This Liz Jones article is a good find, especially as she probably earns over 100,000 per year as a columnist.

It made me remember this similar article by Petronella Wyatt born 1968 (Thatcher worshipper, ex mistress of Boris Johnson) where she laments that she cannot afford the good middle class life anymore on a mere 80,000 a year in London:
