Description
The MIL light may illuminate on some vehicles with DTC P0470
stored in memory. This may be caused by the EGR boost sensor hose
disconnecting from the EGR valve.
Customers complaining of MIL light illumination should have
the vehicle inspected and repaired according to this bulletin.
Repair Procedure
- Confirm that the host is in place on the EGR valve.
- If the hose is not connected, proceed to step 2.
- If the hose is connected, refer to the workshop
manual for troubleshooting and repair
information.
- Remove hose assembly.
- Install new hose assembly according to the illustrations
below.
