When I added a roll/style bar, obviously the stock tonneau wouldn't fit. I took my problem to a shop that does upholstery and makes boat covers. This is the solution he came up with.
The guy at the upholstery shop cut holes for the bar, then made slit from hole to hole. He bound the holes, sewed a strip of velcro on the cover along the slit and made a flap from vinyl. He put the other velcro on the bottom of the flap and sewed it onto the front part of the tonneau. I've had this one and a red one modified in this manner, and they both work like a charm! Hope this helps.
