I just endured the “rebooted” supermangina, man of pointdexter, movee…

What fucking crap, superjerk did more collateral damage than the evil guy with the nerdy beard, and again, like star wars with spacecraft performing aerobatic maneouvers in a hard vacuum, little shit like the laws of physics are simply ignored, same as that asgard pap and everything else, it may as well be fucking disney and mickey and snow white, because none of it is fit for consumption by anyone except wimminz and niggerz.

e.g. those able to habitually suspend belief in the laws of physics etc.. a.k.a. reality.

Now, the original Star Trek couldn’t afford the scenery and props to make shuttles, which were what the script called for, so the transporter and “Beam me up Scotty” was born.

We don’t *know* that the laws of physics make a transporter impossible, so we are left with the not so philosophical question as to whether the transported person was the original, or a copy.

We do however *know* for a fucking fact that no matter how strong I am, even if I have the strength to pick up a truck that weighs 100x what I do and attempt to throw it, I will move 100x as far as the truck, nor can I hold a skinny 50 kg girl at arms length without toppling over, and not looking so super.

I’m old enough to see the trend, as we learn more and more science, we pay less and less heed of it in our entertainment, it’s scary when 1950’s buck rogers with obvious models with obvious wires holding them up is closer to scientific fact than 21st century CGI, when they could literally do anything.

Fuck, fire up any 1st person shooter and even in god mode it is more realistic than anything to come out of hollywood.

And so I will watch something new, with an open mind, and it is exactly like meeting a new wimminz that some smurf blue pill jerk has absolutely promised me is a NAWALT, and before the first 10 minutes have run sure enough, something comes along to utterly destroy any suspension of disbelief that I was nurturing, and we are smacked in the face with reality, which in this case is something completely and utterly non-credible to anyone with a functioning brain.

I have had this discussion MANY a time, and we have never come up with a single movie that could not be made while adhering to the laws of physics, and far from making them worse films, it would make them better.

Alien was a good example, as was Alien2, did it follow the laws of physics because it was a good film, or was it a good film because it followed the laws of physics…

Is superjerk a bad film because it doesn’t follow the laws of physics, or did superjerk ignore the laws of physics because it was a bad film.

Is the smurf’s alleged NAWALT wimminz an AWALT because she ignored reality, or did she ignore reality because she is AWALT?

Here is just under an hour of 1985 work, and it is better than everything hollywood has put out so far in 2013.

Max Headroom – 20 minutes into the future.

If you ain’t seen it before, watch it now, if you have, watch it again with 2013 eyes, and ask yourself, was it dated or prescient?
