China in a huge strategic change is developing military and defense cooperation. Russia as part of the Resistance Front will be getting help as the US and allies throw everything into the mix. China has come to realize their economic aid was not working in an unstable environment.
Key takeaways:
1. Although today the first principle in relations between countries is cooperation in the political and economic spheres, but these interactions without the provision of a secure security environment, basically either do not take shape or will not have reliable stability.
2. The political and military developments in Ukraine, which have become an unprecedented international crisis since World War II with the indirect entry of the United States and the West into the military confrontation with Russia, are also a very important issue whose direct and indirect effects are security relations and equations in the region. It will affect Central Asia is one of the most important issues that must be addressed from now on to manage its possible effects.
3. According to UN Security Council Resolution 2231, the arms embargo on Iran has been lifted since October 2020, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, as a country with significant indigenous capabilities in the design and construction of defense and military weapons, can purchase without obstacles in the process, following arms sales with different countries.
4. The Chinese Defense Minister’s visit to Tehran also plays a decisive role in completing the mentioned strategy as an important step in this direction.
This approach is based solely on the development of defense and security relations with China, Russia, or the Resistance Front,.

Strategic goals of the Chinese Defense Minister’s visit to Tehran
Emphasizing the direct connection between the Chinese Defense Minister’s visit to the implementation of the 25-year-old joint roadmap between Iran and China and trying to induce the erroneous statement that this roadmap is of a military nature is one of the psychological tricks in the main focus of Western media.
NOURNEWS – The Minister of Defense of the People’s Republic of China, General Wei Fenghe, arrived in Tehran on Wednesday morning to hold talks with the officials of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In examining the dimensions of this important trip, it is important to pay attention to the goals pursued by the two countries in the development of military and defense cooperation.
Iran and China, as two regional powers, have significant indigenous defense capabilities, and the increase in the development of this capability can be an important component in pursuing the defense goals of the two countries.
Given the history of defense and armaments cooperation between Iran and China and the desire of the two countries to revive the past trend, the establishment of new relations in this sector is one of the important priorities of the defense sector.
In this regard, due to the wide-ranging political and security developments that have taken place in the Persian Gulf region in recent years, especially the expulsion of the American occupiers from Afghanistan, new needs have arisen in Iran’s security environment. It has made a military like Chinese inevitable in the context of common goals and interests.
The series of political, security, and military events after the US expulsion from the region show the fact that Washington, with the participation of Britain, seeks to establish new military relations in the region, the main focus of which is to contain independent countries and offer a new role to the evil Zionist regime.
Given Iran’s consistent strategy of pursuing active security and defense diplomacy with its neighbors and regional powers, increasing defense interactions with China can be a precautionary measure against foreign intervention in the region while enhancing the two countries’ common understanding of regional developments and increasing synergy.
In this regard, especially since the inauguration of the 13th administration with the activation of Iran’s defense diplomacy and the development of relations with countries in the region, new measures have been defined to reach new defense agreements and create military integration based on regional military and security capabilities.
The visit of General Bagheri, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces, to Pakistan and Russia and the ongoing consultations at various levels of defense and security with Iraq, Turkey, Syria, etc. can also be evaluated in this context.
The Chinese Defense Minister’s visit to Tehran also plays a decisive role in completing the mentioned strategy as an important step in this direction.
This approach is based solely on the development of defense and security relations with China, Russia, or the Resistance Front, contrary to the claims of the West which is trying to prevent the formation of a defense front against Western influence, especially the US, in the region. But Iran, by presenting the “Hormoz Peace Initiative” plan, had long ago announced its readiness and interest in cooperating with its Arab neighbors in the southern part of the Persian Gulf.
The point is that; Although today the first principle in relations between countries is cooperation in the political and economic spheres, but these interactions without the provision of a secure security environment, basically either do not take shape or will not have reliable stability.
During the years of presence of the occupiers in Afghanistan and Iraq, due to their critical approach, favorable economic interactions between neighbors were not practically formed.
Another point that needs to be considered about the Chinese Defense Minister’s visit to Tehran and, of course, the approach of other countries to the development of defense relations with the Islamic Republic is the false claim of Iran’s isolation that the West, especially the United States, seeks to induce.
Iran’s defense cooperation with major military powers such as China and Russia shows that the United States has failed to pursue a unilateral policy of circumventing Security Council resolutions and pursuing a policy of maximum sanctions and pressure, and has failed to impose its will on independent states.
The comprehensive efforts of the Western media to divert public opinion from the real goals and approaches of the Chinese Defense Minister’s visit to Iran and the deliberate lies to provoke public opinion at home should also be considered in this context.
Emphasizing the direct connection of this trip to the implementation of the 25-year joint cooperation roadmap between Iran and China and trying to induce the false statement that this roadmap is of a military nature is one of the psychological tricks that has become the main focus of Western media information in this regard.
Meanwhile, the roadmap for 25-year cooperation between Iran and China has a completely economic and trade content, and according to it, various agreements between the two countries should be prepared and signed and implemented after the legal process.
Certainly, the continuation of the unrealistic atmosphere of the Western media, which in the past made ridiculous claims claiming the transfer of Kish to the Chinese for the establishment of a military base and the like, could not affect the will of the two countries to realize extensive capacities of cooperation in political and economic dimensions, and being effective in trade and defense, and the smart process that has begun in recent months, especially after Iran’s permanent membership in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, will continue with double seriousness and determination.

I’m calling this vid “Dances with Arty” at around the 2.30 mark 3 APCs cross a field, foot soldiers walk behind, then it becomes like a ‘toss a shell game’ where the APC operators just keep driving erratically back and fourth to avoid being hit, the guys on the ground, cant imagine what they are suffering…….I’m thinking armed drones, then whack the APCs, (because the arty spotting from a uav is hit and a lot of miss), then the guys on foot would probably just surrender. I say that because, the guys on foot are ‘grunts’ (been there, done that), the COs NCOs will be in the APCs.

It was reported today on CNN that Pope Francis called Patriarch Kirill and “altar boy” Of course, this is the brainwashing of the editors using such words in order to disgrace. Need it be reminded that Jesuits are still banned from Russia including Pope Francis. Under no circumstances should this so called “religious” leader step foot in Russia. Already he has been asked to visit other Orthodox countries such as Greece. The other so called leader of the Orthodox Patriarch Bartholomew in Istanbul has taken a strong anti-Russian stance. He should be more concerned that the Hagia Sophia is now a mosque. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-53366307
I saw in the news that the pope met with Zelensky in one of the first days of the SMO, and then deliberately waited 3 weeks before trying to contact Pres Putin, the delay was meant “to make a point” as to “who is the agressor”.
But he got no answer, and still has gotten no answer from the Kremlin, so he is starting to try to get in contact with Kirill (who, btw, EU is planning to sanction..).
The pope said something like this in the press (not his actual words, but the meaning of it):
I can’t go to Zelensky one more time before meeting Putin, I have to do my moral duty first, do the big sacrifice meeting that horrible man, but I must do it, to save the world…
And nobody is noticing him and his “moral duties and scrifices”….
(And I hope it is true what you say, Kosta, that the pope, as a jesuit, is not even allowed into Russia.)
Bergoglio and Bartholomew are competing to be greener than Greta, the Saint of Gaia.

WW2 saw the West employing the RAF and the Eighth Air Force as ” strategic” deep strike forces, leaving the USSR to throw men , instead , at the Nazis. Which, as they were fighting for their very lives, on their own land , was not a choice but an imperative.
Churchill’s failure to achieve naval supremacy in WW1 in the Baltic Sea, dragged that war out longer.
Russia now is spending missles as a tactical , operational weapon instead of men. Because they can. It looks well thought out. Thank God.
They chose correctly.
The Baltic Sea is the Wests plaything now, but full on War makes it a Western liability if not controlled.
Operation Torch in WW2 only worked because the Royal Navy ruled the Mediterranean.
Armour and artillery that cant make landfall in Germany or Poland cant do anything.
Naval war in the Baltic is the sign that nukes are next.
“The Baltic Sea is the Wests plaything now”
I will defer to Mr P and others more knowledgeable of military history and technologies, and the drastically changed correlation of forces in the hypersonic age..
BUT the above view of the Baltic Sea seems a dated (if valid since 1950s) presumption. I recall a US carrier scurrying posthaste from the Persian Gulf once the first Kalibers were launched from the Caspian nearly over their heads enroute to Syria.. and soon thereafter General BreedHate bleating about A2/AD while giving the evil-eye to Königsberg..
Has Kaliningrad, anticipated a sumptuous meal like the Crimea of 2013, turned out to be a Larchean bone impossible to swallow, and in fact a veritable aircraft carrier (like Crimea) controlling the Baltic Sea? Is “Naval war in the Baltic” even realizable now for the black hats??? Ah my innocent youth, when I used to read the exploits of dashing Dick Bolitho and the Royal Navy exploits in the inhospitable roiling winter waters of the Baltic. What will the Sea Pirates make of the current royal mess, deprived of their merry surface gunboats, with which to pillage and pressurize?!
Seaborne logistics , or its denial, not aircraft carriers , are the issues there.
Rommel lost by a hairsbreadth in Africa , in part because his Italian allies, did not like him. Blatant high handed disrespect wasnt a good move. Smiling Albert , Rommels successor, was far more personable and got better cooperation . Too late. It was Italian ships or none for resupply.
Without seaborne logistics, the West cannot escalate.
They say that Rommel was being supplied with fuel via hospital ships, and when he learned of this he was aghast, as this made hospital ships targets. They also say that his successes came substantially because he disobeyed the orders from Berlin…these being read by GCCS, the “allied” armies expected certain actions that did not take place. Sun Tsu advises that once a general is in the field, the emperor must not meddle, Rommel, they tell us, followed this good advice, Berlin did not…which may also apply to the nazis today…being managed from “the rear” by nazi leadership “nato”, (no un-natural sexual innuendo implied!) see> “Rommel: The Trail of the Fox” (David Irving)
I know very little about Baltic sea…but assume it is a boiler for both surface and submarine ships, shallow, lots of hydrophones, and 100% under eye of antiship rocket. Imperial German merchant sub Deutschland punched a divot in the mud in route Baltimore (according to Paul Konig https://www.gutenberg.org/files/45922/45922-h/45922-h.htm)…for what that’s worth. Baltic easy to mine. Re-supply to Europe would come from precisely what manufacturing base? US is not autarkic, Ruski is. US is in incipient rebellion, Ruski is not… tea leaves say…nazis are losers.
Sea-borne supply to Europe for war on Russia ends whenever Russian decide. Ducks in a tub.
Italians never recovered properly from Taranto, which was the model for Pearl Harbor. Med remained in dispute, Adriatic too.
But nazi (aka “west”) can escalate, recall diabolical atomic and chemical and germ. Recall also RF also can escalate. History of nazi say they always escalate…Nixon bombing in Indochina, Truman Korea germwar, Dresden in ’45, and of course the nuclear tests of Japanese cities.
When ruling junta of “west” abandoned USC, the basic law that forms the only binding force for the US, that great State was defeated…the rest is denouement. Red Flag over “Reichstag” is guaranteed. Schedule remains to be seen. Watch and see as the “several states” start to leave by referendum votes, Hawaii, Alaska, west coast… tictictic. A small beginning> https://stateofjefferson.com/ Just wait and see Texas… And what will governors decide when people are starving? Geopolitic is a tough game.

An interesting article on RT about EU efforts to on one hand prevent Russian oil exports. And on the other give Russia a valid reason to punish them with military measures. I also though wonder why does Russia not have or create insurance companies of their own to handle the issue talked about here. And also buy tankers from China (or other states) if they don’t have enough to use of their own? Those two measures alone should be a no-brainer to combat those EU plans:
https://www.rt.com/business/554959-russian-oil-ban-beyond-europe/
” I also though wonder why does Russia not have or create insurance companies of their own to handle the issue talked about here. And also buy tankers from China (or other states) if they don’t have enough to use of their own? ”
In the same vein, why doesnt Russia produce its own computers, make its own network switching hardware, make and export its own CPU’s ? Why doesnt Russia make and export consumer goods , instead of forever relying on its natural resources ? Additionally, why doesn’t Russia print its own debt free money ? All valid questions.
All in good time. But of course they should have done so earlier.
I fondly remember a time when most countries were self sufficient; jobs for all and no globalism. Maybe we’ll get back to that in the coming decade.
Uncle Bob,
They are being forced to work on it.
There has been a worldwide monopoly by London on global commercial insurance, especially the oil tankers & shipping and aviation. For generations (centuries?), little freight moves on the seas without obtaining risk coverage from Lloyds..

But “Where there’s a will, there’s a way” and “Necessity is the mother of invention.” More [import-substitution] fruits of sanctions and the Great Bifurcation are on the way. Deeds of spite continue to boomerang fast.
Russia has taken practical steps to dissociate from this racket, starting with the airlines, underwriting them itself. I read it several weeks ago but cannot find the link. There was a law passed in March banning Russian insurers from working with insurance companies from unfriendly states.
https://www.akm.ru/eng/news/vladimir-putin-signed-a-law-prohibiting-russian-insurers-from-working-with-insurance-companies-from-/
Ultimately, workarounds will be found. Sane buyer countries will ignore these hurdles as they need the oil to keep the lights on. They will exit the western reinsurance market to help set up a new one or find some modus vivendi like Iran. And soon enough, all this may be moot as most Russian oil will be sent by land pipelines to East Asia..

Many Ukrainians wanted to join the EU in order to be able to live and work elsewhere in the EU.
Many Ukrainians wanted to join the EU, because they thought the EU would send billions of Euros in aid to raise living standards on par with Poland.
The Ukrainian hryvnia buys very little and is backed by nothing. The Russian ruble is backed by gold, oil, and other commodities. Which currency has more purchasing power. Which one will raise living standards in the Ukraine.
As the ruble replaces the hryvnia in eastern Ukraine, will the residents experience a postwar boom and enjoy a higher standard of living compared to the people living in eastern Ukraine?
Longtimeago instructed in basic graft…over-arching principle was “you cannot cheat an honest man”…so the approach was to discover a character flaw in a mark, sexual, financial, greed…chat and interrogate over lunch, or whatever…but discover the flaw, then feed it. Due cognizance to class and sensibilities, never insult…but sometimes a man will say he wants a bribe, or a lay, or whatever… (I knew a fella selling autoparts who hired a team of beautiful ladies, red-headed – a entire family of whores …) whatever works. In example Ukie “Many Ukrainians wanted to join the EU, because they thought the EU would send billions of Euros in aid to raise living standards on par with Poland.” the marks fell for the gag. TANSTAAFL and all that… The instant that a free lunch is proffered…say no.
Ruble is not a gag. Honest building is not a racket. Ruble backed by gold, oil, gas, wheat, lumber, chromium, etc. There is a massive building boom on the horizon for liberated (former) Ukie lands, those fellas will be buying new boats and motorcycles and getting fat happy babies…a square deal beats a con job, anytime.
Minding Burroughs>” Hustlers of the world, there is one mark you cannot beat: the mark inside.” just might apply to the nazi junta ruling…quiz friday. The Byedon, the clowns, all hustling each another, hustle themselves…and this time? Will RF and Chine and the rest permit them to escape to Patagonia, and Canada, and points south? Don’t bet on that.
Better to be silent and keep them guessing than open your mouth and let the world know you are a fool.
When Greece became EU member around 2000 economy boomed thanks to new investments / more debt. Then everything became worse than 2000 level from 2008 on. Greece had lost their own currency. You could not buy neighboring house without some Germans having to approve it.
When Portugal became EU member around 2000 economy boomed thanks to new investments / more debt. Then came 2008 and everything want downhill. VAT was doubled. No more cheap own currency to attract tourists.

from :The Lay of the Last Minstrel
Breathes there the man, with soul so dead,
Who never to himself hath said,
This is my own, my native land!
Whose heart hath ne’er within him burn’d,
As home his footsteps he hath turn’d
From wandering on a foreign strand!
If such there breathe, go, mark him well;
For him no Minstrel raptures swell;
High though his titles, proud his name,
Boundless his wealth as wish can claim;—
Despite those titles, power, and pelf,
The wretch, concentred all in self,
Living, shall forfeit fair renown,
And, doubly dying, shall go down
To the vile dust, from whence he sprung,
Unwept, unhonour’d, and unsung.
Sir Walter Scott
The word ‘Lay’ is Gaelic, and means a ballad or other narrative that was sung.
Walter Scott was a writer and a poet, 1771–1832, as was his contemporary Alexander Pushkin,1799 -183).
The borderlands dividing Scotland and England have a history that is fraught with battle, similarly perhaps in to the history between Ukraine and Russia, but these were not sung or spoken and retained as by the minstrels in Scotland. ..
http://www.walterscott.lib.ed.ac.uk/index.html
However, meantime history was being recorded in Russia by Pushkin.
Interestingly, Pushkin’s writings were often censored, meaning he had to use metaphor and various other contrivance to express a political or other scenario. Pushkin is honoured but rarely understood (as yet) and Scott almost forgotten
Also during their lives, both poets sought the cultural – spiritual writers and versifiers of Germany, for source of inspiration, shared ethical ideals and so forth. The light of culture is boundless and unifies.

Russia hitting Ukraine from Caspian Sea
Russia-Ukraine War LIVE: Russia Firing ‘barrage Of Missiles’ At Ukraine From Caspian Sea

Russia firing ‘barrage of missiles’ at Ukraine from Caspian Sea
Russia has been firing a barrage of missiles on central Kirovohrad Oblast from the Caspian sea that has hit a railway infrastructure in Dolinskaya, Ukraine’s Southern Operational Command said in an update. There were several deaths and injuries reported, said the Ukraine’s military, although the exact number of the casualties was not known. At least two missiles were shot down over the southwestern city of Vinnytsia, Anton Gerashchenko, an adviser to the Interior Ministry of Ukraine further informed in the update.

How can Russia afford to keep a navy in an inland body such as the Caspian Sea? How do they decommission/sell such naval vessels as they cannot be moved outside the Caspian Sea?
I reckon that from the Russian military’s point of view, the Caspian is just as good a place to keep a naval force as such “real seas” as the Baltic or the Black Sea. After all, in case of a major war the Baltic or the Black Sea could easily be blocked by Turkey or Denmark (or, rather, its NATO allies). Unlike the world’s major naval forces, such as the Royal Navy or the US Navy, the Russian Navy has never been too big on long-distance power projection; most of the wars it has fought in its history were around Russia’s coasts (and sometimes in rivers, e.g. in the Danube and the Amur/Sungari during WWII!), usually in support of the land operations. (It probably would not be a big exaggeration to say that most of the wars Russia fought over the last 1000 years were in areas where Russians soldiers could walk to). And since the Caspian (and its oil and beluga caviar resources) is shared by 5 countries, it’s a natural location for a proportionally sized naval force. (Plus, they can launch missiles that can fly quite a distance away…)
As to the actual ships of the Caspian Flotilla, they aren’t huge; those are mostly frigates, cutters, etc. As you can see from the Wikipedia article, the Gepard-class frigates, which are probably the biggest ships in the flotilla, are actually built in Zelenodolsk in Tatarstan, several hundreds of miles up the Volga, and then they sail down the river, via the locks in the Volga dams, and into the Caspian! Presumably this can be done in reverse too, if you need to take a ship back to the shipyard for refitting or for scrapping.
The same type of frigates, built at the same plant, are also exported to countries such as Vietnam – which means that not only can they sail down the Volga from Tatarstan to the Caspian, but they can also be taken to the ocean via the Volga–Don Canal or the Volga–Baltic Waterway. (I understand that the locks on those canals are built more or less to the same standard as the locks in the Volga dams, so if you can sail a ship down the Volga, you can also take it through the canals, and vice versa.) I am not sure what the procedure is for moving vessels like this through the river/canal system – whether one has to remove some of the weaponry and other equipment from the ship to reduce its draft. One also has to watch his calendar when planning such kind of ship movements, as the waterways freeze in the winter, and in dryer years a small section of the Volga (between the Gorky Dam at Gorodets and the city of Nizhny Novgorod) may get too shallow in mid-summer. (In theory, it is physically possible to use the Cheboksary Dam to raise the water level in that section for safe navigation through the summer, but in practice it’s never done because of the objections of the Nizhny Novgorod Oblast [Province]; the people there don’t want their basements flooded…)
I would assume they can use the same waterways if they really wanted to transfer some of the ships from the Caspian to the Black Sea, or to sell them to some country that does not own any Caspian lakefront real estate; I don’t know if it was ever done. I remember reading that at some point the Kazakhstan Navy, also Caspian-based, bought a second hand vessel (a cutter of some kind?) from the US Coast Guard, and it was delivered to them via Russia’s Volga-Don Canal.

I do not know the context for Lavrov striking out at Greece but am guessing it has something to do with Greece
lecturing Russia on Ukraine:
Sergei Lavrov lectures Greece, the so-called “Cradle of Democracy”;
Lavrov accused Greece of hypocricy and put forward the example of Macedonia and the Macedonian people;
“Athens cannot credibly speak of human rights as it is not a country that has in any way shown respect for human rights, especially in relation to the Macedonians who have no basic human rights and are discriminated especially
in the region of Macedonia under Greece’s occupation, where they are known as “Endopii”, that is, authochtonous to the region, but not only that, Athens also terrorises the Republic of Macedonia and it’s people to
the point where it forced it to change its historic name and accept a humiliating agreement that represses Macedonians in their own country to the degree of discrimination and suspension of theri most basic human rights. I repeat, therefore, “Greek” is not a nationality, ‘Greek’ is a profession!”
*As for the PS part, I will not hazard a guess as to who exactly “Saint Georgi Pobedonosec” is but Lavrov refers to a special day for him, and refers to him responsible for bringing Christianity to both the Macedonian and the Russian people.
Footnote; The article does not give context to Lavrov’s words but I am guessing that it has something to do with
Greece lecturing Russia on Ukraine.
What’s remarkable about Russian statements re: Macedonia, unlike the Western attitude of belittlement, ridicule and condescension, is that Russia has always shown the utmost respect toward the Macedonian people and state. They have indicated the enormous historical significance of Macedonia as one of the forbearers of Christianity in Europe, as the Macedonian language as the source of the Cyrillic language, etc. Indeed, in April 2017, Putin thanked then President Ivanov for “giving Russia her alphabet”. Not only does Lavrov refer to “Greek occupied Macedonia” but also to the Macedonians as authochtonous to the region. It’s all very strange as Greeks refer to the Macedonians as “having been created by Tito” etc. but among themselves refer to them as the natives of the region. In Greece, it is not allowed to speak the Macedonian language, to sing Macedonian songs that have Macedonian lyrics etc. all Cyrillic text was whitewashed from Macedonian churches and places of worship when Aegean Macedonia was annexed and assimiliated into Greece after the Balkan Wars of 1912/13. Nowadays however, since the imposed “name change”, everything Macedonian is banned in Macedonia itself, where everythng Western, Albanian, Greek, Bulgarian, LGBT etc is encouraged and promoted. All this since the elected Macedonian government of Nikola Gruevski was toppled in a coup in 2017 and replaced by the current click led by Albanian terrorists and moronic Social Democrats of “Northern Macedonia”.

Dmitri Hvorostovsky’ version of “Cranes” –
https://youtu.be/bz5nzblk8Ws
Shiv Kumar Batalvi (July 1936 – May 1973)
was an Indian poet, writer and playwright of the Punjabi language. He was most known for his romantic poetry, noted for its heightened passion, pathos, separation and lover’s agony.
This poem by him also evokes cranes…
“Maen Kal Naheen Rahina” –
(I will not be here tomorrow)
Listen, O my life,
I will not be here tomorrow.
Tonight, let us clutch this song firmly,
and claim its kiss.
Listen, O my life
I will not be here tomorrow.
This moonlight will not flower tomorrow,
Nor will bloom the champak (Magnolia champaca)
Perfumes will not roam the garden
with uncovered head.
Nor like today
will yielding branches
bend to touch the earth.
Listen, O my life
I will not be here tomorrow.
The cranes will have scattered,
flown far away.
By tomorrow, Time, like a husband,
will have carried off my pain.
No longer will flowers lie like jewels,
around the throat
of the season tomorrow.
Listen, O my life
I will not be here tomorrow.
By daybreak the footprints on paths
will not be traceable.
No longer will my songs sew a robe,
true to separation.
Never will tears collect like this again,
beneath the shadows of the past.
Listen, O my life
I will not be here tomorrow.
Not, like today, will we sit together again
You and I.
Not, like this, will the sun rise tomorrow,
nor, like this, will it set.
The bird of time
will have collected,
every single grain of my breath.
Listen, O my life.
I will not be here tomorrow.
Tonight let us clutch a song tightly
and claim its kiss.
Obsess with the truth, anything else will kill you.
Bhagawat Geeta Ch. 2, verse 16
नासतो विद्यते भावो नाभावो विद्यते सत: |
उभयोरपि दृष्टोऽन्तस्त्वनयोस्तत्वदर्शिभि: ॥16॥
Transliteration :
nāsato vidyate bhāvo nābhāvo vidyate sataḥ
ubhayorapi dṛiṣhṭo ’nta stvanayos tattva-darśhibhiḥ
Translation :
That which is temporary can have no eternal existence. Of that which is eternal there is no destruction or change. But the nature of both these, indeed, has been realized by the seers of Truth.
*****
The changing body cannot endure forever. The body changes every moment through actions and reactions, as growth and decay takes place in the body. But the spirit soul exists permanently, remaining the same, despite all the changes of body and mind. By nature, the body is ever changing, and the soul is eternal, this is the difference between matter and spirit. Such a conclusion has been established by all seers of the Truth.
I see https://www.rt.com/news/555094-poll-austrians-prospects-joining-nato/ that Austria may be pressured to abandon it’s Law and Constitution… Neutralitätserklärung is a declaration by the Austrian Parliament declaring the country permanently neutral. It was enacted on 26 October 1955 as a constitutional act of parliament, as part of the Constitution of Austria. Evidently for nazi a deal is simply a basis for betrayal.
Well, why not?

77 Years On… Victory Day Over Nazi Germany and Where Wartime Allies Now Stand
They say the Bye-don is to hide in bunker on May 9….fear?? Inside “dope”?
Are we to realize that a repudiation such as Austria contemplates might make moot the Austrian State Treaty of May 1955? That Treaty ended the occupation… So far most Austrian want neutrality, but do they even know their own Law?

St. George seems to have originated in Venice – there is even an island. How did this get to Orthodox Mt. Athos?
Has anyone some history? Royal Consort Prince Philip used to vacation there.
Britain has a big deal with St. George :

I would like to know this commenting group’s opinion of Bible prophesy about the end times. I have no special knowledge about the future, but apparently there is to be a one world currency and one government throughout the world. That would seem to be the end of nationalism, the end of a multipolar world. So unless I don’t correctly understand Bible prophesy, the MAGA movement in the United States, Putin’s efforts to preserve Russia, China’s effort at economic hegemony, etc., all these movements are doomed to failure.
Not that I like this one world government prophesy; to the contrary, the notion seems repugnant. On the other hand, prophesy also predicts Christ’s return, ending these one-worlders once and for all. Seems like a lot of suffering to come for those unfortunates who will be ruled by this tyranny prior to Christ’s return.
How does this group view Bible prophesy? And yes this is a loaded question. Quite loaded, indeed
It is so loaded it will never fly. The Wright Brothers knew what it takes to fly.

According to Austrian member of EU parliament, Lukas Mandl, first step for Serbia, ( like Macedonia expected to change her name, followed by identity, history, language etc in order to “join EU” ), is to recognise Kosovo.
Why Balkan politicians even consider EU, NATO etc. “membership” is beyond the understanding of the rational mind. Something only the politicians themselves know.
China Begins Using Caspian & Black Sea Routes For European Trade
Right in the middle of a war using the Caspian and Black Seas.
Several Western countries were against this development.

Russia firing ‘barrage of missiles’ at Ukraine from Caspian Sea
https://www.republicworld.com/world-news/russia-ukraine-crisis/russia-ukraine-war-news-live-updates-day-70-may-4-2022-liveblog.html
I believe mostly Russian planes are hitting Ukraine from the Caspain but some Russian ships are involved. I would hate to be Ukraine, even more, if they should fire back and hit a Chinese vessel.

China has begun opening a new route for freight trains from Xi’an (China’s northwest Shaanxi province) to Germany’s Mannheim using multi-modal rail and sea transport through the Black Sea and Caspian Sea, according to ADY Containers in Azerbaijan.
The first train with 42 containers (316 tons) left Xi’an on April 13. The route to Mannheim is 11,300 km and passes through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic to Mannheim.
The containers are sent to Azerbaijan’s Baku port by a feeder ship after the train arrives at Kazakhstan’s Aqtau port, then by rail to the Georgia’s Poti port and then to Europe via the Black Sea.
An increase in volume of cargo transportation in the region is expected against the backdrop of sanctions against Russia and Iran. Azerbaijan is becoming increasingly important in Eurasian cargo transport. This implementation of regional projects confirms that in terms of international cargo transportation, Azerbaijan is turning into a regional hub. The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is also being integrated into this route.
The BTK line was implemented as a result of Azerbaijan’s efforts, despite pressure from several Western countries who were against the development. With the current situation between Russia and Europe, the route has become a vital connection between Asia and the EU. According to ADY, non-energy products transported through Azerbaijan have increased 65% since 2019.
“Existing infrastructure, also the digitalization of procedures related to international cargo transportation, will ultimately create opportunities for a special contribution to economy of Azerbaijan as a result of the operation of line, which will stretch from China to Germany through Azerbaijan, which will naturally become one of the sources of revenues in non-oil sector, and contribute to the growth of Azerbaijan’s state revenues” said the company.
Azerbaijan MP Azer Badamov said that “New perspectives on economic cooperation of the countries of world have appeared with the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Importance of the international transport corridors we have created is growing day by day while the traditional routes connecting Asia with Europe are beginning to lose their importance. Azerbaijan has modernized road infrastructure within the country, created new international transport corridors by putting into operation Baku International Sea Trade Port and Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway by joining the Belt & Road Initiative.”
Baku’s International Sea Trade Port has a transshipment capacity of 10 million tons of cargo per year and can is able to double this volume. “More than five million tons of cargo were transshipped through the port in 2021, which is 20 percent more compared to 2020. This indicates that interest in the routes passing through Azerbaijan is growing,” the MP added.
“The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway has potential for the transportation of 6.5 million tons of cargo at initial stage and more than 15 million tons at subsequent stage. These international corridors provided by Azerbaijan allow 15 days savings on transportation from China to Europe, which will become more and more important every day, since China announced the opening of the new route,” Bayramov said.
