But I disagree, midlife crisis is just a buzzword the professional psycho wimminz and their niggerz coined to mask the single most important turning point in a Mans life. And it´s actually not even the only one.
Men get a couple of those “award” moments, mostly they go by unnoticed. Bulldozed by ego/ambition. But this shit builds up until you cannot ignore anymore.

Wimminz only get one, when their egg basket dries up and the mustache starts growing.
Pretty much the main reason they can´t fathom true epiphanies and constantly babble about our oh so silly “one” crisis.
The just can´t emphasize for shit, or simply don´t bother trying.

It’s not what I’d call an accurate description but it’s pretty common. Enough so that most people have seen it.

Anyway… you wake up one day somewhere around 45 or so and realize that all the petty bullshit that drove you to ” be somebody” just doesn’t mean shit anymore.

You can’t understand it until you’re there though. I was talking a while back with this fellow at work ( I’m a boilermaker/welder) and he’s just blown away at my lack of ambition. He’s 35 and still trying to “find the right girl” and I’m 48 with so much behind me. Point is, I could not make him see things from my point of view. We still get along just fine but this guy thinks I’m some kind of fuckup because I’m not trying to be the next Foreman of the shop or Plant Superintendent or some other pompous bullshit.

The best part of it though is that the shaming no longer works. You don’t respect me as much anymore ’cause I’m not trying to climb some fucking ladder? So what?
