Released in 1983, as what looks like a replacement for the Star Formula. The Star Bright came in fourteen and fifteen inch diameters, and four hole PCD only as the design dictated. That didn't stop Speed Star from offering huge widths.
The wheel is often referred to as the “Bright Speed” and is also sometimes confused for the SSR Professor SP2 which came more than a decade after it.
The Star Bright is ultra-rare, with a fairly limited production run. Combine that with a striking look, and up to 11.5J width and it often commands large sums of yen.
Available colours were silver and gold.
