Saker Webmaster
I asked it before and I’ll ask it again, “Does Anyone Still Seriously Believe That Russia And Israel Aren’t Allies?”
Alt-Media must be reeling in agony and scrambling to deploy its most popular pundits after what Russia’s deputy ambassador to “Israel” just said.
No, this is not “5D chess”, there is no “master plan of deception” behind this, Russia is NOT an “anti-Zionist crusader state” — to the contrary, this is as direct as it gets and it confirms what I’ve written about before concerning the alliance between these two parties and Russia’s desire to “balance” Mideast Affairs by implicitly “containing” Iran:
————————————-
“Were Iran to attack Israel, Moscow would stand by the Jewish state’s side, a Russian official said this week, days after an Iranian-made drone infiltrated Israel from Syria and was shot down by the IDF.
“In the case of aggression against Israel, not only will the United States stand by Israel’s side — Russia, too, will be on Israel’s side,” Russian Deputy Ambassador to Israel Leonid Frolov said. “Many of our countrymen live here in Israel, and Israel in general is a friendly nation, and therefore we won’t allow any aggression against Israel.”
…
“We certainly support Israel’s right to defend itself, and the actions of Israeli pilots were entirely correct,” he said of Saturday’s flareup in the north, during which an Israeli fighter jet was shot down by a Syrian anti-aircraft battery and two pilots were injured.
“We certainly regret that in this incident two Israeli pilots were injured,” Frolov said. “On behalf of the Russian embassy I am wishing a speedy recovery to the wounded pilots.”
…
Israel’s demand that Iran not be allowed to establish a strong military presence in Syria is “absolutely legitimate,” Frolov said.
Moscow agrees that Iranian forces must leave the country as soon as the bloody civil war ends and a new democratic government is established, he said.
…
In seeking to prevent Iran’s entrenchment in Syria, Israel should “have established closer ties with Syrian secret services,” he added.
…
“I am sure that every UAV that intrudes into Israeli airspace needs to be shot down. It would be even better to bring down the UAV [without destroying it] and to see who created it, to whom it belongs,” he said, speaking in Russian through an interpreter.
…
“… No one doubts that Israel has the capability to defeat Iranian military forces in Syria.”
…
Jerusalem usually updates Moscow before launching strikes in Syria, and therefore it was unlikely that any Russians were hit by Israel’s attacks on Saturday, Frolov said.
Asked if Russia gives Israel the green light for those attacks, he replied, “I don’t think that Israel is the type of country that takes instructions or waits for green light from anyone.”
While it was natural for President Vladimir Putin to demand that Israel not harm Russian servicemen, Frolov denied reports that the Kremlin relayed any threats to Jerusalem over that matter. “This is not our modus operandi,” he said.
…
“… No one doubts that Israel’s capital will be in Jerusalem.”
…
No one in Israel applauded when Moscow recognized western Jerusalem as Israel’s capital in April of 2017, Frolov noted, adding that the Russian Embassy in Israel was considering hosting its June 12 Russia Day ceremony in the city.
…
Moscow would actually like the US to take a more active approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Frolov said, noting that after a year of the administration talking about a peace proposal nobody has seen a draft.
…
Frolov also played down the Palestinian leader’s controversial January 14 speech to the Palestine Liberation Organization’s Central Council in Ramallah, in which he claimed that the State of Israel is “a colonial project that has nothing to do with Judaism” to safeguard European interests.
“We’re not little children who get upset over statements made in anger and excitement,” Frolov said, adding that there are also Israelis who make outrageous and historically questionable statements.
As opposed to some Arab states that used to finance wars against Israel but now clandestinely cooperate with the Jewish state, the Palestinians have for some time now been ready to “live in good neighborly relations with Israel,” he said.”

For the necessary background context into understanding why Russia would say such things, please reference my following three analyses:

http://www.eurasiafuture.com/2018/02/15/wagner-syria-iranian-tail-trying-wag-russian-american-dog/
The current shake up of long held beliefs and assumptions seems to have no limits.
If America gets preoccupied with markets melting down and the Arbiter of Disorder in the Middle East leaves Russia as the arbiter of ……… OMG! : Order..???…in the form of a permanent Mexican Standoff…..apparently the prospects of Israel being “pushed into the sea” are not what some here hoped for.
I can’t share a passion for throwing anyone country’s entire population overboard, but I do think many of the worst Zionist thugs should be thrown in the brig….and Israelis freed from their fear-based mind control.
American citizens and British subjects also need long over-due relief from their Captive Crew of the Clueless piratical status.
That’s why I am all for the shake up, even if comments like yours and the complexity they bring to bear give me a headache and make me want to go take a nap.
But before I did that, I had to check with another Russian/Israeli/Swedish?? source who is as anti-Zionist and pro-Palestinian as it gets. OK, now the blender goes into overdrive:
http://www.israelshamir.com/article/a-russian-trump/
I like Putin and am loathe to wish for a change right now, when things remain so dangerous in the world, but out comes Shamir with a new article about a “left” alternative:
Paul N Grudinin…….or “Gru”…..WHO?? who is said to be more of a shake machine purveyor than Ray Kroc…or Donald Trump.
And, according to Shamir, Grudinin is proving that there is ALSO a Russian MSM Fake News factory…that may get shaken up in the Berry Wild World Shake-Up underway……and it won’t be a “smoothie”.
What is “up”? What is “down”. What is “left”? What is “right”…..much less CORRECT?? Or good???
Shamir observes:
“…..Russian state-owned TV is supposed, by its charter, to play a neutral role in the election campaign. They did it for a week after his name was entered into the race. In that week’s time, Gru’s rating skyrocketed and almost reached that of President Putin. This was an unexpected turn of events for the Kremlin, whose political witch-doctors expected Gru to make a modest showing and to improve the doubtful legitimacy of the forthcoming elections.
When they recognised the magnitude of their mistake, they gave a command to their obedient TV channels, and Gru became the target of their daily attacks. Out of eight candidates, Gru is the only one who gets negative coverage. About him, they speak bad or nothing, just like about Trump in the US in his time.”
Holy Elvis! (All Shook Up).
And Jerry Lee Lewis: (Whole Lot Of Shakin’ Going On)
Taking that nap now and letting the seeds settle to the bottom.
Think back to your first days at sea, Bro. Who did you trust as a steady hand on the tiller, the grizzled old sea dog or the smart young novice?
Frolov statements sound very undiplomatic and he seems to be saving his post or trying to avoid being bullied by Israelis.
It is not all about what Russia thinks or does. The regional players have their own game and
Mr. Frolov should not be saying
Were Iran to attack Israel, Moscow would stand by the Jewish state’s side:
What a Shame!
Perhaps he’s telling the blunt truth. Every player has his own game and countries, as a rule, don’t have friends. They have interests.
Russia abides by the international law which prohibits wars of aggression. It is not reported but the opposite is also true. Were Israel to attack Iran, Russia would support Iran in its defense against Israel.
Where is the problem?
Propaganda by one-sided views or skewed reporting through omissions.
Israel seems to be such a fearful child that it needs cuddling badly despite is horrendous behavior.
Besides: Readers of this blog should know better than repeating the lie of “pushing the Jews into the sea”. Arab leaders repeatedly declared that the Israeli government must be abolished in order to come to a peaceful solution in the ME. In my opinion, decades-long experience and facts on the ground support this analysis.
Before crying wolf about “regime change” I would ask to count the number of times the Israeli leadership called and acted for regime change. As far as I can judge, Israel is currently engaged in toppling the governments of Syria (still), Lebanon (again), Iran and the USA. In contrast, Iran and Russia are engaged in supporting the government of Syria and leave the others alone.
Russia is the great balancer and thus acknowledges Israel’s concerns as much as it recognizes the concerns of Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, the Kurds, Irak and Iran.
Just because I realize that my neighbors need to breathe oxygen as everyone else, does that make them my allies? Not necessarily.
To be allies, a much more committed collaboration is required, as in the case of Syria and Russia.
It’s simple guys, Russia is a regular country not a messianic social justice warrior country– or rather the people who run Russia have decided that it makes more sense to be friendly to everyone especially those with which they have had successful technological collaborations.
US indicts 13 Russians for 2016 election meddling, but ‘no allegations’ they influenced outcome
https://www.rt.com/news/419044-us-election-meddling-indicts/
The trump regime (cough) justice dept has indicted 13 Russians for what is essentially being claimed as “helping” the trump regime gain power. You can’t make this stuff up. :-D
‘Absurd’ meddling claims & indictment of Russians show new US policy – Russian FM spokesperson
https://www.rt.com/news/419049-us-indictment-elections-russian-reaction/
Another example how trump weelly weelly wants to improve relations with Russia. ;-D Further obvious evidence that trump is as much in on the zionazi anti-Russia psyops as is his supposed political opponents. One wonders at what sort of creative spin the trumpette spam will employ to explain why their supposed friend of the Russians in the wh did this.
Well, it’s more complicated than that. Trump is in a fight with the FBI/DOJ, but he has to play his cards carefully. If he tried to shut down this investigation, the Democrats and media would have used it against him. As it is, the “investigation” has proven itself to be a complete farce.
This article (and the comments, some of which are pretty funny) sort of sums up what a total joke the Mueller investigation has proven to be:
https://www.zerohedge.com/news/2018-02-16/muellers-investigation-farce-files-joke-indictment-against-russian-trolls
My problem is with the timing : exactly when the whole america could watch 24 hours/day the mass-shooting, with some officers from FBI saying that this could have be avoided, the perpetrator being known to them as you may know from news. Derailment ?
The Pindos continue to impress appreciably with their firearms — this time in Parkland, Florida. One is tempted to ask oneself whether the Exceptionals and Indispensables even have any need for schools to begin with? Judging by their ignorance with regard to the outside world, they might just as well stay clear and shoot as much as they please.
On a more serious note, the lesson to be drawn from all these manifestations of psychotic bloodthirst among the West’s 99% such as Norway’s Anders Behring Breivik and his US counterparts is that keeping up the Zionazi “fighting spirit” of Western society by feeding it deranged popular misculture 24/7 inevitably leads to collateral damage. After all, not every Western slob will be volunteering to go abroad to kill en masse; there will always be dregs that don’t mind killing their own kith and kin back home.
Bottom line: The notion that private firearms are how the Pindos will win ‘healthy respect’ when confronting ‘government tyranny’ is a somewhat optimistic, but also extremely funny, perception.
The MO of the ‘lone-nut’ gunman goes back to Charles Joseph Whitman at the University of Texas on the 1st of August, 1966. However the first actual patsy for a ‘lone-nut gunman’ goes back to the assassination of John F Kennedy, in November 1963 with Lee Harvey Oswald being targeted as ‘the patsy’.
I’ve hardly looked at this latest psy-ops, but it appears that the gunman was a former student at the school which is very similar to the Sandy Hook (non)massacre and Adam Lanza. But Sandy Hook has several similarities to the Dunblane Massacre in 1996 where a Thomas Hamilton shot all the victims with a 32 Browning pistol, of which two were initially found at the crime scene with the school janitor John Currie seen holding one of those Browning pistols while the body of Thomas Hamilton was still in its death throes. However Thomas Hamilton was then shot through the mouth whilst lying on the floor with a Smith & Wesson revolver that was not originally seen at the scene, and two bullet holes from that shooting were seen in the wall behind Hamilton’s head, and the ‘student teacher’ David Duke Scot stated in the Cullen Inquiry that he had seen Hamilton put the revolver, which was not there, in his mouth and shoot himself.
The one thing that I have noticed is the number of these ‘lone-nut gunmen’ who have actually had a mental illness, which was something that Professor Simon Chapman commented on in the morning news in regard to the Port Arthur Massacre on the 29th of April 1996. So yes, the planners of these massacres do use the mentally ill to perform their satanic deeds.

Will the Israeli-Iranian Showdown Be in Syria — or New York?
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/48805.htm
“Earlier last month, a little-noticed leaked UN Panel report accused Iran of violating a UN-imposed arms embargo on Yemen. The report doesn’t claim that Iran has provided weapons to the Houthi rebels in Yemen, but rather that Tehran has failed to keep the rebels from obtaining Iranian weapons. As a result, the panel concludes that Iran is in non-compliance with UN Security Council Resolution 2216.
The somewhat far-fetched Saudi plan has been to use the report to impose on Iran a new resolution under Chapter VII of the United Nations Charter, which allows the UN Security Council to “determine the existence of any threat to the peace, breach of the peace, or act of aggression” and to take action to “restore international peace and security.”
Such a resolution would once again put Iran in the penalty box, with its economy sanctioned and its political pathways for influence in the region blocked — i.e., an all-out containment of Iran. In Riyadh’s calculation, this will thwart Tehran’s rise and shift the regional balance in favor of Saudi Arabia and Israel.
The value of such a resolution to Israel and Saudi Arabia — and its threat to Iran — go far beyond the rather limited economic impact of the sanctions it may impose. A Chapter VII Security Council resolution “securitizes” a country, in the words of Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif. Anything pertaining to Iran — whether regular trade or even participation in political bodies — will be seen through a security lens, Zarif told me in an interview for my book Losing an Enemy – Obama, Iran and the Triumph of Diplomacy.
In Iran’s case, it meant that it was viewed as having a menacing nuclear program before it was viewed as a country or a nation. The country and its activities were now officially defined as a threat to international peace and stability. Though the UN sanctions imposed on Iran were not biting per se, they were nevertheless a critical component of the securitization of Iran. “Sanctions were both an outcome of this securitization environment and also perpetuated by it,” Zarif argued. “It showed that this country [Iran] is a security threat because of the sanctions.”
Israel and Saudi Arabia’s opposition to the nuclear deal was partly rooted in their desire to keep Iran permanently isolated. By striking the nuclear deal and neutralizing that threat, Barack Obama deprived Israel and Saudi Arabia of their main tool for pursuing Iran’s containment.
Now, whether through the UN Panel report on Yemen or allegations of Iranian drones violating Israeli airspace, the Israeli-Saudi alliance hope they have a path towards a new UN Security Council resolution that once again puts Iran in the penalty box and paves the way for an all-out American containment of Iran.
Thus, despite high rhetoric and tough statements, the real showdown may soon move from the Israeli-Syrian border to New York. Not only is the cost less for Israel, but the impact will arguably also be greater. While a strong military assault against alleged Iranian positions in Syria may win Israel and Saudi Arabia a few weeks, a Chapter VII resolution at the UN can win them a decade.
But just as Putin blocked Israel’s bombing campaign in Syria, he holds a similar trump card in New York: a Security Council veto. Israel and Saudi Arabia may have Donald Trump and Nikki Haley where they want them, but without Russia, their campaign to shift the regional balance of power against Iran remains an uphill climb.”
For a long time I was perplexed by the many contradictions in geopolitics. I deduced, intuited, reasoned that there must be some ultimate organization that facilitated monetary policy, funded and influenced transactions between nations, some common connection, some ultimate lever that would explain the contradictions.
A few examples:
Why do the nations spend so much on military weaponry without actually having a real tangible necessity, an existential need for it?
When examining wars and reasons for war, why did all the recent and historical rationale make little sense… except when considered in light of how much international banking profitted from those wars?
Why has every nation in modern history that has resisted the control of international banking been under great duress or bombed into submission and subsumed?
Why is ponzi finance, onerous usary, insane unsustainable debt supported and encouraged almost universally?
How and why do nations seemingly at odds on foreign policy such as China and the US, or Russia and the US, or Israel and Russia conduct commerce, trade, cooperative research and technology endeavors, and banking?
Are the BRICS Bank, Russian Federation Central Bank, SCO, and other eastern cooperation, trade and banking really in opposition to the interests of globalist bankers?
Where do all those missing billions go? Missing from budgets, from balance sheets, from wars, from finance… how does that money move or dissappear without a paper or digital trail?
Are there really special private bond denominations in the billions that are exchanged?
Other recent questions and concerns germane to topics and conversations here:
Why does Russia allow the West and especially Israel to commit illegal acts in Syria and elsewhere? And why does the Russian foreign policy take such a moderate position with Israel?
I took it upon myself, in 2015 to study and attempt to find the ultimate answer to these and many other similar questions concerning the ultimate and unitary power structure of this world.
Tracing the connections and relationships, structure, history, persons and how it all related. Connections between the New World Order, One World Government, Federal Reserve, Trilateral Commision, Bilderberg, CFR, World Bank, IMF, The Vatican, Rothschilds, Dynastic Families, Agenda 21 and 2030, and many of the other corporations, organizations and institutions that weild global power.
The answer was “follow the money”.
All the money leads to one private institution that is immune to all rules and laws both national and international. It has its own private police force and is not answerable or governed by any power or body other than itself. It conducts monetary transactions in the billions of dollars with no public ledger, accountability, or oversight.
It financed and funded WWII both the Axis and the Allies. It conducts financial transactions between governments, nations, corporations, individuals, all privately and secretly.
The Bank for International Settlements.
I highly recommend reading or at least browsing the main points and crucial content at these links if you are not thoroughly familiar with the BIS.
It explains the contradictions, it answers many questions.

Many here have gone down your path of perplexity, confusion and research. And more pain.
Lord Acton said: “The issue which has swept down the centuries and which will have to be fought sooner or later is the people versus the banks.”
https://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/lord_acton_409908
Dutch banker Ronald Bernard has informed the world on precisely how the bankers perpetuate their stranglehold over humanity.
I am Dutch born and bred for my first seven years, shortly after the end of World War ll.
I grew up as an immigrant child amongst thousands of displaced persons: the cheap Labour Force in a vast, empty country.
All my life I pondered the questions that formed in my heart and mind, as a result of the way grown-ups behaved. And treated children. Or mistreated them.
I wanted to be a part of humanity that worked towards no more war, ever.
I became a public health clinic Child Therapist to give kids better chances.
And here we are.
I, and many others, have no reason to doubt Ronald Bernard’s moving life story. The episodes can be found on YouTube.
We now know precisely what Lord Acton alluded to.
Babushka,
Thanks for relating your story.
I remember watching those riveting video clips of Ronald Bernard describing his former functions as an elite banking money launderer, banking operative enforcer. The compelling testimony of how he was required to commit increasingly immoral and brutal acts on behalf of, and in allegiance to, a criminal syndicate of international banking. And when it finally escallated to harming a child, the ultimate initiation into the dark brotherhood, his conscience and soul refused.
Blackmail is the evil leverage control used by the syndicate to own its operatives.
It was an act of courage for Ronald Bernard to
denounce and expose his former employers.
He deserves the People’s Peace Prize.
I looked up Bernard again to see if there were any new videos and was saddened (but not shocked) to learn that he is another victim in the long list of whistleblowers.

Unable to stand the strategic tension any longer, I was looking for some comic relief this evening, and I found it:

in a geopolitically relevant narration in Russian accent which one viewer describes as, “The weirdest thing I’ve ever seen on the internet.”
I hope it resonates with One Minion, ioan, All Lovers of Time and Timexes….guys that write books about dogs.and all old Sea Dogs like myself, mindful of crackups (funny and not so funny) and bar drinks like “White Russian—On the Rocks” comforted by the thought that wise “investors” in True Value will adopt us after we stagger onto shore, bruised and naked after running our Good Fortune Vessels onto the Cold Sharp Reefs of Hard Reality.
From Igor Kryan, from Russia-America, With Love.
I have to thank you Bro 93 for this video…no, not just because the guy mentioned the four legged ones but for what he said on the general meaning of “value”, what is really valuable for us, when – as his teacher at college noted – “we came naked in this world, without nothing, and we shall left naked, without nothing” , yes, empty handed. But, we are humans, playing on this earthly stage, within the multitude, taken by waves, willing to survive, disappointing ourselves many times. Even the time is changing during our life not just once, politically, economically – hard to digest and yet, we have to, going further, to meet our last emptiness, asking for more time.
Can Iranians inspire much confidence with their belief in the return of the Mahdi?
Stop the trolling, Anon. Only fools spend their days waiting for better days and thus, ironically, missing even the few, precious days this current incarnation provides them with. The mystery of existence is so overwhelmingly deep and vast, non-stop overflowing with bliss, that you have to be utterly blind and ignorant to be waiting for fame, cash, recognition or Godot.
But, yes, we might run out of oil and other resources one day, but the supply of fools seems unlimited.

Another dictatorship in Brasil?
Parliamentary coup d’état ‘president’ orders military intervention in Rio de Janeiro to ‘control violence’, despite the fact that even the military recognise that there has been less violence this year then last year.
This could also be seen as vengeance of corruptpresident Temer after Tuiuti School Samba portrayed him as a vampire in carnival, gaining overwhelming support from the population.
Additionally, some politicians suggest Tremer is trying to gain votes with the support of Rede Globo, the MSM that promoted the parliamentary coup d’etat. In its recent broadcasts, Rede Globo has overstated its news stories on the level of violence in Rio ( fake news!), and it is now supporting the military intervention.
The Polish government has instituted a new policy:

Shouldn’t be a problem. Here’s how it most likely will play out.
PSHEK: Do you support WW2 Ukrainian Nazi collaborators Bandera and the UPA?
UKRO: Hell yes, you stupid, rotten… . But you wouldn’t mind seeing some anti-Moskal ‘action’ first while awaiting your turn, right?
PSHEK: Be welcome, dear Ukrainian patriots!
It’s the discreet charm of the honorary Euro-trash. Quite entertaining sometimes.

Do you have any idea what is to live in the real Third World? Eastern Europe is not Third World. The ME is not Third World (I lived there). Yes, they are at the centre of a global convulsion, and the future of humanity may be decided there, involving Russia and China and Iran and the noisy zionists, of course. But, remember that the world is a big place. What is happening is Brazil is also part of the whole. And the situation there is getting worse… Latin America is in a mess, as the US is being more cornered by the day… Sorry, my English is not perfect; but I think that, when somebody from Africa or Latin America comes to this site to say something, you should not ignore. Did I interrupt? Sorry, it was a new comment, and I thought I had some important news… Maybe Latin America and Africa don’t matter…

Always a pleasure to watch and listen to him, and no exception this time either, thanks
I’ve been a follower of Dear Saker for a few months now, and love this website. Please keep speaking the truth!
Is anyone else just appalled by Mueller’s conclusion that 13 Russians sowed discord in the political system?? This 9 month long investigation spending millions of dollars and this is the conclusion? America is in such a sad shape today!
I’m an American citizen and am appalled by our insane “leaders”! Don’t worry dear friends around the world- we are destroying ourselves from within.
Please pray for us ordinary Americans who are slaves to the financial elites. And pray we have the courage to stand up and confront them! The best that could happen is another civil war where the States take back power from the federal empire.
You are welcome. I am not sure if a civil war could/would ever end the serfdom. As long as money rules, my change vectors are:
1. Invest as much of my private savings in ethically favorable and benign undertakings. It is bad enough that the majority of enforced retirement savings are invested in profitable but morally/ethically bankrupt undertakings. One warning though: truly benign undertakings are rare gems in a sea of garbage.
2. Donate a significant amount of my earnings to few, carefully selected charities and NGOs, whom I trust to not distort facts for their own benefits.
3. Pay all taxes that are due but strictly interdict their use for illegal activities. If everybody would declare this, the population as a whole could enforce full compliance with domestic and international law for every penny spent by the authorities. To me this declaration is a must in order to comply with the current laws. The payment of taxes without such declaration means to finance/support terror organizations (namely the secret services and the military that are used to terrorize people and wreck havoc) and is punishable by the anti-terror laws.
Best regards,
Marcel

Russian Men’s Team Demolishes US in Olympic Hockey Group B Playoffs
https://sputniknews.com/sport/201802171061767399-russian-us-olympic-hockey-win/
“The Russian men’s hockey team soundly defeated their US opponents at the Winter Olympics, allowing them to move on to the quarterfinals.
The Russians defeated the US 4-0. Nikolay Prokhorkin and Ilya Kovalchuk scored two goals apiece, the latter in quick succession just 28 seconds apart during the 40th and 41st minutes of the game.”
And, naturally, the pindos played very dirty:
Russian men’s hockey squad trounces US 4-0 in Pyeongchang
https://www.rt.com/sport/419111-russia-us-hockey-olympics/
“The American side played rough on the night, and there were a lot of scuffles during the match. “There were moments when we tried to calm the guys down,” Russian coach Oleg Znarok said. “We didn’t fall for provocations. Our opponents were, probably, tasked with attacking our leaders when they hit [Pavel] Datsyuk and Kovalchuk.”
That well known, traditional american resort to unsportsman-like behaviour, along with american attempt to prevent Russians competing altogether (as described in the article), makes their humiliating defeat to the Russians all the more karmic.
There are some interesting food analogies in this whole Russia Collusion/Collision/Confusion imbroglio:

Well, whatever it is, no one is swallowing it. Everyone i know is angry at the FBI for not dealing with obvious, reported, believable threats of violence. Perhaps this is because members of the Democrat party which the FBI serves are the ones making unveiled threats of violence against other people.
Time to make Mueller eat crow instead of pandering to his position that still demonizes Russia or Russians. Switching a false narrative around so that Trump is absolved still leaves it as a false narrative and, to wreak havoc on yet another metaphor, just turns it into a loose cannon
.
May beating the dead of horse of Russian “influence on the election” cease! The story just keeps metamorphosing and metastasizing ad nauseam.

‘We’re always told to prove ourselves as Americans’: Muslim blogger grilled on US TV, tells RT
https://www.rt.com/usa/419115-muslims-prove-identity-america-interview/
“After an Iranian-American fashion blogger was grilled on live TV about her heritage, she fired back with a biting critique of the US. She told RT what her interview reveals about attitudes towards Muslims in the West.
Hoda Katebi, 23, was originally asked to come onto Chicago’s WGN News live morning show to talk about her book, ‘Tehran Streetstyle.’ But when she was suddenly asked for her views on Iran’s nuclear program, she responded that the US could not be trusted either, due to its history of meddling all across the world, including the Middle East.
One of the co-hosts of the show then suggested her remarks sounded un-American, to which she responded that, aside from foreign intervention, the US must also face up to its treatment of black people and Native Americans, and accused the host of pushing stereotypes.
Katebi said that being told by one of the TV hosts – the award-winning Robin Baumgarten – that she doesn’t “sound like an American,” puts into perspective the kind of discrimination Muslims and other minorities face in many Western countries.
“It goes back to the place that Muslims in America are constantly put in, in that we constantly have to prove we’re American enough to deserve respect, to deserve not being bond or banned,” she explained. “The second we criticize the state for what they’ve actually done we’re deemed un-American.”
“Once you say something you’re going to get a bunch of death threats, you’re gonna get hate and the state might put a little microscope over you as well,” she added.
Then again, Katebi noted, maybe being called “un-American” was actually kind of a compliment, as she does not “want to sound like someone who would vote Trump into office.”
“This is not just me this has happened to, I was just lucky enough to record it and share it online, but this happens constantly, every single day, all the time,” she said. “One thing I appreciate about the virality of this is that people are standing up now and saying ‘this is not normal, this is not OK, we should not allow this.’”
The Anti-muslim crapola on Infowars even makes some of the better commentators look like Zio-Dupes.
That what happens when principle and intellectual depth are sacrificed for short-term knee-jerk gains in gate receipts…..and supplement sales…using Ego-based FEAR…as the selling (out to Empire) point.
The anti Russian hysteria comes from many quarters… even served up on a cooking show.
Filling in time on a long flight out of Oz, (going anywhere is a long haul flight) I watched a few episodes of My Kitchen Rules -cooking reality show on Channel 7. I would never usually watch such contrived formula-driven drivel, but in the interests of research in fighting the Empires’ War against Russia, I suffered through it.
This show is a classic attack on Russia, and they do that by having two ‘Russian’ competitors.
The promo for this show featured heavily between sets of the Australian Open Tennis competition (January) when Oz teemed with international visitors.
The promo features teammates ‘Olga’ and ‘Valeria’ declaring to the camera, ‘The Cold War is here!’ whilst standing in front of the hammer and sickle.
The deliberate exaggeration of hackneyed Russian symbols and stereotypes will be lapped up by the sheeple.
Naturally, just like in a Bond spy novel, Olga and Valeria, have been painted as the villains and the nastiest competitors ever. And given stupid lines to sprout, like ‘We are not here to make friends, we are here to win’ and ‘Russia never lost a war.’
Asked why they went on the show: ‘We want to show that Russians don’t just drink vodka and fight bears’, Valeria says with a smile. ‘And to prove that Russians aren’t really all that bad… not all the time.’
The women say they want to showcase Russian cooking. Hmmm I bet when it’s their turn to cook, they will ‘flop’ on cue and serve up slop. This episode airs tonight. But, I will be too busy enjoying food in Vietnam.

“Fast” Eddy (Paul Newman) to Jackie Gleason (Minnesota Fats):
“Rack’em, Fat Man! I’m playin’ this one fast and loose.”
https://youtu.be/fRQsuCJ-g4I
Background: My Partner emailed me Friday:
“FYI – Finally got off my ass…
BTC moved $2500 in one week. A bit surprised by that because last time I looked it was bouncing around $9K and I was holding out for $7500, which it hit apparently. Ugh. You snooze you lose.”
(His account was not registered on the exchange when it hit $7500…..)
I respond to his glumness, in Fast Eddy Fashion, even though I know one hell of a lot less about the Internet of Money than Fast Eddy Felson knew about pool. Or Dirty Pool :
(My) Partner:
Just to get your mind soaring higher above the terrain than the dreary daily grind and the little rise in BTC that has you down a bit I have some seed thoughts for you to consider.
If you want expansion on any of them, reference the #:
1) In the long run, $7,000 BTC or $11,000 BTC as a starting point makes little difference. It’s either going to 6 or 7 digits in USD of present 2018 value or ZERO. My “red pill” bet is the former, not the latter. Which makes it an “asymmetric opportunity” whereby 2-10% of voluntarily riskable, investable savings (whatever your “wouldn’t lose any sleep if it all tanked” level is……) could easily rise 10 or even 100 times in 5-10 years…….with a wild “white knuckle” ride in between, every year, if not every quarter year. However it is expected that volatility (and asymmetric opportunity) will diminish and flatten out at a much higher plateau with mass adoption, than recent or present levels. Same with Etherium, a 10 X lower entry point. Although there are differences in their functions, the similarity is that they are “platforms” that many other crypto-currencies are built upon, with their more specific usages. There are other platforms but BTC and ETH are by far the biggest two. But presently either BTC or ETH are required to buy all the other “Alt-Coins” giving those two the status of “reserve” Crypto-currencies.
2) Although the BTC platform is the first and biggest and faces the challenge of one day being knocked off that perch and even “obsolete” I tend to agree with the guy in Beverly Hills who hosted the Crypto-currency Mastermind February 10, when he commented, “I wouldn’t bet against The Brand.” Not yet, anyway.
3) One I would keep an eye on (not that I understand it that well yet…) is EOS whose technical white paper in full 14 page form is here: https://github.com/EOSIO/Documentation/blob/master/TechnicalWhitePaper.md
Why EOS? Several reasons:
A) I have heard it touted as a newer upstart that has an uphill climb in passing Etherium, however it is said to lack flaws inherent in Etherium’s unchangeable algorithm and have the exciting potential to become “block chain real estate” (literally rentable for its extremely wide potential applications…and follows the “Why LAND??” maxim: “Because they ain’t makin’ ANY more of it.”) in a way Etherium will be hard pressed to adapt to. So that is interesting!
B) Every panel poolside in Beverly Hills a week ago was asked the inevitable question:” WHICH ONE DO YOU PERSONALLY like the most?” After the obligatory disclaimer : “This is NOT investment advice!” and in a quieter voice, I noticed that a distinct plurality of the panelists included EOS in their very short lists.
C) When pressed to explain WHY?….came the answer: Dan Larimer. And Team. Team (of developers) is a hugely important ingredient in evaluation of any particular cryptocurrency’s prospects of gaining “traction”. Dan Larimer is said to be one of Vitali Buterin’s (founder of Etherium) key collaborators in the ETH and ETC (Etherium Classic….after a “fork”….) projects. Soooo, WHO ELSE might be better positioned to learn from the ETH experience to come up with something at 1/100 the present token price of ETH …Ether…but with some REAL shot (according to a few not so dumb people…) at eventually surpassing ETH??? Dan might be “The Man”.
D) Anyway, here’s a you tuber “The Awakenment” From DOWN UNDER that agrees with that assessment: https://youtu.be/svYvTkABDvo Namely, “EOS = BLockchain Real Estate”.
4. There were others mentioned poolside as among the best (and the worst…..the “Joke Coins”….) , but let me stick with what I have intuited as most significant, from what my antennae have picked up thus far: For the “Little Guy” (or Gal) who could pick up 100-500 EOS (and be out of ammunition to do ANYTHING else) at about $10 a coin (Check prices here: https://coinmarketcap.com/ and input EOS (or BTC or ETH ….or any other “coin”) > there’s a gamble that could be Life Changing …for you. IF you could hang on for several years……But “I’m not giving investment advice.” LOL….. And will readily stand aside for the first better qualified expert that better knows what they are talking about.
5. Now 1 -4 have all been in the investor/speculator “risk no more than you could afford to lose—–WITHOUT losing sleep” category. But YOU are a serial entrepreneur. An aggregator of talent, technology and teams. There’s a whole other level of opportunity for people like you. THAT opportunity may require far less capital in FIAT currency (USD, EURO, YEN, YUAN, etc, etc) and literally make YOU…..a billionaire. HOW??? By incorporating block chain technology in your next deployment of energy and creativity and deploying the multiplication of very large numbers!
6. Specific scenario coming with your million bucks a unit electron accelerator cancer zapper units, as anchor tech you know the best. Yes, it is true that the Persian Private Equity guy will probably give you the same answer as all other Private Equity guys in the last 3 years. HOWEVER, there will be a difference in YOU soon, and there is a difference in him, already: A) You, very soon, will grasp what blockchain and ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings) can do to add rocket fuel to existing businesses …. And B) The Persian consults with entrepreneurs and CEOs like yourself in raising capital, not just with private equity from a few “whales” but from millions of “small fish” that might have cancer or have a family member that has cancer…..AND that’s his niche: anti-cancer businesses!!! So the rejection result MIGHT not be repeated.
7. Blockchain WILL apply to your industry. You and I just don’t know exactly how that might happen. Like I said, my gut tells me an assortment of the best approaches (which the Persian Knows!!) that need serious capital to gain critical mass seems like a more promising approach to me than your electron zapper by itself. Since you are weary of working so hard and are about to throw in the towel anyway, and let a precious life-saving company die on the vine, here’s what I would do first, if I were in your shoes:
A) Read a couple of key White Papers of ICOs and “get” the power-gestalt of Blockchain Technology.
B) Select a Day to Day Manager or CEO to relieve yourself of the grind, and give your enterprise time to benefit from the capital infusion it has needed….from a NEW source ICO!!!! ……that you never imagined before….while you and the Persian do the same for a few other similar anti-cancer ventures ranging from immune system remedies to yours, to ________ ????
C) You and the Persian figure out the White Paper, the Tech (Crypto) Team, the Presale, The ICO and (here’s where the multiplier comes in the total number of coins the algorithm will set as a limit, Say 100 million, for example. Your zapper gets 1/5 or 1/3 of the resulting “jump start” or Rocket Fuel” injection. The founders…you alone or with 1-2-3 others reserve 25% of the offering of the crypto-currency for yourselves. You raise $75 million at the ICO. You PERSONALLY hold 10 million coins CNK (Cancer Killers). They catch on because the plurality of the techs you select are valid and DO grow. The coin goes from $1 apiece to $100 per coin. You hold 10 million of them. 10,000,000 X $100 = $1 Billion.
D) Oh, I forgot! You give me 1 million coins as “consulting fee”. LOL
8. Before you meet with the Persian….you read the books you already have: The Internet of Money Part 1 and Part 2 by Andreas Antonopoulos ….and some ICO White Papers that I will give you next time we meet. Give ME a chance to read them.
9. THERE’s where the really big (and FUN bucks) are for you, IMHO. I am limited to risking some hard earned savings. You are not. What YOU could leverage, with much, much less capital risk….if something like the above outline gels….would make the usual investor/speculator…….. even one with a million dollars to risk…..”look like a piker” in comparison.
Unlike Fast Eddy Felson (who had his hands crushed by the Minnesotta Mob for being too good at pool) my only risk with the above is getting laughed at.
Let’s see: And millions of people might have Hour Glass Sands of Longer Life Augmented by technologies Big Pharma and Wall Street won’t fund???
Those odds are fine with me.
G’night.

Great ! ehjoyed it very much ( and the above also) thanks for sharing !
Wow. I had no idea Motorhead did anything like that.
AFAIK no one in the UK music scene ever said a bad word about Lemmy. Ever read Chrissie Hynde’s book? She doesn’t romanticize anything, but in fact Lemmy guided her to the future Pretenders. Every doc I’ve seen about the man shows a guy who perhaps drank/drugged more (?) than most but who offstage was a mild mannered collector of Beatles albums and Wehrmacht gear. Hyped images are less interesting than reality. Thanks for the tune OM.

Carl Jung:
“Dear Prof. Raman, 6 September 1947
I haven’t yet received The Astrological Magazine, but I will answer your letter nevertheless.
Since you want to know my opinion about astrology I can tell you that I’ve been interested in this particular activity of the human mind for more than 30 years.
As I am a psychologist I’m chiefly interested in the particular light the horoscope sheds on certain complications in the character.
In cases of difficult psychological diagnosis I usually get a horoscope in order to have a further point of view
from an entirely different angle.
I must say that I very often found that the astrological data elucidated certain points which I otherwise would have been unable to understand.
From such experiences I formed the opinion that astrology is of particular interest to the psychologist, since it contains a sort of psychological experience which we call “projected” -this means that we find the psychological facts as it were in the constellations.
This originally gave rise to the idea that these factors derive from the stars, whereas they are merely in a rela- tion of synchronicity with them.
I admit that this is a very curious fact which throws a peculiar light on the structure of the human mind.
What I miss in astrological literature is chiefly the statistical method by which certain fundamental facts could be scientifically established.
Hoping that this answer meets your request, I remain, Yours sincerely, ”

https://www.military.com/daily-news/2018/02/09/low-discipline-new-soldiers-prompts-army-redesign-basic-training.html
Major General Malcolm Frost: “The U.S. Army will drop its hand grenade competency requirement for graduation from basic training because getting recruits to pass it is taking ‘too much time’ and they’re just not strong enough.”
“What we have found is it is taking far, far too much time. It’s taking three to four times as much time … just to qualify folks on the hand grenade course than we had designated so what is happening is it is taking away from other aspects of training.”
Also, recruits just aren’t strong enough to throw the grenade far enough away – and simply can’t be taught to properly throw a grenade “if they haven’t thrown growing up”
“We are finding that there are a large number of trainees that come in that quite frankly just physically don’t have the capacity to throw a hand grenade 20 to 25 to 30 meters. In 10 weeks, we are on a 48-hour period; you are just not going to be able to teach someone how to throw if they haven’t thrown growing up.”
That was good, Corbett is a very clear thinker.
I can recommend all the books mentioned by him but for those who are not too bookish there are some more accessible ones:
‘Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing’ and ‘Snakes in Suits’ both written by US mental health professionals, I believe.
Of course the wisest thing to do is to put some distance between oneself and such a person and not get entangled–easy to say but difficult to do sometimes.
In studies all professional classes figure highly in the statistics, clerics being prominent near the top percentage wise— not that I have anything against clerics in particular, just specific individuals I have come across.

Iranian passenger plane with 66 people crashes midflight, airline says no survivors
https://www.rt.com/news/419129-iranian-plane-passengers-crashes/
American Eagle flight 4184, Oct 31, 1994, Indy to Chicago was in a holding pattern over northern Indiana in severe icing conditions and spiraled into a crop field near Roselawn Indiana. It was an ATR 72 which has very narrow high lift wings that quickly can lose “lift” in those conditions. An acquaintances son was aboard. The crash site is about 80 miles north of my home. 68 people died. The first reports I heard about the Iranian plane crash spoke of poor weather conditions. After the Roselawn crash several airlines shifted their ATR 72’s to southern routes to avoid icing conditions. Not long after “Roselawn” my wife, son, and I were on an ATR 72 taxiing at Chicago for flight to Indy. We had been de-iced 3 times and the plane looked like a Xmas ornament when we started taxiing to the runway. There was a spontaneous mutiny of most of the passengers with some threatening to open the doors and jump onto the runway. Wife was in tears as well as many others. After a tense standoff we returned to the gate amid cheers. A one way car rental to Indy cost me $350 for 150 miles in terrible conditions.
Although I know that the Zionist entity has and will continue to “down” planes when it meets their needs, this may well have been an unfortunate accident. God rest their souls.
Why would the pilots agree to fly without de-icing their plane first? They must know better than anyone the dangers of flying with ice accumulation on the wings.
They are under pressure from the bosses, maybe, to take a chance rather than lose money by aborting the flight.
Theoretically, it’s the pilots decision but everyone is subject to pressure in the face of losing their jobs.
Airlines get fined and could lose their slots for cancelling flights also.
Proud nobility doesn’t feed the kids or pay for the roof over your head.

How Damaged Is Chancellor Angela Merkel by the Supply of German Submarines to Israel?
https://www.globalresearch.ca/how-damaged-is-chancellor-angela-merkel-by-the-supply-of-german-submarines-to-israel/5629583
“As if this was not threat enough to Europe and the world, Netanyahu’s lawyers were able to play upon German national guilt by persuading Chancellor Angela Merkel to take the unilateral decision to supply Israel’s navy with a fleet of German-subsidised, Dolphin-class submarines built by a Thyssen Krupp shipyard, which were subsequently retrofitted by the Israelis with nuclear cruise missiles, having a range of over 1500kms. (The distance from, say, off-shore Marseilles in the Mediterranean to Potsdamer Platz in Berlin City Centre).
That nuclear-armed, submarine fleet is now assumed to be secretly patrolling both the Mediterranean and the Arabian Gulf and arguably poses the greatest threat to Europe since WW2: the factual position being that nuclear-armed, Israeli submarine-launched, cruise missiles (SLCMs) could reach and conceivably wipe-out a great swathe of EU member states, other than possibly those in the Baltic or Scandinavia, leaving Europe virtually defenceless against such a surprise attack.”
Most assume israel’s 100s of nukes are aimed at their Muslim neighbors. That assumption is a mistake.

Telecom Execs With Ties to Israeli PM Busted as Corruption Scandal Unfolds
https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201802181061783597-israel-bezeq-netanyahu-corruption/
“The detainees include Communications Ministry Director General Shlomo Filbert, who is accused of handing confidential documents to Bezeq to add to the company’s favorable treatment and provide positive media coverage of Netanyahu.
Police also nabbed Shaul Elovitch, the controlling shareholder of Bezeq, who is suspected of communicating with the Israeli Prime Minister.
Right now, Netanyahu faces charges of accepting expensive gifts from wealthy supporters, in the form of cigars, champagne and jewelry in return for advancing their interests.
The second investigation looks into allegations that Netanyahu arranged to obtain favorable coverage from the popular newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth in return for creating problems for its rival, the Israel Hayom paper.
Additionally, the Israeli Prime Minister may be accused of alleged involvement in a multimillion dollar submarine deal with German shipbuilder ThyssenKrupp. Netanyahu vehemently denies any wrongdoing, claiming that he is the victim of a smear campaign launched by his political opponents.”
This unsavory lot has not claimed the usual Russian meddling/hacker canard zionazis use to try and cover their fly speckled arses, though netanyahoo has used the traditional fascist/right wing tactic of claiming having been framed in a “leftist plot”.

Does anyone seriously believe Russia and Israel aren’t allies?”
Yes. I dont’. At least, not in the way you are implying.
I think you either dont know a thing about statesmanship, about how to manipulate your country around a very dangerous situation, about the Modus Operandi of getting what you want in the manner advocated by Sun Tzu, (Removed attack on fellow poster,MOD).
Putin has made sure Russia is treading carefully, by being on good terms, trading and culturally, with everyone in the Middle East. He takes visits from Saudi Arabia Kings, too. And when Israel was getting dangerous with Syria, it was Putin who made a phone call to Nutty Yahoo, and the provocations stopped.
‘Putin is driving the US out of the Middle East, and Russia is becoming the manager, the go-to country, the one holding the levers and reigns.
You dont do that by picking fights with people. You do it by getting alongside, and then changing things from the inside.(Removed attack on fellow poster,MOD)
Yes, Russia doesn’t say “Either you are with us or you are against us!” It’s not the USA.
Sometimes – I do wonder exactly what qualifies as “attack on fellow poster”. ??
Ceiling a bit low in this Cafe’ perhaps?

Yeah, and not just the cafe. I’ve hit my head on the ceiling beams in several of the other rooms lately.
Isabella, are yo uhaving problems to read Fort Russ comments section?
I recalled you as regular there seme time ago.
I have not been able to read them since yesterday afternoon…
Anyone with the same problem?
I am asking here since a site soemtimes linked here by commenters, I can not read nor post there right now…
I get major interference problems on that site, just trying to read it. Which is a shame, but so it goes.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whqTIENXEKg
I don’t have any problems reading them A. but I am blocked from commenting there. I dont know for sure why – I have a suspicion it might be because I have posted comments giving reasons why I believe the term “Eurasia” is dangerous, stupid, and should not ever be used in relations to Russia – and Fort Russ is party to another site which calls itself “Eurasia Archives”. I was banned once before, but Mr. Flores apologised and asked me to start to comment again. I had a lot of difficulty and ended up having to use my full name, get a new Disqus ID etc. I can’t be bothered arguing over it again. Laterly FR has banned a lot of good people, one man posting as Daniel had posted very good comments for years. He has no idea why he was banned. But i do read their articles still.

Hmm
Should we be concerned over western powers taking such an “interest” over and approximate to Belarus that the government feels neccesary to once again declare the importance of its relationships with Russia….?
The Empire would be very happy to see that a Russian-Turkish pipeline is never built. What better way than to accomplish this than to encourage Turkey to invade Greece:

Looks like it is game time: Turks attack SAA inside Syria
https://www.almasdarnews.com/article/breaking-turkish-army-unleashes-massive-artillery-attack-across-afrin-deter-syrian-army-intervention/
I am a bit confused about this story, some say it is the Syrian Army who took this initiative, others say that only a fraction who supports the Syrian Army, or so called pro-regime forces. Who are they ? And what is their ultimate strategy, to make the YPG to join the Syrian Army and abandon the US support in exchange for autonomy (which they had before-returning to the peaceful past) ? Anyway, it is getting more confused, playing with such tough cards, raising the possibility for a battle with the Turks, which side will take US and what will do Russia, Iran and other well known players in the region ? The Turkish prime-minister has made some strong statements : ” if pro-regime forces defend YPG terrorists, nothing and nobody will stop the Turks” …from what ? from declaring war (or without) against the Syrian State ? I won’t be surprised if new changes and developments will come.

German Bundeswehr Tornados cannot fly at the moment, as there is too much biodiesel in the kerosene.
I swear I am not actively looking for these stories, it’s just one after the other.

The Serbs have arrested a Pindo-Ukrop spy team inside Serbia
“…two Americans and two Ukrainians attempted to take video footage of the building, which houses Serbia’s Military Intelligence Agency (VOA) and the Military Security Agency (VBA).
Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin said that members of Military Police on Sunday and Monday detained a total of eight foreign nationals.”
Interestingly tass carrying report of usa complaints of joint serbian russian humanitarian aid coordination centre being “full of spies” Lavrove repudiates in his normal manner.
But is sort of thing usa might do perhaps….?

The Trump Base and Year 2
https://dissidentvoice.org/2018/02/the-trump-base-and-year-2/
“The main one, rather bluntly, is: how does this Base still persist? Really, there is no good reason for Trump to have a base any wider than the slim top of the wealth pyramid that he so blatantly represents. After all, in the broad spectrum of more modern right-wing populism — from a Thatcher to a Hitler — most had a modicum of lower-class personal pedigree that allowed some identification from rank-and-file followers. But there’s no such thing here, not even some sappy “rags-to-riches” myth — just inherited wealth, shrewd business dealings and pure, unabashed Veblenian “conspicuous consumption”, Mar-a-Lago style. This question is even starker in this post-Great Recession era when Reaganesque neoliberal fairy tales have lost most currency. Furthermore, these 15 months (just since the election, with many more before) of continuous faux pas, scandal and turmoil are objectively discrediting. Finally, this administration has by now really shed most of its “anti-establishment” veneer, revealing openly pro-elite, anti-public core policies. So, why has the Base not disintegrated yet? What is it in the Trump brand and message that actually still resonates with some broad segments of the proverbial “99%”? And what will it take to change that?
There are certainly no simple answers here, but we might turn for some clues to president’s apologist Newt Gingrich, who commented the day after the infamous January 11 immigration vulgarities:
Trump relies on the fact that his opponents are so nihilistic and elitist that they’ll react hysterically to something like this. […] And [Trump’s] base isn’t remotely corroded by this. Almost anything he does that is outside the establishment resonates in the end with people who say, well, at least he’s sticking it to the powerful.
Please parse this carefully. Ignoring details and exaggerations, it does accurately reveal the basic play: regardless of the ostensible recipient, Trump’s communication is mostly aimed at the Base: cementing at the core, extending around the edges. There is no need to cozy up to Republican party establishment. By now, they have no choice but to fall into line. No need to harangue the moneyed elites. They’ll be getting their payback and they know it. And no need bothering to soften up outright opponents. The message is targeted at reaffirming his populist brand directly, and even more so by eliciting predictable opposition reaction that reinforces that.
There is nothing particularly original about this age-old approach of divide-and-conquer. It was quite prominent in the US even in the post-Civil War era and ensuing Gilded Age. Among many others, Robert Reich articulated its pitfalls in his 1997 resignation speech. More recently, in her excellent latest book, “No is Not Enough – Resisting Trump’s Shock Politics and Winning the World We Need”, meticulously analyzing this kind of multilevel shock therapy, Naomi Klein states:
In truth, nothing has done more to build our present corporate dystopia than the persistent and systematic pitting of working-class whites against Blacks, citizens against migrants, and men against women.
In the present context, this generally might mean: Stop playing the Trump game and falling for his tricks, provocations and divisiveness. Stop being reactive. A sensible resistance should start defining its own frame and game.”
May add to this later.
VT, Do you sometimes do that, or did you mean to post that, as Anonymous ? It has happened on this thread often, and I would love to see mod restrictions to this.
Mundo that poem of your is really good, and your point is noted.
Cheers,

Is this a troll? It doesn’t make sense otherwise. Anyway, if you don’t like my comments, don’t read them. Trying to have the mods censor my comments is a very well worn zionazi tactic to control the narrative.
mod-to note: Very clearly this is the best response possible. As all is well in hand with moderation control, we can now conclude this thread.
