In earlier posts you encouraged people to earn as little as possible (to avoid taxes), and to take on as many welfare programs as possible to be a drain on taxes, both of which will push governments closer to financial instability. While I do neither of those, I realized that I’m a huge drain on the system unintentionally.
– I work for the government as a well-paid engineer. I don’t work harder than I need to, plus I get to travel to a handful of pretty nice places on their dime. So basically my income is a huge drain on the economy because of my salary level. Whatever I pay in taxes is in reality just a discount of my expense.
– Each time I travel, I get cut a check for food and incidentals, above what I would realistically spend.
– I pay minimum taxes. I don’t buy much of anything (sales tax); I don’t rent or own a home since I live with my parents (municipality taxes).
– I don’t put into my retirement plan. There’s a whole boat load of money I normally wouldn’t be able to touch for decades that they can’t pilfer at will.
– I use most of my disposable income to travel internationally. So I basically suck up resources from the US, and spend them on goods and services in other nations.
Given my salary level, I’m probably a larger drain on the system than most welfare recipients.

The main hint why you´re wrong is “I work for the government”.
Yeah, you´re not working harder than necessary(which government worker does?).
Your travels may end up costing more than your salary. Though Oil price is ridiculously out of proportion and in fact another intentional wealth drain on us all, as “Peak Oil” is just as phony as Man-made Climate Change(aka. Breathing Tax).
But you´re actually one of the main enforcers of the ruling world wide Cleptocracy, as your on-site engineering skills are 100x as VITAL for the current resource stealing/money laundering government scheme than what 1000 office-seat queefers at home are capable of doing.
Just the same for all the other goubinmint employed scientists and programmers.
Without their vital input not a single surveillance satellite/drone/spy server/data-mining software would work or would have been conceived.
In your case just removing that vital skill-set from government control would be much more efficient than just being a drain.
Get a damn cabin in the woods, make it self sufficient and get out of that shitty oh so well-paid job.

I don’t really feel that vital, to be honest. It’s a pretty comfortable deal. I have considered calling it quits, though.
I have a gf in the Philippines who wants me to move to her country and live with her. I’ve considered it, mainly because of my status there as a young white guy in a country that has a fetish for young white guys. That’s really the only reason I managed to land a financially self sufficient head nurse/part time model (something I could NEVER do as an average guy here in terms of confidence/looks). Now I’m not trying to kid myself, I don’t look at her as NAWALT, and I treat her/view her under the assumption that she’s already/will cheated and that she views me as social status/meal ticket, etc. I’m trying to rationally gauge her value against my potential options in any future LTR. At least in that country, there is no divorce, family courts are weaker, men have more power, etc.
The other thing is that many in the Philippines have been eeking out a living on very little for some time. They never throw something that could be fixed out, and they very rarely use appliances. They probably have one of the lowest kWh/pp in the world. When the big financial reset comes, the impact could be low there relative to the west. The major problem is that the employment/property laws make it very difficult to make a living there. I would essentially need to start some kind of internet business that’s based in my home country.

“The cogs” never feel vital, but have enough of them missing or just a crucial one, and the machine grinds to a halt.
Philippines? There ya go, sounds like an adventure.
And if it fails you had some free young LBFM(little-brown-fuck-machine) pussy, something western guys usually pay good money to get on a vacation or in some sleazy brothel.

Just be smart and keep the fucking ring of that finger.
The true reason why whitey is so popular down there.
