What follows is some food for thought regarding the stand-off and escalating tensions at the border between Gównopolska and Belarus.
The whole thing is actually quite a convoluted story except that Belarus and Lukashenko are rightly giving the despicable Poles two most valuable lessons: Firstly, don’t meddle in Southwest Asia unless you want migrants from there as your due reward. Secondly, do stay out of any silly “regime change” horseshit in a neighbouring country where the government has a groundswell of support at home and Russia’s support internationally. You Polaks will only be frustrated by the outcome like so many times in the past.
Less straightforward are the dynamics at play between the rest of the EU and Gównopolska. Forget about the EU’s preposterous media stunts with all their “holy wrath”; they amount to nothing except the art of spouting pre-fabricated tripe. Anyway, the Poles are not just greedy hyenas — they’re dead serious seeing themselves as the indispensable guardians of the West (and the Poles’ messiaic delusions are no secret tp Lukashenko). So the Poles went apeshit because they saw the migrants as a threat to “Latin Christianity”, not in Poland primarily but in their Holy Land of Western Europe. And now the Poles are wailing and crying because they do know one true thing about the EU which accidentally works to their advantage: The Euro-trash absolutely hates Lukashenko and the people of Belarus, especially now that the Union State is becoming a reality. By contrast, what the Poles are highly unlikely to get into their skulls is that the Euro-trash actually doesn’tt perceive the migrants as any threat. They are a calculated, intentional effect of imperialist lawlessness. Migrant torrents are a battering ram in the service of neoliberalism/globalization and created for that purpose.
Bottom line: I don’t think a big — or even a small — war is looming on the horizon. Belarus and Russia have what it takes to deal appropriately with the Poles’ stubbornness. The EU will “cave in” and, to the great chagrin of the Poles, accept the migrants as EU citizens.
Nussiminen
Those transiting thru Belarus to EU are on the Belarus side of the border.
Should they die or experience severe issues they become Belarus’s problem.
I know those transiting don’t want to stay in Belarus long term, but if they can’t move forward, they are going to seek shelter where they are.
Belarus may have created a large humanitarian problem for itself.
Of course the people seeking transit are the ones to feel for.
@White Whale
Yes, of course the migrants are the ones to feel for. They never asked the angelic EU, least of all any arrogant, incredibly stupid Poles, to come and ravage their countries (at the request of collapsing US imperialism). What is key here is that
a) Russia is backing up Belarus
b) The migrants have their eyes set on the EU
c) The EU correctly sees Russia/Belarus as the enemy to be defeated rather than the migrants. This is precisely what the glorious Sultan took advantage of in 2015 — Russia/Syria being the real problem in the eyes of the EU in that context. The EU was more than willing to help out their Turkish partner in crime. In hindsight, it seems it was part of the plot all along.
So by the aid of Russia, the migrants will eventually be settled somewhere in the You’re_a_peon Union (which will make the Poles just as unhappy). Germany is likely to ”cave in” again.
Euro Trash!!
Made this in 2015.

Yes – in the 1930s when this picture was made…
For those of you who missed it, there was an interesting conversation between Tucker Carlson of Fox News and Representative Turner regarding US support of Ukraine in light of a purported Russian military build up on the Ukrainian border.
While Turner espoused the standard neocon talking points (“We must support democracy/Putin is a dictator”, etc, etc), Tucker pushed back and asked why the USA should defend Ukraine’s border when they won’t even defend their own? It was classic Carlson and not to be missed IMO. He is the bravest journalist on mainstream TV.
He may be the bravest journalist on msm, but he played his part as ‘limited hangout’ just very perfectly.
(A limited hangout or partial hangout is, according to former special assistant to the Deputy Director of the Central Intelligence Agency Victor Marchetti, “spy jargon for a favorite and frequently used gimmick of the clandestine professionals. When their veil of secrecy is shredded and they can no longer rely on a phony cover story to misinform the public, they resort to admitting—sometimes even volunteering—some of the truth while still managing to withhold the key and damaging facts in the case. The public, however, is usually so intrigued by the new information that it never thinks to pursue the matter further.”)
Just as an interjection, China of course is the problem (Carlson)
He is not against deploying troops, he is just dickering as to where they should be deployed.
He did not even once ask Turner to support the statements that Russia had already crossed the border into Ukraine. If it was me, I would think Russia crossed the border with tanks making war already. TC just provided space for Turner to spout his lies.
He also said that he believes Russian forces are massed on the Ukrainian border.
I can say a bunch more, but let’s stop with the idea that Turner planted – TC does not know much about the Ukraine, and of course, more information is outstanding. Where will USA’ians get that more information?
This is a gross mischaracterization of what Tucker said. At no point did he call for US troop involvement against China but rather encouraged a kind of realpolitick in which Russia’s influence in the region could be used to help curb Chinese ambitions, IF the USA would at least engage with Russia in some meaningful diplomatic way that didn’t involve threats and coercion. Nor did Turner say that Russia had invaded Ukraine. What he said was Russia was massing troops on the border. That may or may not in fact be true, but it hardly matters given the stance that Carlson took on the matter, which was that the USA should in no way wade into conflict over Ukraine with Russia.
Right in the beginning, around :15
Tucker Carlson: American analysists say that Russian troops are massing on the Ukrainian border and it appears to be true
Around :29
Turner: Tucker thank you so much for bringing attention to this issue ….
And then Tucker allows Turner to lay out the letter and the contents without saying one word. He just lets it all stand with a couple of soft ball questions — I don’t understand, he says a number of times to buy more time for Turner to spread his lying message.
Around 4:59
Tucker: Why would be against Russia instead of against China, which is the actual threat
Anyway .. I’m not going to listen again – that should be enough.
I took those from here:
http://www.womensystems.com/2021/11/gop-rep-turner-tucker-carlson-spar-over.html?m=0
Again, AT NO POINT did Turner say Russia had invaded Ukraine, as you indicated in your first response. AT NO POINT did Tucker suggest that the USA should use troops to deter China, which you also indicated in your first response.
Your statements were indeed “Gross mischaracterizations” of the actual conversation, which was a rare sparring session between a neocon and a non-interventionist. That is what makes Tucker so brave…he is actually on the side of the US minding its own business internationally. We could use more like him.
And to say that Tucker used “softball questions” in response? Well, that is certainly in the eye of the beholder, and I would suggest anyone that wants to know the truth of the matter should actually listen to and understand what was said without any preconceived notions.
This, from the perspective of someone outside of America, is a kindergarten. I have actually heard another analyst say the very same thing.
Here is it from the transcript: TURNER: Okay, so you have to understand this is not a Cold War. This is a Hot War. Russia has already invaded Ukraine and has taken Crimea and annexed it and militarized it. It’s not like we have somehow resolved that.
(What would an ordinary USA’ian without much knowledge think of that? Russia has already invaded the Ukraine.)
Somewhere else in that transcript: TURNER: You should be against, as I’m sure you are, Tucker, any country using tanks to invade another and putting their will on that country and changing that country’s border, that’s what they have done and that’s what they are doing.
Carlson is just pointing at China – he is not coming forward with a peaceful and anti-war stance. He is certainly not non-interventionist with his little dig at China. That is why I say he is just negotiating where to put troops. Trying to take Russia out of the ‘hot water’, he simply points at China. This is just a cheap deflection.
If Carlson knows the story, which I am very sure he does, he does his part to make the lie persist. Someone in the US needs to start understanding that in all its years of existence, there are only +- 20 years where the US was *not* at war.
I’m giving you the perspective of what those outside of the US read and see from that interview. This was a kindergarden and collusion to make the lie persist.
It is the US that is basically at war with the whole world (and by war I mean all the aspects, like economic, or trade, or IP, or technological, and so we go on). It is the US that has not stopped regime change operations. Take a look at Nicaragua just now, and the new onslaught on Cuba. Show me anyone on your media that actually says this.
The rest of this world is of course looking with dismay at the continual US (and EU) war provocations now playing near you in the Black Sea, in the South China Sea, around Russia in Belarus and the problems with the migrants, still with Iran, Israel still shooting into Syria every few days and the Donbas republics are being shot at regularly.
You say “he is just negotiating where to put the troops”, but what he actually said was he wanted the troops back home in the USA. You can try to twist that any way you want but putting troops in or near China was never even remotely discussed. Tucker pushed back rather forcefully against the idea of Ukraine intervention. A lot of people would celebrate that. I know I do. He’s the ONLY ONE doing it in the USA MSM.
Everything else you said has really nothing to do with the conversation between Carlson and Turner. Calling it a kindergarten conversation does not advance anyone’s understanding.
Good ol’ Erdogan has had a ”change of heart” (not). According to the MSM, Turkey has banned airliners bound for Minsk to take off from Turkish airports with migrants from Syria, Yemen, and Iraq. Ugly, stupid, pathetic stunts all along the line.
seems to be a lot going on…..USA Ships in Black Sea seem to want to send a message they are more masterful and threatening against Russia….USA trying to persuade EU to take enhanced actions concerning Ukraine(ie goading them on and probably deliberately misleading them) but saying it cannot release all their info yet(remembering their info for Russiagate was totally false in Steele Dossier and WMD of course)…… Poland becoming more right wing nationalistic as they showed in their celebration day and more militaristic so might have a real go against Belarus to test their recent upgrade with Russia….Russia warns of much increased flight activity and threatening actions by Nato as well as Ukrops against Donbass just after Burns visit to Russia and unusually spoke with Pres Putin(or maybe was trying to talk at him in american style)….just as Ukraine and USA have signed a new partnership support pact.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10192833/White-House-warns-Europe-prepare-Russian-INVASION-Ukraine-border-military-build-up.html
creating a scenario prior to justify their own intentions eg recent arms deliveries to Ukraine.. 2 small ships delivered the other day maybe for an Azov provocation?….
etc etc
Feels like a boil is going to burst…..but it must be suppurated somehow…..Lavrov is going to give France hell over lack of responsibility for dealing with Ze and Minsk and Normandy process……seems to ignore Merkel whilst their governmental issues are being sorted- who the heck there as politicians can be adjudged reliable anyways ?
oh UK troops are going to “build a wall with Polish troops”…uhuh ..sure? An excuse? Why UK troops not Baltics or EU….cos they are Nato USA stooges? Could they get included if Poland does something?
“Poland has announced it has struck a deal with the UK, calling in British troops to help with the construction of a fortified border wall along its eastern frontier with Belarus, as a row over illegal migration escalates.
On Friday, Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak issued a statement confirming that the two NATO member states would work together in an effort to prevent migrants from crossing over.”
https://www.rt.com/russia/540119-britain-deploy-troops-border-belarus/
Haha, this is Gównopolska in its full magnificent glory. Remember: The legendarily brave Poles are dead serious seeing themselves as the indispensable guardians of all things West. They believe that the Britzies feel deep gratitude because of this nonsense. Sadly, no matter how much the EU and the UK truly hate Lukashenko and the people of Belarus, they have a crass, business oriented view of the migrants. It will be fun when the stupid Polaks get ”betrayed” either by the EU or, better still, by the UK as the decision to accept at least a significant number of these migrants is taken eventually. To the West’s 99%, it will be easily sold as a peaceful rendition of the ”Right to Protect” hogwash.
How History does rhyme / see> https://youtu.be/MIk9ij8h19w (1961 a wall in Berlin )
I wonder how soon the new “Polish Jokes” will be heard…
>UK troops are going to “build a wall with Polish troops“.
Macabre. But I had an image of soldier bodies stacked wall high.
Perhaps I’m taking it too literally. But. Maybe not.

Do Not Weep
Though your songs are unspoken
Do not weep about the sun
Though it blinded your weary eyes
‘Cause it showed you to a different path
With beams from paradise
Do not weep my beautiful
Your candle is still burning
And I will make my loyal horse
Take your heavy burden
Do not weep my beautiful
‘Cause darkness is but fleeting
And you will wake up to a sunlit day
Where sunlight is ever greeting
Each hum, each breath, each heartfelt sigh
Can smooth your melancholy
Deep inside I do believe
You’ll find a peace so holy
Do not weep my beautiful
‘Cause darkness is but fleeting
And you will wake up to a sunlit day
Where sunlight is ever greeting

Spellbound
Spellbound I am, I am
The wizard has enchanted me,
enchanted me
Spellbound deep in my soul,
in my soul
In my heart burns a sizzling fire,
a sizzling fire
Spellbound I am, I am
The wizard has enchanted me,
enchanted me
Spellbound in my heart’s root,
my heart’s root
My eyes gaze to where

Thoughts about migrants and the process may properly include the rather mild (by the customs of to-day) presentation by Enoch Powell.

It’s also possible to listen to it and gather up the nuance. https://youtu.be/3MtIF6tw-Io
At duran.locals there’s a fella that speaks to the matter, again, mildly. This is also on YT> https://youtu.be/-N9BP4lQjdI
My own observation is that most US persons prefer to associate with people similar to themselves. This seems to me to be a normal human and also animal characteristic… At the same time most US persons are quite comfortable with “other” people – happy to work together and get along – so long as no party has more rights than another.

@ Anoxia, yesterday, a thrilling cop-chase on the cop-o-tronic radio. A fella driving a Kenworth (Class 8 diesel) having a bit of a wild ride, ramming cop and “civilian” cars, circling town, running through down-town and onto the interstate highway (going the wrong way!). And waving, pointing, a .45 automatic at some people… I assumed they’d shoot him. They captured the guy, but he did get bitten by the cop-dog. Pretty fair cops. The chase ran for about 30 minutes. I rather imagine they made room for him in the jail…which is very small. Nobody other than the desperado got even a scratch. The restraint shown by the cops was impressive. One cop-car got a flat tire… And the Kenworth got bashed up some.
Very, very few in the West will understand the significance of the historic resolution passed by the CPC at its most recent plenary session:
https://voxday.net/2021/11/12/the-4th-ideology/
This official declaration marks the completion of the rejection of the globalists that first became apparent in 2015, when Xi publicly declined to provide what was intended to be a symbol of Sino-Globo unity by giving the offspring of Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg an honorary Chinese name.

German engineer and economist Klaus Schwab was honored with the China Reform Friendship Medal at a conference celebrating the 40th anniversary of China’s reform and opening-up policy in Beijing on Tuesday.
In 1971, Schwab, founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum (WEF), started the annual meeting which drew numerous business, government and civil society leaders to the Swiss town of Davos to brainstorm solutions for global challenges.
In 1979, Schwab paid his first visit to China and started to involve China into the annual meetings, soon after China launched its reform and opening-up policy in 1978. Schwab said he was delighted about his engagement with China in the past four decades.
“Over the past 40 years, there have been many critics and pessimists, who always forecasted that China’s economic growth would come to an end, but they turned out to be wrong,” Schwab said in Tianjin ahead of the 2018 Summer Davos. “I remain optimistic,” he added.
In April 2018, Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Schwab and said China’s cooperation with the WEF had coincided with the country’s reform and opening-up process.
“The WEF takes pride in cooperation with China over the past 40 years,” Schwab said in the meeting, adding that the WEF was ready to improve long-term cooperation with China.
In January 2017, President Xi delivered a keynote speech at the WEF annual meeting on globalization, trade protectionism, climate change, development, and China’s economy. Schwab said Xi’s speech last year was impressive and highly appreciated by the world.
Some interesting message coming out of Belarus. It seems in response to EU threats of even more sanctions,Lukashenko, has said he might block the gas pipeline that supplies Europe with a major part of it’s gas imports. But then Putin “warns” Lukashenko, not to do that. Now I’m wondering if they are playing “good cop,bad cop” there. It seems to me,that Lukashenko’s threat,is a good thing. It wakes up the EU to see they are playing with fire, and Putin doesn’t have to be involved. He can be the savior there, and broker a new “Minsk” agreement, but on gas this time.If he really is serious, and is acting like the CEO of Gazprom instead of Russia’s President. Then that can be a real issue for the future.
https://www.rt.com/op-ed/540151-belarus-poland-border-migrants/
Of course Putin gave Lukashenko a slap for his nonsense comments re cutting off the gas.
Putin has spent the last six? weeks pacifying the European gas markets, reassuring supply, reiterating that across decades, even at the fever height of the Cold War Russia never once used gas supply as a weapon. Never even intimated they would.
Then dipshit Lukashenko mouths off.
The gas transiting Belarus does not belong to Lukashenko.
It’s Gasprom gas, purchased by contract, for delivery across the EU.
Belarus (like Ukraine) is paid profitable transit fees.
Belarus can peak over the border into Ukraine and see what being stupid buys you. The Ukrainians stole transiting gas for decades. NordStream2 was the Gazprom consortium response.
Lukashenko is like that slightly awkward, slightly mentally slow younger brother who creates noise and agitation on the school bus, thinking his big jockstrap brother has his back. Putin has given Lukashenko a slap before the rest of the bus steps in.
Dlaczego?
Bo dotyczy to pośrednio Rosji?
By przeciwstawić się rusofobii trzeba mieć odwagę cywilną w moim kraju.
Te kilka osób to mało, jak na 38 milionowy kraj.
While reading the commentary in a recent RT article discussing Putin’s response to Lukashenko’s threats of closing the gas flow to the EU, one such comment compared and contrasted Belarus’ actions during the pandemic (keeping all businesses open, never locking down) with Russia’s (there’s also a mention of the implementation of QR codes).
As much as I believe that Putin’s response was relatively level-headed and Lukashenko’s was kinda brash, it does leave me a bit concerned, if not entirely disappointed, considering the new QR codes and vaccination mandates.
Finding a few articles on RIA discussing the implementation of QR codes, most of the readers give downvotes, with at least one reader seeing it as an infringement of their rights.
I can’t imagine this being Putin’s idea. Who makes such a decision?
(Hopefully this doesn’t violate moderation policies.)
The climate conference at Glasgow, set to end on Friday, has continued throughout the weekend due to agendas not reaching economic criteria and deadlines targeted. It all dovetails into the rest/one world government theme, of course, and some good coverage at UK column, including Obama speech excerpt, and strong thoughts from India’s Modi. Also present are nice strong contingent of US witches and etc. .
Ironically, modi’s compatriots in delhi are the ones causing pollution

The Master Sun Tsu ( http://classics.mit.edu/Tzu/artwar.html ) provides a template for knowing the outcome of conflict.
In this Time some readers of affairs may enjoy fitting into the Master’s “equations” their own evaluations and estimates of the Character of the leadership and Qualities of Command and Forces presently arrayed one against another on the globe…particularly in the Black Sea, but also generally.
Smoothiex12 of course gives pithy and relevant assessment, and his Salvo Equation material is very good especially, but it’s The Art of War that rams-home the stark prospects.

Previously I posted the stuff about the bigbig bombs. ( https://thebulletin.org/2021/10/the-untold-story-of-the-worlds-biggest-nuclear-bomb/ )
The article is fairly accurate about the machines, but repeats several false claims…such as the story that the atom bomb ended the second world war. In fact the bomb began the next war, as it was intended (by Groves and his colleagues) “for Russia” – an ally… (see “The Decision to Use the Atom Bomb) https://www.amazon.com/Decision-Use-Atomic-Bomb/dp/067976285X
In fact it was the Red Army that defeated Japan.
In re the the canard-laden Bulletin article, the interesting truths notwithstanding, some readers may enjoy prising out similar deceptions and discovering new ones. It beats going to the bar…
After all this, I think I’m going to the bar! :-)
And listen to this! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPZydAotVOY
You an me both! My Quaker soul screams at this suicidal ritual. Sun Tzu said: The art of war is of vital importance to the State.
It is a matter of life and death, a road either to safety or to ruin. Hence it is a subject of inquiry which can on no account be neglected.
Without the State people would be slaves to the rich, it is their oppressor and their savior, in the secular sense anyway.

“No More Trouble”
(We don’t need) No, we don’t need (no more trouble) no more trouble!
(We don’t need no more trouble)
Wo! Oh-oh-oh!
(We don’t need) We don’t need no (no more) trouble!
We don’t need no trouble!
(We don’t need no more trouble)
Make love and not war! ‘Cause we don’t need no trouble.
What we need is love (love)
To guide and protect us on. (on)
If you hope good down from above, (love)
Help the weak if you are strong now. (love)
We don’t need no trouble;
What we need is love. Oh, no!
We don’t need – we don’t need – no more trouble!
Lord knows, we don’t need no trouble!
(We don’t need) We don’t need trouble (no more trouble) –
no more trouble – no more trouble!
Seek happiness! (…) Oh, …!
Come on, you all and speak of love. (…) Oh, yeah!
We don’t need no trouble;
What we need is love, now. (What we need is love!)
(We don’t need) Oh, we don’t need no more trouble!
We don’t need, no – we don’t need no trouble!
We don’t (need) – no, brothers and sisters … (no more trouble!)
We don’t need no trouble; we don’t need no trouble!
We don’t need no trouble!
What we need is love!
We don’t need – we don’t need no more – we don’t need –
no more trouble – we don’t need no more trouble!
Trouble we don’t need (we don’t need),
(We don’t need) Lord, knows! –
we don’t need no more war (no more trouble).
No more trouble – we don’t need no more – more trouble! [fadeout]
(Truth be known, these days I do drink more than I used to… “give strong drink to the heavy-hearted” come to mind.)
