the (Polish) girl in the kiosk has to reboot them, and we are all rewarded with the pumps LCD displays showing the boot sequence and hardware diagnostic, ending with “checking for updates”…

and they worry about evil chinese hackers hacking the power grid???

And eventually all these mouth-breathing oxygen thieves will happily line up at the chipping stations, once hard cash has been made illegal.
Of course they will make up the appropriate doublespeak and call cash “unsafe for lawful transaction” and declare the VISA-RFID-chips truly safe from stealing only when implanted.

I pity the bastards who´ll try to tag me like a dog. I hope I can take at least 2 or 3 with me before they shoot me like a dog too.
