Government can decide on a whim the money is now illegal, put up capital controls, and theres little the small fries can do about it.

Best thing Im hoping for is to invest in my own skillsets. Cant own much physical assets as a foreigner in Asia, except your own knowledge. I try to learn a bit about different countries from foot on the ground experience, and hope the airports stay open when/if its time to fly out. Some day I may need to return to those places if things get rough back home.
