“Following the paths of cutting-edge neurology, philosophy and physics, he reveals how each leads us to a similar vision of the world, one that is both profound and beautiful – and happens to be in line with the deepest traditions of human wisdom.
It is a vision that returns the world to life, and us to a better way of living in it: one we must embrace if we are to survive.”
the matter with things
The Matter With Things, the new 2-volume book from the author of the widely acclaimed The Master and his Emissary: The Divided Brain and the Making of the Western World (over 100,000 copies sold worldwide).
Is the world essentially inert and mechanical – nothing but a collection of things for us to use?
Are we ourselves nothing but the playthings of chance, embroiled in a war of all against all?
Why, indeed, are we engaged in destroying everything that is valuable to us?
In this landmark new book, Iain McGilchrist addresses some of the oldest and hardest questions humanity faces – ones that, however, have a practical urgency for all of us today:…..
Speak low if you speak of love… Shakespeare
If You Speak of Love
Speak with reverence if you speak of life,
Speak here below as you speak up above.
Speak with certainty where confusion is rife,
Speak low if you speak of love.
Speak with wisdom if you speak of death,
Speak with forbearance should push come to shove.
Speak with assurance under your breath,
Speak low if you speak of love.
Speak with silence if among eagles,
Speak with compassion if among doves.
Speak to the one that’s made so regal,
Speak low if you speak of love.
Speak with reverence if you speak of life,
Speak with humility from up above.
Speak with patience should you speak of strife,
Speak low if you speak of love.
https://thebodiesofwater.bandcamp.com/track/one-hand-loves-the-other
How can I speak of love? I cannot.
Let me tell them how you are a treasure far more dear to me than
Any space your vacancy could offer.
How your lifting me
How your holding me
Taking me
Filling me
Drinking and offering
How you are silent
Except in quiet reprimand
And that while fully engaged
When I am under your power
And may it be thus, forever.

To be honest I’ve been told about Israeli Zionist fascism, the USA and Israel being in bed with one another, etc. enough times that this bit of news is surprising. Then again, given that in of itself, it could also be a case of the pot calling the kettle black, so maybe I shouldn’t be too surprised?

I think the word this author needs is
недоговороспособны
“Not agreement capable”.
Since Saker introduced his blog readers to this word and concept some many years ago, I have seen it expand across the alternative news internet.
The U$A and “not agreement capable” go together now like “fish and chips”

Truth will out! I didn’t pay attention to Blair for years, so when I saw the photo in this petition I was shocked to see his current appearance. He looks like Mr. Gollum in the LotR series! The price for evil.. One thins out and starts to become a skulking shrunken bony wraith.

Some weeks ago I was changing from summer tires/wheels, to studded winter wheels on my “truck”.
I remembered while doing that a link posted by Amarynth to a youtube video with an electric “pickup truck”.
That was a piece of crap if I’ve ever seen one. One might use it to get to the mail box (on even terrain), or perhaps to the litter box for a short while before it breaks down, falls apart, stop working.
In comparison, my “small” truck has already lasted for 30 years, and will last for another 30 with proper maintenance.
1 wheel on this one is heavier than the whole crappy electrical thing. Top speed in lowest gear is 0,8 km/h. Top speed in highest gear is 100 km/h (16 gears). Weight 10 tons, Height 2.7 meters. Will easily drive through 1 meters of snow (or water). 6 cyl., 6 ltr. turbocharged engine.
This is off course not an recreational vehicle, but a workhorse in the forest and elsewhere. To me worth its weight in whatever substance.
Enjoy

ever thought of buying a second hand chassis and bed to extend your unimog??? Dont’ know why….just seems interesting as they are short but probably useful for winding around the trees.
A while ago I was interested in those Portugese basic Alter Umm thingies …and extending one in that fashion….two cabins at the back long… kinda useful 4 wheel travelling mobile home of sorts …..oh well…..wish someone would remake them .
No, I haven’t considered that at all. If I wanted an Unimog as camper I would probably have obtained a long wheel base ex military or fire department U1300. Or one originally rigged as an ambulance (very rare), and rebuild it.
For 10 years I had this: https://telemarksporten.no/SakerPhotos/_MG_5545.JPG
12-24- and 220 volt. small kitchen, diesel heaters for engine and cabin/box, ventilation fans, double bed, internet access anywhere in Scandinavia (450 mhz). Actually we could sit 6 people around table when bed was converted. Lot’s of storage space. Used it extensively.
Sold it 8 months ago.
My daily workhorse car is an old Jeep Cherokee (26 years) in excellent condition. Very reliable 4 ltr’s 6 cyl. gasoline engine.

Trade “negotiations” U$A style:
Read this next sentence and not shake your head at the effrontery:
“Even with the phase one agreement in place, China’s government continues to pour billions of dollars into targeted industries and continues to shape its economy to the will of the state – hurting the interests of workers here in the US and around the world,” Tai said, singling out Chinese government activity in the steel and the solar energy sectors as particular concerns.
The context:
The Biden admin has kept Trump’s China tariffs in place, but wants to “renegotiate” the deal so it yields greater benefits to the U$A.

Song
Love and harmony combine,
And around our souls entwine.
While thy branches mix with mine,
And our roots together join.
Joys upon our branches sit,
Chirping loud and singing sweet;
Like gentle streams beneath our feet
Innocence and virtue meet.
Thou the golden fruit dost bear,
I am clad in flowers fair;
Thy sweet flowers perfume the air,
And the turtle buildeth there.
There she sits and feeds her young,
Sweet I hear her mournful song;
And thy lovely leaves among,
There is love, I hear his tongue.
There his charming nest doth lay,
There he sleeps the night away;
There he sports along the day,
And doth among the branches play.

“This lecture by G. Edward Griffin, given in the late ’60s, exposes the hidden plan that shapes U.S. foreign policy and that the ultimate objective of that policy is the same then as it is now — disarmament and world government.”
I recall that Corbet Report has material on Rhodes big evil plan.
And note that the foundational form of zone A, despite the contradictions, is, like the scorpion, a scorpion, and see that the political actions always conform to this foundational characteristic. It can only follow the form. As the good natured frog discovered in the famous story.
Mr P, I’m a little confused as to your message? I watched that video, but seems to me he states the ‘hidden plan’ quite well, but then goes on to wanna kill more commies than even the hidden plan? What am I missing here? This was late 60’s yes? McCarthyism? All those horrendous photos out of Africa. Who says communism done it? That to my recollection was tribal violence.
I’m just not sure.
The fella was insane.
Thank you Mr P for that elucidation. You will laugh, but I very seriously approached it, and listened closely, as I do with most of your recommendations depending on time, and now I feel that I spent some time flying over the cuckoo’s nest (grins).
The hatred is deep. On the China side, I cannot believe even what I am seeing.
There is a new trend here and that is to find something good out of the mists of history in terms of what we call the west. I’m following that now a little, but we keep coming to Trump is the Savior, one way or the other, and it is just that nobody understands him. Will say some more about that when I have a better handle on it. These folks are creeping very deeply into European history and finding all kinds of documents and all kinds of philosophies that somehow ‘prove’ that there is merit in the ways of the west in all of these last years of war. It looks like the reveals as to what has been done .. in the name of .. simply cannot be accepted or integrated, and the cognitive dissonance is at a height. This is just sticking its head up above the horizon and I don’t know if it is Q-Like.
It’s all ‘somebody else made us do it’ style.
Dear heavens, keeping our heads straight is going to be a challenge in the Age of Reveal. I was joking with dearly beloved yesterday. He made us some really excellent hamburgers and as I enjoyed mine, I quipped: “The only truth that I believe today, is the truth of the homemade hamburger where I can taste the love.”
Mr P,
Re: [organic] Insanity or the Consequences of Evil?
There is a recurring theme from all observers of western elites / political puppets- they have become deranged, loco, nuts, out of their minds – due to hubris, hatred of Russians (or any resisting rapine), inbreeding or whatever.
But at root is the what you describe from the classical Greek play Antigone, “Evil appears as good in the minds of those that the gods lead to destruction.” Scriptures reaffirm this and remind: wicked humans tend to be leashed to the lusts of devils. As many normal folks tend to value and prefer the more expensive cars, so the devils prefer “to ride” the elite humans, to thereby misrule entire societies to their ruin. And as they lack virtue and divine protection, and are possessed by these devils, they are literally driven mad, against their own interests, never mind the greater good.
Like Cristiano Ronaldo joyriding a brand new Lamborghini into a wreck some years ago; it has no meaning (or immediate significant consequence) for the afflicting devil, a minor cost for the destructive pleasure. As needed, the devil moves on and selects and jumps into a new elite [body] vehicle.
Western allopathy, under influence of sincere Christians, is starting to escape the dissembling clutches of the early Psychiatrist builders who built the jargon and framework of mental disease.. much is really not organic or amenable to antipsychotics (which can worsen or merely mask by treating the superficial symptom). The key issue for schizophrenia and advanced behavioral medicine, and perhaps narcissistic disorders, particularly among the influential, appears to be demonic possession. Scriptures warn, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high place..”
It appears once they get their grips on these human horses which they ride, they do not let go, unless they repent. Few elites are willing to do so, at the resultant tremendous cost of their wealth and position, which is held hostage through interlocking networks and dependencies. So the source of their affliction appears terminal, and for larger societies as well, once this spiritual rot sets in, just as with a brain cancer. What remains is the tally of the carnage before they are put down.
PS – an arab friend taught me years ago that the arabic word for insane/mad is “Majnoon [مجنون]” which denotes possession by evil Jinns or the devils/satans. I think this understanding of insanity is more accurate and relevant when we consider elite irrational behavior and perhaps for most men too.. I think Eschatologically, part of the purpose of opening the Abyss or bottomless pit in End Times is to unleash legions of these devils, which will manifest as a tsunami of madness all around us. I am seeing a significant increase in irrationality and lack of perspective in last years.. These are times to armor up with Faith.
” I am seeing a significant increase in irrationality and lack of perspective in last years.. ” Indeed!
Yes, Antigone. The idea is basic and originates in some lost vapors of History. A much later quotation that offers a creative mechanism for this self-deception is> ““Step by step they were led to things which dispose to vice, the lounge, the bath, the elegant banquet. All this in their ignorance they called civilisation, when it was but a part of their servitude.” The idea being that the sons of the “quisling” fascist class are taught to become themselves ruled by vice, and of course, over generations, this evil grows, is mated and gives birth, and becomes a qualification prerequisite to status, eg the more corrupt become more powerful than the non-corrupt. Burroughs pointed out that this process has an end-point> “Hustlers of the world, there is one mark you cannot beat: the mark inside.” This end-point seems to be upon us. The contradictions are laid bare anyway.
G. Edward Griffin, if you check his origins and way, is such a victim, I found his misc en scene a dead give-away, revealing a bs artist. The private audience, the slick elocution, the perfect suit. Mr G presents us with the mark inside. Whatever glimmer of truth he says, he is so delusional that he believes the rest. A great American novel, “The Confidence Man” looked at this…as did some early film…Sally of the Sawdust, the Old Army Game, and such, showing the American way to consist of nested swindles from top to bottom, perhaps mitigated with kindness and decency as a sort of damper on the instability that comes from evil. “The old army game” is a term that means a crafty swindle, originating, I believe, in the US Civil War….this game has end point. In film WC Fields does better than pimping his “daughter”, he gets her married to a rich kid whose wealth comes from real estate swindles facilitated by the father – a judge. One way to deal with class conflict, eh?
Speaking of devil…good read> Master and Margareta.
Reviewing the horizon, article titles
“Indiana life insurance CEO says deaths are up 40% among people ages 18-64 ” (this has nothing to do with cause, it’s merely observation of alarm…insurance companies must respond to this, it’s a disaster.)
and “New England is an Energy Crisis Waiting to Happen”…rather like the fubar in Texas last year….but liable to have an effect on the mid-terms.
Us titles as search-terms.
It was a Freudian slip! The insurance industry is the canary in the mine.. It is protected at all costs by TPTB. It received such a boost from the lockdowns and pandemic, as elders started dying off. Perhaps the correct statisticians weren’t allocated to this company?
This CEO qualified his statement with:
“We are seeing, right now, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝 𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 – not just at OneAmerica,” the company’s CEO Scott Davison said during an online news conference this week. “𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙖 𝙞𝙨 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙗𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨.”
CAF spoke on this predictable course of events several years ago (to paraphrase): if you are broke and have already looted the entitlement coffers, you can either debase the currency a la Weimar or cull. The culling actually started in 1990s with onset of opioid wave to the middle class, off-shoring of jobs, etc. but that was too gradual to be noticed. Now the tempo has been significantly raised and hyperinflation and dark winter are both waiting in the wings.
Yeah, the mob figures that if yer dead, then the debt is paid. The widows’ pensions may be paid, at a niggardly discount, if the departed was approved. Scorpion Rules.
Actually this strategy was considered even in the 1960’s, but then it seemed unthinkable. I expected the inflation and the liquidation of privacy…even wrote a scifi story about the disease, I mooted sexual transmission and long latency. Not bad, eh? !964, and submitted as a paper.
But Freudian slip? Well, yes, but it’s not possible to deceive mathematicians. Miss Kitty is outta da bag.
I agree about the cull, and the rest…how else?
…………
In related, see yt of ilf and Petrov erobert America, several videos, their criticism bites deep, and true. And we see the contradictions…. Nice pictures too….though the negatives were lost to soviet error.
I recall the iceman and no telephone…and family singing, and every one able to buy a gun, when few did.
1964 was a sobering year. The course correction had been made on Nov 22, 1963, and here we are today. It is the ending of many narratives; we get to see what is at the end of that rainbow soon.
Re: “I mooted sexual transmission and long latency.” You were not far off the mark! About a decade early. This was beta-tested in Africa first, starting in the late 70s. Now the issue with this pandemic is eerily reminiscent of AIDS. Some astute clinicians have observed it is the globalization of AIDS via another route – an acquired immune deficiency minus the messy sexual escapades or the drug paraphernalia. And as with blood for hemophiliacs and at blood banks, they are starting to screen it now at the Red Cross, etc.. Latency also appears to apply for most folks, on the expected order of 1.5-3 years versus up to 10 years for the first AIDS. Perhaps fruitful lessons are being applied by that same industrious team at the NIAID.
I had a PhD Statistician mentor long ago who had a saying I will never forget, “you can massage the data to say anything you want..” And we both worked for Big Pharma at the time! There are always two data sets in such companies – the in-house set and the public set. I meant by Freudian slip that the wrong data set had been broadcast, or the CEO had a fatal attack of conscience and deviated from the plot. Or it could be adding fuel to the fear level, by revealing the truth. As you know the Hegelian dialectic requires they reveal part of the truth, and throw some under the bus, to better control the next phase. I think we should expect a tsunami of reveals in coming weeks.

It appears that there was a massive damage control campaign put in high gear right after the Dr. Malone interview.
I would imagine it is still ongoing. They are worried that a critical mass is nearing and it will be difficult from here on to manipulate and deceive. More and more people are starting to realize that the ongoing madness has little to do with our health and well being.

https://saker.community/topic/new-chatter-and-jabber-thread-starting-on-december-29/#post-6664
I was going to correct you and say that “Malone” quote originates with Mark Twain.
But I made a quick search engine detour to be sure …. only to end up in yet another rabbit hole.
From the Mark Twain website:
A lie can travel halfway round the world while the truth is putting on its shoes.
– This quote has been attributed to Mark Twain, but it did not originate with him. Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834-92) attributed it to an old proverb in a sermon delivered on Sunday morning, April 1, 1855. Spurgeon was a celebrated English fundamentalist Baptist preacher. His words were: “A lie will go round the world while truth is pulling its boots on.” Even earlier, in 1710 Jonathan Swift wrote on the same topic in The Examiner.
They link to https://quoteinvestigator.com/2014/07/13/truth/
Which track the quote back centuries.
But Malone is correct in citing it…. As with Russia Russia Russia and weapons of mass destruction, and the whole 9/11 Kennedy fabrications. Lies are slicker and faster than truth.
Twain did say it’s easier to fool someone than convince them they’ve been fooled.
And also said, ” we have no crimanal class in this country, except for congress”.
These proverbs now apply to the tragic results already overwhelming, and millions yet to come..
Is it time for polyanna scolding?
White Whale
I always thought that this was a quote by Mark Twain and I think that Dr. Malone took it for granted that the readers of his article knew that as well. Now it turns out that Twain in turn was quoting someone else…Well you learn something new every day…
From my notebook of quotes, this one describes the current climate rather well:
“The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule”

siljan,
Johnny Dollar would likely agree with your H.L. Mencken quote:

Just about every poster on this thread agrees the RT-PCR test is a fraud.
The same posters love Malone
If you are that Malone loving poster and you, the Malone loving poster, told Malone the RT-PCR test was a fraud, he would spit on you – or something equivalent.
Simply because that uttered phrase “ the PCR test is a fraud “ means your threatening his income flow which keeps his horses fed on his Virginia farm.
You might want to keep that in mind as you dish out all the love for this guy.
…[]…
He needs to keep the pcr test not just alive but credible.
If anything like a majority of people conclude the pcr test is a fraud , that puts an end to the virus. The end of the virus means no more vaccines. No more vaccines means no more money for Malone.
he would be very put off by that, don’t you think?
Oh boy. This one is on the cusp of allowable or not, but that is not my worry.
My worry is that it is absolutely nonsense and BS, and you are not helping, but you are hindering. (And this is the reason why stuff like this has been banned from the Saker Blog because a whole lot of nonsense is posted from a whole lot of nonsense brokers).
I invite you to go and listen to this video, just posted, just happened a few hours ago, on this specific subject from this specific person because you clearly have not educated yourself. https://saker.community/topic/new-chatter-and-jabber-thread-starting-on-december-29/#post-6668
And then come back and apologize to this community for spreading mis- and disinformation.
And it would be really appreciated if you stop spreading the BS.
Sometimes it helps to go and read the comments from the link, and I really do not have the time for that generally. But this is just copied commenting from the linked site that ‘Johnny Dollar’ posted. It is directly taking commenting from another site and posting it here. So, what happened is that a number of people suggested that ‘Johnny Dollar’ actually gives proof of the statements. Of course, that was impossible. And then the linked site put him into ‘moderation’, I have no idea what it means to them as I don’t hang on that site.
What is important is that he flamed out over there, and I trust he will flame out over here.
Let me put this in perspective. I don’t carry water for Malone or anyone else.
I would suggest, poster un_believable, that you consult the moderation policies over here to see what is acceptable and what not. Let me not be shy. You actually know them very well, don’t you!
Well, acting on a Doctor’s ‘advice’ I’d take a Malone, or a Bridle, over a Fauci or Tam, it really helps esp when the Malone’s and Co offer a common sense approach over a ‘we don’t know if it works, just roll up your sleeve and shut up…. already’.
…..we have a panic pandemic here where mild varients are being pumped like the plague. Ms Drama Castro, Mr Blackface himself told Canadians that those who refuse the vaxx are mysogenist racists, that’s from the leader…of the country. Obviously suffering a massive Spike Protein overdose…..

ZHANAOZEN. KAZINFORM Director of the Zhanaozen gas processing plant Nakbergen Tulepov has been detained, Kazinform reports referring to Kazakhstan TV Channel.
The financial monitoring agency announced that the director of the gas works unreasonably raised gas prices. The pre-trial investigation is underway.
For years now I’ve seen reports of Kazakhstan trying to have good relations with the US.And how US stooge NGO’s have been allowed into that country. Now we see the results they get,as soon as the government makes a bone-head mistake the 5th column strikes, all that western money put to bad use I see.Sometimes I wonder do these countries really have no idea of how the US works, did Ukraine not teach those countries anything. It looks like they don’t and it didn’t,so sad.

Speaking of Per/Norway’s comment:
If the new law does not apply to two-wheeled motorcycles, then under which jurisdiction do three-wheeled vehicles fall into? Are they also classified as “motorcycles”?
Hey Joey..dunno about blackbox, but license reader designed for autos, not for bikes, and a laid-down plate is even harder to read, and even more so if there’s a parasitic vibration “problem”…and naturally the beanie and face shield is also “problematic”…note proximity of IR emitters (jammers) and poor angle to reader http://www.fingereze.com/ebay/images/easybrackets/TSDNALD-02B.jpg LED IR emitters can be enhanced by random pulse…if ya know how to push electrons and RF sensors. Discover sweep frequency and think about it. Read up on emissivity of materials too.
I have fond memory of White conventional with 220 Cummings and 4-4-3 gearbox. with lockup twinscrew axles. #2 fuel oil was 12 cents…
And XS650 cafe street racer. But the flathead HD’s were the best they ever built.

All> I note, in other less risible affairs, Voltaire did a good job with “La Russie veut contraindre les USA à respecter la Charte des Nations unies”
And that FEMA has scheduled a nuclear attack drill “The Federal Emergency Management Agency has announced it will conduct a nuclear detonation “drill” on January 6 from 3:00-3:30 PM eastern time. Strangely, in the past, federal “drills” turned out to be the real thing . . ” There’s a comforting 241 page handbook, just in case… The dubious Hal Turner of extravagant character pointed out the correlations between “Live” events and “drills”
I agree, the Kazakhstan rodeo reeks of Maiden, curious timing,eh?
And NATO has bigbig meeting…https://www.military.com/daily-news/2022/01/04/nato-hold-foreign-ministers-meeting-over-ukraine.html
Somebody suggested that the FEMA routine may be used to shut down ‘net, etc. The fine gentlemen seem to be afraid of Jan 6. This is a mystery to me, but they sure seem to be afraid.
In Voltaire’s end-notes, he mentions USS Raygum in 2015 being paralyzed by TU142, something I’d missed. Flyover @ 500 feet by very loud aircraft must have rattled the skipper’s cage. The Thierry Meyssan article is also in English.
One coincidence might be a coincidence, but…well, we are promised a thrilling new year…and I recall how everybody love surprises.

They’re not giving up eh, but this is completely psychotic!
Unvaccinated to be banned from booze and marijuana in Canada – media

They are benefitting certain people! Less booze, less weed can only be a good thing. Anyone want my Honey Mead Brew methods and recipe? (lol) I see new industries develop.
Ah, more fear porn. Those racist mysogenist K-becers……..well, with curbside pick up I fail to see the problem, and with home delivery all-in these days, an entire new cottage industry springs up……’don’t Bogart that joint, my friend’……commerce must not be hindered:)
amarynth, ‘less’ is quantitive….what’s too much. I feel as adults we choose our own path detrimental or not…..we are all responsible for our own actions. Is one glass of wine too much, an entire bottle…..depends on the individual, their tollerance, and of course applying a bit of common sense.
Cheers M
What makes the Quebec position a bit of a joke….same thing that sanctions on Russia did…people will work around it……Prohibition on alcohol did not stop it, in fact the opposite happened, and getting pot from a government shop was never an issue in Canada pre legalization, esp Quebec. When I was younger, we would drive to Montreal from Halifax and get the best of the best, Biker thing and no, I wasn’t a Biker, just business. Honestly, most people who smoked pot pre legalization still get it from their buddy and the reason may surprise you. All regulated marijuana is ‘irradiated’ and they allow pesticides to be used during growing. Yuck! Entirely profit driven with no love shown to the wee plants as they are nurtured to fruition.
Yes! Please! The Honey Mead recipe……it’s been that kind of year!
Interesting tidbits from Kazakhstan.
This tweet stream seems to be putting the pieces together.

Beyond the facts – the meaning. No ‘pundit’ can falsify heaven’s constellation’s numbers and their basic meaning for every life on Earth, devided in northern and southern hemispheres.
My northern diary provides always explaining aspects and drawings.
This one, of 1. 3. – 10 . has at Weekend union of Sun and Venus – sovereignty and territory – on Capricorn’s highest level.

RT, we here agree, is not what it once was, and is failing _ if it’s mission is to present an accessible, non western view of Russia.
The piece: “Pope Francis accuses childless pet owners of ‘selfishness’”, prompted a cacophony (choir?) of comments all noting the lack of repentance for a catholic clergy with a predilection for child sexual (and emotional) abuse.
The RT comments did give me a bit of a chuckle.
Many cafeists are familiar with Tim Minchin.
I won’t link to his “the Pope song”, because it is very very NSFW.
But worth a listen if you haven’t heard it.
This is one of my favourite piss take of the pompous Vatican ….a scene
