What are the chances a real Japan will awaken and overthrow its occupiers?
I don’t think they want to throw out the USA. Their too scared of China.
I was going to ask something about that.
Weeks ago I was gleaming through the comment section on an RT article (https://on.rt.com/bknz) and found one comment claiming that one reason Japan is under the USA’s thumb is because of some “thirst for revenge” on China’s part.
Then someone responded, saying, and I quote:
If true, this could explain why there have long been bilateral relations between China and Japan for decades.
As relieved as I was of this hypothesis, I was curious as to what China not being a Christian nation had to do with it since Christ IIRC instructs His followers to turn the other cheek as well.
Upon asking this, the response I got said that a lot of Western “Christians” don’t follow Christ’s instructions to love one’s enemies, and that Western “Christianity” has become, dare I say it, “Judaized”.
What are the chances a real Japan will awaken and overthrow its occupiers?
What are the chances a real Australia will awaken and overthrow its occupiers?
What are the chances a real Britain will awaken and overthrow its occupiers?
What are the chances a real Germany will awaken and overthrow its occupiers?
What are the chances a real Canada will awaken and overthrow its occupiers?
What are the chances a real > insert any country occupied and controlled < will awaken and overthrow its occupiers?

US military plans for greater presence in Australia as it confronts China’s power

Extracts:
>The US plans to reduce troops and equipment in other parts of the world to bring more to Australia and the Indo-Pacific
>US military will also upgrade Australian bases to counter China
>”In Australia, you’ll see new rotational fighter and bomber aircraft deployments, you’ll see ground forces training and increased logistics cooperation,” US Under Secretary of Defense Mara Karlin told reporters.
“More broadly across the Indo-Pacific, you’ll see a range of infrastructure improvements in Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands and Australia.”
>Dr Karlin said the previously flagged base upgrades in Australia should “hopefully come to fruition in coming years” and included logistics facilities, fuel storage, munitions storage and airfield upgrades.
>Earlier this year, the ABC revealed senior American and Australian officials had discussed options for expanded military cooperation, including a proposal to form a new joint US marines and ADF training brigade based in Darwin.
The foxes have their dens and the birds have their nests,
but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head…
I Have No One
The lamb has its meadow,
Its meadow of yore.
The farmer to open
And close the barn door.
Mother nearby
Over baby to pore –
But I have no one,
No one to implore.
The rooster has its throat,
Its throat bright red,
To herald the day
And wake the farmstead.
A comb and a wattle
And hens in the shed –
But I have nothing,
Nothing in stead.
The fish has the sea,
The sea to explore,
Wandering forever,
Never reaching the shore.
To float on its surface
Or sleep on its floor –
But I have no sea
Nor fins to swim o’er.
The swans have their wings
Their wings to fly.
Old wintering grounds
Forsaken to sky.
A song to sing
When their time is nigh –
But I have no wings
With which to soar high.
The horse cools its heels
Down in the creek bed,
Big bushy tail
Swatting flies as they shred.
Some shady grove,
That old homestead –
But I have nowhere,
Nowhere to lay my head.

The heart is where I put up my feet
Spacious and wide, a comfy seat
Resting in the divine place
Centered in divine grace
The body a fathom long, handspan wide
But measureless this place inside
The heart within never dies
This body must perish, another will rise
Where we are born, whichever place
Depends on our own state of grace
The brighthearted ascend to love and light
The darkhearted fall to realms of night
Where we are is where we go
Heaven within is the place to know
“The heart is where I put up my feet…” Love it Anomalous, best, D.
Thank you Dimitar, for sharing some beautiful music, in the previous Cafe the melodious song “Molitva” by Dragan Dautovski Quartet, though I couldn’t understand the words.
A wonderful composition Asturias (Leyenda), named simply Leyenda by its composer, is a musical work by the Spanish composer and pianist Isaac Albéniz (1860-1909).

Performance by John Williams –

“Molitva” is prayer, in Macedonian, Sudhi. It’s essentially expressing gratitude for the abundance Mother Nature provides insofar as our connection as a species to the land, the seasons etc. I have earmarked your link and will have a listen when I can. Fondly, D.
“But I have nowhere,
Nowhere to lay my head”
Render then my residence to resemble the sky
If I turn to dust then give me some privacy
If today be the day when I face my self
In order to put forth my views give me clear insight
Since long have I been enveloped in gloom
In order to see give me the sun and the moon
Through your manifold splendor and benevolence
If my mind is blinded then give me the ability to see
Though I am not a seeking for more time
When the time of departure arrives give me some time
In case anyone asks for my whereabouts
Give them a handful of the dust from my wanderings
The Beggar, the Undertaker and the Children
Well, the knock it came at a quarter to four,
Once, twice, three times on the big wooden door;
“Please give me something, preferably meat,
Nobody wants to starve, everybody wants to eat.”
The undertaker, grumbling, shifted his weight,
His stomach still rumbling from all that he ate;
“The sad truth it is, I’ve nothing to give,
Nobody wants to die, everybody wants to live!”
The beggar he shook his old grey head,
Saying, “Strong apple cider will do instead.
If business is bad,” he said with a wink,
“Nobody need be thirsty, everybody needs to drink.”
The undertaker scoffed, plainly vexed;
“Goodness gracious, what will it be next?
You come to my door this time every day,
To eat and to drink but you don’t want to pay!”
The beggar he turned and walked away,
And his tears became pearls with the light of the day.
Said the children that found them, there where they lay…
“Nobody wants the pearls, they’re throwing them away!”
I hear you Dimitar, thanks. I haven’t been following you as much as I was and I’m sorry about that. This morning I was doing my exercises and had an idea.
I told Ioan about six or seven years ago that I would make a song out of a poem of his (when I was oohiing and aahing about somethings he wrote.) The first was about him or his uncle getting on a train and going into the blue and leaving a loved one behind. The next one was “Little Syrian Boy” written at the time of the White Helmet/hospital fraud. I tried on the train song but the music (a blues) didn’t fit the words well and I didn’t feel I should chop and hack at it. Do you think you can find them?
I remember you saying he inspired you to write poetry and I thought: here’s the best guy to edit these poems into a more song amenable form. The world expert on Ioan. And aren’t you a musician ?
Anyway some in my family are musically inclined and maybe I can work with one of them on this over Christmas.
I have to make another attempt…thank you for all your contributions to the cafe and the vineyard. And Merry Christmas!
Brother Blue, I’d be happy to help editing any poetry of Ioan’s. I take it these are specific poems you’re after?
And they hail from 6 or 7 years ago? This is before my time and I am not aware of the specific discussions and poems you’re referring to. What I have done in the past is simply go into the Archive. I cannot commit to such an undertaking atm. simply b/c my external world is filled with situations that take up all my time, ( litigation among everything else, horrible stuff )
Just to make sure we’re ‘on the same page’, I would suggest heading on back through the MFC Archives till you come to the exchanges you had with our dear friend. If there’s a day, a time and date, then as far as I know, the discussions should be archived. Earlier this year, after Ioan’s passing in fact, I went back to around mid-’17,
and found all the exchanges we had and I was able to go through and find the relevant moments I was after.
Please reply if I am understanding you correctly. If you have a date, they should be relatively easy to find. When you find what you’re after, let me know, and I can help with editing the poems, no problem. If necessary, I’m sure we can establish contact via email ( saker’s assistant; bottom of this page ) and nut out the problem. I am a musician and sometime songwriter/arranger, so I’d be happy to help with hearing your ideas and editing Ioan’s work, no problem.💛
Thanks a lot Dimitar. I will try searching the archives. They are two specific poems probably written when Ioan first was writing them in English.
Here’s hoping you make it through the litigation.
Merry Christmas!
Folks, an easy way. Got to the dashboard thing here: /comment-dashboard/
On the right hand side bottom, section titled history, put in ioan’s name, just like this
ioan
and select a series of dates. Keep this selection small but jot it down so you can remember. Hit send.
What will appear is a list of ioan’s post for the time period .. now you have to do some fingerwork, click on one selection and see all of ioans’ posts. Now you have to make a quick squizz through with the eye, to find the ones you want.
Correcting myself, not an easy way, but an easier way :-)
Muchas gracias!

You’re too kind, Anomalous. To me, it’s one of those poems that defy interpretation, it’s simply more interesting that way. I left it alone and finally came back to it, and it came alive for me. Your viewpoint is profound and eclipsed my own, thank you for pointing out what you have.

Please pick a name that is not similar to anonymous … saker requests that all comments with names that spoof anonymous to be removed … mod
Anonymous and Anomalous are two completely different words, perhaps there’s no intention of spoofing involved with the usage of Anomalous as ‘nom de plume’ by the author, and it could be within the ambit of The Saker’s request for not using anonymous.
anonymous –
(of a person) not identified by name;
of unknown name
anomalous –
inconsistent with or
deviating from what is standard,
normal, or expected
e.g. “an anomalous situation”
I probably should mind my business.
And at the risk of drawing Sakers ire.
Anomalous has been posting here as “Anomalous” for some years now.
I 1000% endorse the abolition of “Anonymous” and “Anon”, and there has been I think an immediate and obvious improvement in the quality of comments.
I am sure Anomalous can think of something new and clever, but this poster is valued here, (I believe), has a history of comments under that name, and it would be disappointing if they got caught in the dragnet of the new rule.
But, of course, it’s sakers blog and sakers rules.
We could just enjoy the magnificent samizdat that appeared here. Well done all! Good humans are here.
The nameless friend stepped into the theater and rolled with the punch with charm, grace, sharp wit, and above all with equanimity and humor.
This site is busy. It is hard these days to just keep up besides even analyzing the most important happenings on our blue marble. Not everybody sees everything – it’s impossible.
I agree with you on anonymous and friends. The idea of course is to stop the games that were played by these ones. I think things are better, and of higher quality in commenting overall. Now the challenge is to keep it that way, while our world literally is in chaos.

Nice to hear these again, thanks Alexander. I bought the lp many years ago and still have it. I can’t help noting just how common this phenomenon is among brilliant artists, musicians, poets who appear, lay down their work and disappear, all within a very short time span. It’s in part what my poem from last cafe was addressing, “The Circle of Life”, ie; Soul having an agenda known only to Itself, irrespective of the human dimension which is often tragic.
Whom the God’s love die young, is an ancient saying, and the sense I have is connected to their talents and both the directions that led to their lives, and where they are heading, and that concerns the gods greatly, all is love… Perhaps this was indicated in the poem and after life of the young person you mentioned. Thank you.
I saw Jaqueline du Pres already seated in a wheelchair beside the stage in London with Barenboim conducting. I went with my father when I was young, Afterwards he went to speak with her briefly, having asked me if I would go with him, but I was overwhelmed and shy, and waited for him in the foyer.
Thank you, Alexander. Here are four songs from another one of those greats, Toše Proeski, who we met here in Australia in 2004, while my wife met him in Macedonia when he was a young man of 20 years of age, while she was chaperoning her nephew to his concert. Passed away in Oct. 2007, in a car crash while travelling to Croatia to sing on someone’s song. A needless and to all intents and purposes, a pointless death. Yet his talent and love remains with us. 26 at the time.

so….the absurdity continues…….Swedish greenn politician blames Rusdia for high electricity prices when Rusdia sells no gas to them and gas and electric is home supplied. USA holds back some arms supplies to Ukraine 300m worth but still supplies 60m worth having supplied or planning to add the total to 2.5 billion. MOSCOW, December 12. /TASS/. NATO countries are sending militants to Ukraine under the guise of military instructors, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Sunday.
“The region, in particular Ukraine, is being pumped up with weapons. I am speaking about direct supplies, contracts for future, multimillion, multibillion contracts. Moreover, militants are being sent there under the guise of military instructors,” she said in an interview with the Krym-24 television channel.
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said earlier that Russia is worried over possible deployment of Western troops in Ukraine and this situation makes Moscow take measures to defend its interests.”

Pepe Escobar has a range of tweets out. The most important:
and
I’m not sure why he says ‘strategic’ but something has to give.
Amarynth, my dear lady,
The meter is off the peg. I’ve been in this berg since ’06. We had the Gruzya War in ’08 when that noisy herd of arsonists got their nostrils braided, their armor totally destroyed and their flot sunk, Novorossiya war started in ’14 about the time of our Russian Spring in early ’14 and then Mother stepped in to the Syria mess and made some order whilst at the same time giving Uncle Sugar a bit of a drubbing, behind the scenes of course. Today compared to those events make the past events look like a kindergarten tea party in a tree shaded meadow.
I am observant and see many things others don’t. I will not say anything that is not visible to the eye with a simple stroll down Ulitsiya Bogdanova, the main drag on north side. I can not see the Flot quays without going out of my way to local food emporium. I can not see the specialist lager at the end of Bogdanova without going out of my way as we head for Hospital #4. I can not see other interesting things unless we head out to 35th Battery and I specifically direct our when needed driver to take particular streets on the way to 35th Battery or the main Hospital when we have to go, ergo I will, and can only, report on what is seen locally, IOW within walking distance of our peaceful little street and compound.
‘Tense’ is a word that pales on comparison to the current SitRep in our little valley. Every man younger than 45 is gone except for the few local drunks who Mother don’t want anyway. All our ‘guests’, our summer plague of mainlanders who just would not leave this fall are gone. Shops and magazines are full of goods and food and now several of them for the first time we’ve ever seen have sacks of staples, buckwheat for porridge, rice and sugar, some carrying 20 and 30 kilo sacks and all are selling. Wine shop runs out of the not too expensive local ‘good stuff’ by early afternoon. Tobacco shops have trouble keeping enough in stock, for the first time in 15 years I’m seeing locals buying smokes by the carton as apposed to the usual one pack at a time (no discount here for a carton, price is the same as ten packs off the shelf).
There is no sense of panic anywhere, everything is calm and the locals are obviously stocking up. We have, too, both for us and the children. Our youngest daughter Kristl’yannah needs a special diet so I made sure VCO got enough of that special food to go through the entire treatment protocol, then she goes on regular food. For the other children and for us, we’ve gotten enough staples to carry us through whatever might happen. We hope and pray that cooler heads will prevail but it’s obvious a ‘cooler head’ is rarely heard from either EU or SehSha. So be it, the first Bulgarian rowboat that is brave enough to use a slingshot and toss a pebble towards Krimu or Sevastopol will unleash a world of hurt the likes of which the world has never seen. Let’s hope that don’t happen but when the bad guys are slowly approaching your circled wagons whilst the whole time protesting their peacefulness and innocence, well, one can read in that what one wants.

I hear you my friend. If Putin starts making phone calls to clowns like BoJo, to ‘splain the situation, it looks grim.
Putin has outlined his view decision and rules to UK BoJo today via phone ….
For the most part, machines have already taken over the world. They build more and more things each day, they clean up throw away mountains of debris in just hours that took years to build.
We have successfully created a throw away society. And are now becoming the victim of our own success.
We wear ourselves out every minute building, and then throw away, and clean up our belongings, at an alarming hourly rate.
Aaah, you got me at a weak moment! I don’t like to buy stuff and I consider really hard before I take money out of my pocket. You make me think of when my simple slow cooker gave up and cracked its innards. It took me about six months to replace that thing, and it is a must-have in my kitchen. All the new-fangled gadgets, smart pots and air-cookers and such just tired me out because that is not how I cook. It is a nightmare for me to have a stupid pot decide how I should put food together. Eventually, I found a replacement as simple as my original and it is in full use preparing stocks, stews, and such foods with no hassle. And then yesterday the electric kettle decided to stop working – the on and off switch. I use it daily for a cup of tea. (No microwaved water or microwaved anything in our house). My husband took it to the workbench because it just a little electrical connection, you know, but it is so covered in unnecessary molded pieces of plastic that one cannot get to it, and he gave up on it – and he is a MacGyver with such things. He knows exactly where the loose wire connection is, but it is molded to unavailability for a simple fix.
I resent built-in obsolescence and design to make it unable to fix.
Rule of thumb amarynth, when it comes to small electrical devices with an ‘element’; home repair is great if all insurance policies are paid up. Otherwise, a small expense to replace, that includes hair dryers, hair curlers, and such. Not knocking hubby’s talents, we men like to do manly things, just life being so precious, why put a price point of pride on it. Stay safe.
Cheers M
In my past life I was a building maintenance supervisor, we never repaired those type of small appliances (my rule)…..who wants that on their conscious…..heaven forbid someone got hurt…or worse. I always consider those repairs a possible liability issue. Perhaps the reason hubby couldn’t access the ‘part’ for repair.
We’re in the tropics sean. The environment is tough on electrics and electronics and we don’t keep the air conditioning on all the time, so we have repairs regularly – humidity, rust, dust .. and so on.
There is this guy that comes by looking for small ‘electro-domesticos’ to pick up and take away and they go and repair very nicely and then resell. They did a cake mixer for me – same problem, switch gone (and husband gone as well on project). They did a beautiful job and installed so nicely a more old-fashioned rocker switch which they say lasts better in our environment. It works a charm! Hubby did pull his meters out to check it and could not fault it.
I’m a bad consumer of headsets – I stuff ’em on my head and jerk them off again .. those get repaired regularly around our place. There still is a culture of repair and technicians that can do it.
Guess we got our wires crossed, all electrical devices are repairable. Any device with an element, that draws high amperage, close to a circuits maximum, is a fire hazard. Small appliances with an element have a built in factory fuse. When it blows, the appliance is considered NS, and not to be repaired. Can it be repaired, absolutely, but if it burns down ones house post repair the home insurance will not pay out.
Just saying, some thing’s are better (safer) replaced than repaired……depends on each person’s tollerance for chance I suppose.
Cheers M
I heard some high stakes prisoner in England, supposedly inoculated, had a medical emergency, didn’t see it covered here, probably coincidence, maybe just a net rumor.
He did have problem but with the previous appearance, where everyone commented that he looked really terrible.
Mini stroke, says the media. But I don’t know what that is.
Assange was a dead man from the day he chose the Ecuadorian embassy. That was a dead end and now he’s in a dungeon where the wear down on his health is pro forma.
He will die and never see a day of freedom.
He should have gone to Russia. Bad choice.
Truth has no salvation for the teller or distributor. In fact, often hell is visited on those brave souls who warn us with the Truth.
If Assange had some leverage within his “vaults”, he and his organization never played that leverage.
If he didn’t have leverage, he should have had an egress plan. Hunkering down in an embassy was foolish.
Well said, my friend and comrade, well said, and how very true, sad as it may be. Perhaps he had his reasons for the embassy deal but we’ll never know, he’ll be dead before he is free and can talk. ‘They’ fear him mightily.

2020 Hindsight is a marvellous superpower.
>>If he didn’t have leverage….
From what I have read he DID.
He had some sort of a “deadman’s switch”, “data dump” of really dangerous material secured on the blockchain.
About 5 years ago the whole global internet was taken down with a series of massive outages, and Julian’s “get out of jail” file was vaporised.
>Skeptics will of course greet this ^ with skepticism….. of course, … carry on…
And don’t forget the series of deaths of a number of key Wikileaks people…. Such as Julian’s tech collaborators. None of these deaths received much coverage, and were (of course), promptly memory holed.
>>Hunkering down in an embassy was foolish
Despite Julian being fully aware of the overwhelming evil he was exposing, I think deep, deep in his beliefs, he thought somewhere there were “Good Guys” and Hollywood has us all believing that ultimately, despite all the odds, the Good Guys always win.
If (yes, *IF*) the UK and the international legal system, or any morally correct process had been enacted, Julian would not have been in that embassy for more than a week.
Julian has exposed that | they | will pervert and subvert any and every fairness, legality and natural justice to save themselves from their grotesque evil being revealed.
There is salvation for Julian from St. Truth. As you say, he is doing his hell here. In this world truth wears a human face: “I am the way, the truth, and the life…”
I love your critical analysis.
Thank god there are humans imperfectly sallying out from themselves in search of the castle of St. Truth,

https://www.webmd.com/stroke/what-is-tia
A mini-stroke or TIA is an extremely serious event. It is usually temporary, with symptoms resolving, but 33% go on to have a full stroke within a year..
Assange is only 50.. not as common for his age group. Could be exacerbated by sedentary lifestyle (in a dungeon), family risk profile, comorbidities such as diabetes, and stress.
But if he was really vaccinated with western mRNAs, this is a common sequela nowadays.. blood clotting. A mini-stroke is a blood clot of the vasculature of the brain.
I agree he will not see freedom.
At this point he functions like a voodoo doll for the satanists.. they push in pins to indirectly torture so many worldwide..
But it could also be poisoning, if torturers are getting tired of it all and want to close the file as with Milosevic.
Chris Hedges wrote a superb piece titled The execution of Julian Assange :
https://www.rt.com/op-ed/543082-execution-assange-empire-lies/
Hedge’s article. A masterclass in skewering the pure evil that is the Assange case.
Some of the sentences I cheered:
§ a judicial burlesque overseen in London by portly judges in gowns and white horse-hair wigs mouthing legal Alice-in-Wonderland absurdities.
§ Friday’s ruling was devoid of legal analysis.
§ The judicial railroading of Assange, which has eviscerated one legal norm after another, has, as Franz Kafka wrote, turned “lying into a universal principle.”
§ Assange is charged in the US under 17 counts of the Espionage Act and one count of hacking into a government computer
§ There is no legal basis to hold Assange in prison. There is no legal basis to try him, a foreign national, under the Espionage Act.
The CIA spied on him while he was in the Ecuadorian Embassy through a Spanish company, UC Global, contracted to provide embassy security.
This spying included recording the privileged conversations between Assange and his lawyers. This fact alone invalidates any future trial.
§ Assange, at tremendous personal cost, warned us. He gave us the truth. Now the ruling class is crucifying him for this truth.
And with his crucifixion, the dim lights of our democracy go dark.
“The ruling class is crucifying him for this truth. And with his crucifixion, the dim lights of our democracy go dark.”
There is no available exit should one confront absolute power and take it on, friend. One can only work on aligning one’s self with the deeper principles that one comes to know as truth within one’s self and then work to listen to the guidance within and so come to terms with the problem from a higher perspective than the human state of consciousness. Absolute power is an expression of the Lord of the Lower Worlds aka. Satan, the Kal Niranjan, etc. It loves nothing more than such confrontations with some upstart where it can show “who is boss”. This isn’t to say that one shouldn’t work for improvements of conditions in this highly unjust and corrupt world, but if one cannot rise above one’s emotional and mental bodies, all hope is essentially lost.
The Negative Force loves to make shows of its power, but cannot prevent Soul from leaving its clutches when Soul has finally earnt the right to do this and learnt the way to do it. And the way to do it is to discover and employ the way of “No-Power”. This principle may be described in another way, as “Not my will, but Thine be done”. To override one’s emotional and mental reactions is easier said than done, but not impossible. One makes progress when one finds one’s self under the gun, or as the saying goes, “One never attained mastery by sitting at home and doing nothing”, ( might be one of my sayings, lol ).
Well its about to get worse, apparently you have to have health insurance now in order to retire these days.
So inquiring about it, I get this fellow who seems to know my situation better than I do and is delighted to hear from me, and as such I want him to know exactly how I feel about it.
And so I tell him, “I sleep very well at night w/o insurance… but my ma don’t sleep at all unless i’m fully covered”.
Well this cat is now laughing on the floor, he’s thanking me for starting off his day right, but man i’m dead serious, I’m tired of paying for things that I don’t use anymore and some of these insurance co’s are going be cut down over here.
Now I didn’t get that far w/him b/c this was going to take some time and I had none then, but some company’s, who hate to lose customers, are now a one customer less company.
Until some months ago I used to think that golf was as widespread as soccer, hockey, volleyball, tennis and basketball.
This past July Andrey Martyanov did a post discussing Anglophone expatriates in Russia, and one reader said something about golf not being as prevalent.
Since then, I came across a few other comments on the internet hinting at the obscurity of golf in a similar vein as baseball. One even said golf was a rich man’s game.
Four years ago Masha and the Bear did an episode where the Bear goes golfing. It must have escaped my radar, because at the time the episode came out it never occurred to me that golf would be so uncommon in Russia. What didn’t (and still doesn’t) surprise me at all OTOH was that there were no episodes centering on baseball, cricket or rugby, but I digress.
So then, how ‘established’ is golf in Russia?
I think the Russians prefer practicing the ancient Iberian art of the Mortar Toss, derived from the Scot Kai’br lol p toss, just has a wee bit more bag!
Cheers M

I like Masha a lot, but I of course identify as a bear.
on the hunt for a worthy Nom de plume for the Poet, our dear Anomalous – Phenomenal, Singular, Remarkable, Discernible, Atypical, Especial, Incredible, Exceptional, Transcendental, Marvelous, Intuitive, Mystical
—–
Mr P – Hal is going ballistic! What is this Ultimatum he talks of? His words: “Russia has given the West/NATO an ultimatum and a date by which all its security demands pertaining to Ukraine should be met.” He may be jumping the gun.. Ryabkov just spoke hours ago; it is too soon.
And it appears no where else. I even held my nose and searched the BBC and NYT for first time since (the April brink?). Those rags had nada.
Lol… I’m sure those names were not meant to be humorous, A.H.H. but they gave me a laugh. The ever humble Anomalous’ cup runneth over with choices… ‘Atypical’…😂
Haha, some were tongue-in-cheek albeit synonyms of Anomalous. Exceptional! I can be slow and winced once I saw what I had posted there.. that one I would take back
But seriously, Anomalous is one of my favorite handles on Saker website and I will miss it. And I enjoy his poems maybe the most.. Giving him food for thought.
In contrast the one handle which raises the hackles the most is “war is coming”! Nothing against him, I actually usually agree with his content (and it often matches severity of his handle) but his handle is like a iron fist to the face in the morning. We do want to dream dreams of peace, no?
The anomalous nature of this anomaly surely is a result of unintended consequences which temporarily affected coherence ….
she says with eyes madly spinning in her head.
Let’s roll with the suggestions. How about, Moon Rabbit? or Deliciously Complicated.
Deliciously complicated… Your cooking credentials are showing, dear.
Thanks so much A.H.H. I will have to consult with my astrologer and numerologist
and hairdresser to come up with a new name
The skies surely the limit then, To be determined, and there will be no end.
Astropermologist, Afroman, Curly, Numbers by the Stars, From Hair to Eternity, Pythagoras Moon, Kid Rabbit,
Prophet Man, Kid Charlemaine, I could go on, but won’t…
Could not resist just one more… this is a winner for sure; Oh My Gourd
Thanks Dimitar but that is far too lofty a title for a simple fella like myself. I think I will just use the Gaelic version of my own name, Fionnbarra
Thanks all for hunting for a new name
Fionnbarra / formerly Anomalous
Nothing like a real name to avoid confusion, and such a stunningly beautiful word in and of itself. Blessings/love.
PS Would you mind giving us the phonetic pronunciation, ie; my name is pronounced Dim – i – tahr – rhymes with Czar or Tsar ), rolling Slavic “r” at end, just so we are not intoning some other less than correct version.
Phonetic pronunciation: Fionn rhymes with bun, the fi making a sound like fj in fjord. Barra is pronounced with two short ‘a’ s. If you want to roll the ‘r’s nobody will object.
The boy in this story has the same name, Fionn.

It is a beautiful story with deep meanings. The salmon is the only fish which swims upstream to it’s source and so is a metaphor
for wisdom which is gained by going upstream to the source of mind in the practise of meditation. Thus salmon of wisdom
It is essential to have humour in the face of ignominious lost names.
well, the hunt was on for a brand new name,
to fit the ever-changing rules of the game
whether guilty or innocent, anonymous was to blame;
we all chipped in just the same
‘A double H’ was first with his quips,
amarynth followed with a few more tips
dimitar was next with his mental back-flips
lest anomalous get’s stuck till the lunar eclipse
anna nomiless said something ’bout there being no end
the sky’s the limit amongst well-meaning friends
surely together we could buck all trends,
and find the perfect name that doesn’t offend
but at the end of the day it’s no contest
for the man in question must go on his quest
consult his hairdresser, the stars and the Guest
as to how he’ll finally be addressed…
Hah. Dimitar has taken to verse,
(We all hope the mod will see the humour, not be terse)
As a cafe collective is launched for poor Anomalous
Let’s hope the challenge is met, and not ponderous
Before scrolling the thread ole Whale had a bit of a spray
Not realising finding a new name was a game in play
Suggestions can be a bit of a hit and a miss
I’d like to be one to provide some Ambergris,
If sakers rules can’t be waived for friend Anomalous
Let’s search for something Synonymous

Remember reading about the Taliban and how they were going to ban drugs / opium production?
https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/international-news/middle_east/afghanistan-poised-to-become-largest-distributor-of-crystal-methamphetamine/
Like I argued I don’t think so. When money is easy, too easy it takes some serious character to say we’ll grow tomatoes instead!
Oh nonsense. Please consider the source: According to a BBC report …
Yeah right!
Okay, lets put it into question form who is this Dr. David Mansfield?
http://www.davidmansfield.org/home/index.html
Oh Gerry, go and look who he is and who he consults with. It is clear.
The western press always lies, obfusticates, creates a pretext, and so on. They never tell the truth, specifically the BBC who is a mouthpiece for the empire. It has been a dull roar in the background that Afghanistan is going to go back to the drug trade because the US is now out of there. The whole area, all of the neighboring states are being protected to avoid the US returning. This protection is either by a reliable neighboring state, or Russia or China, or Iran itself.
Of course, there is a drug trade. There is a drug trade in kitchens in the US I hear. They make all kinds of opiates which I have no knowledge of.
Afghanistan going back to the drug trade is an area of concern (seeing that all their money is being held to ransom and their people in poverty). There are formal methods set up to stop this and to slowly build an economy.
There is an expert working group called the Expert Working Group of the Paris Pact Initiative on combating Afghan opiates.
Do you see the man consulting for them? No, he consults for empire.
So, now to Afghanistan. China has in a manner of speaking adopted Afghanistan to rebuild an economy. The last two agricultural products that I saw China bought the whole crop, was nuts of some kind, and also Saffron, if I am not mistaken. Saffron is a high-value crop. Ephedrin and Opium are also base components for many pharmaceutical drugs. I’m sure besides smuggling that happens all over the world, China is buying a batch of this for their own production. But smuggled opium? I think China learned their lessons and are very sensitive to this.
What do you want the Afghans to do? They’ve been living on opium production. The US in 20 years did not build a functioning country or economy. One cannot just yank their production out and expect them to plant other crops overnight. They may not have the equipment or the know-how. There was press a little while ago that everyone that uses Heroin cannot find it, as all of a sudden it is off the streets in Canada and the US.
I hope this answers your question.
Perhaps it would be a good idea to talk To someone, rather than At them or put differently ,engage in a conversation, and not assume that one knows everything, or are right about whatever subject it is under discussion. Just a thought, especially at a time when goodwill is the key to so much., if not everything, and others are clearly engaged in doing exactly this, it is not always easy…
According to the addictions counselors I work with, there hasn’t been any heroin in Vancouver for quite a long time. It’s mostly all fentanyl now, which is why so many addicts are dying.
I learned from a dear friend that a prescription for pain relief I was taking Oxycontin had a street value of 200 a pill? Doctor prescribed only 10 for five days and no refill but it was odd the look the pharmacist lady gave me. I was nevertheless flabbergasted that I had in my hands a bottle worth 1000.00. I looked at my friend in total disbelief and argued no it can’t be Michael it just can’t. He however, proceeded to give me an education i will never forget. At home later that night I threw out the other 7 pills and never looked back.
When I say money is that easy to get that is the greatest motivator.
I have worked with saffron and it is terribly expensive. And so hopefully plant and grow thousands of acres of Saffron so it can become much more plentiful and inexpensive.
What a wonderful story and hope!

Hi everyone… some months ago I shared a little track dedicated to Russia, Donbass and true journalism…here it is remastered and with lyrics.
This is a little token for everyone – a modest contribution to our collective spiritual and media warfare struggle – if you like it, please help me share it! https://rumble.com/vqtho6-white-russians-by-parolata-feat-the-beatzmap.html
Thanks to the Saker and its community, as always, for offering broader and more complex horizons to readers!
Made me cry, ‘Parolata’; very passionate and impressive rap over a beautiful melodic figure and driving beat.
This is the difference between someone with a mission and strong belief compared to what arises out of merely
economic and selfish considerations as reason to create music, today.
Pozdrav od vashiot sonarodnik, Makedonecov, Dimitar!!
thank you for your kind words, мед ми капе на сърцето!
I am trying to get through to younger people with this. Though trap music annihilated actual rap presently.
I am going to produce a few other lyrics since apparently people’s attention span
is so crippled that, while I would love to write, I guess there are more chances to reach out
with this.
A video clip will come at some point.
I am working 24/7 to shape a little think-tank where Westerners and Eastern European/Russians can meet and have a frank and enlightening discussion about oh-so-many-things. What we love to discuss here needs a user-friendly output somehow.
If anyone can share this song, on non-Western channels especially, I would be very grateful since I really have little reach on VK and so on….
If you can connect me to artists of any field which may be interested in working together, I would be even more grateful.
Wonderful community, this Saker people…
Much news being dribbled out after the Putin/Xi Jinping online meet. The Russian press in English sounds quite jubilant. The Chinese press in English sounds very satisfied and contented.
This one floored me! I though they were overstating at first: “Russia, China set to turn joint border into belt of everlasting peace, says Putin ”
But it is so, he said that. While I wait for the readouts from both sides to be available, I’m following them bit by bit and this one is already in there.
I’m forming an opinion .. these two men look like men who have just won a battle. Energetic, upbeat and a very good vibe. That is where my opinion/first impression ends so far.
Another thing of major importance .. Russia & China to create new financial system outside Western control – Kremlin. This is complete .. it is there already. If anyone followed Maryanov’s latest video where he defines geo-politics roughly as having a financial system that works, and a military system to protect it and then you’re playing for the first team. The end of the financial world as we know it is imminent I think.
So, how is the one world government story standing up to scrutiny now? A friend tweets this morning: “If you still believe that after seeing this then you are living in denial that you have been following a bullshit narrative.”
OK, crystal ball stuff: I’ve said before that with the upcoming Olympics, this financial system will be clearly visible to the normal guy on the street. I stay with this.
One world government? Take a boo at this dear Amarynth you may be surprised or horrified to learn one world is entrenched in ways we can’t even begin to imagine or understand but beginning to. Can this really be happening in America?!?!?!?!?!?!?! See Pic…
From V.S. Soloyyev
U Chicago’s provost Ka Yee Lee in her CCP “Chairman Mao” uniform, along with the University’s newest administrative camp commandant, experimental chemist Paul Alivisatos in his (literally) CCP orange and blue party colors, (standing in front of a gateway with a fascinating resemblance to “Arbeit macht frei”), welcoming students to the People’s Re-Education Camp.[i] Right, make sure to pick up your new University textbook: 毛主席语录
https://www.theoccidentalobserver.net/2021/12/15/who-is-really-running-our-universities-the-architecture-of-conformity-the-case-of-the-university-of-chicago-and-the-rise-of-american-maoism/
Gerry, I don’t want to spend too much time on this, but really, if people believe this kind of stuff – I don’t know. Well, I do know. It is no strange thing then that they are horribly confused.
Let me make a few comments first on the content of what you present as a proof of a supposed one world government, or at least collusion – and that is a story about the University of Chicago. OK, I have it right so far? I went through it very quickly. I just basically looked at the pictures.
Bear in mind that I think all/most universities are now hotbeds of bad woke in western sphere. There are still unis that teach properly, or I hope so. But to try and pretend these things that they pretend is not good information and designed to select a specific type of person to present a specific type of information to in order to create a specific kind of outrage.
So, now, I know nothing about that Provost, but on checking, she was born in Hong Kong and based on age, Hong Kong was still under British rule, and also she must have left before mainland China took back Hong Kong as per the 100 year agreement. So, to call her a nationalist Chinese, is questionable already.
But how come it is good somehow to be a nationalist USA’ian, but presented as bad to be a nationalist Chinese? If a writer starts using these trigger words, one must sit back and take notice. They are there to trigger you and it is best not to be triggered and think a thing through from more than one side, no?
To show the top that she is wearing as “Chairman Mao” uniform is laughable. I have two such tops, light fabric, front buttons, no collar, very slightly tapered in the body otherwise it balloons, mine are short-sleeved, in my closet. If you think of Angela Merkel for example, that style is her trademark of clothing. It is basic, easy to layer up, easy to combine with something else, easy to dress up, or dress down – very versatile. That style is a standard in any working woman’s closet. This is what the Chairman Mao uniform looks like – nothing like it ..
Collar, 4 pockets, no tapering, a cotton or a denim cotton, usually blue or army green.
https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uniforme_Mao
So, they are making it up as they go along, and I urge you to start looking at these things with some more analysis and some discernment.
The gate that they pretend is similar to Auschwitz gate? These folks select for a visual informational perception that is just not there. The trigger word then is Auschwitz which makes the mind jump to Hitler. So, it is now Maoist and Hitlerist? If it is, the writers here are shooting themselves in the foot. The aerial photos of the campus to try and represent it as jail are just over the top yellow journalism. Go take a good look at that blue almost type of canvas just pulled over the buildings? What is it? Roll solar panel?
And then, color me very stupid, because the color of the beginning of the CPC through today is red. Has nobody ever heard of Mao’s Little Red Book? or the Red Chinese? The flag is red with yellow stars. What are they talking about blue and orange? How small must be a person’s general knowledge if they buy this color scheme as Mao’s color scheme?
OK, then they continue with all kinds of falsities and then they load on top of that mentions to the most hated of the day …. Rockefeller, Obama, Fauci, Gates .. the whole sorry lot – trigger trigger trigger.
I don’t want to take the time to debunk more but that should give you a flavor.
What I am saying is: what you’ve given me as a proof of one-world government or perhaps collusion does not even stand up in the details of it. I can fully accept the premise that this uni is going Maoist, but with this level of information, I cannot even read it as a premise. Overall it tones to white supremacy and also to very deep racism. Yeah, it’s the Chinese that ‘did it to us’ style with a whole lot of hated names thrown in to make it appear serious and pump the outrage – part of the current hatefest-China campaign to ready the US people for possible kinetic action. First, you make the other person appear less than human, so that your soldiers can shoot ’em with impunity.
It is writing like this that has now produced a raft of attacks on anyone that looks a little oriental in the streets of the US.
Don’t get triggered. I personally will be staying with this theme for a while, as this One World Government scare story has now become easy to debunk.
Oh boy.
As WW goes to prepare his bowl of popcorn, and I have PTSD flashbacks of the HMS Defender breezing full sails into Crimean waters, i want to send a STAT signal: please be gentle Mrs A.
Btw, did any catch Uncle Joe’s latest gaffe? At the DNC Holiday party he echoed another Uncle Joe’s truism, that it’s about “who gets to count the vote!” Gaffe or rubbing it in the face of long suffering Deplorables?!
Reminds of W’s epic statement, “Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.”
Mind in Meditation
Names and forms arise and cease
We watch them pass with mind at peace
Whatever contacts with the mind
We let them go, they fall behind
External sounds or smells or touch
Internal moods and thoughts and such
We let them go, the mind grows calm
The inner light, a healing balm
Mind single, full of light
Inner eye restored to sight
The inner fountain we find inside
With love for all we make it wide
No longer walking in our sleep
Into the heart we journey deep
Nowhere to go and no one to be
Simple joy of being free
From
“Romeo and Juliet”
(Act 2, Scene 2)
‘Tis but thy name that is my enemy;
Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.
What’s Montague? It is nor hand, nor foot,
nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
belonging to a man. O, be some other name!
What’s in a name ?
That which we call a rose
by any other name
would smell as sweet;
So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call’d,
retain that dear perfection
which he owes without that title.
‘Twas never anything more than me
That made the world and set you free.
Don’t gaze too long at illusion’s face,
Lest you lose yourself in its fond embrace.
Two principles in human nature reign;
Self-love to urge, and reason, to restrain
– Alexander Pope
The third principle insofar as determining the destiny of human beings – outcomes that arise out of the urges, and the efforts to restrain by reason as suggested by Pope – is the unsung path of No-Power. The path or way of No-power leads to the narrow way through the labyrinth of human desire and ensuing chaos as a result, as sure as day follows night, and leads to perfect emancipation. As power cannot be overcome by power, only the Path of No – Power can “save” man. There is no other way.
I should add that the Path of No-Power does not preclude keeping power in check ( just in case ), ie; in this world it may be necessary to have the back-up of power, just in case, as without such, the agents of the Negative Force
would simply destroy all that stands in their path, were there no power in place ( just in case one is threatened with annihilation as we’re seeing today in the case of Russia with Putin at the helm ). The Path of No-Power does not preclude the use of power in the event it is necessary should one be threatened with annihilation. What it means/encapsulates is a state of consciousness that is as closely aligned to the Will of the Divine as possible, and this means making every attempt to come to an accord with the opposing party.
An excerpt from The Mahabharata –
When asked a question from a self dependant person in control of his senses the reasons for his contentment, he replies –
“What use do I have for dharma or deeds. One comes under control of happiness that results from deeds and it is only misery that grows. When a person realises that wisdom is actually the foundation of all gratification of the senses, such a man is said to be wise. The senses cause confusion and sorrow. If a person is confounded because of the senses, such a person cannot obtain wisdom. Since I know everything created is always changeable, a person like me never suffers from fever. Good conduct alone can bring peace in the world hereafter. If a person does not possess intelligence or yoga, he cannot obtain happiness. There cannot be happiness without both fortitude and abandonment of misery. Anything that brings delight is pleasant. But delight also increases pride. Pride leads to hell. That is the reason I have discarded these. Sorrow and fear cause delusion and so do pleasure and pain. But I look upon these as an indifferent witness.”
Not sure if anyone has already posted this interview, sorry if it is old news to you, but I found it interesting to read..
“US looks like Soviet Union from outside, Qing Dynasty from inside.
Over the years, scholars from Russia, China and the West have studied the reasons for the dissolution. What are the most important lessons for today’s China from this event? Why are some politicians and scholars arguing that today’s US is walking the Soviet Union’s path? Global Times reporters Yu Jincui and Bai Yunyi (GT) talked to Zheng Yongnian (Zheng), presidential chair professor, acting dean of the School of Humanities and Social Science and the Founding Director of the Advanced Institute of Global and Contemporary China Studies, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, over these issues. “
