On the models mentioned above, the audio fuse is not removed during transportation. If the ignition key is left in the "ACC" position, the battery will have difficulty cranking the engine after a few days and could be dead after a week.
Due to the shift lock system on A/T models or the clutch pedal interlock (two motion) system for M/T models, after shutting off the engine the driver may be unaware that the key is actually in the "ACC" position. Please confirm that the key is turned "OFF" on these vehicles to prevent unnecessary battery problems.
NOTE: On MX-5, discharging time is shortened by approximately 20% |
