Each Coming Night
Will you say when I’m gone away
“My lover came to me and we’d lay”?
In rooms unfamiliar but until now, oh-oh-oh-oh
Until now, oh-oh-oh-oh
Until now
Will you say to them when I’m gone
“I loved your son for his sturdy arms”?
We both learned to cradle then live without, oh-oh-oh-oh
Live without, oh-oh-oh-oh
Live without
Will you say when I’m gone away
“Your father’s body was judgement day”?
We both dove and rose to the riverside, oh-oh-oh-oh
Riverside, oh-oh-oh-oh
Riverside
Will you say to me when I’m gone
“Your face has faded but lingers on”?

Moldova collapses as PM resigns

Gavrilita’s resignation resulted in the collapse of Moldova’s government
Ukraine Loses an Ally After Warning That Putin Planned to ‘Destroy’ Moldova
BY JON JACKSON ON 2/10/23 AT 10:31 AM EST
Moldova’s prime minister, Natalia Gavrilita, resigned on Friday, soon after her country confirmed reports that a Russian missile had entered its airspace.
Gavrilita’s resignation resulted in the collapse of Moldova’s government. Her government was viewed as being pro-Western, and she was an outspoken ally of President Volodymyr Zelensky from neighboring Ukraine.
Moldova has been hit recently with high inflation as well as an energy crisis after Russia reduced supplies. Concerns have also increased about Russia taking further action against Moldova since Russian President Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine last February 24, especially since Russia maintains troops in Moldova’s breakaway region of Transnistria.
On Thursday, Zelensky told European Union leaders in Brussels that his country had intercepted plans by Russian security services of an alleged plot to “destroy” Moldova. Later that day, Moldova’s Intelligence and Security Service released a statement saying it had received information that detailed Russian plans to destabilize the country.
In discussing her decision to step down during a news conference, Gavrilita cited a lack of support for enacting her planned reforms but did not reference the recent report out of Ukraine about a Russian missile crossing over Moldova’s airspace on early Friday.
That report came from General Valeriy Zaluzhny, the commander-in-chief of Ukraine’s armed forces, who announced that two Russian missiles were launched from the Black Sea and passed over the borders of Moldova and Romania before re-entering Ukraine.
Romania, a member of NATO, later said a Russian missile had not crossed over borders. However, Moldova said that one of Putin’s missiles violated its airspace. As a result, Moldovan Foreign Minister Nicu Popescu summoned Russia’s ambassador to Moldova over what he called an “unacceptable” incident.
“If our government had had the same support at home as we had from our European partners, we could have advanced further and faster,” Gavrilita said during her Friday press conference. “Moldova is entering a new phase, one in which security is our priority.”
She also said that no one expected her government to “have to manage so many crises caused by Russian aggression in Ukraine.”
Gavrilita last year publicly condemned Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and Moldova welcomed hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian refugees who fled because of the war. In an interview with CNN last summer, Gavrilita said Moldova was “very worried” of being the next country targeted by a Russian invasion.
“If a country can start an annexation war without any regard for international law, then in this sense, nobody is safe,” Gavrilita said. “I think a lot of countries are worried.”

I came to the Saker blog after twice seeing a link on a mainstrea nnewspaper comments thread, about ten years ago At that time, the msm onliine newspapers had open threads for all political and other articles and neews items, and informed comments there were from highly intellifent peopl, and where I also learned a lot.
.
When this gradually tightened and stopped, I got to know this site, and contributed in various ways as best I could, and commented also, but was never a moderator, nor had any behind the scenes communications so to say, but sensed a lot,, and also who the moderators were in part. This was not hard really, especially if you have a sense for the person behind the comment, irrespecctive of what they say.
An objective faculty, whether one likes to admit or realise this or not, but the future depends on its development, particularly now and in future eras of spiritual war.
It is electronic, but I am here, and you are there, and that is a reality.
I have learned so much at the Sakers, and especially have enjoyed the surprise bursts of humour, whether subtle or overt, and the high quality of divine irony…. So many areas to have learned from, and especially appreciated have been the clear expressions of community, what this really means, which is brotherhood, and respect for all the amazing indivuals anywhere and everywhere, who work so hard, and with such depth of integrity and sincerity – even though some may have faults – for truth in our time !
Anticipate all farewells, as the river flowing past, and do your work well, as the saying goes…
Just to qualify, the time and political circumastancesof of first seeing links to Saker’s was Nato in Libya, my memory blurs, the death of Gaddafi, then Syria …. unclear in my mind as the level of input and analysis of those commenting on msm threads then, was similar to here, difficult to believe but true.

I don’t wamt to hear the US is not helping Turkey or Syria, whether you have a devastating earthquake or a hangnail you are getting an aircraft carrier.

Under the pretext of helping earthquake-hit Turkey, the United States sent an aircraft carrier group to its shores
The most devastating earthquake in Asia Minor in 80 years, on January 6, hit Turkey’s southeastern and central provinces the hardest. To date, more than 20 people have died in this country as a result of a natural disaster, more than 000 have been injured, thousands of homes and infrastructure have been destroyed.
Immediately after the appearance of reports of the catastrophe, Turkey’s NATO allies, Washington and Brussels called for consolidated assistance to Ankara. Currently, rescuers from more than ten countries are working in Turkey, one of the first planes with special equipment, specialists from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and doctors, was sent to the country by Russia.
But Washington seems to have decided to use the pretext of providing assistance to the affected country to increase its military presence in the region. Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder said that the US Navy is sending an aircraft carrier group to the coast of Turkey, ostensibly to eliminate the consequences of the earthquake. The squadron will include the aircraft carrier USS George HW Bush (“George Bush”) and escort ships. In the near future, US Navy warships will arrive in the eastern Mediterranean.
According to Ryder, the aircraft carrier group will provide logistical support to the rescue teams previously sent to Turkey by decision of the US European Command. Helicopters will be used to deliver everything needed to ground search and rescue teams.
Why, in order to fulfill a purely humanitarian mission, it was necessary to send a military squadron, and even led by an aircraft carrier, the Pentagon representative did not explain. Apparently, apart from sending warships, the United States has nothing more to help Turkey …
At the same time, the West is in no hurry to provide assistance to neighboring Syria, which was also badly affected by the earthquake. The European and American media show the destruction only in Turkish cities, there are no reports from the neighboring Arab republic in the Western media at all. In addition to Russia, only Iran, Iraq, Jordan help the people of Syria, China provides financial support.

Before we lose the site, lets not loose site of where it is that we are headed, reguardless of all the reasons, war, covid, inflation, ect, its a trend that appears to be hard to break, and if not broken, it could very easily break the system, and we right now are all a part of the questionable system.
Every week I see more things that are simply not coming back, (most of which I don’t buy, but now I am making a list of items to be found at any cost), especially in dollar stores and now here is a major city complaining of shortages,

just as everyone around the world is contracting up for weapons of war.
The world has never had this many people during major conflicts, and the system seems to be doing anything to survive its own destructive self, rather than prep ahead for resolving probable food shortages.
Just freeing up the fodder…….gonna need the bodies for the front ………

The ‘Battle of Los Angeles’
Or the City of Angels and those stinking balloons
World War II’s Bizarre ‘Battle of Los Angeles’
On February 25, 1942, an infamous false alarm saw American military units unleash a torrent of anti-aircraft fire in the skies over Los Angeles.
EVAN ANDREWSUPDATED:MAY 6, 2020ORIGINAL:FEB 23, 2017
In the frantic weeks that followed the Pearl Harbor attack, many Americans believed that enemy raids on the continental United States were imminent. On December 9, 1941, unsubstantiated reports of approaching aircraft had caused a minor invasion panic in New York City and sent stock prices tumbling.
On the West Coast, inexperienced pilots and radar men had mistaken fishing boats, logs and even whales for Japanese warships and submarines. Tensions were high, and they only grew after U.S. Secretary of War Henry Stimson warned that American cities should be prepared to accept “occasional blows” from enemy forces.
Just a few days later on February 23, 1942, a Japanese submarine surfaced off the coast of Santa Barbara, California, and hurled over a dozen artillery shells at an oil field and refinery. While the attack inflicted no casualties and caused only minor damage, it marked the first time that the mainland United States had been bombed during World War II.
The day after the oil field raid, paranoia and itchy trigger fingers combined to produce one of the most unusual home front incidents of the war. It began on the evening of February 24, 1942, when naval intelligence instructed units on the California coast to steel themselves for a potential Japanese attack.
All remained calm for the next few hours, but shortly after 2 a.m. on February 25, military radar picked up what appeared to be an enemy contact some 120 miles west of Los Angeles. Air raid sirens sounded and a citywide blackout was put into effect. Within minutes, troops had manned anti-aircraft guns and begun sweeping the skies with searchlights.
It was just after 3 a.m. when the shooting started. Following reports of an unidentified object in the skies, troops in Santa Monica unleashed a barrage of anti-aircraft and .50 caliber machine gun fire. Before long, many of the city’s other coastal defense weapons had joined in.
“Powerful searchlights from countless stations stabbed the sky with brilliant probing fingers,” the Los Angeles Times wrote, “while anti-aircraft batteries dotted the heavens with beautiful, if sinister, orange bursts of shrapnel.”
Chaos reigned over the next several minutes. It appeared that Los Angeles was under attack, yet many of those who looked skyward saw nothing but smoke and the glare of ack-ack fire.
“Imagination could have easily disclosed many shapes in the sky in the midst of that weird symphony of noise and color,” Coastal Artillery Corps Colonel John G. Murphy later wrote. “But cold detachment disclosed no planes of any type in the sky—friendly or enemy.”
For others, however, the threat appeared to be very real. Reports poured in from across the city describing Japanese aircraft flying in formation, bombs falling and enemy paratroopers. There was even a claim of a Japanese plane crash landing in the streets of Hollywood. “I could barely see the planes, but they were up there all right,” a coastal artilleryman named Charles Patrick later wrote in a letter. “I could see six planes, and shells were bursting all around them. Naturally, all of us fellows were anxious to get our two-cents’ worth in and, when the command came, everybody cheered like a son of a gun.”
The barrage eventually continued for over an hour. By the time a final “all-clear” order was given later that morning, Los Angeles’ artillery batteries had pumped over 1,400 rounds of anti-aircraft ammunition into the sky.
It was only in the light of day that the American military units made a puzzling discovery: there appeared to have been no enemy attack. “Although reports were conflicting and every effort is being made to ascertain the facts, it is clear that no bombs were dropped and no planes were shot down,” read a statement from the Army’s Western Defense Command.
Ironically, the only damage during the “battle” had come from friendly fire. Anti-aircraft shrapnel rained down across the city, shattering windows and ripping through buildings. One dud careened into a Long Beach golf course, and several residents had their homes partially destroyed by 3-inch artillery shells.
While there were no serious injuries from the shootout, it was reported that at least five people had died as a result of heart attacks and car accidents that occurred during the extended blackout. In a preview of the hysteria that would soon accompany the Japanese internment, authorities also arrested some 20 Japanese-Americans for allegedly trying to signal the nonexistent aircraft.
Over the next few days, government and media outlets issued contradictory reports on what later became known as the “Battle of Los Angeles.” Secretary of the Navy Frank Knox dismissed the firefight as a false alarm brought on by “jittery nerves,” but Secretary of War Henry Stimson echoed Army brass in saying that at least 15 planes had buzzed the city. He even advanced the provocative theory that the phantom fighters might have been commercial aircraft “operated by enemy agents” hoping to strike fear into the public.
Stimson later backpedaled his claims, but there was still the matter of the thousands of military personnel and civilians who claimed to have seen aircraft in the skies over L.A. According to an editorial in the New York Times, some eyewitnesses had spied “a big floating object resembling a balloon,” while others had spotted anywhere from one plane to several dozen. “The more the whole incident of the early morning of Feb. 25 in the Los Angeles district is examined,” the article read, “the more incredible it becomes.”
What caused the shootout over Los Angeles? The Japanese military later claimed it had never flown aircraft over the city during World War II, providing fuel for a host of bizarre theories involving government conspiracies and visits by flying saucers and extraterrestrials.
Still, the most logical explanation for the firefight is that trigger-happy servicemen and rudimentary radar systems combined to produce a false alarm. In 1983, the Office of Air Force History outlined the events of the L.A. air raid and noted that meteorological balloons had been released prior to the barrage to help determine wind conditions. Their lights and silver color could have been what first triggered the alerts. Once the shooting began, the disorienting combination of searchlights, smoke and anti-aircraft flak might have led gunners to believe they were firing on enemy planes even though none were actually present.
While it’s likely that the Battle of Los Angeles was only a mirage, it was still a chilling reminder of the vulnerability that many Americans felt at the beginning of World War II. The Japanese would later hatch several schemes to attack the American mainland—including launching over 9,000 explosives-laden “fire balloons”—yet none of them ever produced the level of mass hysteria that accompanied the phantom shootout over Los Angeles.
Even at the time, many journalists noted that it was fitting that the incident had taken place in the home of the film industry. In an article from March 1942, the New York Times wrote that as the “world’s preeminent fabricator of make-believe,” Hollywood appeared to have played host to a battle that was “just another illusion.”
Thinking of the poor fellas in 404 and the rhyming ways the Fates re-present History as Farce…

“The closest financial and economic cooperation between the Anglo-American and Nazi business circles was the background against which the policy of appeasement of the aggressor, which led to World War II, was carried out in the 30s.
Today, when the global financial elite has started implementing the Great Depression — 2 plan with the subsequent transition to the “new world order”, identifying its key role in organizing crimes against humanity is becoming a top priority.”

Excerpt> “1932 Secret Agreement: Wall Street Finances Hitler’s Nazi Party
On January 4th, 1932, a meeting was held between British financier Montagu Norman (Governor of the Bank of England), Adolf Hitler and Franz Von Papen (who became Chancellor a few months later in May 1932) At this meeting, an agreement on the financing of the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP or Nazi Party) was reached.
This meeting was also attended by US policy-makers and the Dulles brothers, something which their biographers do not like to mention.
A year later, on January 14th, 1933, another meeting was held between Adolph Hitler, Germany’s Financier Baron Kurt von Schroeder, Chancellor Franz von Papen and Hitler’s Economic Advisor Wilhelm Keppler took place, where Hitler’s program was fully approved.
It was here that they finally resolved the issue of the transfer of power to the Nazis, and on the 30th of January 1933 Hitler became Chancellor. The implementation of the fourth stage of the strategy thus begun.”

All I can think of is all the ways the war could have been avoided over the decades, yet every person involved blindly refused to avoid it, but leave in its wake a hatred of the ideological system and its participants that still has yet to be resolved war or no war.
Defending ones resources against the deer can be an expensive project. So if the deer gets the last laugh, let the skunk prove him wrong.
From the army to the police force, qualitative easing of the old standards, has lead to more problems not less.
Former Memphis police recruiters told The Associated Press of a growing desperation to fill hundreds of slots in recent years that drove the department to increase incentives and lower its standards.
“They would allow just pretty much anybody to be a police officer because they just want these numbers,” said Alvin Davis, a former lieutenant in charge of recruiting before he retired last year out of frustration. “They’re not ready for it.”

And considering the magician generally does use a “birdie”…
I wonder about the need for substance. Yes, is a balloon actually there if nobody is there to see?
Wouldn’t it be easier, and more believable too, to hire actors who are supposed to be witless, er, witnesses?
The magicians might spread junk and “debris” for “background”.
Even better if nothing was seen on radar…thus “establishing” the evil thingies to be cunning example of commie “stealth”… I mean, if nothing is seen aloft, and smashed junk lies strewn about.
Is balloon shadow big enough to keep the Germans from reading Sy Hersch’s story?

Wow. Thx. A peek into the bowels of the Ministry of Truth in all its considered care… Well first, the clearly excessive verbiage of the Health Effects section was conveniently reduced for our benefit (information overload management) from 1,092 to 237 words. And much of the former version redacted and redistributed into less distressing and impersonal subsections. iow, highlighting irrelevant peculiarities and effects on non humans. Second, the symptomatic toxicity threshold was blessedly raised from 4-7 ppm in some [non-human] studies to 4,000 ppm! Howaboutthat. Rigorous science at work, aye. Trust the [new] Science.
But what really caught my eye about this entire ritual, was in the first breaking news headline: the location was in East Palestine.
In fact, subsequently we learn to peruse the Plot in Three (3) Classic Acts: (1) the 2022 identical movie, (2) the current drama, and (3) the final long-planned demolition of the Masjid Al Aqsa (an unfortunate unavoidable environmental disaster?) and necessary evacuation of unwanted East Jerusalem natives to build the Third Temple. “And what rough beast, its hour come round at last, Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?”

Now if an alien could gently float a harmless balloon down from space and cause a big havoc in the USA, then I would be impressed by aliens.
Deep inside,
the system has to believe its own lies,

I estimate that it costs the Russian state at least $20,000 to kill or disable a single Ukrainian soldier.
I believe that if every Ukrainian soldier who defects were offered $10,000, there would be a mass defection. Saving Russian and Ukrainian lives. Those lucky Ukrainian prisoners would eventually go home with some capital and be able to rebuild their lives. They would do a lot to disabuse the Ukrainian population of the propaganda they have been subjected to since 1991.
It seems like a win-win-win to me. What is so difficult to understand?
Why is there so little imagination in the Russian political class?
B/c for that same 20 grand they dont have to kill anyone and can get the same killer to buy the weapon he was to use and instead make the 20 grand, sounds like a crazy racket but worse story’s are circulating.
Generally it is prohibited to shoot either wildly or deliberately, and for sound reasons long established in Law and Custom. It is prohibited to shoot at unknowable “targets”, such as a house that may be occupied. It is prohibited to shoot the neighbors’ cows when they graze through a broken fence, or no fence, upon one’s own pasture. Prohibited to shoot at shadows in the dark. Once a weapon is fired, the end result is not controllable.
Withal> The Principle is to know the target. The Principle is to be cautious with weapons.
Now then, it’s said that the Intrepid Brave Airmen have been shooting at unknown targets. While this happens, doing this as Policy has lead to our Chinese Brothers considering also shooting at “objects”, which goes to support the wisdom underlying the Custom.

Balloons carrying explosive packages.
Didn’t we meet over this balloon?
I posted about this Hawaiian balloon last year so probably true about explosives.
Balloon over Hawaii 2 explosions heard yet responding aircraft did not destroy the balloon.

Kauai County Councilwoman Felicia Cowen told the Honolulu Star-Advertiser that she heard two booms, both loud enough to shake her house. “I would like to understand what were the powerful explosion sounds that were strong enough to shake my house in Kilauea, Kauai, and what looked like smoke in the sky. Was any object hit and did it explode? If so, what was it, and why?” However, an Air Force spokesperson told the paper on Thursday, February 17, that the “responding aircraft did not destroy the balloon.” The spokesperson continued that the service is “actively monitoring it via joint capabilities and it is under evaluation,” adding that “we don’t have anything else to provide at this time.”

Pentagon, State Department and NSC all keen to downplay China’s overflights as specter of a ‘deep state’ deal rises

Washington is in a state of confusion about balloons and other unidentified flying objects, four of which have already been shot down. What is their purpose? Will there be more to deal with? Where are they all coming from and at who’s command?
The general consensus around Washington, voiced by Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer, is that all of the “objects” are balloons, even though the White House denounced Schumer for saying so.
Likewise, there is a general understanding that all of these “objects” were different types of Chinese balloons.
The latest shootdown, as of February 12, was a balloon hexagonal in shape that was shot down over Lake Huron. This balloon is known to have traversed Montana, like earlier ones, operating over US strategic missile emplacements at Malmstrom Air Force Base.
That is one of three sites on US territory where Minuteman III MIRV missiles are emplaced in underground silos. The other two are at Minot, North Dakota and Francis E Warren Air Force Base in Wyoming.
It would appear from the White House complaint to Schumer that there is keen interest at the level of the National Security Council, the State Department and Pentagon to try and downplay China’s balloon operations.
It is, for example, more than abundantly clear that these intrusions have been ongoing for at least a few years and have been systematically covered up. The only reasonable explanation for what amounts to a cover-up is to not end up in a confrontation with China.
The main question, however, is why is China so intent on surveilling US strategic bases and missile defenses?

The answer could be that China is either preparing a first-strike capability against the US homeland or is preparing to checkmate the US if it threatens to intervene in Chinese affairs, or both.
China now has a bigger ICBM capability than the US and most of them are solid-state rockets that can be launched quickly on demand.
Unlike US reliance on missile silos and nuclear submarines, neither of which is a first strike system, the Chinese deployment combines fixed hardened launch sites with ICBMs that can move about on rail lines or roadways, making them hard to find and destroy.
Historically, the US has relied on the mutually assured destruction paradigm for security against nuclear attack. Known as the MAD doctrine, it worked reasonably well during the Cold War period, so much so that both the US and Russia (USSR) agreed to limitations on missile numbers and ballistic missile defenses.
Unlike Russia and the US, however, China never participated in missile limitations and has recently been rapidly growing its tactical and strategic nuclear missile capabilities.
The latest balloon over Lake Huron that was shot down probably is only the balloon component. Pilots tasked with destroying the balloon saw “strings” or wires hanging from the octagonal object, suggesting that the payload had already been detached and perhaps destroyed.
The first large balloon that flew across the United States and was shot down over Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, appears to have had an explosives package designed to destroy the payload before it could be recovered.
In video of that balloon takedown, a secondary explosion can clearly be heard well after the AIM-9X disintegrated the balloon. The latest Lake Huron balloon may be a repeat performance. There is no public information on the other two shot down, one off Alaska’s northern coast and the other over Canadian airspace.
Until some of the instrumentation is recovered, US authorities won’t know about the balloons’ capabilities. It is even less likely that the public will get the straight story. To date, the US record is to hide the facts and admit far less than is already known.

Meanwhile, there are serious questions about China’s intent. Why would China dispatch a bunch of surveillance balloons over sensitive US sites at a time when China is experiencing serious internal problems and President Xi Jinping’s leadership is under a cloud?
Is the Chinese military operating with Xi’s (and the Politburo’s) explicit approval, or is the balloon escapade a military-led challenge to the current government? Or is it possibly the case that these overflights had become routine as the US knew about them but never protested?
No one can yet answer the question other than to observe that not flagging the overflights and pushing back on China was a tremendously dangerous US policy misstep. More ominously, there is the additional possibility that top US officials were never told about them, raising the specter of an unaccountable “deep state” operation.
It would be ironic if Xi and/or Biden – apparently like Trump before him – were all kept in the dark before the secret was discovered and revealed.
There is a broad consensus in the US that China’s overflights of US territories and US bases abroad (such as Guam) must stop, either by consent or through force.
Despite efforts to continue to cover up and withhold identifying the source of the overflights, any US president as commander-in-chief will have to take forceful action.
But even as this is written, the Biden administration has not made any discernible or significant protest to China. Pressure will grow for that to change, and very soon.
China should be on notice that any free pass it had previously to intrude over US territory is now gone and that if it continues with the overflights they could lead to real and open conflict.

Interesting Mr Lodestar. I am skeptical as to specific claims, but our inscrutable Asiatic brothers have their own ways of seeing and doing, eh?

The auto-destruct routine does seem logical…everybody does that with scientific projects, eh?
One time longtimeago the old whore and madam who deals cards down a Kate’s Place told me a story she heard from one of her old johns. Seems that the gas evolved in electrolysis of water – the gas mixture – is not only explosive, but also lighter than air…do the chemistry…anyway this john used to electrolyze water and catch the evolved gas mix in a condom. The engorged condom would swell to enormousness. He’d tie a section of cannon fuze to a knot at the opening end, and fit the far end of said fuze into a lit cigarette. And then release this infernal device to the heavens. She said that he said that the explosions attracted the cops. “John” said, she said, he preferred to “launch” his toys on foggy days. The helios had great mystery. Bigbig bang, but nothing to find… Very funny.
Seriously, Don’t attempt to repeat the gag…it’s super dangerous to the gagster. Also seriously I have major doubt about balloon stories. But I shall examine Comrade Bryen’s stories.
I must see to the auto-destruct package in my bike. Numberplate “CRM114-OPE”

I don’t think any of the criminal Western regimes have ever studied Russian/Soviet history. Had they done so they would be very worried. The one reason many of them are still alive right now is that Putin is President of Russia. And he won’t turn the intelligence services loose to inflict needed punishments on them. But he won’t be there forever. And I’m thinking that the Russians have prepared lists of those responsible for this war,and the terrorism inflicted on Russians. And once Putin is gone, the gloves come off. Considering the things happening now,the North Stream bombing, the murders of Russian prisoners, the Western weapons shipments, the chemical weapons being used on Russian soldiers, and the NATO forces supplying the targeting directions for Ukrainian forces.Putin himself might just decide to do what is needed and not wait for later. I’d recommend the book “Special Tasks” which details a few of the operations the Soviets conducted during the 1920’s-1950’s to counter and punish their enemies in the West. Which with all the advances made over the years since then. They will be even more effective today. One other little known fact that should send chills up Western spines is that a great many of the most effective and deadly of the Soviet intelligence operatives came from what is today considered Ukraine. The Russian areas of Ukraine to be specific. People in those areas today have more than enough reason to want to punish “harshly” the West for what they’ve done to them personally. So recruits won’t be hard to come by I’d imagine. It’s a shame that this blog won’t be around to report on all this when it starts.
yes Bigbigcrime have long tail. Ruskie never said that these crimes would pass, rather said that they would be investigated and prosecuted.
I see tht saker blog improves in scope, enen as end looms. I shall myself miss the passing of great attempt. Worthy in History!.

There is a peak for everything, and most of them have already past by.
Perhaps we have reached peak overall quality blog site, I’m not saying we have, but just in case we have, at least we know we have.
I’ve looked all around and found every individual part, but not overall quality remaining pubically active on a daily basis, plus the ranks are thinning as the youth have gone off on some temporary different dimension that doesn’t involve intelligent discussion but mimics common speedy daily activity.
