If the route is changed the delay could be longer than a year.

The Danish Energy Agency on Wednesday requested that the company look into a completely new route to pass its pipeline through the country’s waters. Denmark is the last country that needs to approve a construction permit for Nord Stream 2 — a 1,200-kilometer pipeline already under construction.

Hi. I’m playing catch up; been mia, hiding in the bushes and licking my empire wounds. They still hurt; some are very old, even ancient, and show up as bad dreams and inner demons. Still I am soldiering on, first with the articles and then cafe coffee klatch comments later.

Ukraine has elections. I wouldn’t have guessed it. Ollie nails it with the billboard wars. One of the anons implied Ukraine was a chip off the US block, which is in a verbal war, not yet at the billboard stage. Poor Ukraine is a canary in the Empire mine, but what can we do?

Maria Zakharova on Mueller is a delightful and intelligent wit, a serious contretemps to Fox News and 60 Minutes; copycat to some degree but she’s ‘foxier.’ Her American counterparts sit at tables, as if they’ve something under the table. She stands free, playing Beauty to their Beast. The only fly on the screen is Russia’s tepid response to the Trump Golam Deal. Even Russians can’t stop their eyeballs from playing ball with Tsar Donald.

Pepe doubles down with a bow to China from the EU and USrael regarding “Sino-globalization,” with its gobbling and galloping bri. Growth, growth and more growth — isn’t that called cancer? Not satisfied with rails on the ground, we will add the New Silk Air with China gobbling up the airspace with China Air planes.

Xi visited the Monaco gambling Casino, going full bore 5G toxicity of air waves. If you can’t see Israel behind the chips, you need to have your specs checked. One of the anons quoted China as disavowing backdoors in its cellphones; if you believe that, I have a bridge in Brooklyn for you to buy.

Osama ben Laden’s son is now scarecrow leader of the terrorists. Pepe blames it on Trump. Sound familiar? Pepe is a colorful writer; he uses China red ink and asks leading questions like:

“Is this the Age of Anxiety? The Age of Stupidity? The Age of Hybrid War? Or all of the above?”

He misses the main one, that this is the Age of Theater, with China a major actor and himself a minor correspondent for China, with Trump de rigueur Bad Boy Antagonist. The Real Deal Empire flies under the pepe, peeping, peking radar, without taking Faking Scarecrow for Empire Man. The Grand Narrative is not written in small print but on the wailing wall.

Pepe is writing a reasonable script according to the tastes of his audience but misses the major author. What if it turns out Trump has been sabotaging Empire Plans all along and Mueller style will be vindicated? Could it happen in the unpublished script? If something appears to be too good or bad to be true, it probably is — in a “hybrid war” of information. The Empire of Chaos is a cover for a well planned Empire of Evil.

A couple a articles went up while I was writing this cafe’s summary conversation. Maria Z. does an encore, this time without the “Made in the USA” stage setting but straight talk from a script. Maria is cystal clear about the law; but since when does the law matter in power politics? Nevertheless, Russia is taking the high moral ground which is powerful indeed.

Interesting that a video clip over Maria showed a reasonable Trump willing to be friends; so is Donald actually the Good Guy surrounded by Baddies as Bro maintains? When the Nobels are presented by the Nobles, and the longer script known, will Trump received the Noblesse Prize; or share it with Putin and Xi for the Good Russia, Bad America Novel? Reporter Zakharova will let us know with style and grace.

Maria segues into Libya and how the West liberated that poor country; but wait, Trump did it all. Boo. I’d love to see Maria debate Donald; but it wouldn’t be fair because ‘ladies’ man’ that he isn’t, she’d charm him with her spellbinding attractions.

Ramin charms us with Pulp Fiction and the Mueller Report. Like Pepe, I think Ramin misses the real scripts behind a Pulp Fiction world, as distraction with the latest attraction to keep us off the scent of the money trail. I’m not gainsaying Ramin’s brilliant writing; I imitate it, it sparkles with truth but not the whole truth, or something closer to it. Yes, a partial goal was to demolish the Demoncrats in 2020 so they can rise again later as saviors, but that’s just moving the goal posts on the same sloping field.

As far as defeating Empire goes, we’ve got to dig deeper than Generations X, Y, Z and A, B, C to Reality which is Ageless and regrettably seems Defenseless against Empire. I don’t despair since the Love Army is waiting in the theater wings.

Ramin deserves a better reading by me but time is wasting and at 79 I haven’t much left before my brain turns to pulp fiction; so better post this post haste. This latest Mazaheri is a “must read” though for all my shallow observations; time permitting I’ll give it re-read for literary pleasure and the planetary plan, shallow that it be. He reads America so well I’d swear he’s part American.

    But simple means “onefold”, undivided, all number folded into one form. That is why it is so incredibly difficult to achieve true simplicity, particularly in art, as in potential it contains the All.
    
    Nature is simple and manifests boundless complexity at the same time. Nature is true wealth, hence the race for dominion, the envy, the rape of mother earth.

      This is a very concise look at the artist’s problem. Thanks for putting it so clearly, Ras. It seems we begin with simplicty ( nature ) then move through an inordinate complexity ( the mind ) before finally finding simplicty at “the bottom of all things”. But achieving that simplicity in our work can be and is ( usually ) a journey that takes us some time, at least in my case.

Like it or not fungible, widely recognized means of exchange….whether the hated Petro-Dollar or the yuan….or even “Bitcoin” (The are 3 bitcoin variants which still share characteristics of THE first Bitcoin: 1) BTC 2) BCH ABC …and 3) BSV) in other words MONEY plays a significant role in human affairs of any large scale societies anywhere on this planet……and those means of exchange may change dramatically….but the subject just can’t realistically be avoided completely.

The old forms of the past century (fiat ) are NOT in good shape presently and might die and be swept aside faster than vinyl records and turntables.

It would be rather daft under those circumstances not to even consider the strongest contenders among “The Internet Of Money” options….therefore, because of personal tastes or distastes in regard to technical words of description used, such a “block” or “chain”.

(But part of what makes Dennis so simultaneously annoying and sympathetic is his 100% incapacity and indeed, unwillingness to even try to get outside of his own skin, identity and prejudices and look at ANYTHING today, in a way that he hasn’t looked at it for a long, long time. How VERY human!)

And that’s so typical of human beings generally, not just Dennis: Whether they like the word “block” or hate it……a majority are stubborn blockheads most of the time.

From what I can gather it is quite possible that Craig Wright is trying to rescue HIS (and very few others’) pet project….known as “Bitcoin”….the very first crypto- currency and he MAY have solid reasons that fully justify his difficult behavior:

Despite the dynamism and stupid instant wealth many “even earlier than now” persons experienced being “in the right place at the right time” with various crypto-currency projects, he’s apparently looking down on it all, from above it all, in a sense, and saying “You’re ruining it, you are screwing it up!….and I am NOT going to allow that to happen!”....and despite some people’s satisfaction with BCH or ETH or EOS or any number of others they may enjoy or be WAY up on…….from the shoes he’s standing in that’s all NOTHING….peanuts to him.

Nothing, because the pace of adoption as The Killer App….Money slowed to a crawl and the technical people like himself do not give a rat’s ass about anyone’s ego from getting in BTC at $200 with a thousand of them and having a few million dollars net worth today. WHO CARES??, says he, if adoption of something of great utility to billions of others of the world’s “unbanked” bogs down and DIES…about your good feelings of thinking for a few years that you are rich..or “enjoying the crypto-space”..

That’s not HIS mission, by a long, long shot. He does NOT care about it, and that offends people that do care about what they have gotten out of it…..which makes them feel pretty smart ….and deserving….and then this “PILL” comes along and disses them!

So, Short of proof of any terrible intent at clear odds with his stated mission…..I can respect that and say that, as a beginner, I don’t YET buy….that he is at ALL crazy…….because such an overarching global vision DOES trump even millions of “feelings” such as amarynth’s sincerely expressed ones………….simply because the benefits to BILLIONS…..of persons outweigh the benefits to a few millions….always AND forever after.

Just “DO the MATH”.

Meanwhile, the wonderful thing about the internet, is its connectivity and the capacity for a person like myself or many others reading to get right in the living rooms and offices of the people fighting and figuring all of this stuff out.

I think Colin is the BCH guy in the orange T-Shirt….whereas the BSV proponent is Connor.

Now these guys are smart, and talking over my head, but I understand enough of it, to pick up on HOW Connor thinks versus Colin…….and I am definitely more impressed with Connor. Much more of a Big Thinker, IMHO….and no doubt, a much smoother, likable more diplomatic proponent than Craig Wright!

Then a third crypto dude joins in…and it is all very intimate and revealing of what makes these guys tick. And they are very civil and respectful of each other……and UNITED….in their contempt for “Bitcoin Core”……what they DO agree upon….that almost ruined Bitcoin…and certainly slowed it down for years.

They just disagree on how to save it, now.

But the interesting thing to me—-since I can neither ruin it NOR save it is this:

Not long ago I thought BTC……Digital Gold….the Store of Value “won”.

Now I am intrigued by the fact that long term (10 years??) it may be gone……and either BSV….or BCH…..either today, huge bargains compared to BTC at $4100 per BTC ……BSV or BCH…….may be the ONLY Bitcoin version still standing.

And they are both smart, but Connor is the sharper of the two, IMHO

It all depends on rate and extent of adoption as “The Killer App: Money” ……and there BTC is weak, weak, weak …….and probably hugely overrated..except for another Bull Run or two next few years…..but longer term….Vulnerable to being flipped on its back…..and KILLED

And these three friends on the BSV/BCH divide are pretty much agreed,,,that in time……through that “killer App” being adopted significantly more, globally….one of the two of those will rise and remain……and BTC….will sink into oblivion.

A very noticable problem in the crypto community is that few understand what it is to run a business. I am not with the dystopian ideologues – but in the trenches where the people are running businesses, developing usable applications, making the user interface easier and working on adoption for everyone, from Africa to Venezuela, From Russia to the South Pole, in order to unbank the banked.

Let me give you a topical example. There is always screaming coming from some quarters in the US that remittances should be stopped. Somehow, they don’t understand that they want to control the way that people spend their money. If a legal immigrant to the US has a job, and takes some of their paycheck to support their family in another country, there is nothing wrong with that. In fact, I do it – with a older family member in another country. But to prescribe (and I think this will become front and center very soon now – Trump is hungry for cash) how people can spend their money, is what a cryptocurrency is designed to avoid.

The power balance shifts to taking personal responsibility, instead of giving a state the responsibility – because as we know, they are not on our side. The Bitcoin Cash community stood together and did some massive development in Venezuela to get each and every business to be able to transact in Bitcoin Cash. They spent much money on this, from the Cash community. Now, that is what a crypto is designed for. To get us free from state interference and bank siphoning off by fees, and UN-censorable in our money affairs so that when alternative voices get deplatformed, or when the sanctions fly, the people are not bankrupted as well.

We need to be very awake in this sphere. Let us also not go stupid and vapid here – we all use money – it is a fact of life and we may as well do it cleverly while we are in this sphere.

I read that video very different. The 2 BCH guys simply did not tear a strip of the BSV fellow. They followed a reasonable path and did not pick up any of the gauntlets thrown at them … not even one – in order to have a friendly conversation. For that, they have my admiration, because I could not have been so pragmatic.

But it is a good thing that you climb into the details. It is hard when one does not get the technicals – so, hattip to you.

In the BSV fellow, I hear ideologue core talk – clearly. Like I said previously, I don’t trust the current core-BSV love affair. Same old same old ‘lambo’ and ‘when moon’ and ‘we’re gonna own the world’ bullnonsense arguments.

Here is another thing, which you may not have picked up on ideologically on the BSV side. I’ll give it to you in a mangled quote:

Not many people talk about Quantum Computing yet and it is such a major change, that I am truly struggling to get my head around it as conceptually I find it very difficult (probably too much to unlearn).

The arguable concepts of today will be swept of the table and a whole new set will appear.

In 10 years time we will *not* be arguing which is the real Bitcoin.

We may see more splits and that is a good thing. The more the merrier, the more people working on this the better and the more open source the community the better for all of us at the end of the day.

There is a harsh reality at the other end of the extreme capitalist and the anarchist bell curve where nChain finds itself – and it is not a pretty one. It is one of control. One coin cannot do it. One coin is one world currency, and is extremely dangerous.

– BSV – nChain is a company responsible to their shareholders of which there is one main one and they want to build product and play in the current financial ecosystem. They do not have adoption in the marketplace of people. Humans don’t use BSV – at best a few traders trade it to and fro and I know of one business only that moved across – there may be one or two more. Like I said before, I cannot use it and object to their own so-called open source license on certain initiatives only .. https://nchain.com/en/open-bsv-license/

– BCH – Bitcoin Cash is not a company and is responsible to their users, their developers, their broader community and their own stated objective and they have major adoption in the marketplace and continuing. I can use it. Today, this is my coin of choice in the Bitcoin offerings, with a few others. Tomorrow things may change. Even Bitcoin Gold is still hanging out there on coinmarketcap.

– BTC – Core is going toward a settlement vehicle, where countries or massive transactions may use it as a settlement methodology where cost and time is not so critical. Their stated objective is outside of the realm of an ordinary person – hence, I don’t use it much if at all – too focused on perpetuating the shenanigans of the rich for my blood.

This is all true today, but tomorrow is another story. In 6 months from now, we may have changed from what I said today.

But one hears mostly silence. The Washington Establishment clearly believes that one can and should condemn Russia without any evidence, but one cannot investigate or even challenge a Secretary of State who believes that he is receiving his guidance directly from God.”

I concur with Ahmed, here in Europe we don’t have Evangelical Christians as such a powerful lobby than in the US, we have the usual Catholic and various forms of reformed Catholics, who still have their beliefs dated back to centuries. The Orthodox Christians are doing very well among other Christian religions here in Europe, despite the fact – which is well-known by many of our European friends here – since the fall of the Soviet Union, many US organisations are doing their evangelical preaches everywhere, with less and less success. There are some Christian sects who are preaching similar things as in the US (not by coincidence, their headquarters are in US) but they don’t have a visible traction as well. From this point of view, Europe is a hard nut to crack. Guys, I still believe in a common Europe because of our common history with all her painful and hard lessons gained history. Even if the EU as it is now, will cease, another form to keep it (a united Europe), is a logical necessity. Russia, cannot be avoided, it is part of the same European cultural heritage with her natural ties in Central and Far east Asia. To make things more pleasurable for you Ahmed, the Arab countries, or better the Arab world had many interactions with Europe during history – both negative and positive – which have contributed to the overall benefit of both cultures. Man always learns his lessons on his own skin, do we not ?

  My first job was for a management consulting firm (not McKinsey but of the same type) – it destroyed my wellbeing entirely. I had naively thought it would be a good “grounding” in business. It was more like selling my soul.
  
  This type of business model operates on the basis that their client company management abdicates responsibility for any decisions to the “good advice of the consulting company” but at the same time the consultant never bears the accountability for the operational implementation. So, no one ends up being responsible if/when things go wrong.
  
  Here is a very incomplete list of firms of similar type:
  – Bain and Company, Mercer, Monitor Group, McKinsey and Co,
  – most of the large audit firms also have a business consulting division,
  – some of the business process outsourcing firms have a business consulting division.
  – There are also consulting firms with specific industry foci.

You have, I think, looked into that idea more than I, but when some time ago I looked into that idea of the dual/switcheroo, I came away with the same idea. NorNickel the Russian producer of Nickel and Palladium has announced that it will develop blockchain technology to tokenize these two metals and by this summer its exploratory research may be accomplished and implementation scheduled for year end. This will allow for example, purchasers of such assets as Nickel and Palladium from NorNickel, whose customers suddenly cut back on purchases, to more easily and efficiently sell off the unwanted excess inventory more quickly using cryptocurrencies, in the future, Paul explains.

The technology also will be able to track inventory at a fraction of the cost of.current methods, he asserts.

Additionally NorNickel has announced a project to develop blockchain technology for protection of intellectual property and will even use tokenization within its own divisions in a way that will allow the Russian Central (National??? I wonder…that should be the goal…right??) Bank to smooth NorNickel’s operations within its many divisions and test new Russian Law for regulation of cryptocurrencies within NorNickel without risk.of adversely affecting the rest of the Russian economy, because of unforeseen problems or errors of design.

Weather war, climate war, call it what you may like, weather apparently plays a role in the modern paradigm of planetary conquest. Much talk regarding global drought, floods, and manipulations of crops is bandied-about both here and at large—there is consensus of sorts, that the sky is daily being dusted by drone-craft over much of the planet now, and that it’s so widespread, and fairly ubiquitous that it’s now taken for granted to see whispy checkerboarded cloud-decks.
What’s the goal? What’s the end?
The US has seen record flooding this season along the central and midWestern States, and this heavy-handed weather is continuing unabated for now. The skies in California are either cloudy or chemtrailed, never blue, and there has not been a clear day all year; and as their weather precedes the East, the dust spiked skies impact further along, somewhere in the heartland.
Yet California is not immune to floods, as its capital city is the greatest flood risk left in the nation—considering New Orleans has already “popped”. Sacramento sits in the heart of a great inland former seabed, now at sea-level, this, the Great Valley, drains through an inland delta! —a fairly unique occurrence; and from the delta, out into the San Francisco Bay.
In past times, Sacramento flooded repeatedly, and it was at those times obvious that the Great Valley was also a great inland sea in potential. Presently the not too poor denizens live in the blissful ignorance of a levee-shaded stupor, admiring generally the massive snow-capped peaks of the Sierra mountain range, serenely looming. Floods are not uncommon there in that land, but as of a grand scale as in yesteryears, not so much. This present season is significant in the tremendous snowfall collected in the mountains, on the whole, it eclipses nearly every year on record, in that the entire state has seen goodly precipitation in quantity.
Forecast to come is greater rain and snow still, the weather is not relenting yet, and the clouds are still being die-cast by global hawk autonomous drones. The end goal isn’t known, but needless to say it’s not fortune telling to predict the dice when they’re weighted for “snake-eyes” everytime.

Re Sacramento and infrastructure decay: The Dim Democrats who run the state have allowed an incompetently run PG&E to create devastating Forest fires (last year)along with blowing up urban areas (San Bruno 5years ago ). This is to say nothing about the poorly managed dam and aquifers. The county and city inspectors at least are out 24 x 7 on levee watch during the stream and river flood tide times during the spring . Hopefully there will be no mass evacuations (Yuba city-Marysville) this year.

It is the local folks that are keeping what functions at all still functioning. But not for long as we are told that we must import more and more immigrants so that they can gratefully vote for the party of the New world Order and save the planet from not them but us.
