“By the beginning of December this year, the reorganization of the separate Guards amphibious landing formation Kamishinski into an amphibious landing formation, which will become part of the Novorossiysk Guards Airborne Mountain Formation, will be completed,” the Russian ministry said. On Wednesday, after an extended meeting of the military council of the Russian Air Force.
In March, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said plans to reorganize the 56th Airborne Brigade [Kamishin, Volgograd Oblast] into the 56th Airborne Assault Regiment with a permanent base in Feodosia [Crimea] by the end of the year.
In October, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that Russian Airborne Commander Andrei Serdyukov had inspected the construction of the new regiment’s facilities in Feodosia.
Over the years, the Russian military has significantly strengthened the group in Crimea, including through the S-400 Triumph [Almaz-Antey] long-range air defense systems.
In November 2018, the Fourth Division of the S-400 Triumph Air Defense System took on combat duty in Dzhankoi in the northern part of Crimea. Dzhankoi has located about 30 km from the border with Ukraine. Earlier, the Russian military placed three S-400 divisions on combat duty in Crimea: in January 2017 in Feodosia, in January 2018 in Sevastopol, and in September 2018 in Evpatoria.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that a group has been set up in Crimea that can protect against any threats.
The defense of the peninsula is provided by ships of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, naval aviation, and air defense aircraft. An army corps has been set up in Crimea, including coastal defense and intelligence formations, artillery units, air defense units, engineering, and logistics support, RHB protection, communications, and others. The Russian military has modern anti-ship coastal missile systems Bal and Bastion in Crimea.
In recent years, the Russian Black Sea Fleet has received new ships, diesel-electric submarines equipped with Caliber cruise missiles.

I’ve been reading / watching Dr. Mattias Desmet of Ghent University on the phenomenon of mass formation – very interesting. He explains how under certain conditions, populations can actively collude in the nullification of all of their rights and embrace totalitarian government. The 4 conditions are common in the West :
1. a lack of connectedness in the world
2. a lack of meaning in life,
3. a non specific ” free floating ” anxiety,
4. a similarly ” free floating ” aggression / discontent.
If these are sufficiently present, the populace is vulnerable – to embrace a fear inducing narrative – attaching their free floating anxiety and aggression to it, feeling a new sense of connection with other believers together with a sense of meaning – it becomes a sort of coping mechanism alleviating their distress at the 4 conditions. A kind of enchantment ( that may be too nice a word, perhaps bewitchment or hex is better. ) This is mass formation.
Once established, it’s difficult to undo – meaningless rituals can be deployed to deepen the attachment – efforts to use logic are resisted / critical thinking is difficult if not impossible. There is also the ‘ othering ‘ of non adherents / seeing them as enemies. On a more positive note, he believes attempts to use logic, present checkable evidence and expose absurdities, while not welcome, are worthwhile as they may lessen the hypnotic hold – eventually allowing reality to reassert itself – which explains the deployment of more and more severe censorship in the public arena.

Also on a positive note, Desmet observes that mass formations always self destruct in the end.
I haven’t included a link to Dr Desmet’s articles or interviews, ( there are quite a few online ), because he has referred to the forbidden subject in some of them. But really it isn’t about that – it’s about the concept of mass formation and how totalitarian states can arise with the full support of the subject population. Well worth a look imho.
Hi Sandra, I don’t see it as phenomenon, I believe it is done deliberately through media, print (education) and tv especially, and now the bastards have the net 24/7. In Canada this past two years saw the military running psyops against the civilian population. Something that is illegal in Canada. If the Canadians are running psyops against civvies, you can bet all Five Eye countries are doing it and many other totalitarian governments.
As you noted above, what goes around comes around, like a good old karmic slap up side of the head…..soon one hopes.

I do agree – it doesn’t happen by accident – but the subjects themselves are unaware that they’re cheering on a terrible enterprise that they would not consciously embrace. They don’t see where it’s headed – like lemmings charging over a cliff. The UK government has also been deploying psychological warfare – I believe it has become normalised in most of the West. The UKColumn has frequently reported on these tactics – and the huge sums of money put into them.
I remember seeing an American on a panel saying how he supported the use if propaganda – I think he was an Obama advisor. At this point law is openly flouted. It’s the kind of arrogance that implicitly says ‘ ok it’s not legal – so what ? What are you going to do about it ? ‘. Of course they take comfort in the knowledge of the totally compromised media – more courtiers than journalists.
I note Tony Blair is always there carefully manipulating / pushing these agendas – right from the start. On Bonhoeffer’s theory of “stupidity”; At almost 75 rears of age I have some experience, you might say. One was down and dirty combat in Vietnam 66′-67′ where my blood was spilled. That will get a 19 year old’s attention. I went to war because I was ignorant. Those “resisters” who went to Canada rather than Nam had more knowledge about the situation at hand than I did. I was ignorant because MSM propaganda was all that I had to operate on. They were not. They would have been “stupid” to go to Nam as “stupid” is knowing better and going anyway. After Nam I gained MUCH knowledge and was no longer ignorant. Ignorance can be cured with knowledge. Stupid is another matter. Bonhoeffer’s posits seem to be that whole societies were “stupid”. If a society is enthralled with the power of leadership and those leaders control what the society is given as information, the individual is ignorant and not necessarily “stupid”. In Bonhoeffer’s era in Germany there were those who understood what was in play but went along not because they were stupid but because it gave them power. Now we get into “evil”.
The “elite” control much of our information and they know exactly what they are doing. If the masses are ignorant……….

Remember there were those who thought perhaps it was wrong to go, they thought it was there duty (my mom always quoted a verse from the bible to the effect that would I stay home when my brothers went to war…I thought maybe the country was wrong, but it was my duty, I would get it over with, and I would have money for college.
I was also raised on the Navajo reservation and for better or worse the people have a history of volunteering for war.
And there are all sorts of wounds from war.

You write from your heart and I remember you well. Many of us from that period didn’t really “make choices” but allowed ourselves to be swept up in the maelstrom. The “Draft” was a hurricane.
At first, for years, I did not openly “advertise” where I had been and what had happened. As I came to grips with it all I realized that I had an opportunity to engage others, vets and non, in the dynamics of how war is used by the elites for other than advertised purposes. I started wearing “the hat” (Nam vet, Purple Heart insignia, Jump wings, Regiment Crest etc) and found that I could engage the “Thank you for your service” remarks with a “Bring em’ all home” retort. The respect or disdain for “The Hat” initiated a chance to enlighten them to any level they were open to. We survivors, you and I, have an opportunity, even a duty, to give our insights to those who were not there. “There” is not necessarily setting foot “In Country” but anyone who was swept into or out of that tragedy. The common Vietnamese human had little say and millions were killed in the latest version of their centuries old conflict with foreign “powers”. Ignorance put me there. Honor kept me sane.

It has disappointed me that main stream churches, Catholics, Lutherans (Bonhoeffer’s own gang!) etc. caved right in and allowed the state to determine when, how, where, and if they would be allowed to worship. I also remember reading about Hitler making speeches. Apparently he always kept the crown waiting and while waiting, they were subjected to a sound frequency which made them feel uneasy / uncomfortable. As soon as AH turned up, this was changed to a joy inducing frequency which they then associated with his presence.

So, yesterday, I was reading a Russian-language RT article discussing the price of gas in Europe and scrolling through the comments.
One reader proposes that, should a large foreign media outlet in any given country lie to its readers that Russia is limiting gas supplies, then supplies to that country must be reduced so that the info from said media is true.
I have been told that Russia has not once used gas supplies as a weapon to blackmail Europe, even during Soviet times. With this in mind, I respond, asking what that would accomplish besides giving said lying MSM more power, giving the USA (the instigator) what it wants, and (possibly) tainting the average man-in-the-street’s perception of Russia as a reliable supplier.
The response I receive goes something like this: as soon as the state suffers from the gas shortage thanks to the lies spewed from said media outlet, the citizens will see the cause-and-effect and rebel against the lying media.
I still can’t say I can follow this logic. If the media outlet said something truthful, then wouldn’t that dampen the skepticism of the trustworthiness of the outlet to begin with? Wouldn’t Russia reliably supplying gas foment the skepticism already, since the fact openly defies what the outlet says? Where does one draw the line on what is or isn’t considered ‘blackmail’?
I kind of liked the “Let’s go, Brandon” chants, it gave those who criticize Biden a funny tool, and I think that was a good thing.
But now I see here many commenters calling Biden “Brandon”.
What will now become of that chant? Using it now will mean: “Let’s go, Biden”, and it is not fun anymore.
By saying “Brandon” while speaking about Biden, we are wasting a useful and humoristic tool, and that is playing into the hands of the Biden camp. I think.

I do follow the global developments re the forbidden topic, which is of course so intimately bound up with other geo political concerns, and these I follow too in their corresponding developments, nothing is separate anymore, accept the growing Great Divide between the global elitists and the populations, who, I should like to say, need every word and thought of hope and encouragement in order to cope. If you see this, and feel it on every leve,l then you are in tune with life, and with the planets too.

@ Anoxia another thrilling cop chase. Some unbalanced fella pulled a pistol at the local hospital, fired once or twice, ran away wrapped in a blanket and hijacked a car with a driver as kidnap victim and went off on a merry chase, occasionally firing at the cops from the passenger side. Second cop chase with guns this week… Cops showed great restraint. Nobody got shot. Stolen car got all 4 tires blown out.

I well remember the Caribbean Crises…and it came down to luck and one Soviet man who said no…but this time who can say that?
OMG .. I’ve taken to the kitchen, for some Thai or Indonesian Peanut Sauce (with chili flakes and with finely grated ginger root and garlic). So, we’re actually into a salad for lunch, so this sauce will have to wait but nevertheless, I am pounding and grating and mixing and tasting.
It all started with receiving a bunch of organic peanuts (a regular affaire for us), nicely roasted with no salt and a good mill (A Champion juicer that can be applied to other applications). Don’t try and make peanut butter in the food processor. You have to have the right grounding-type machine thing otherwise line up all the family for a shift at the mortar and pestle and creamy will be a lost cause. Really, the Champion is the way to go! So, inadvertently, not knowing my frame of mind, the husband critter made peanut butter because he had a moment – he said.
Otherwise use peanut butter without sugar or sweetening added. There are such things in some stores depending supply chain.
So, this is what you need for this sauce that can be used as a dipping sauce or as a dressing, and most fitting for chicken but all kinds of other things as well, like noodles. So now, I have to make chicken kebabs preferably grilled outside (see how I escape life, the universe, and everything – bring the bombs, Amarynth will be cooking!).
So, here is a Thai style peanut sauce – but a peanut sauce is a thing of taste and adding a bit here and there, and so on. So, if you make it, be prepared to taste and season.
Salt? depends on the soy sauce or tamari or that ingredient. You may have to add a pinch.
Water? what a waste .. use some coconut milk, but water will do if you have no coconut milk or coconut water.
Chili? absolutely to taste, but you have to have some. The Chili pepper or flakes, the ginger, the garlic, all combine to add a bit of heat, so, that is what you have to judge and mix carefully, depending on your family and the amount of heat they can handle. But you have to have some spark and some heat to this peanut sauce thing.
So, now you know what to adjust to taste, and remember, measure carefully … haha.
– 1/2 cup peanut butter natural, unsweetened
– 2 tablespoons soy sauce ( a thickened version of a soy sauce or a tamari for gluten free – I used my last tamari and there is only one supplier out of the US that I like .. dear heavens .. supply chains! and who trusts Japan these days? They flush the bright and shiny water down the ocean!)
– 1 tablespoon rice vinegar (must have – no prob, my country is friends with China)
– 2 tablespoons brown sugar (now be careful, this one is one that you can adjust, depending on how sweet your peanut butter is … taste … give it a break to develop flavor and taste again – no prob, my country has brown sugar)
– 1 teaspoon chili flakes (or finely chopped fresh chili, not too hot) and one teaspoon grated garlic (now be careful – these can both be upped or downed) You’re cooking, you’re not going to space. (Yeah, in the Latin Americas we have chili)
– 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice – or use the stuff out of the bottle if you absolutely have to! But it needs to be lime and not lemon. If you’re intense about this, take a little lime zest from your lime .. not too much, just to lift the whole bunch up a tad – add the zest at the very last and just before serving. (Yeah, I have a lime tree!)
– 3 garlic cloves pressed or grated (China, be my friend .. only next year will I see if my garlic works!)
– 1 tablespoon ginger root grated (No problem, I have bunches in the garden)
– 2-4 tablespoons warm water or coconut milk or coconut water … this is only for adjusting the thickness but why waste the opportunity for more taste on water?. Drink that stuff by the liter daily, but don’t cook with it.
So,’mis en place’ … in other words, prepare all your ingredients. Put it together in a bowl big enough to hold in and wisk wisk wisk .. everything excepting liquid .. and thin a bit with the liquid according to what you want to use it for .. dip, a little thicker, sauce, a little thinner. 4 Tablespoons for a sauce .. 2 Tablespoons for a dip .. measure carefully .. haha. Just check it out as you go.

Old engine room fellas will remember engine room coffee made with distilled water and salt added. Why add salt?
I’m a bit out of my depth in this, but really pure water doesn’t latch onto the flavor molecules very well, they say. And taste confirms. The salt added works to chelate the flavor bits from the coffee grounds. This chemistry is not confined to coffee. Some ingredients will have more latent or occult salt than others, how much is an unknown. (see “Sequestrant” as well as “Chelation” @ wiki, etc)
So yes, just a pinch of salt often makes a big difference. And it can’t hurt.

Don’t know the chemistry Mr P but the old timers always added a pinch of salt, to cut the bitterness they’d say. Recently, no actually, pre mandated Apartheid, ghee how time flies, I was in an Ethiopian owned grocery store and noticed they had green coffee bean. After talking with the owner about how to roast them, I bought some. He stressed the importance of getting rid of the husk/hulls as they made the coffee bitter. Now when I buy whole bean I pay attention to how much chaff there is. Lots of coffee out there but good coffee, a rare bird indeed.

Apologies in advance if I’m being a party pooper, but of the soy sauce/tamari manufacturers in Japan, what are their opinions on their government’s decision regarding “bright and shiny” water?
I’ve been told that certain industrialists in Germany support greater cooperation with Russia, in defiance of the will of the German government. Following this example, I imagined a similar disconnect in Japan between industrialists and government.

Re: “The inevitable suicide of elites and ending of old ways of life”
As many, I have learned that the arts of the secretive West reveal the unspoken truths, real belief systems, and their deepest angst. At least that of the controlling elite. If you know what to watch for – signs and symbols, and themes, it is intelligible. And helpful during severe crises, like now, where they hammer home the key talking points. I detest these demented creatures’ worldview, but I watch to try to make sense of their perspectives and intent, rather than for enjoyment. I can no longer enjoy their “art”.
Below are my notes of Dune from a month ago.. NB: I avoid dystopias and sci fi so I never read the Dune books and ignored the first movie in 80s.. However, i was curious given its massive publicity and striking trailer. Anything so heavily promoted by Hollywood has huge messaging, so I took the time to see this.
My understanding of most lower-level masons (like most Roman Catholics or Muslim Brothers) is they are decent people following traditions of their fathers and looking for a sense of community, unaware of hidden aims, which are reserved for those at highest levels. I think most secret societies are at root satanic, of the “Synagogue of Satan,” which is most apt metaphor since most of these societies have in commonality the language and methods of the Jewish Kabbala. Where I am from we say, “anything that is hidden has filth in it.” It may be oversimplification and doesn’t apply to hidden wonders of our Lord, but I think it largely holds for human plotting.

Just saw the visually striking movie “Dune 2021.”
Extremely beautiful haunting cinematography, powerful soundtrack as usual by Hans Zimmer, and appears to be the signature symbolism movie of 2021.

I lived 8 years in N. Europe, and travelled as a typical summer teen by train from Vienna through the gorgeous southern Tyrol to Rome, stopping by many points in between – Bologna, Venezia, Firenza.. Received a written piece from a person with a profile, like an important person. Actually received many already.
So, I am not an important person, and I wonder why the constant attempts to get me involved in a conversation that if I have it, I’m going to prove this person an utter fool. I don’t want to do that, and have hemmmd, and haaddd, and ducked conversation and tried to remain friendly but at a distance.
The last piece of written work shouts for Freedom! Liberté! Let’s all join hands and be Free! We’re in a war! We gotta win this war! (Seems to me like recruitment, but I may be wrong). The writer wants an answer, from me! And is almost joining the category of pesky!
So, I wondered how far we will get with Freedom! and Liberté if we are continually asking the currently mostly insane wannabe masters of the universe for that? Is Freedom not a state of mind first? Those insane wannabe masters of the universe do not have Freedom to give. And there is this old joke of the dog barking and chasing at a car .. what will the dog do when it eventually catches that car? So, if we’re the dog and we catch Freedom what are we going to do with it?
So, what is Freedom and how do we obtain it?
Are people beginning to understand that we are literally in circumstances that will either collapse the human society, or will give it new ground under the feet? We’ve never seen anything like this. What is our relationship to and with Freedom?
And secondly, last year when I started whining that people should stop saying stuff like: “The Whole World is With Us!” and everyone got angry at me .. are you beginning to understand that the whole world is probably not with you as we are breaking up into new alliances, new agreements, different configurations, and your war is perhaps not the other person’s war?. Can people still quietly stand on their own feet, take responsibility for themselves and not try and shout the other one to death? I sense a thread of such conversation here, and it makes me glad.

Recently Corbett interviewed Robert Kennedy, who’s flogging his book on that good man Fauci. It’s nearly an hour long interview. Since the book is said to have 2,200 footnotes (as I recall) and probably will be stopped, I suppose I’ll see about getting a copy, while I may. It’s a Very Interesting Interview.
Kennedy’s father, murdered many years ago (see Lisa Pease’s book on Lie Too Big to Fail) had character that is visible in his son. He has passion, and he’s tough, and smart. Said son has a law firm that specializes in actions against massive corporate and regulatory crimes and wrongs…all of which are (imo) forms of “battery”. Battery is probably the oldest crime, and it’s the form of assault that calls out self-defense. Since he wins many cases against very heavy opposition, he must be a pretty good lawyer. BTW a forced injection seems to fit the definition of battery. (“renz-law” has some materials on this too)
RFK (Jr) in this interview makes statements that seem to invite that good man Fauci to sue for slander…or libel.
Very strident. Very clever too! However, one does hope that Mr Kennedy avoids airplane rides… (Walter Ruther, Wellstone, and JFK (Jr), etc..)
It seems to me that amarynth (above) asking what freedom is, might be answered by (among other replies) that freedom is freedom from battery – and that when such freedom is taken, the natural right of all living things is the freedom to employ self-defense. And it seems to me that’s what Kennedy’s book about that good man Fauci is all about, the systematic taking away of both freedom from battery and the freedom to employ self-defense.
How about freedom from threat?
Good question. I well remember a lecture on Law dealing with the definition of assault. After defining the general concept of assault the professor posed questions such as “is it an assault to whistle at a pretty girl?”
One wiseacre replied “not when I do it!” (this was about 1960…standards have changed!) But even in 1960 USA the wiseacre was wrong. Yes, the professor said it is an assault to whistle at a pretty girl, but usually it’s so trivial that no action is either necessary, nor would a Court deign to take notice. (that was then!)
Since the whistle is a form of “touching” (ie battery) in that the sounds do touch the lady’s ears and have an effect, however minor, displeasing, or pleasing (I remember Bardot said how she liked being complimented about her bottom), perhaps we might take the legalism deeper, and ask “what if the lady hears the whistle as a threat, if she fears being whistled at.?”
There are overt threats, specific, “I shall do this or that” when the mooted act is obviously to do harm, to sue, to hit, to slander, whatever. And there are implied threats…such as the man with a pistol. These have much to do with perception. The threat may well be imaginary. I myself fear the threat that’s implied by cops wearing body armor – they wouldn’t wear it if they were not afraid of getting shot, and this means that they’re trigger-happy…and many times I have been threatened by cops with guns, so my fear is not unreasoned. And people do get shot. Cops make errors, and sometimes they are criminals themselves. In the US cop guns are almost carried with a live round in chamber – that alone is a threat… (FWIW I have never been arrested, nor hit by gunfire, but sadly I have been to gunfights, and I am always polite to cops)
Since every person is free to act and because people are communal critters that live in groups, it’s clear that there is no freedom from implied threat possible. However credible and overt threats are another matter – these seem very closely aligned with battery. They cannot be prevented, but they may be punished. Implied threat is so subjective that it’s a matter of “reasonable fear”. Not simply fear.
More generally, in living things, all are subject to the whims of fortune and exist in a complex environment that is constantly threatening – all are close to death.
So, imho, there is no freedom from threat. The sky can fall at any time. But this is a two-way relationship, all living things are free to fight back. Thus, imho, the way to minimize threat is to be kind and polite, but to always be willing to fight back. BTW, since some are stronger than others, the way to minimize threat is sometimes to have a weapon – it depends on sanity and situation and reasonableness. A 100 pound lady might well minimize threats with a weapon, while 250 pound man might only maximize threat by having the same thing.

In another (but somewhat related) matter, some may remember the odd case of Otto John. Evidently, newly opened files reveal that Otto John was working with MI6 during the war and was possibly the conduit for the explosives used in the attempt to murder Hitler. For some this may inform the Churchill plans to turn the German Army against USSR following a surrender to UK/US and the formation of a combined force – and the Dulles “Sunrise” fiasco. This “smells” suspicious. Since the nazi intel gang under Gehelen was rehabilitated as part of the “cold war”, and since Otto John did his trip to East Berlin and was subsequently “punished”, it seems to explain the entire affair. see Otto John’s book, related history, and searchterm “Bombshell secret documents reveal hero MI6 spy’s role in ‘Operation Valkyrie’ plan to blow up Adolf Hitler”.

Wild animals are defensive, and feel threatened by unusual circumstances or people, children may be but necessarily, as in ideal surroundings they learn trust, respect and care for others. Normally those who are low in intelligence use threat as a means to achieve an end, or a suggestion of threat. Then comes the difference of a subjective threat, meaning something that is taken as such, or understood as implied, and the reaction then may be inconsistent with the intent, and the lack of understanding arise from guilt, paranoia,, projection, many things.
To place one or many people in a position of not being able to defend themselves is a characteristic of extreme cruelty, and a common social indictment today. This leads to general undermining of trust, disillusionment and so forth, and dependence on drugs, mood enhancers etc
Yesterday I mentioned an audio (about an hour long) titled “The Collapse of America: What History Teaches Us About the Rise and Fall of Empires. Prof. Alfred McCoy”
I spent the time to listen, especially as McCoy’s a very smart guy who’s written deep things about the dark zone, and done much direct research.
I am not sure I entirely agree with his views, which are, to say the least, “troubling”. Nevertheless he introduced an idea that’s new to me, that of the cultural morality or I suppose ethics of Empires often or generally being in contradiction to the Empire itself. It seem to me that this principle characteristic of Empires, that of internal moral contradiction, dove-tails to Conflict Theory and is a major driver of History.
