All of us are currently thinking of the unmitigated Autumn catastrophes facing NATO/UkroNazis..
▪︎ The Autumn Cold will strip foliage from trees, rendering them [exposed] sitting ducks on the sparsely covered Steppes and forests
▪︎ The Autumn Rains & Mud will bog down their ill-suited western-made armoured vehicles, again making them [immobile] sitting ducks
▪︎ there was a period in my youth I enjoyed listening to John Facenda’s Poetic ruminations and enunciations. He made a sport as artistic and subtle as a dull rusted meat cleaver appear elegant and balletic, especially with attendant slo-mo footage..

Dear AHH, You are very kind. I don’t know how much I have my finger on
the pulse of anything but my own inner nudges and intuitions, trying as I
have been to distance myself for many years from politics and the disastrous
fate of my own native Makedonija. However, since I’ve extended my creative
musings to poetry ( due mainly to a wondrous Soul who’s no longer with us,
and whose calendar is still available here at Saker’s Vineyard ), I’ve found a
wonderful way to reach down inside and express a universal sense of “what it
means to be human” – to use Ras’ phrase – and thus avoid the rage I feel at
the aforementioned fate of my country, and hopefully reach people beyond the
political divide so to speak.
In that spirit, I’d like to share an autumn poem, to follow the lovely piece you’ve
shared above. The great gift of poetry is that it is an effective way to put one’s
self in the shoes of another’s experience, and thus empathise with their fate.
( To be fair, one does not entirely put one’s self in the “shoes of another”, but
adopts a structure in order to tell a story which of course, must begin and end
within one’s self, b/c if one does not find the experience within one’s self, the
resulting poem will not ring with authenticity ). And so, a poem like “My Darling,
My Lou”, expresses the fate of the countless folk who have lost loved ones as
a result of the sheer f..king idiocy that we’re spoon-fed every day, and expected
to accept and digest without so much as a ‘boo’ ( apologies but I tend to spew
profanities when I get angry ). The poem is set not quite one year after the
departure of a loved one, around the time when acceptance is almost complete.
Apologies, for my repeat posts, but I cannot churn out brand new poems
unfortunately. Something has to occur inwardly for an idea to hatch and then
become a ‘winged beauty’ in its own right. Sometimes this happens quickly,
but more often slowly. One cannot second guess the creative process, one
either tags along humbly and waits rather forlornly until at some point the
‘baton’ is suddenly in one’s hands. At that point, it’s all systems go!

That is true regarding Italy, traditionally closer to Russia than others, and Orthodox Bulgaria with much of whose population is against the madness?? However a sizeable portion of both elites are cynical and bought by Uncle $am.. Italy is occupied by US bases to a degree to perhaps rival Germany too. Russians mentioned Sigonella (in Sicily) recently as key air base warring on the Donbass.. and it is a US Navy HQ for Med fleet iirc. US would rather carve off Sicily than permit Italian “adventurism.” That may be in works anyhow as with Gibraltar, another useful Med stronghold. McCain & Gang visited Sofia just before the gas wars intensified and South Stream was killed off. Bulgaria served (and continues to serve?) as major arms hub for all US wars, especially under the CIA’s Operation Timber Sycamore.. Imagine the amount of kompromat on all their elites.. in fact wasn’t a former president the muscle or bodyguard of a mafia don??
So the Italian and Bulgarian populations are ill-served. IIRC, the EU-wide sanctions are renewable every six months (Dec and June?) I need to do research first, but 2023 may say to all years since 1945 combined, “Hold my Beer.” This is not only due to major Power clashes, but the expiration of the strange Treaty of Sèvres, which Erdogan once alluded to and looked forward to seeing its termination, eventhough it was never ratified and became superceded by the Treaty of Lausanne. What is happening in Iran is impoverished people out on the streets, angry at government corruption.
What sparked it was the murder of some innocent young girl by the morality police. But the thing that is keeping it all going is the sheer rage that people are feeling.
Many young men and women are out on the streets, in over 50 cities. The government has brought in armed forces and tanks to confront them.
The government has shut down mobile data internet access to all of Iran, so that the people cannot organize and communicate.
The government’s response has been sheer brutality, calling all the protestors Israeli agents and labelling their protests absolutely illegitimate.
Today the government is organizing a counter-protest, bringing its supporters to the streets, handing them flags and signs to wave.
The counter-protest is fully government sponsored and organized, whereas the original protests are happening spontaneously, and the government has done everything it can to stop them, including violence and shutting off nationwide internet access.
Many are dead so far, on both sides.
People have set fire to mosques in multiple cities, as a sign of rage against the Islamist principles of the ruling elite.

These protesters are for the most part just young people who are unhappy with the economic situation. They are completely disorganized, and they have no leader.
Why are they protesting? One square meter of apartment in Tehran is now averaging 500 million Rials. That means a 50 square meter apartment costs 2500 million Rials. The average wage of the young protestors is 50 million Rials a month, barely enough to cover expenses.
If you earn 50 million Rials a month, and you don’t spend a penny of it, how long before you can buy a 50 square meter apartment in Tehran? Keep in mind that there is no such thing as a mortgage in Iran, and you have to pay cash up-front if you want to buy a home. So, how long will it take to save up 2500 million?
Now, look at that number, 2500 million. What does it say about inflation and the value of the currency? It says that by the time you save up 2500 million to buy a tiny apartment, the apartment will cost at least double that.
This is why the Iranian people are protesting.
But AHH, as you have never been to Iran, I wouldn’t expect you to understand.
As I said before, the economic situation in Iran is hopeless. I These protests will only get worse and worse. Meanwhile, every week there is news of some government official embezzling tens of thousands of billions of Rials and leaving the country.

Why does Iran get held to some high example? Because the Supreme Leader of Iran claims to be divinely appointed. Because he claims to be God’s representative on Earth, and the Islamic Republic touts itself as the last righteous and just government in the world.
US sanctions have been working for a long time, but in the last few years, a series of scandals have rocked Iran. The government, strapped for cash to give to Hezbollah, Syria, Yemen, etc, stole from the Iranian population in the most unfair manner possible. This is what started the true unrest.
And mandatory vaccination alienated more of their supporters.
The problem with Iran is this attitude of labelling all protests color revolutions. Sometimes people are legitimately upset, and they need to be heard. This is one of those times.

I live in Brazil and I fulky support the desire of the people to govern themselves, that is, I support the referendum in Donbass and I am against the killing of civilians, wherever they are.
Also I am in favor of a multipolar world, of the protection of nature, of peace, of a roof and food for everybody.
The problem us that I do not know what we should do in an individual basis.

I was blocked in the Twitter and also in the brazilian Sputinik. The first fave me a false explanation and the second no one. I am sure that I gave no reason for them block me. But there are no means to the users guarantee the fair play of these private apps.
So I think that we the peopke shoukd have an international web cntrolled by us, with proper funding, rules, and democratic decision instances to define the destiny if the web and the behaviour of the members.
Also we should have a solidarity web to help the people in need to help to bypass the not so transparent ONGs that also are used by the Empire to control us.

There’s plenty of chatter about LNG, but only rarely does anyone speak about how much gas burn it takes to “make” LNG. There are two ways used, both are refrigeration schemes, and both require very large compressors, with correspondingly large prime-movers. In an engineering sense, there are equations in thermodynamics… But leaving such rigors aside, it’s about 10% of the heat energy – about 10% of the gas goes up in flames to liquefy the remaining 90%. Then, well, one must load the ships and run the prime movers there, etc etc. It’s “refrigerated” in transit by gassing, ie evaporation – and sometimes this offgassing is used to power said P movers. Some leaks to atmosphere, some via flare. Withal, LNG is lossy.

I was on a web site, monkey werx, not somewhere I’d normally go, but the guy had a 3D diagram, elevation and type of aircraft flying, guess some type of app that tracks all type of military aircraft…..what I found interesting, as I’d much suspected from ground level observation, one plane flew east maybe 500 miles, did a 180, then flew back the other way (west) same distance, did a 180, then flew east again, same distance, and the plane did it about 12 or more times, nice straight lines, equal distance.
Good coverage on what’s flying around the Black Sea, Ukraine, Russia borders also. Even mentions the type of planes running weather mod……just found it interesting the amount of planes, military, flying ,24/7 by the looks of it.

One doesn’t have to be a visitor or a focused expert to appreciate the patterns of shenanigans.. there is in fact a concept used in developed countries’ corporations, universities, governments etc.. where they bring in an outside expert, not necessarily connected to the discipline under study at all, in order to double check their work or to provide quality control or to help reach decisions; it is precisely as that dispassionate outsider brings a less biased and wholesome perspective often not considered.. he is not mired in the depths of the forest and has the eagle view. iow, we don’t need to be Iranian to appreciate aspects of Iranian geopolitics or diagnose/anticipate where events go.

Because if there is anyone who would know it would be Henry. Because, well, some things don’t seem to “add-up”, so to speak. I’ll try to explain…
Over in Old Europa things don’t seem to be making sense to me. On the one hand we appear to have the Russian Group which seeks to destroy it, and on the other we seem to have the European Group which seeks to destroy it.
When the annals are written of this period in the World history (if there is any means of doing so in that future time), scholars would first direct their attention to The Ukraine. Because, as one current commentator has written, “the professional warmongers…made Ukraine their next special project. They engineered the 2014 coup in Kiev that ousted the elected president, Mr. Yanyukovich, to set up a giant grifting parlor and international money-laundromat”.
Fair enough. It was about “money”. But then when these “professional warmongers” had control over said Ukraine, they then begin to do things that really had nothing to do with money, e.g. “Kiev’s persecution of the Russian-speaking Donbas provinces, the constant shelling and harassment by Banderite Nazis…and the ever more strident urgings for Ukraine to join NATO…which would have made it, in effect, a forward missile base right up against Russia’s border” (same source as above). This was Power Politics, international-style.
Whether anticipated or not (still not clear to our future scholars these many years later), the president of Russia at that time, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, had had enough of this and made good on his promise to “do something” if the “professional warmongers” continued their efforts. He set up a Special Military Operation (as opposed to a war) and in late February 2022 launched offensive operations at The Ukraine in order to basically do three things: (1) to dismantle the Ukrainian military, (2) to eliminate the Neo-Nazi element in same and in the civil government, and (3) prevent Ukraine from joining N.A.T.O. (North Atlantic Treaty Organization).
As a response the aforementioned “professional warmongers” expressed ‘Outrage’ at such a barbaric act; and, via their massive power through the European Union [q.v.], they orchestrated a wide-ranging economic “sanctions” package to punish Russia – in effect “war by other means”. All well and good. So far everything leads nicely to everything else. ‘Russia bad, Professional Warmongers good’.
But! What happened next was really odd. The ‘wide-ranging sanctions’ had little effect on Russia but a huge effect upon Europe! It now seemed that the object of the “professional warmongers” may have been Europe all along and that the whole Ukrainian-Russian conflict may have been just a ruse de guerre. Because the sanctions had a boomerang effect upon Europe, whilst doing little to Russia.
Furthermore, rather than withdraw the sanctions once their effect was seen as contrary to their ostensible goal, the “professional warmongers” did no such thing! As the cant phrase of that time put it, they “doubled-down”. They appeared to want to destroy Europe rather than Russia. Odd. Something just doesn’t seem to add up here.
There is one fact which we have not considered, and that is that these “professional warmongers”, as we’ve called them, could very well have been an arm of a powerful non-governmental organization of that time, the World Economic Forum (W.E.F.) located in Davos, Switzerland. Their main objective at that time was what they called a “Great Re-set”. This was basically predicated upon a planned destruction of the existing international order, and when complete the W.E.F. intended on substituting their Re-set (what some have called the New World Order).
Our hypothetical scholars may have wondered, were both things “cut from the same cloth” so to speak? Was the goal to destroy Russia and Europe? But if the planners knew the sanctions would back-fire and destroy Europe then the planners must have known that said sanctions would not destroy Russia – and they never expected that they would! This would indeed be what another cant phrase of the time called “three-dimensional Chess”. Or if there is a fourth dimension, Time, then “four-dimensional Chess”.
This point in time now takes us back to our beginning. Putting to the side Europe, why would these “professional warmongers” want to destroy Russia in the first place? What did they have against Russia, per se ? One admittedly cogent argument would be that Russia was not amenable to this Great Re-set; that, in fact, its government and people were against it.
This whole period in the World history certainly needs further study as there seem to be layers upon layers, like those proverbial Russian dolls within dolls. I wish I knew…

The tanks are pretty thin and operate at at internal pressure of less than 1 bar…I’d guess that the hydrostatic shock from even a small explosion internal to a tank would cause a sudden and large metastatic series of chemistry demonstrations…the fluid leaks while probably burning, leaks out onto the sea, a cold gas cloud forms, mixes with air, and then yes, it explodes. A massive A/F event. In real world it’s hard to predict how the cookie will crumble. Much depends of unknown variables..like wind and sea conditions, available ignition sources, etc. I assume a deliberate attack would use the “double-tap a few seconds ( 30? )apart…first shot opens the tanks, second shot lights the cloud.
Long time ago El Paso LNGship lost power near Gibraltar, (engine department is said to have concealed from inspectors known defects in the feedwater level controller in boiler-room, they lost steam as result) Anyway ship went on the rocks near Algeciras. There the rocks chewed through the hull and most of the tank insulation. It was a very near thing…they chartered 747 to fly cryogenic hoses from the US to the ship, then charters lighter’d off the LNG. Rocks were 2 inches from tank wall when ship was inspected in drydock. My source was a fella who sailed on LNG ships at that time. We’ll keep his name out of this, as I think he’s still alive.
