Putin Doesn’t Bluff
The war in Ukraine has been in a partial hiatus for the past two months. But that hiatus is coming to an end as Russia prepares its next move. Today, we’re looking ahead to what’s coming next.
And here’s a hint: We could be entering a very dangerous period.
First off, the situation on the ground in Ukraine is best understood as a competition between the narrative and reality.
The narrative consists of what you hear from mainstream media, the White House, the Pentagon, and official sources in the U.K., France, Germany and both EU and NATO headquarters in Brussels.
The narrative says that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, AFU, have beaten back Russian forces and reoccupied Kherson, which lies strategically on the Dnipro River, Kyiv’s main access to the Black Sea.
Based on these advances, the narrative says that Russia is in retreat, Russian troops are demoralized, Putin is in jeopardy of being replaced and complete victory for Ukraine is just a matter of time.
The narrative is then used as a basis for increased financial aid from the United States (over $60 billion and growing) and increased weapons shipments from NATO members.
Narrative vs. Reality
But as I’ve explained recently, the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine is almost completely at odds with the Western narrative.
It’s true that Ukraine made recent advances in the east, but they were against lightly defended Russian positions on or near open terrain.
Much has been made of Ukraine’s retaking of Kherson, but Russia regarded it as a city of little strategic value. Rather than waste resources fighting for it, they withdrew.
The Russians also let the Ukrainians have the open land, which will later become a killing field for Russian artillery. That’s the reality you’re not being told.
In the words of retired U.S. Army Col. Douglas Macgregor:
The Biden administration repeatedly commits the unpardonable sin in a democratic society of refusing to tell the American people the truth: Contrary to the Western media’s popular “Ukrainian victory” narrative, which blocks any information that contradicts it, Ukraine is not winning and will not win this war. Months of heavy Ukrainian casualties, resulting from an endless series of pointless attacks against Russian defenses in southern Ukraine, have dangerously weakened Ukrainian forces.
Russia Is Preparing to Lower the Hammer
In the meantime, Russia is preparing to launch a massive counteroffensive.
It’s completed its 300,000-man mobilization, with over 180,000 of those troops now deployed behind Russian lines in combat formations. The remaining 120,000 troops will arrive soon. This brings total Russian strength up to about 30 divisions.
Once again, Col. Macgregor:
The coming offensive phase of the conflict will provide a glimpse of the new Russian force that is emerging and its future capabilities…The numbers continue to grow, but the numbers already include 1,000 rocket artillery systems, thousands of tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones, plus 5,000 armored fighting vehicles, including at least 1,500 tanks, hundreds of manned fixed-wing attack aircraft, helicopters and bombers. This new force has little in common with the Russian army that intervened nine months ago on Feb. 24, 2022.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian strength has been greatly diminished due to high casualty rates and being stretched thin.
Then What?
If successful, the upcoming counteroffensive would give Russia control of the entire coast from the Sea of Azov to the Black Sea. It would also give Russia control of the Dnipro River, which separates the western part of Ukraine from the eastern part and connects Kyiv to the Black Sea.
Ukraine would be left as a rump state between Kyiv and Lviv. Almost all the industrial, technological and natural resource capacity of former Ukraine would be under Russian control.
Whether any of this succeeds remains to be seen. Still, it is definitely coming, and the situation will grow more violent and chaotic.
The question then becomes, would the U.S. stand by and watch Russia defeat Ukraine militarily? Will it become more directly involved in ways that could risk actual conflict with Russia?
After all, the U.S. is essentially fighting a proxy war against Russia. Ukraine is merely a means to an end as far as the U.S. goes. The U.S. has committed significant resources to defeat Russia, and a Russian victory would further undermine U.S. credibility in the world.
The chances of escalation are therefore significant.
The Greatest Risk of Nuclear Confrontation Since the Cuban Missile Crisis
Depending on how events unfold, the world is potentially facing the greatest risk of nuclear confrontation since the Cuban Missile Crisis. A limited nuclear war is a real possibility in the not-distant future.
Why do I say that?
U.S. elites have started psychological operations (psyops) aimed at Putin with nuclear weapons as the bait. They claim that Putin has threatened to use tactical weapons in Ukraine and possibly other parts of Eastern and Central Europe.
That’s a lie; Putin never said that. When asked, both Putin and Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev said that if attacked, Russia would defend itself by all means necessary including the possible use of nuclear weapons. That’s not news. That has been Russian or Soviet policy since the early 1950s.
This lie about Putin’s intentions quickly morphed into another psyop about a “false flag” operation. That’s when you stage an attack disguised to look like an attack by your enemy in order to justify your own “retaliation,” which you were planning all along.
Nukes, “Dirty Bombs” and False Flags
Recently the narrative that Putin would use nukes or conduct a false flag operation morphed into a related narrative that Putin would use a “dirty bomb.” In effect, Putin would detonate a dirty bomb and then blame the Ukrainians and Americans. A dirty bomb is not a nuclear weapon, but it does employ radioactive material wrapped around conventional explosives.
When detonated, the radioactive material is dispersed and can poison or kill any people or livestock in the area. It’s akin to what happened at Chernobyl in 1986. That nuclear reactor meltdown was an accident, not a bomb. But the effect of spreading radioactive material was similar to a dirty bomb.
Not to be outdone, the Russians countered by saying the U.S. or Ukraine would conduct the false flag by detonating a dirty bomb and then blaming the Russians as an excuse to escalate Western involvement in Ukraine. At this point, we have both sides warning the other side will conduct a false flag with a dirty bomb in order to justify their own pre-planned escalation.
If a dirty bomb does go off, each side will blame the other and the truth will be a casualty of war.
Putin Doesn’t Bluff
It’s difficult to know what comes next. It could be that Russia uses a tactical nuclear weapon. Russia might detonate a dirty bomb and blame Ukraine. The U.S. may use a tactical nuclear weapon if it suspects Russia is about to do so, an example of a first-strike advantage. The U.S. may detonate a dirty bomb and blame Russia in a classic false flag operation.
Regardless, it’s not difficult to know that we’re on a path to nuclear war.
We also know that Putin doesn’t bluff. When George W. Bush raised the issue of Ukrainian entry into NATO, Putin invaded Georgia. When Obama staged a coup against a pro-Russian president in Kyiv, Putin annexed Crimea. When Biden green-lighted a Ukrainian assault in Donbas, Putin invaded Ukraine.
Again, Putin doesn’t bluff. It would be a great blunder to believe otherwise. We’re sleepwalking down a road that could potentially lead to Armageddon.
We also know that Putin doesn’t bluff. When George W. Bush raised the issue of Ukrainian entry into NATO, Putin invaded Georgia.
Not true! Georgia attacked South Ossetia and killed Russian peacekeepers and Russia responded. It had nothing to do with Bush or the Ukraine. Even the EU finally admitted that Georgia started the War!
You are correct in 2008 during the Winter Olympics Sashkavilli (Georgian leader) ordered an attack into Ossetia under the Empire’s orders.

President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, spoke for the first time today regarding our story, last week, which revealed former German Chancellor Angela Merkel LIED during the entire Minsk Agreement meetings, about cooperating for peace in Ukraine.
We reported last week that Merkel publicly admitted she knew Ukraine had no intention of honoring the peace agreements, and only signed those agreements to “buy time” to build up their armed forces. Put simply, the Gereman Chancellor and then-President of Ukraine, looked President Putin directly in the face, and deliberately lied to him. Repeatedly. During two marathon meetings which became the basis for the “Minsk Agreements.”
Today, President Putin spoke publicly about this deception.
He said he was disappointed when he found out Merkel deceived him. He said “trust almost fell to zero.” He wondered aloud “How do we negotiate now?” (i.e. There is no trust). “What can we negotiate?” (there is no trust.) “What are the guarantees? ” (There is no trust . . .)
Putin went on to say that this deception only reinforced the reality that Russia, choosing to engage in the Special Military Operation (SMO) in Ukraine, was the right decision.
Former German Chancellor Angela Merkel yesterday admitted that her participation in the Minsk Agreements between Ukraine and Russia in 2014 and 2015, was a deliberate deception; designed only to “buy time” for Ukraine to build its army for war with Russia. A war that is now presently taking place.
All this was PLANNED . . .
It is widely known that so-called “Conspiracy Theorists” believe almost all of the things going on politically in the world are “theater.” They claim that the upheaval, dislocation, troubles are “all planned” long in advance. Most folks discount such claims as being too fantastic to believe, yet now we have actual proof that the present Ukraine-Russia war, was, in fact, planned as far back as 2014. All the troubles we have today from that war . . . were, in fact, planned.
In public remarks this week, Angela Merkel quite casually revealed that the Minsk Agreements of 2014 and 2015 were not signed with the intention of achieving lasting peace. Instead, they were signed, according to Merkel, “to buy time” for Ukraine during which it would strengthen for new conflicts with Russia.
She also admitted that at the time “NATO was not able to provide military support to the Kiev regime to the extent to which it does so today.”
Merkel went on to point out that “Ukraine used that time to get stronger” and event went so far as to say “the Ukraine from 2014-2015 is not the Ukraine we see today” and that Russian President Vladimir Putin “would have easily run over” Ukraine back then.
Bear in mind that the Minsk Agreements were hammered-out during what were described as “marathon negotiations” in one case, lasting a non-stop nineteen hours, between then-Ukraine-President Petro Poroshenko, German Chancellor Merkel, French President Francois Holland, and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
It was only this past June, 2022, when the world found out that Ukraine’s former President Petro Poroshenko publicly admitted he deliberately LIED at the Minsk agreements, participating in them even though he already knew he had no intentional at all of implementing them.
In an interview with German Television Deutche Welle, Poroshenko said the Minsk agreements “meant nothing” and claimed credit for giving Kiev enough time to militarize
Petro Poroshenko admitted that the 2015 ceasefire in Donbass, which he negotiated with Russia, France and Germany as president of Ukraine, was merely a distraction intended to buy time for Kiev to rebuild its military.
He made the comments in interviews with several news outlets back in June of this year, including to Germany’s Deutsche Welle television and to the Ukrainian branch of the US state-run Radio Free Europe. Poroshenko also defended his record as president between 2014 and 2019.
“We had achieved everything we wanted,” he said of the peace deal. “Our goal was to, first, stop the threat, or at least to delay the war – to secure eight years to restore economic growth and create powerful armed forces.”
He cited Sun Tzu’s stratagems as an inspiration for the deception. Winning a war does not necessarily require winning military engagements, Poroshenko said, calling the deal he made a win for Ukraine in that regard.
In the interviews, Poroshenko spoke about his role in negotiating the Minsk agreements, a roadmap for reconciliation between his government and the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. The former president apparently confirmed that Kiev hadn’t come to the talks in good faith, but simply wanted a reprieve after suffering a military defeat.
Now, with the comments made by former German Chancellor Angela Merekel, the world finds out that she, too, was “in on it.” She KNEW the entire Minsk Agreement meetings were nothing more than a farce, yet she sat through those meetings, face-to-face with the President of Russia, and deliberately, willfully, LIED right to his face.
What kind of people must Merkel and Poroshenko be, that, as heads of state, (or even just as plain, ordinary people) they could willfully sit at a serious negotiation for peace, when in reality, they were simply planning for a much worse war, years later? Does that make Merkel and Poroshenko Sociopaths? Psychopaths?
Based on web definitions of sociopath and psychopath, both people may very well qualify for those diagnosis.
Agree, we have a genuine epidemic of “psychopathology” happening right before our eyes.
It seems to be ‘catching’ but there may be another explanation: the psychos have been exposed trying to start a few wars…. make a few bucks…

Maybe I missed it @ MoA, but my view is that Hausfrau M and the entire Minsk2 affair was to rescue a large NATO force kettled in 404…to avoid utter defeat and ridicule…while VVP “trusted” her only in a proforma sense…as he had his own agenda…SS400 was only a prototype back then, and many other machines had to be built up and so on. Further, rejecting a legal deal to stop a war is not a thing that a lawyer/Law Professor would do… Of course, he made the correct choice – and he has made naziwestfinks look even nastier and stupider than previously…and he has now a solid legal reason to proceed with the matter of liquidating NATO and denazification of globe.

The articles suggest ‘influence peddling’ of US political figures and the intimidation of a Ukrainian prosecutor who was investigating corruption in this circle involving a Ukrainian energy firm. Who was subsequently “fired” after US aid money was threatened to be withheld by then US VP, around 2016. All the while Donbass being under siege.
The recent release of the Twitter Files connects dots from then till now. Many influential players were determined to keep Trump out of the US Presidency and bring Democrats in at any cost.
Thus, while blaming Russia for the collusion, through Twitter they orchestrated a scheme to ensure Ukraine could remain a 404 country by tainting the US election. And keeping a revolving-door for dark money open, cycled through a now infamous crypto giant. The same one now accused of financing the DNC in that same election.

The destruction of Russia was plan A. It did not work.
So now we are witnessing the destruction of Europe. And the europeans are too stupid, dumbed down and lazy to understand what is happening to them.
All focus in western media is Russia, Putin, Ukraine and Zelensky.
Meanwhile over in Europe… Total disaster…
Take a step back and look at the development in Europe the last decades…
But of course the World Bank, IMF and all the rest will buy our land very cheap and “rescue” us.

The oft quoted “eye for an eye…” is in the original sense, probably a limitation on vengeance.
Let’s look at the way things are to-day and ask, does the State (any State) run fair Courts? Are the Laws fair? And are the “punishments” proportional?
Eye for eye calls for proportionality…the specifics of mutilation are anachronistic.
I used “punishments” because they are merely what our State politely calls it when the King seizes the private right to settle disputes…by violence and various levels of torture for varying times.
If the Courts are fair, the laws reasonable and according to long custom, and provided that the King works effectively to keep the State and people prosperous there arise only a few disputes, a few crimes, a few torts…Then, then agreeing to relinquish the natural right to vengeance, lending this to the State is a very good idea.
As things go, however, in Time rule sometimes be suborned by criminal gangs. Let’s call them “nazis”.
If that happens then the Law goes “poof!”
I should be very sorry to see private vengeance arise again, as few men can restrain themselves to the limit of “eye for eye…” Yet all ’round the globe this is precisely the scene.

Just for the hell of it and for the record, the term “quickenning” I first heard from Andrei Martyanov, and used instead of acceleration, I think. It was Assange back in 2011 who belled the cat re: prolonged, normalized wars. They serve a three-fold purpose, the third being a form of psychological sickness, i.e. to be “well adjusted” in a sick society :

If I were a cop, and I was making a list of suspects related to machine sabotage…well…I get a list of experts. In this matter linemen, the high voltage linemen and the HV fellas from power stations. Then I’d ask cui bono of that list… Live substations are liable to kill the saboteur, unless he knows his way around…and so far, we learn of no corpse…

I note that all machines have a death wish, a machine intent they cannot escape, and which cannot be changed. Power systems are machines. (so are governments, BTW)
