the US already has air superiority as a given against every other opponent on the planet … excepting possibly Russia and China.

they have cruise missiles ( +1500 mi range ), stealth fighters and stealth bombers.

their characterization of it was pretty much the vanilla characterization everyone else got; that Obama would be much more agreeable to Russ goals after his re-election.

which is completely at odds with how things have actually turned out in the public sphere post 2012; that the US has tried to make Russia eat shit at every opportunity on the world stage.

i’m out on the “loony conspiracy theory” fringe.

i’m saying that Obama / Washington are providing the pretexts for Russia / China to lay the groundwork to pull all the remaining legs ( manufacturing is already gone ) out from underneath the “American Empire”.

and i suspect that he is being directed to do so.

it would be a classic “counter-push” tactic.

i’ve no idea why you think that’s supposed to be a ‘sting in the tail’ to me. i made no comment on Putin’s character. i’m only pointing out, however obliquely, that everything Obama does is contrary to US and western national interest.

why does Putin have pretext to ‘interfere’ in Ukraine?

why do China, Putin, et al have pretext to decouple from the petro-dollar?

it’s simple happenstance that Obama has converted all of north Africa and the Near East into a hotbed incubator for a new Caliphate?

it’s purely an expression of Obama’s incompetence that practically every single foreign relations exchange he’s involved in devolves into farce ( beginning at minimum with his failed lobbying for the 2016 Olympics in 2009 ).

sure, it could be simple blithering “red diaper baby” idiocy. maybe.

as for Putin, i agree. whatever his personal ambitions or adherence to Marxist orthodoxy, i think that he really is concerned about the well being of his people and nation.

and though calling Putin a “Nationalist Socialist” may be amusing, one must ask, “Why shouldn’t he be?”

wouldn’t you PREFER to be governed by a president / prime minister who actually had the best interest of his own citizens at heart?

it’d be a nice change of pace from what most of us actually have right now.
