My understanding of crypto, limited at best, but what I’ve been told, and my quick base touch at Google confirms what I’ve been told. It requires, due to the small bits of bytes(my guess) major mechanical computations which in turn consumes large amounts of electricity. Sparse electricity at that, especially in ….hmm, the Ukraine, which did up untill recently have large amounts, excess almost, feeding EU even. Great place to run crypto mining operations. Which requires warehouse full quantities of servers, all running at the same time…. again, what I’ve been told.
But as the Ukrainian power generation went poof, almost overnight, hmm, two nights at first, and many nights since, big crypto mining hocus pocus in Ukraine, hmm…..goes poof. Lights out…..oh, right, the lights are out. Mine shut down. Big nasty surprise.
Ten to one, Russia was well aware where the fauxny money was being washed.
I wonder if the time lines, power grid distruction, and FTX degeneration are the same.

Slow uptake day…..now I know why certain countries went FUBAR on Russia right from day one. They will all have had their crypto server operations running out of the Ukraine using dirt cheap electrical power. Mining crypto, every country of a five eyed variety will have been doing it, how many of their hanger ons got stung? I even read where the Ontario Teachers Union had real money invested in crypto money invested with FTX……..poof!
Big rabbit hole me thinks, maybe someone will look down it………..when the power comes back on.
Had nothing to do with crypto, closer to corruption being an ok thing and no problem with the tax man either, this looks like its going too be gravy.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for the first time published footage of the use of Moskit drones in the zone of the special operation, using them against the communication systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Reportedly, these UAVs were created on the basis of the Orlan-10 reconnaissance drone. They are equipped with additional modules that contain electronic equipment designed to suppress enemy control and data transmission channels. “Mosquitoes” are used at the forefront in order to disorganize enemy troops. UAVs jam communications at a distance of up to 5 km, thereby making it difficult for enemy units to interact “at zero” (forefront) with headquarters deployed in the rear.
At the same time, Mosquito is still equipped with surveillance systems, which allows the operator to switch between electronic devices and video equipment and perform both electronic warfare and aerial reconnaissance tasks, revealing enemy positions, including sources of radio emission.
Previously, the Ministry of Defense did not demonstrate the combat work of the Mosquitoes. Their official appearance indicates that Russian drones have begun jamming enemy communications at the forefront. Previously, the work of only ground-based radio suppression equipment and aircraft of the Su family equipped with EW containers was shown.
Equipping small-sized drones with an electronic warfare system indicates certain successes in the Russian defense industry in miniaturizing equipment. This direction has long remained one of the bottlenecks of the domestic military-industrial complex. Apparently, Russian developers have managed to make progress in this area.
