I just finished listening to the hour and a half interview with Sheikh Imran Hosein in Trinidad, who is a friend of Saker. I enjoyed his world view of things. He is a broad and deep thinker, who combines personal ‘insight’ with critical thinking. I resonate with much of what he says, but not all. Vive la difference. He says there should be a center to our thought. Here in cafeland, our center appears to be stopping Empire, a negative proposition that engenders many positive solutions. It would be interesting to have Sheikh participating here.

I hope amarynth is right about all the nyet naysayers to Empire. It’s a hopeful view and we need that. I am less optimistic but that may be due to my conditioning. To me, the ‘basic’ habits of humans have not changed one iota for at least 5000 years; there have been many changes in surface phenomena but virtually none in essential matters.

I would cite examples but they are so counter-cultural that they elicit immediate irrational backlash, which does none of us any good. Besides, mention of them often violates unwritten rules on sites that have their own customs to keep, for good reason in this trolling age.

Empires have been around for ages. There is a reason they haven’t disappeared and that is that Empires are parasites on a fundamentally good humanity but have infected the species with viral parasites like themselves. Empire knows all the tricks of the trade in maintaining its power. The confirmation of this is that virtually nobody understands the causes of how we support Empire unknowingly. If some causes are even hinted at, they receive the backlash I spoke about. We have introjected the Empire into our system like an autoimmune disease and have been programmed to reject cures and accept lures.

Empires change their colors like chameleons and are almost impossible to spot. They put up strawmen and red herrings like the US-Israel axis or Anglo-Zionism which do not touch the ingrained and corrupted part of human nature, beyond accepted platitudes. Until we do look deeper, we will suffer Empires of changing stripes. The new Empire represented by Russia and China with obor connectivity and multipolarity is just the latest “hope.” Maybe it is more than hope, but I am skeptical.

For one thing, I don’t think we understand how deep Israel’s historical and business connections are to Russia and China. We investigate this with kid gloves. Why? Is it that hot a potato? Is it the third rail that we dare not touch? Is it that Israel is more powerful than we can imagine? Especially sensitive is the fact of all the Jewish Russians in Israel, said to be running the high tech industry.

In terms of Empire, there are layers upon layers of lies; and veils behind veils of deception that go back thousands of years. And we’re not even talking about the origins of humanity and its early contamination of power machinations that did not yet reach the Empire stage. How did humans fall? The Jewish bible and ancient myths explain it in their terms. I don’t trust the Jewish rendition and the myths are too culturally specific and tainted. I need a general exposition that makes sense. I have my own that makes sense to me; but as I said, it’s too radical to elaborate on in polite, public company.

The first link in the question of Noah’s Ark is to the website: “Esoteric Meanings.” The second link is to an article entitled: “A Mystical interpretation of Noah’s Ark.” The third link is from a “researcher and revealer of hidden, esoteric knowledge,” who applies his skills to Noah and his Ark.

These interpretations are all mystical and esoteric. Other interpretations offer reasonable and scientific exegesis of biblical stories that do not rely on hidden esotericism. We can choose one or the other, or both. I find the reasonable and practical ones equally compelling as the hidden and esoteric.

This question is moot anyway. Here’s a lead-off header on a first hit from a search for a reason based interpretation:
