I was a refugee for about 9 years of my life. Esp as a teen, where it can really scar for life in many. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. There are so many things we take for granted in the modern nation state. Security, opportunities of employment, health care, right to private property, a place of belonging, a sense of Purpose and camaraderie (in the wholesome states).. so many benefits that I could not possibly enumerate. A State is a generally useful shield against predators foreign & domestic, and protective of “civilization.” And by the way this is precisely why the supranational technocrats seek to destroy the modern nation state and turn the whole world into a Libya. That is more conducive to the ideal insecure and fearful environment of a docile slave plantation.
So yeah there are a few superficial benefits that we see – things like free cash and subsidized housing and woke perks, but the costs outweighs the benefits by orders of magnitude.. worst of all may be that you are hostage to the whims and diktat of insufferable xenophobic bureaucrats and social engineers and Gene Sharps without shame who deploy you against the host majority as a weapon..

Although it cannot be reasonably disputed that he was fully apprised of the wef agenda and willingly advanced same, one would tend to think if walling-in was the goal, then he would have had less resistance and more support from his underling colleagues. Well, sorta… Back in the day I was taught that one does not own real-estate in the same way one might own a hammer or a pile of steel. Rather, as I recall, one owns a “basket of rights to the reasonable use”. These rights may include specific mineral rights, water rights, the right to convey, etc. And the State can limit these rights at will, generally without compensation. Sooo, say you “own” the oil rights…fine, but the State can forbid you from extracting that oil. You may own a lot, or a farm, or a forest, but be prohibited from doing anything with it except paying taxes on it…and the list goes on, and on. Recently “our” State laid claim to 100% of the subsurface water – a “taking” without compensation or due process – In Wyoming it’s ordinary that ranchers “own” surface grazing rights, but not mineral rights…and it’s possible, I think, to own “life rights” that revert when you die to the seller, and he may himself have sold these, etc.
Withal, “ownership” consists of the right to pay taxes… Sean, it’s about the same both for you and us, only a different “legalistic logic”… I suppose it comes down to Power, like Comrade Mao said about Power, and where it comes from. The old William Tell routine…
