In reality my credit rating should be infinite, because I would never borrow what I could not repay with plan B, and never walk away from an unpaid debt, but the fact is I am untouchable by the rating agencies, not because of anything about me, but because of a lack of the appropriate data about me held by them.

In effect, the metadata about me is priceless, however incorrect it may be, whereas the actual article, me, is valueless.

It is like an ultimate fiat currency, where the currency has been devolved from the gold standard, and the fiat currency not even physical note, but the fiat currency held in a computer, is priceless, whereas actual gold is valueless.
