In much the same way as saving as .jpg and deleting and wiping the full resolution image, there are moments in life that can’t be undone, and ripple through for the remainder. A bell can’t be unrung, a glass can’t be unbroken, a piece of wood can’t be unburnt, a woman can’t unlose her virginity. At the time it happens, it never seems momentus, but by the time the realization sets in, it’s often too late to bring back what once was.
