It’s as though there’s a certain breed that feels no one is allowed to party but them. I have a few albums especially for the edification of such nitwits. Ministry’s Filth Pig (1995) has a killer bass line. Schönberg’s Pierrot Lunaire is simultaneously beautiful and disconcerting to be subjected to involuntarily. Lou Reed’s Metal Machine Music is the “big gun” for people who just won’t shut the fuck up.
