The Lover With Lips of Coral Pearl
You’ve found the love you want.
There she is, an angel beckoning
with a flame in one hand and cold
earth in the other. You’d throw
yourself into fire on her account,
but think well before you give
all of your secrets away to the
lover with lips of coral pearl.

Someone there accuses German people (even modern ones) of being an enemy nation just because their ancestors in 1933 voted for Hitler. (I’ve seen some people claim that Hitler got elected only after the opposition was removed. The whole thing probably warrants a clear-cut explanation which hopefully one of you can provide.)
I remember finding statistics showing how popular RT was in Germany, as an alternative to (presumably US-owned) German mainstream media, even before the recent ban. As such, and until proven otherwise, I find it hard to believe that the average German taxpayer wanted this.
Another thing: I choose not to resort to throwing labels at other people when speaking directly to them. Nor do I choose labels (like “realist” or “educated”) to ‘glorify’ myself. What’s the best advice if someone in an argument calls him/herself a “realist”? Do I take it with a grain of salt?
What’s the best advice if someone in an argument calls him/herself a “realist”?
Opinions and/or beliefs are ‘indefencibles’, ie, can be neither proven nor disproven through argument. Of course some people are the argumentative type, but if you aren’t you can simply say; ” I am a skeptic, good day, sir.”
Can one forgo ones highest values, happy support and enthusiasm of people for the temptation of security and money, and with promises of success, without eventual deep sorrow?
For all poets on this earth, whose words are immortal.
Vladimir Vyssotskii, with “Song of the Earth”:
https://youtu.be/t5PlgV5IaE8
(English translation)
Is the earth, as they say, burnt and dried?
Will a seed, as they say, never sprout?
Has the earth, as they say, really died?
No! It’s taken a lengthy time-out!
Mother Earth will forever give birth,
Its maternity isn’t a fiction!
Don’t believe that they burnt down the earth,
No! It’s blackened from grief and affliction.
Trenches, running like scars back and forth…
Bleeding guts black shell-craters expose…
They are open nerves of the earth,
Which unearthly unhappiness knows.
It will stand wars and grief – any thing!
It’s not crippled, though booted and looted…
Don’t believe that the earth doesn’t sing,
That it’s quieted down, diluted!
No, it’s singing as loud as it can
From a trench, from a wound, from a hole!
Since the earth is the soul of Man,
Boots cannot trample down the soul!
“You must teach your children
that the ground beneath their feet
is the ashes of our grandfathers.
So that they will respect the land,
tell your children that the earth is rich
with the lives of our kin.
Teach your children
what we have taught our children —
that the earth is our mother.
Whatever befalls the earth,
befalls the sons of the earth.
If men spit upon the ground,
the spit upon themselves.
This we know.
The earth does not belong to man;
man belongs to the earth.
This we know.
All things are connected
like the blood which unites one family.
All things are connected.
Whatever befalls the earth
befalls the sons of the earth.
Man did not weave the web of life;
he is merely a strand in it.
Whatever he does to the web,
he does to himself …”
— Chief Seattle
in order to know
God, man must first know himself,
and in order to
know himself, must separate
himself from all things
Apologies Sudhi, I’m not contradicting Chief Seattle’s words, but am going a step further
and pointing out the importance of non-identification – in the final analysis – with any
phenomenal manifestations within God’s worlds. The operative word being “things”.
Indigenous peoples have this connection to nature, which is entirely lost on the European or
‘white man’s’ way of thinking and behaviour. Not much, however, is spoken of the inner drive that
lies underneath all human endeavours, and that is to come to know and to re-establish one’s self
with God. Something that ironically, has little to do with one’s race, creed/religion or colour, but
has everything to do with the decisions one makes within one’s self and then lives by.
While we can agree that ultimately man should seek spiritual emancipation, we must also pay heed to the words of those who have had a close relationship with nature, as Chief Seattle. A knowledge distilled through lived experience from past generations, passed forward. As to how and in what form, is perhaps beyond our own levels of understanding, for we must become as them, in order to ‘know’.
As you often say, each have their own path…
being understood
holds more contradictions then
being understood
beauty begins in
the body of man but ends
beyond the scope
of man’s mind
Vladimir Vyssotskii’s song, and the final two lines ‘…Since the earth is the soul of Man, Boots cannot trample down the soul!’, this tells of how Russians feel their relation with the earth : immediate and passionate, and spiritual and joyful at the same time, joyful, “Russianness”, so unsentimental and powerful in essence.
To quote you Dimitar, beauty “beyond the scope of man’s mind” thank you, and for all thoughts.
Chief Seattle wrote “The earth does not belong to man; man belongs to the earth.” His words are truly a further development of the ‘belonging to the earth’ sense; i.e. we are not here for the earth, it is not ours, but it exists for all humanity – they objectify, building a cosmic bridge for east and west to meet.
Russia has developed supreme military prowess, but this is not this countries true power, which is of another kind, for which it has paid a huge price over centuries, and now stands at a terrible moment.
Have the laws of nature ever changed
Though with time man’s nature has changed
Weather passes through cycles of change
So is man’s conscience changeable
Could be people now be changed
Through physical transformation
Does today man seek to know God
When seeking to change man himself
Does this transfiguration involve
Destruction of biological certainty
Could people be newly transformed
Through destruction of old nature
Social distancing has made man disconnected
Life can only move forward through social interaction
Through inner harmony man becomes benevolent
Man could truly be changed
But only through spiritual metamorphosis
As a chrysalis changes into a butterfly
So can man change through revelatory light
“Man did not weave the web of life
He is merely a strand in it”
1. The laws of nature, being an expression of the laws of Spirit, have not changed, though the nature of individual men does change as man evolves spiritually. The individual man’s conscience therefore changes, as does the overall ‘conscience’ of men, societies, nations, even planets etc. It is a slow process both for man as individual and even slower as part of the collective groups mentioned above.
2. Man changes through cycles of experience that occur over time in the worlds of matter, energy, space, time. This is known as the Law of Life, nothing stays the same, but changes as a result of cycles of experience which
gradually lift man spiritually on an individual as well as collective level. Consciousness in man evolves.
3. The individual changes through cycles of experience over days, weeks, years, centuries etc. ( the individual; Soul, survives death and reincarnates according to his ledger of positive and negative accounts, and reaps the outcomes of his past decisions from one life to the next ). As the individual slowly evolves in spiritual understanding, so the collective spiritual consciousness of groups also changes over time, acc. to the Law of Life.
4. Man did not weave the web of life, he is merely a strand in it”. A very important strand. As the individual Soul evolves and establishes itself at a higher state of consciousness, so the collective state of humankind slowly changes and moves forward.
5. The chaos we are seeing today is the result of the “decisions we made yesterday”, as individuals and as groups, ie; societies, ethnicities, nations etc. If we are currently on the planet, it is because we as individuals and as groups, still have lessons to learn here.
Having read all your verses and thoughts, I agree.
This is the crux of the philosophy, to be at peace with one another. So easy to say, and to act, but to achieve social peace is a tight rope walk.
Dear friend, I agree with what you’ve said. However, since we’re being precise, we need to qualify that first and foremost, we need to be at peace with ourselves. This is challenge enough and very difficult to achieve. Achieving
‘social peace’ is another order of affairs which entails another set of playing rules.

Recently I resolved to read “Tragedy and Hope, A History of the World in Our Time” (Carroll Quigley), and found a copy in pdf. Since we are on the cusp of a Winter, the solstice an’ all that, such a lengthy task seems like a pretty fair project.
I wonder if any of my collegial friends hereabout are familiar with this text and, if so, whether they would be so kind as to share their thoughts about it.
……………..@ joey_n (“realist”) I suppose it matters what the “argument” is about. For example, if the matter was about realism… But generally, it seems to me to represent a claim implied about the other, a cloaked ad hominem attack, as in “I am a realist, and you are delusional”. Since the other has chosen this method, there’s not much point in going on with the discussion, unless you can demonstrate that his “realist” statements are objectively false and get the other to “realize” his error, while also showing that your position is objectively sound. And it matter what the goal is…a debate score? Or actually a mutual advantage via dialectic advancement of knowledge, stuff like that. It’s a judgement call for you. If it’s in the realm of common speech, yes, a grain of salt and proceed. As in, “Oh yes, and so am I myself a realist, is this not the natural basis of our discussion?” and then proceed. Of course it may be that the other is correct, and it may be a good idea to consider that as a possibility.
I wonder what you mean by term “argument” – wiki has a rather well-done page under the title “argument”. This matters.
About the German People as “enemy” – the vote was heavily biased by numerous methods, but the NSDAP of ’33 was not the NSDAP of the later period – the bald fact? The people were deceived by hope. When they began to realize the facts, more or less by ’41, the die had been cast. Recall that it was England that started the war, and the big finance and intriguers that created the misc en scene, and financed both Churchill and Hitler in the period. The admittedly odd David Irving has a worthwhile exploration of both men and the period, albeit suppressed. For myself, I see the ordinary volk, (and the people in general now, and then), as victims.
It’s almost Winter. Enjoy the reading.
Regards to all.
Re the German elections of almost a century ago….
We’ve seen again and again in our lifetimes politicians promise a platform, win wildly popular support, only to renege once in office.
So many many examples.
But perhaps none as dangerous and consequential as Zelensky in Ukraine.
His promise was peace with Russia.
The Ukrainians voted overwhelmingly in support.
But now have been dragged to the precipice….as have we all.
Yes. It is so. I recall the recent Global Times white paper on Democracy, and the lines about “waking up the people to vote, and then sending them back to sleep whilst the powerful do as they themselves desire”…more or less (the precise quote lies somewhere in my screwy files)
I see John Helmer has a bit to say about the war factions in US, and Germany being in a difficult spot. Something about atomic machines and rockets.
Whatever human willful desires may be, pro or con, the reality is that if a machine is built, a machine such as a massive military dedicated to aggression, that machine has “machine intent”. All machines have a death-wish, whether the machine is a toaster, or a gun, or a steam engine. Some machines are well-behaved, and die quietly and slowly, as when the engines rattles to a stop with worn bearings, or the gun rusts away. Other machines are diabolical. Sometimes a machine is stopped by an individual, as at Okinawa in 1962, or in B-59 at Cuba. Don’t count on this, but it does happen. The machine then re-starts.
(@ Okinawa the fellas manning the MACE robot bombs aimed at China (mostly) got the firing order, with the machines hot and running … And one man stopped the process. At gun-point. In B-59 another coincidence prevented firing a nuclear torpedo.)
In present circumstance, the esteemed and celestial rulers are looking at losing power domestically. All wars stem from domestic political considerations. They have lost control. And the lampposts are always present.
My interpretation of “The judgment of the whore of Babylon”.
An angle said to me:
“Come, I will show you the punishment of the great Whore, who rules the Seas. (The Vatican)
The whore is the great city (the Vatican) that spiritually rules 7 kings of Europe.
The whore is drunk from the blood of Christian saints and the witnesses of Jesus.
The whore holds in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the impurities of her sexual immorality.
7 kings of Europe conspire and fornicate with the whore, and people who idolize the whore are intoxicated with immorality.
The whore is riding on a military beast.
The military beast was first erected by the 7 Kingdoms and 10 vassal nations of Europe.
The vassal nations have one purpose: to yield their power and authority to the military beast.
In previous history the military beast was in Jerusalem (the Roman and Crusader armies) and is no more.
But the Beast has risen again and again to create destruction, and all the Khazarian Jews who dwell on earth marvel when they see the beast.
The military Beast of today is a Nation (USA) created by the 7 Kings of Europe.
However from its inception the beast (USA) was intended to end in destruction and servitude.
Today the 7 Kingdoms, 10 Vassal states and the Beast (USA) has joined to make war against all Christians.
But the Christians will triumph.
Then the 10 Vassal Nations and the beast (USA) will hate the whore.
They will expose and rape her; they will burn her with fire and eat her flesh.
Is there something I have missed?
Hi Mr P,
I kinda knew about England’s role in starting WWII, but I’m not sure that it’s immediately obvious for some in the Russian-speaking internet, if certain commentary that puts the blame squarely on Germany, saying that Stalin was wrong to oppose the Morgenthau Plan in 1945, etc. is any indication.
In the end I decided not to argue with this “Artur Muselimyan” fellow any further, so I’ll let his boastful claims of me being a “demagogue” slide.

My latest article looks at a government-endorsed rave in the Saudi desert that’s pushing the limits of the conservative kingdom’s rapid social changes.
1 A music festival with men and women dancing side by side would have been unthinkable in Saudi Arabia 5 years ago – this year, organizers of “MDL Beast” say 180,000 attended their opening night.
2 The music festival was part of a dizzying month in which Saudi Arabia hosted a Formula One race, two separate art biennials, a visit by French President Emmanuel Macron and an international film festival. More on why and what that means,
3 The party in the Saudi desert looked like any other rave until the music stopped for the Islamic call to prayer….
4 Women flaunted their style, wearing everything from skintight pants to full-length robes and face veils. Inebriated men stumbled through crowds perfumed with the distinct scent of marijuana, alongside a limited but notable display of local queer culture.
5 Total attendance at this Saudi music festival over four days reached 732,000, officials say. Worth watching local coronavirus case rates in coming days as Saudi health authorities warn of the risk the Omicron variant poses to the country.

EUROPEAN Energy Crisis: Day-ahead electricity prices across much of Europe set fresh and frightening record highs.
Germany jumps to an incredible €431 per MWh.
At current prices, energy-intensive industries will rather shut down and re-sell their power on the spot market
Replies:
>Prices are so high that they changed the scale of the Y axis lol
>What exactly happened here? Still looking for a good explanation based on facts rather than the same old political talking points. Eg what’s so different about this year in particular?
>Russia
>Russia was around all the other years as well… and the same issues with Ukraine and gas have existed ever since that conflict started.
>Russia wants EU countries to approve its Nord Stream 2 nat gas pipeline. They are restricting supply to force prices up and saying “if you approvae Nord Stream 2, we can supply more gas and prices will drop”.
>. And, now, prepare to be amazed … France at 645€
> Worth noting for Norwegians. What’s happening is that renewables can’t produce enough electricity to meet demand so we need to use fossil fuels such as gas and the high CO2 price has lead to increased cost per unit so it’s dragging electricity prices upwards.
>What if we just shut down the cables to Europe?
>We just installed cables to the UK and Germany so more price convergence unfortunately (likely more expensive as they use more fossil fuels which again are sensitive to higher carbon emission taxes)
my monthly gas electric was 55£ in October… now it is 88£. wow .Flaming heck .
Hi JJ.
My understanding is that these are forward prices.
From my reading of this tweeper, and #OOTT, the European gas and electricity suppliers, especially in UK* offered their customers fixed prices, and now caught in the – pay high, forced to sell low – squeeze, more than 20 have now gone bankrupt.
The UK prices are fixed till April, and then, these prices are getting passed on to domestic users. BAM.%@#$!
Businesses, who are also paying these prices, are going to pass their increased costs on also.
Someone is at the end of the pass the parcel…. And it’s gonna really hurt.
Already countries like, I think Estonia, are saying government will subsidise the cost for some… we’ll see how that works.
In Australia when governments sell a policy to help the “battlers”, somehow their BigBoy mates all get a ginormous slice of the “assistance” pie, and the battlers get crumbs.
*ok. UK no longer in EU, but 50 years of integration doesn’t end with a pen.
Also. The UK likes to cherry pick. They are both simultaneously “not EU”, and “still EU”, depending on what suits them best at any moment.
Interesting, Poland is paying about half the EU electricity prices, as their Soviet era grid still uses coal.
More from @JavierBlas
EUROPEAN energy crisis: Medium and small European energy retailers continue to drop like flies. Lots of attention in the UK, but Netherlands also suffering. The latest is Fenor Energie, the 5th retailer to go into bankruptcy in recent weeks in Holland.

>Why did western governments refuse to sign long term gas contracts with Russia, thus guaranteeing massive increases in domestic energy bills?
>[Answer] Because
2/ The market is betting on extremely low European gas inventories by the end of this winter, and not much flow from Russia over the summer to re-build stocks before the onset of the 2022-23 winter.
Would Brussels intervene in the market in any way to avoid a 2nd winter gas crunch?
Replies
>How can intervention be done? This is not like central banking with bank liquidity?
>How would such an intervention from Brussels look like?
>What could Brussels do to avoid a 2nd winter gas crunch other than enter into long-term #natgas contracts with Gazprom, which used to be the standard for the market and have been offered by Putin repeatedly?
>Ummm, tell me dear, is the Gazprom the only gas provider in the world?
>Not the only one. Just the only one accessed via pipeline.
>So China has built pipeline from Qatar? I’ve completely missed something?
>Russia has built a pipeline to China & last week announced a second pipeline from fields that are already connected to Europe. Europe is playing a terrible hand badly. It should sign long-term contracts with Gazprom and spend billions on nuclear. Windmills & solar won’t cut it.
>Seems Brussels is slowly returning to back to reality: EU Likely to Put Gas, Nuclear in Green Lists, Commissioner Says. The European Union will likely include gas and nuclear power as sustainable green-energy investments in its proposed list to be unveiled.
>Why is Germany scrambling for last-minute amendments to EU’s “Green” “Sustainable” #CleanEnergy Taxonomy? The draft EU CO2 emissions limits for #NatGas power plants are so low that Germany won’t get low-cost funding to build new gas-powered plants.
>Nordstream2 is stoped by Germany. The sooner it flows, the sooner this can be fixed.
>What happens when Ukraine can’t afford the gas? Will the EU show solidarity or will the richer countries just out price them?
>Brussels is only capable of can-kicking…
>Then someone rig their legs to a dynamo and get them generating some energy.
even Tymoshenko the other day berated Ukraine’s gov for not building up reserves from their own extensive gas and coal resources…..
Gas on dutch spot market just gone up 25% in one day.
Hyper inflation is here surely.
I think I should cash up some unvestments(considering all that is probably topsy turvey) and buy some forest acreage… trouble is I don’t have a woodburner stove…..yet. May have to move to cottage with one…….? Then I need a chainsaw….some means of forest transport quad drive or horse and logging system…..hey coal would be good but UK has a policy of no more mining..but you can own a coal mine in the Forest of Dean for own consumption but you gotta know what you are doing…maybe UK should go back to making gas from coal 300 yr reserve….ooops. Well if Poland can still produce coal from mines……..
Yesterday, I was having German sausage 🌭, brats and bear, in Leavenworth WA at a restaurant sharing a fire table with strangers. They were Russian from Siberia. I started a conversation, and somehow it became about politics. Soon I find out they are as brainwashed as my American friends and have a very negative view of Putin . This isn’t the first instance I met Russians that dislike Putin. They also appear to think US is the greatest place on earth or something. I suppose American propaganda must be extremely effective to convince this couple to move to the US from Sibir and be unfriendly to Putin… I know Ukrainians working in US that believe regarding the situation in Ukraine is because Putin is evil, Russia wants to restore the USSR , etc. That makes me wonder how is it possible that I have not met anyone yet from Russia or Ukraine in the US, that can’t see past propaganda?
My own chance meeting with Serbian fellas was the other way. They praised VVP and “Mother”, and bragged that they fought NATO in the Yugoslavian Crime Scene…even claimed they were in AD, and “got one”. This chance meeting by a stream and camp fire, with vodka and bourbon, on west-coast north America, two or three years ago… Great guys as friends. Obviously deadly as enemies. Tough as tool-steel and kind as Saints.
I suspect that the sentiment has to do with class, not nationality or ethnicity. And, of course, it might make a difference if NATO has tried to kill a fella. Getting shot at make for some “resolve”. Sorta a “no more Mr nice guy” thing.
Try the forest and the displaced working class expats…
Propaganda works on a tried and true principle being if you repeat something enough, it will become reality in the unguarded person’s mind. The subtle imputation is always that should one diverge from the narrative one risks becoming an outcast from the society of which they are a part of, ie; the unconscious herd instinct in the human animal.
I encounter this on a daily basis where various memes embed themselves in the subconscious mind of the individual and the person not only takes it as truth, but defends it as sacrosanct and is willing to fight for it, entirely unaware that they are simply regurgitating someone’s postulate.
It’s ironic that in the so-called “woke” culture, just how many people are actually walking zombies and have no interest in questioning these implants, let alone being capable of objective thinking and coming to their own conclusions.
There are lots of Russians in WA state. In Vancouver, WA Russian is the 2nd most spoken language. I asked around, Where they all came from and why. They came in the 90’s when Putin came to power. Tthere has been a resurgence of faith in Russia and Catholics, Muslims, Jews, Protestants, are welcome but not dispensationalists. These are the Scofield Bible people. VP did not want them so they came to WA. Supposedly they have the franchise on various mafia activities – cars, prostitution and identity theft. From what I hear they are very anti Putin.
Ongoing in the matter of the demands and the promise of “military-technical” means, in this matter the precise meaning of the term escapes me. Military of course can be static, or active. So I tried…and get the idea that “technical” in this phrase means the military response or action will be, as we might say, “active” or kinetic. Thus I think that the term means, in context “active military force shall then take place.”. The root “tek” in slavic languages seems to have the idea of action, felling a tree, sort of. The application of force to do an art…
Russian speakers, what say y’all? Am I seeing what’s not there?
I am Macedonian and Putin has thanked Macedonia for giving Russia their alphabet, ‘Kirilica’ or Cyrillic… ‘tek’, or
‘vo tek’ in Macedonian, means “in process”, or “having set in motion”… Most Russian words as far as I can tell, are in essence the same as Macedonian.
Macedonian; tek = stream, da techi; to flow
Sanskrit; tik = stream.
According to Sanskrit-English dictionary –
Ṭik (टिक्).—1 Ā. (ṭekate) To go, move
1) To go.
2) To attack, assail.
3) To wound.
4) To seek to injure or kill.
5) To challenge; also written तिग् (tig)
https://www.wisdomlib.org/definition/tik
Had a discussion with some ‘experts’ today and posed the question. Nobody really knows, but I think it is helpful to look at the full phrase. It was ‘military’ and ‘military technical’ and it was ‘counter threat’ mechanisms. So, taken from that perspective, it means : We Will Deter You!.
Just been through Ryabkov’s major interview with interfax but still only available in Russian – English tomorrow I hope – and there is a phrase there: The time for diplomatic phraseology has passed.
So that might mean kiss your ass goodbye :-)
Yes, Thanks!

Excuse me, your linguistic question tempted me away from your question re the meaning of a term of military RU. “Military-technical” obviously has nothing (or very little) to do with RU “tech’”. Indogermanic underground connections between ru tech’ and gr tekn- may still exist, but hardly in the minds of RU military personnel).
I assume things like building a bridge are meant: having a bridge where you need it or not having one makes a big difference militarily, but still bridges and bridgebuilding are not military wunderwaffen per se. It’s as with military sport, military medicine etc.

Hi Mr. P., for answering your question I wrote one text about the linguistic side you were wondering about and wanted it placed beneath your question, then remarked that I had answered only the second part of your question (how can it be explained) but not the primary, translator’s, question ‘what does this here mean’, and thus wrote a second text to be placed again below your text, as an addition to the first one.
All this to find out that the first part of my answer to your text has debilely been placed out of context, at the end of all texts, and that the second part had been altogether censored unjustly because no rules were broken in/with it. In sum, someone among the censors, uh, modz did his best to make me look stupid
and incompetent. And this in the silent, hinterfotzig way typical for agents of germ govt crime. Is this a new policy of this site or a personal gimmick or just a side effect of the new world order, at long last placing german, german idiocy, infamy and fiddling over all it.
You Mr. P. Should still get a complete answer to your question, so I’m posting it again, despite all the dangers this answer might pose for the just rising new age of Germ Weltherrschaft:

I have to be lighthearted a little. But it is actually lightheaded. The technical part of the ‘military technical’ phrase I think just dropped. Shoigu dropped it. RT wrote a clickbaity headline.
Hypersonic missiles incoming, says Russian defense minister
https://www.rt.com/russia/543880-high-tech-hypersonic-missile/
Of course, it is highly ‘technical’. “The missile’s speed, combined with a reduced radar cross-section, will theoretically enable it to reach targeted aircraft carriers without a chance for defense or retaliation. It is also meant to be able to intercept enemy supersonic missiles.”
Give demands to NATO and USA – Bang

“Above snakes” is an expression meaning “still alive” and derives from the American wild west…
Above Snakes
Well, my friends are all dead
But here I still am,
I’m old and I’m grey
And I’m still on the lam.
I used to be rich
But them’s the brakes,
Despite everything
I’m still above snakes.
After the gold rush
Up in the Klondike,
Had me some fun
After my strike.
Had me a lass;
Still brings an ache,
My heart ain’t the same,
But I’m still above snakes.
Had me a kid,
Tried to go straight.
Left with his mum
When he was eight.
They took what they could
With a final handshake,
Been alone since
But I’m still above snakes.
Well, I’m stubborn and ornery,
I’m dumb and I’m mad.
I’m careless and crude
I’m happy then sad.
I’m simple in the head
And I may be a flake,
But there must be a reason
Why I’m still above snakes.
I’m a kookaburra
I sit high in the gum tree
Watch the ground assiduously.
I’m way up above, sniping for snakes
The slightest rustle in the leaf litter
That’s all it takes
I swoop and snatch
A snakey meal is a good catch
Yeah I’m a kookaburra, way, way above snakes.
If you notice me watching, watching with intent
Then stay well away from the long grass,
Be a clever gent.
well, I laugh all day,
it’s really a cinch,
till the time it comes
I feel the pinch
I alight to my branch,
and take my stance,
I squint my eyes,
and start to glance
till I see my chance,
there on the ground
and swoop right down
without a sound
snakes are best
whether big or small,
but they can’t hear me
and it’s their downfall
be a good, gent
and stand aside,
till my belly’s all full
and I’m satisfied!
Hi, Mr. P., Langenscheidt’s Taschenwörterbuch RU-DE by Karl Blattner (1960) offers:
tech’ (tetsch for the germs among us): (verb) to flow
from there: tekutchyj: flowing, running, also as in dzhermskij “laufend”, including e.g. ..”laufendes” Jahr, i.e. this year now, current bank account etc; techenie, something flowing, a river etc, also running away/out: a leak. One may assume that also tok – Strom (river; electric current) is a variant of the same t*k stem.

Say what you will about Zelensky. He knows how to network and “work” a room.=
Eastern Partnership summit, December 21
The leaders of the EU, of the EU member states and of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries met for the 6th Eastern Partnership summit in Brussels on 15 December 2021.
Charles Michel, President of the European Council, chaired the meeting. President Michel and Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, represented the EU.
Partnership
The leaders welcomed the agreements the eastern partners and the EU have concluded or are presently negotiating:
* the full entry into force of the Association Agreements (AAs) and Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Areas (DCFTAs) with Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine
* the entry into force of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the EU and Armenia in March 2021
* the progress in the negotiations between the EU and Azerbaijan on a new comprehensive agreement
The EU acknowledged the initiative of the trio of associated partners (Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine) to enhance their cooperation with the EU.
The EU regrets the decision of the Belarusian authorities to suspend their participation in the EaP and looks forward to resuming cooperation as soon as the necessary conditions for a peaceful democratic transition are in place to build on a joint agenda based on common values and shared interests.
In the meantime, the EU continues to engage with and support Belarusian citizens, civil society and independent media, including through a comprehensive plan of economic support for a democratic Belarus of up to €3 billion.
[So, that’s €3b earmarked for the Belorussian color revolution. Ukraine, Cookie Monster Nuland told us, cost $US5b. So they want a discount on Belarus]
So. Zelensky. What a busy boy he is:
1/ Coordinated positions with @CharlesMichel before the 6th Eastern Partnership Summit. Our goal is Ukrainian full membership in EU.
Informed about the situation on the eastern borders. We expect clear signals following the @EUCouncil meeting on Dec 16 on the inadmissibility of escalation.
2/ Glad to discuss important areas of Ukrainian and Azerbaijan
cooperation with @azpresident. Expressed interest in further developing relations between our countries. Reckon on the participation of Azerbaijan
companies in large privatization and construction in Ukraine. Invited @azpresident to visit Ukraine.
3/ Slovenia became the 7th country to sign a declaration in support of Ukraine’s European perspective. Thank you @JJanasaSDS for a firm support and important assistance in implementing the reforms. Prospective investment projects in Ukraine and Slovenia were also discussed.
4/ It was a pleasure to meet @OlafScholz. Look forward to deepening Ukraine Germany cooperation in the fields of energy, security and defense. Reckon on Germany’s support for the Euro-Atlantic course of Ukraine. Invited @OlafScholz to visit Ukraine.
5/ Discussed the issue of Ukraine French cooperation with @EmmanuelMacron. I hope that France’s presidency of @EUCouncil will pay special attention to Ukraine’s security and countering hybrid aggression of Russia in Europe.
6 / During the meeting with @EmmanuelMacron and @OlafScholz
thanked for their strong support for Ukraine against the background of the military threat of Russia, as well as for the consistent position of Germany and France in the Normandy format. Confirmed willingness to continue our work.
7/ At the meeting with @snachezcastejon, informed about the latest steps of Ukraine on the path to European integration. Reckon on Spain’s support for the European perspective of Ukraine at the bilateral level. Discussed further cooperation in promising areas of bilateral interaction.
8/ Invited Belgium to join in supporting European aspirations of Ukraine
by signing the Declaration. Also invited Belgium investors to participate in infrastructure projects in Ukraine.
9/ Discussed with @karlnehammer the implementation of joint Austrian Ukraine projects. Reckon on further strengthening of Ukrainian-Austrian cooperation. Austrian business opens new perspectives on the Ukrainian market. Highly appreciate Austria’s participation in the #CrimeaPlatform Summit.
10/ Congratulations to the Crimean Tatar people & the whole of Ukraine on a landmark victory. @UNESCO included Örnek in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. It is a worthy recognition of the originality of qırımlılar & the beauty of Ukrainian cultural mosaic.
11/ During the meeting with @jensstoltenberg we discussed the situation in the east of Ukraine and in the temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as deepening cooperation between Ukraine and @NATO. Grateful to @jensstoltenberg for the Alliance’s solidarity with Ukraine.
12 / Grateful for EU support for Ukraine. Yesterday at #EaPsummit, today –
@Europarl_EN resolution on the situation on the Ukraine border! Military action against Ukraine will have a high economic & political cost for Russia.
The threat to Ukraine’s security is a threat to peace & stability of the whole EU.
13/ I had a good talk with @BorisJohnson
Energy security issues were discussed. We coordinated next steps to de-escalate the situation around Ukraine and peaceful settlement in Donbas. I appreciate the firm and unwavering UK support for sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
14/ A couple of tweets about the Czech Republic – interesting – as to why these only ones he didn’t provide in English.
thanks for that …one wonders what exactly are the possibities and willingness for EU countries and businesses to invest and develop with Ukraine…..if one is cynical ….maybe market gardening?
https://arstechnica.com/science/2021/12/a-state-aligned-russian-newspaper-reviews-the-space-program-and-its-scathing/
Germany could halt Russian space program with one keystroke… I wonder what other type of rockets and missiles use that chemical..? Military ones?
And China can start it again with another keystroke I’m sure.
I’m beginning to think Muti Merkel is the only thing (oops, person) that kept Germany together. With the current bunch, they are losing relevance as the clock ticks.
A few things not necessarily related:
Mr P, remember when we spoke about the Chilean martyr and guitarist/poet/singer Victor Jarra?
I did not follow the Chilean election at all and was only peripherally aware of the massive street action over the past I think two years. So, this morning I went to update quickly. How amazing – remember these folks were not yet born when Victor Jarra was killed. Look at them today – the whole bunch out with their guitars singing Jara songs for this new revolution. He truly inspired profoundly.
https://twitter.com/ErikaOSanoja/status/1188098725618561024
And the caption there is “The dictatorship cut off your hands, Víctor Jara, and today #Chile plays and sings your songs.”
Small happiness abound!

Different topic. Slowly but surely the underlying reason for Russia’s actions is bubbling up to the surface. I cannot see what is first, second or third .. but there is not only one reason for the timing. Perhaps first is that the military threat has become untenable, but what is bubbling up now certainly is the idea that the USA is so close to implosion, that the Russians absolutely have to start controlling something somewhere – in order to start picking up pieces like nuclear pieces scattered all over Europe in the hands of madmen. I don’t know how? Do they want them to be in control of who? or do they want them to be shipped home? Dunno.
But if this implosion/collapse is just around the corner, you all USA’ians should be prepped up and settled in a newish lifestyle.
—————
Yet another topic. We often go off the reservation completely and would easily roll a bunch of sushi rolls for things like Christmas, especially if there are guests with kids, and we all can roll together. I’ve found another suitable do-it-together food. How fun would it be to all make dumplings together? Look at how beautiful they make the dumplings – the hands know just exactly what to do. I think I’ve changed our Christmas menu to dumplings. (That is, if we get the day off – it’s been busy).

fitting to the spirit of the Russian Civilisation to their minorities and natives and to

what, after all,
has love to do with
time and place?
the fine line
between truth and illusion
is laid bare by love
I am ready
to accept your gift but are
you ready to accept mine?
the word transforms
the doubtful seeker into
the incandescent
lover of God
the right act
is the act which best serves
the progress of all
miracles?
it all depends on
whether you believe if they’re

love is the only thing

“Strange Currents”
O Khusrow, the river of love
creates strange currents
the one who would surface
invariably drowns
while the one who submerges,
survives
– Amir Khusrow
O, river of love, river of love,
I’m parched and I’m dry
and in need of a drink.
I’ve loved and I’ve lost
and I’m paying the cost;
Now nothing’s the same
As what I used to think.
Wherever I go and whatever I do,
the things that I knew
and thought were true,
No longer make sense
or provide recompense.
You tease and beguile
like a desert mirage,
Your face lies hidden
and camouflaged.
Your touch so soft,
comes back to haunt,
And your memory so dear
tempts and it taunts…
River of love, river of love,
What have you done,
and where have you gone?
Giver of mercy, giver of grace,
Please show me the way
to the River of Love!
Heart-felt thanks to all for the help understanding term “military-technical”. I suppose that if this were 1914 the term would be, in English, “mobilization for war”, more or less. It’s obviously an active meaning. Something like, in the vulgar language of a biker bar, “either you pick up your chit and get out, or we’ll do it for you.” Such matters have time elements. And it means that the Russian (and Chinese) military establishments are going “hot”.( As in “This is not a drill”)
@ odyssy I see “The US may be arming Ukraine for a counter attack in Russia. Russia has given the US, 26 days to respond to their new conditions.” A very recent transmission of Russian TV “60 Minutes”.
One may recall the twin lesser gods of war, “Deimos and Phobos were twin sons of Aphrodite and Ares. They were most often associated with their father in his role as the god of battle. The two represented different types of fear. Deimos was the personification of dread and terror. Phobos embodied panic and the urge to run away.” The evident anxiety and urgency in the recent speech by great intellectual @ Univ S Carolina (“hysterics”) seems to suggest that these lesser gods have infected the great leadership of zone A. The poor old fella is scared out of what’s left of his wits. Many people must be remembering the phrase “command and control locations…” Speaking of targets…I am wondering about submarines along US Atlantic Coast.
I don’t know if it’s ok to give a url for Odysee. The show runs an hour.
And I see RT /en has a long news segment on very sexy anti-drone drone, unusually long. And features VVP saying “US can’t be trusted to honor its promises” as well as a story about chemical in nazilandia…
Considering VVP as a lawyer-prosecutor and the peoples, all of them, as a court, it seems like a petition to the court to authorize, issue an order, to force a brigand gang to obey.
The Odysee bit specifically says “ultimatum”. And “26 days”. It’s not clear to me when the count started, hence when is day zero.
RT de seems often better than RT en. (I read German, but slowly)
So, when, friends, is day zero? I shall mark the calendar.
No one is ever ready for war.
23rd Feb is Defender of the Fatherland day…….?
Yes, and the 14th is an ecclesiastical holiday. Circumcision of Christ, if I recall correctly.
If we assume the Ultimatum was given on the Dec 15th and made public 2 days later on the 17th, then 26 days later is January 10.. And as D. Orlov noted, “December 31st through January 9th is a national holiday in Russia.”
The criminals like to time events during weekends, holidays, major sports gatherings, so this is another target.
and in combination with military doctrine of wanting to change the tempo according to ones own initiative, hence faster than 26 days, perhaps answering the Ultimatum in 2 days time (Dec 24) plays into speeding up things so the critical period may be Dec 24-31.
But it boils down to what is the end game of the western arsonists? They killed off the economy and industry. Universal Basic Income is already being withdrawn and is unsustainable. They are ensuring cut-off of most (all?) energy sources to their peoples, deliberately and systematically. They shut down nuke plants, wasted a decade and more on unreliable exorbitant wind/solar, withdrew from stable economical long-term gas contracts and the coup-de-grace did not fill their reservoirs sufficiently nor order replacement spot-market gas so that Yamal and others are now empty.. And deliberate war being fomented against both Russians and Chinese which provide existential fuels and resources. They are not merely engineering a dark winter, it is a genocide of their peoples. And they are not impressed by current massive civilian protests. The technocratic bureaucrats are as ubiquitous and replaceable as condoms to the Cabal behind the scenes.
This is enforced collapse in matters of weeks, unprecedented in savagery and evil. And most remain clueless and think it is ignorant or incompetent leadership, a totalitarian Reset, etc.. Far bigger moves are in play. Herr Schwab is the matador with the red cape, mesmerizing the lemmings.. War with Russia/Ukraine is another red cape. At current pace, there will be nothing to reset to nor wherewithal to rebuild.
In past when elites wanted to dislocate excess large segments of their population, they might burn down a portion of the city or raise taxes to intolerable levels or spark a war (like Crusades, a useful outlet to bleed off second and third sons). Is Europe now being emptied?
Imagine no energy supplies whatsoever from Russia (and Europe has few resources anyway, hence traditional preference for naval looting expeditions), scarce food supply, no industry or means of livelihood, foreign natives who can defend themselves against looting expeditions, or even lack of European security with rampant migrant crime and civil strife.. and coasts perhaps wiped clean with engineered tsunamis. If current management is maintained, Europe will be unlivable.
Do the elites hope to drive Europeans east to inhabit desired slavic lebensraum? Ha!
And some sects of muslim eschatologists believe Gog and Magog are the European (Caucasian) peoples, who will descend en masse to the Holy Land in numbers of 200,000,000. Some sects of Christian eschatologists on other hand believe the Chinese are building AI-powered humanoid armies numbering 200,000,000 which will march south-west after the imminent cataclysmic Armageddon. Each religion has its strange understanding of that group!
But what would it take to force 200,000,000 off their land and to migrate so far? Could current events be preparatory, for survivors forced out of an unlivable Europe? Stranger migrations have occurred in past human experience for sure.
Y’all got a point there Amigo. I am not sure about whether it’s a desired deliberate operation, or simply “machine intent”. But you have described precisely the shape of the thing and where it’s going.
In mitigation, recall Sophocles’ Antigone> “Evil appears as good in the minds of those that the gods lead to destruction”. ie they’re nuts.

The Taliban commander who led the operation, Mohamad Bashir, has issued threats to the Pakistanis saying that he will turn the area into a war front if the Pakistanis attempt to set up the barbed wire fence again.
Meanwhile, Zabiollah Mujahid stated a little while back that “Pakistan is not an Islamic country. The Pakistani government does not care about Islam.”

Film “Titanic” 1943 (nazi propaganda film) https://youtu.be/MELN-yD0QFE may interest some at this here symposium. It’s a good film. But what’s interesting is the criticism of capitalism which is aimed at the German audience, and thus the implication and emphasis on national socialism as an anticapitalist agency, and a soothing implied idea that it, NSDAP, was really socialist when the reality was fascist. In actual fact this fascist-socialist contradiction was by the film, concealed. By ’43, well bsing the German audience was silly, but the film got made anyway.
A fun film, well done, and a fine subject for critical analysis. I suspect that in zone 404 similar video effort, of lesser quality of course, may be seen. Bsing is old game.
Enjoy!
Just to provoke opinions, wish to refer to recent Sign-of-the-Times fireball reports over the EU; one from the 17th, going left-right, the other on the 21st, heading up-down. Both occurred at a similar hour of evening, and show similarities in appearance. I will leave it to the sleuths to calculate the possible targets of their trajectory.
May Heaven consume you!
I have been searching all over a post about that for quite a long time. Thanks for publishing this great content without doubts is very useful. I absolutely love your blog. Excellent colors
