Yes I agree about the counting – first 300 peaceful troops, now 600 troops – when will it end? The US public fast asleep as their Govt. brings in troops on the ground to a non-NATO country. Just to make sure their Junta isn’t overthrown.
Meanwhile in the Black Sea it brings naval ships and NATO drills……..
I bet Russia has more submarines than all these ships the others are bringing. They’ll be taking part in the exercises too, just the others don’t know it yet.
like your previous comment re belonging to an independant tribe…………..and possible scythian origins..movements of all these peoples, sSavs, Aluns, Bulgars, etc so intresting.
I don’t see how the arrival of foreign troops jibes with point 10 of Minsk calling for the withdrawal of all foreign troops. It goes against the spirit and specifics of the agreement, which I conclude breaks it.
Very true. But just more proof that you can’t really make agreements with the West and expect them to be honored.Hopefully one day our side will understand that fact before its too late for them.
So far all the forces the pindos have mobilised in Eastern Europe are pin prick forces, for provocative intent, with no serious fighting capability. Their role is to provoke Russia, not fight her. The Israeli-American hot focus appears to be on Syria right now, their current Ukrainian moves are probably the usual prestidigitation, since there is little the orc quislings could do right now besides lose more equipment and territory and alienate the growing block of the home population who are discovering they are still human despite the zionazi mind meld they’ve been subjected to.
Anyone with any experience in Hollywood knows that a Russian news video should have a narrator with a Russian accent even if the narrator isn’t Russian. Imagine how much of a flop it would have been if Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale had been voiced-over by people with vaguely Australian accents.
“Our worst enemy are the a**holes in Kiev who sent us here to die”–UAF soldiers disciplined for criticizing Poroshenko
Ukrainian soldiers who cursed Poroshenko out from their trench were deprived of pay
UAF soldiers who in their trenched filmed a video for Poroshenko containing very strong criticism were heard in Kiev. Kiev did not like the video. Rather than satisfy the soldiers’ wishes, they were deprived of their pay. That’s probably just the beginning.
The soldier who filmed the video, Andrey Grachev, wrote about it on his Facebook page.
“I want to ask forgiveness from my children and my beloved wife. I filmed and posted the video thanks to which I am now fighting without pay. Other guys on the video also. I don’t understand, maybe we are really in the wrong. So now we have to fight for Ukraine, for the President, for free. Guys, don’t tell the truth. Sit tight and keep it to yourselves. Otherwise you’ll lose a months pay, like we did,” Grachev wrote.
Grachev filmed and posted a video in which he and other soldiers asked Poroshenko a number of inconvenient questions.
“President of Ukraine, Poroshenko, Commander in Chief! You are being addressed by UAF soldiers. We are not National Guard or a Volunteer battalion, we are the UAF,” is how the video starts.
“Please tell us, Mr. President, and let me remind you who I am, perhaps you even remember me? I was 16 years old, and I won a judo competition, you gave me a kimono in which I won many competitions. I still have that kimono. Do you see where we are right now, rather than where we ought to be in order to defend the sporting glory of our country, or to raise our children and be home with our friends and loved ones?”
“The country is a mess. You can’t establish order, but wasn’t that your slogan when you were elected? Do you remember your words on the Maidan: ‘1000 hryvnya per day for soldiers who are in combat. You promised on May 25th that starting with May 26th everything in the country will be fine! Except that everything is getting worse and worse in our country.”
“What ATO? Listen to what’s happening here! It’s war. If you can’t see that, get off your ass, and come here with your wife and children to see what is happening. How guys are dying for you, so that you could live in chocolate. We have a sense that soon the only way we’ll be able to feed our families is by using our weapons. Because we’ll go home and have to fight for food. Because our damned salary is $150. Mr. President, this is f*cked,” say the soldiers.
Moreover, they say that highly praised new Ukrainian equipment does not reach the front line. “You are strengthening your National Guard, giving it new rifles, armored jeeps, Bulat tanks are 50km from the front line. You think you can hide behind them? How come we haven’t seen even a single Kuguar to evacuate the wounded? Where’s food?”
The soldiers also said what kind of weapons they have to use: rifles from 1980s, machine guns from 1954 which frequently malfunction.
At the end of the video, the soldiers ask their fellow servicemembers to march on Kiev. “Think about it, guys. We’ll probably soon have to march on Kiev and stop sitting here. Because our worst enemy are the a$$holes in Kiev who sent us here to die.”
As expected for being to weak,Putin is finished he must go: part 1
Ukraine is a de facto NATO country, with arms and boots on the ground, nobody fears Russia anymore.Very sad,but lack of intervention after Odessa showed the just that he is too weak, they will not stop now.
Russia’s Weakness is the West’s Gain
There was a time, back when, that the Soviet Union was feared and respected. That fear and respect created and maintained what we refer to as the Cold War. It divided the world in a sense, but it also provided a peculiar sense of stability. Each side was aware of where the lines not to cross were located, and neither side dared make a serious attempt to undermine them. There was no question of a strong, forceful Soviet response. Therein lies the problem for modern day Russia.
To be frank, Russia’s handling of the Ukraine crisis on its own border displays the sort of weakness one would normally associate with the bluster of North Korea. Strong words but no action to back it up. Russian special forces quickly moved into Crimea before the West could stop them. But that was pretty much it. The Crimean assault was really a “sneaky” move rather than a forceful move of principle. There was no grand declaration of principle by the Russian government, other than it would defend the rights of Russian speaking people’s – which it quickly abandoned in Donetsk and Luhansk republics prolonging the war there and massively increasing civilian and military casualties. Russian support for the separatist forces in East Ukraine was again of the “sneaky” variety. Weapons, ammunition, advisers, and some special forces. A grey war if you will.
Shut up you post the same shut all the time. Jay jay.
All this show from America is for obama at home, what does it prove at the end of the day. On the ground the UAF is still crap and ukraine is broke.
All this parade means nothing
Well, I myself would love to be able to figure out exactly what’s going on. I sometimes feel like we are taken for a ride by both sides: U.S. and Russia that is.
There are developments that I find puzzling.
Why did trade between Russia and the U.S. increase in 2014?
Why did Putin strike those deals with Visa and Mastercard? I thought the idea was to become independent of such institutions.
Why did Exxon Mobile’s assets in Russia grew by 450% in the last 12 months?
Why did Putin agree to broker those “ceasefires” each time Novorossia was about to inflict painful losses on Kiev’s military?
Why hasn’t Russia impose any countersanctions on the U.S.? The only sanctions were against the E.U. and even that was very small compared to what the west has imposed on Russia.
Why can’t Russia do something as SIMPLE and painless as banning American movies in Russia (Hollywood being one of the U.S.’s top exports).
Etc.
Etc.
Again, are we being taken for a ride? with all those elites, from all over the world, playing us?
You and me both. I’ve been working on a comment to that effect for three days and it just keeps getting more complicated. It’s depressing. Throughout history, the masses were incited to fight for religion, ideology, xenophobia, etc., when really it was just about one group of rich psychopaths battling another group of rich psychopaths for who gets more stuff.
I share the same concern, though I tend to suspect Saker’s analysis is right.
Just thought I would post parts of the (truly great) Eugene Deb’s famous Canton, Ohio Speech (June 16, 1918) on the same topic:
“Well, for myself, I never had much faith in leaders. I am willing to be charged with almost anything, rather than to be charged with being a leader. I am suspicious of leaders, and especially of the intellectual variety. Give me the rank and file every day in the week. If you go to the city of Washington, and you examine the pages of the Congressional Directory, you will find that almost all of those corporation lawyers and cowardly politicians, members of Congress, and misrepresentatives of the masses—you will find that almost all of them claim, in glowing terms, that they have risen from the ranks to places of eminence and distinction. I am very glad I cannot make that claim for myself. I would be ashamed to admit that I had risen from the ranks. When I rise it will be with the ranks, and not from the ranks….
Wars throughout history have been waged for conquest and plunder. In the Middle Ages when the feudal lords who inhabited the castles whose towers may still be seen along the Rhine concluded to enlarge their domains, to increase their power, their prestige and their wealth they declared war upon one another. But they themselves did not go to war any more than the modern feudal lords, the barons of Wall Street go to war.
The feudal barons of the Middle Ages, the economic predecessors of the capitalists of our day, declared all wars. And their miserable serfs fought all the battles. The poor, ignorant serfs had been taught to revere their masters; to believe that when their masters declared war upon one another, it was their patriotic duty to fall upon one another and to cut one another’s throats for the profit and glory of the lords and barons who held them in contempt. And that is war in a nutshell. The master class has always declared the wars; the subject class has always fought the battles. The master class has had all to gain and nothing to lose, while the subject class has had nothing to gain and all to lose–especially their lives.
They have always taught and trained you to believe it to be your patriotic duty to go to war and to have yourselves slaughtered at their command. But in all the history of the world you, the people, have never had a voice in declaring war, and strange as it certainly appears, no war by any nation in any age has ever been declared by the people.
And here let me emphasize the fact–and it cannot be repeated too often–that the working class who fight all the battles, the working class who make the supreme sacrifices, the working class who freely shed their blood and furnish the corpses, have never yet had a voice in either declaring war or making peace. It is the ruling class that invariably does both. They alone declare war and they alone make peace. Yours not to reason why; Yours but to do and die. That is their motto and we object on the part of the awakening workers of this nation. If war is right let it be declared by the people. You who have your lives to lose, you certainly above all others have the right to decide the momentous issue of war or peace….
You need at this time especially to know that you are fit for something better than slavery and cannon fodder. You need to know that you were not created to work and produce and impoverish yourself to enrich an idle exploiter. You need to know that you have a mind to improve, a soul to develop, and a manhood to sustain….
They are continually talking about your patriotic duty. It is not their but your patriotic duty that they are concerned about. There is a decided difference. Their patriotic duty never takes them to the firing line or chucks them into the trenches. And now among other things they are urging you to “cultivate” war gardens, while at the same time a government war report just issued shows that practically 52 percent of the arable, tillable soil is held out of use by the landlords, speculators and profiteers. They themselves do not cultivate the soil. Nor do they allow others to cultivate it. They keep it idle to enrich themselves, to pocket the millions of dollars of unearned increment….
And now for all of us to do our duty! The clarion call is ringing in our ears and we cannot falter without being convicted of treason to ourselves and to our great cause.
Do not worry over the charge of treason to your masters, but be concerned about the treason that involves yourselves. Be true to yourself and you cannot be a traitor to any good cause on earth.”
The main problem is that the west has been running this planet for the last 400 years. Everything is set and geared up to serve western [and now mostly US/Apartheid State in cahoots with the poodles] interests.
The almighty $$ has its hazardous hooks into almost everything you can think of. That’s why a man can say, “I don’t give a f*** who runs the country. Let me control the money an I’ll run it for you.”
Putin has to play 6-dimensional chess and only is allowed to use reflections of that in a mirror. I’m not privy to anything you don’t know, but if the swift annexation of Crimea is anything to go by, Putin knows what he’s doing.
I do concur with your notion that Russia’s pussyfooting [Iran’s nuclear power plant, S300 air defense systems, etc] can be gut wrenching, but it’s a very difficult world to maneuver in on a world leaders’ level.
dear moderator…these putin bashers aren’t usually let through…these comments above all seem to know each other and I don’t know any of them…please don’t let them through…they’re trolls
There you go. You sound like a broken record. Why don’t you contribute to the discussion instead of making unfounded accusations.
We are supposed to be blind to the FACTS listed above? Some of us do not worship politicians you know.
You sound like a New York Times reader accusing us of being trolls on Putin’s payroll
Now that’s hillarious… when I bash western leaders in the mainstream media I get called a Putin troll and when I don’t worship Putin on Saker I get call a CIA, Washington troll.
Kind of pathetic!
We are not supposed to analyze, and question, FACTS?
The latest question I have is, why the hell would Moscow invite NATO members to a security meeting?
The US has laid a trap for Russia to invade Ukraine and Russia is not taking the bait. Russia knows the US agenda and is working to lay the foundations for a coalescing East that will become sufficiently strong to draw a line that the US will dare not cross. Until that time comes many will misunderstand Putin’s actions as weakness.
By pushing for Russia to take overt action in Ukraine many are falling into the US trap.
The 173rd Parachute Regiment is a combat unit (not a training unit). It is one of the U.S. Quick Reaction forces and is based in Italy. They are considered an “elite” light infantry force. But they have nowhere near the combat experience that the 76th Pskov Storm Troops Division has. And, without air superiority and dominating artillery they will die just like the UAF.
The U.S. will never achieve air superiority in Ukraine and U.S. commanders are fully aware of that fact. The Black Sea is a pond where the NATO fleet will be defeated in detail if the West decides to make war with Russia. Notice that they won’t put an aircraft carrier in there. One sub on the East end of the Bosporus Straits and an entire carrier group would be bottled up and starved into submission.
My personal belief is that professional Russian troops are much tougher than their American counter-parts. The Russian 76th has been “blooded” in several different campaigns and they know how to fight.
part two:The problem with a grey war is that each side is left with the ability to interpret it as it will. In other words, Ukraine can scream Russia is invading it, while Russia can respond that it has no troops there. There is no serious projection of power, and serious statement made to the other side. They are playing “footsies” with each other. The message is that of weakness. Russia is being dictated to by the West and simply responding defensively. It does not project the image of an equal. It actually reinforces Obama’s arrogant comment that Russia is a “regional power”. Now, Russia is not a regional power, to be clear. Iran is a regional power, as is Saudi Arabia. Russia is a world power. But, Russia’s weak response to Western infiltration of the buffer zone known as Ukraine tends to back Obama’s message.
Another well publicized event took place in Estonia where us mechanized troops paraded within 300 meters of the Russian border. Ditto for similar flippant moves by Lithuania and even Finland. Now, despite prohibitions against foreign troops in accordance with the Minsk Accord, the United States is sending a full airborne battalion to Ukraine to “train” Ukraine forces. Britain is sending 75 troops for a similar mission. The response from Russia is…nothing.
If Russia wants the role of super power in the world, or even at the very least top dog in its own neighborhood, it needs to seriously project strength. That means incorporating a “doctrine” which will be defended at any time and any place. The doctrine must be in strict defence of its sphere of influence – otherwise, it doesn’t have one. Without a sphere of influence its not even a regional power, but rather a state power. Hard to imagine for a country with the history and tradition of Russia. The truth is, the world really needs Russia to be that strong player in the world. The world desperately needs balance. The US has proven that as the sole power projecting strength in the world, it has failed to recognize the need to restrain its own ambitions. In other words, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Now, we live in a world that has no stability, because the rules have been thrown out the proverbial window. That is a failure by the US, but its also a failure of countries like Russia and China.
All of this is why I support the rise of a Eurasian bloc that includes countries like Russia, China, India, Brazil, South Africa and the like. It creates the counter balance so desperately needed in the world. Of course the Americans view this in the opposite light. So be it. All people in the world deserve a stable environment, not just Americans. In short, it’s past time that Russia project serious strength. Allowing other nations to encroach on its borders is a sign of weakness, not strategy. It’s being interpreted that way by its enemies as well. All of which creates a less stable world for the rest of us – including Russia.
posted the other day, russ is entitled to have a strategy that is undoubtedly aware ofother peoples follies/designs , but then sucker in the suckers, then eventually they can be confronted or put in a position of humiliating no escape. But yes, yearnings for peace and balance are desparately required.
Also , maybe it is just the west does not want to listen to quiet messages coming from russ, only like a spoilt child it continually bawls, screams, throws stones, but could get a bucket of water over its head.

In the evening, 03.04.2015, rights activists broke into Odessa Sector casino on the corner of Catherine and Deribasovskoy to “stripping” (what is meant by this “cleansing” is unclear – probably banal protection racket), but were rebuffed.
Unknown together with the protection entered with them into battle, reported a fight with the shooting and the use of gas.
The narrator commentators speed of narration on these South front videos has slowed down and his pronunciation become more clear for us to digest the presented info. Would caption subtitles of the news which he presents be a good idea also?
Anyways a great improvement and many thanks and compliments to the narrator.
Friendly greetings from The Netherlands
This just has to be seen :). Right Sector try to mess with local Odessa mobsters and get their asses kicked. I actually got some pleasure watching this.
On a serious note. This happening confirms that Nazis just cant do whatever they want, at least in some parts of Ukraine. The way they were called “pederast” with contempt pretty much confirms that May 2th is not forgotten. It could be that they are not procecuted by police and left alone. But the people of Odessa (in this case mobsters in a Casino) do not tolerate them.
Unless we get total victory this year (or early next) with the junta’s fall and Ukraine liberated.I think the time we must really worry for a real WW3 is 2017-18.Russia and China must prepare for it quickly. The US Presidential elections will be at the end of 2016.And there is certain to be an avalanche of Russophobic propaganda throughout 2016 trying to position the two candidates,as to which is “more” anti-Russian for their voters. The Republican candidate will be a Russophobe without a doubt. And if they win will be called on to keep their campaign promises and “do something to stop the Commie Russkie’s”. The Democratic candidate is already a prime Russophobe (Hillary Clinton) and Israeli stooge. That will mean from late January 2017,they will work on destroying Russia and probably China. It will take months to prepare the ground. So I figure the most dangerous period will be the middle of 2017 until the beginning of 2018.They may put off action if they think that Putin will be out of office in 2018 and they can get a 5th columnist in his chair in Russia. So look to see vast sums being spent to subvert Russia (Ukraine MO) over the next 2 years. But since we all doubt a 5th column electoral victory.I see war as their answer instead.Russia (and China),barring a preemptive NATO attack has from today until possibly 2018 to wrap up the Banderastan junta. And make of the area a buffer state.Or even a pro-Russian ally. And become strong enough militarily to convince the West that they truly would die themselves if they attacked Russia. To convince the European and US public that Nuclear Bombs would truly be able to fall on them personally. If those things can be accomplished,we may not see war,if not,its probably a certainty.
The “Chosen People” leader’s plan: To instigate a war between their enemies so they may be the last ones standing. “Mow the grass” by culling the world’s population by half. Support facist zionism or this will be the “Price Tag”
A big fish in a small pond versus a small fish in a big pond.
Is it sane to believe a nuclear war could end in victory ? Say a war between Russia and the U$A with the victors being Israelis, finally able to control their own desiny. And everyone elses.
Wow. I didnt expect to read a commentary like this in any western MSM. Especially not from a staff journalist.
“The demonisation of Russia risks paving the way for war
Seumas Milne”
Sadly though,he is almost the only writer in the Guardian that dares make that stand. And I suspect they let him post an occasional truthful article just to “prove” that they have free speech. Most all their articles are some of the most Russophobic in the MSM.And behind the scenes their other actions are more revealing. They ban the most zealous of the pro-Russian comments and posters. And have allowed what once was a great source of comment information to become just another neo-con Russia-hate space.Almost on a par with the comment pages of the US MSM sites.Full of the same type of Russophobe posters as you see on the worst of those.

Russian Gen. Maj. Igor Konashenkov called US Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges’ claim that Russia has 12,000 troops in Ukraine “a failed attempt to impress the women of the US State Department.”
Russian Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov has joined Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov in mocking US Army Europe Commander Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges for his claim of 12,000 Russian troops being stationed in Eastern Ukraine, and suggested an ironic motive.
“The strength of 12,000 troops which he suggested is a serious army group with thousands of units of military equipment, you can’t just cover that up with some snow on a tiny patch of ‘isolated districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.'”
Hodges’ claim was a failed attempt to impress the women of the US State Department, Konashenkov believes.
“For the spokeswomen of the State Department, distant from military realities, it’s easy to later cite such ‘authoritative’ estimates: size matters a lot to them.”
On Tuesday, during a speech in Berlin, Lt. Gen Ben Hodges announced that he fears Putin will destroy NATO by splitting it from the inside, and that Russia has inserted 12,000 troops into the Donbas region, the biggest claim made by a US official yet.
According to RIAN, Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov had also said: “”I know about the statements by Victoria Nuland and the general about those thousands of Russian servicemen allegedly in Ukraine. But why 12,000. Why are they thinking small? Why didn’t they say 20,000, why didn’t they say 25,000?”
I think Konashenkov is actually being rather kind to Hodges, saying he was trying to impress [cough] women. ;D
What can we expect now from the West? After Moscow false flag and failled maidan 2.0,they will try another false flag more likely this time back in Ukraine? They must find a new casus belli to re start the war. With the US boys arriving in the Western part of Ukraine, they may even try a false flag against them, blaming of course Putin.
Ukraine will find the money with blacks ops funds if necessary,it is now a too precious asset for Washington.Don’t expect anything from the EU.Lot of people in RF including experts and politicians still believe the EU has some kind of diplomacy. It is a pure joke. The EU has been created by the US and is 100 pct controlled by the US,even the Merkhollande trip to Moscow was a show authorised by Washington.Like the Bibi one against Obama, pure Hollywood.
The conclusions about the MH17 are now delayed till oct 25th.Why?Any action forseen on the ground before?
Forget about the sanction lifted,it will never happen untill Putin stays in power even from the EU(see above EUUSA).
They need the EU to vote for the TAFTA,for this to happen the cold war must be in full action,as RF must be seen as a threat by EU populace.
It is not about Ukraine, not even about NATO,not about Putin or RF or China, but about saving the US from financial collapse with their derivatives ponzi. The Euro is a firewall(see today 1.09 versus USD lowest for 12 years).Greece will default,it will be a much bigger one than a Ukrainian one, more than 350 billions involved.
EU politicians who sold the various ‘greek bailout'(it was to save french and german banks from bankruptcy) as free money,no cost,no danger for their people will soon need a big diversion, and of course it will be Putin fault as usual.European QE will start next week. Why do you think they gave only 4 months to Greece?
I checked and it’s correct that the eu will start their 60B Euro/mo sometime this month, maybe next week, so that would explain the recent euro “weakness”, resembling a cliff-dive!
never accuse banksters of failing to take advantage of every situation with their insider info by not frontrunning it.
so i expect we will see a “shocking” rise from the dead by the euro any day here, in complete contradiction to the hysteria & nonstop dollar cheerleading going on these past few months.
in fact, their greed could lead to the very financial accident they warn about, if it rises back too fast from so far offside.
Iraqi lawmaker Qasim Al-Araji told the Iraqi parliament that his group, the Badr Organization, is in possession of documented proof that the United States government is providing the self-proclaimed Islamic State with weapons and military aid.
According to Almasalah news, the head of the Badr Parliamentary bloc shared this information with parliament on Thursday, claiming that the group is in possession of evidence pointing to US military provisions to Islamic State and further stating that they will be able to share the documented evidence at a later time.
Al-Araji’s claims of US military support to Islamic State are not the first of their kind, nor are they the first coming from this particular group. In January, Hadi Al-Ameri, the Secretary General of Badr, reported to Press TV that a US aircraft had air dropped weapons in the Islamic State-controlled Salahuddin Province in Iraq.
According to Press TV, a study conducted by a London-based group has also found that Islamic State militants had been using “significant quantities” of arms marked “property of the US government.”
The weapons were believed to have been transferred to the Islamic State from other rebel groups in Syria, sometimes dubbed as “moderate” by the US government. US Senator Rand Paul had also previously remarked on the possibility of weapons transfer to Islamic State terrorists, stating that “one of the reasons why ISIS has been emboldened is because we have been arming their allies.”
As Badr has not yet revealed the documents, it is unclear whether the new evidence would reveal similar instances of US inadvertent support of Islamic State.
Meanwhile, as if realising that their American puppet’s role in running the IS terrorism cant remain hidden much longer, the Israelis ordered their pet Klu Klucks Kerry to again threaten Syria with overt war with their American bootlicks. My guess is the USA will be used soon to attack Syria directly, since the IS op is getting exposed and they running out of time.
“Military pressure particularly may be necessary, given President Assad’s unwillingness to negotiate seriously,” Kerry said on Thursday.
Kerry explained that a combination of pressure and diplomacy will be needed to bring about a political transition in Syria.
Syria is definitely in the zionazi gunsights, but 2015 will probably see the zionazis going on the offensive all over, mostly using their American suck-ups. They don’t have much time left, so they’ll be going all out with their disgusting crap.
Please note Richard Silverstein’s column re the arrest of Druze IDF soldiers who exposed secret meetings between Israeli intelligence agents and Syrian “moderates” — there has been a masssive effort to dad the press re this story.
To attack Assad meansa ground war to attack the syrian people, Syrian army plus Hezbollah and iran on the ground. Are the us prepared to do this?
They have been using there proxy/moderate rebels/isis to do this that has not worked.
I disagree. Being someone who often make blunders more than anyone else, especially using auto correct which adds and corrects words to something else entirely than what I typed, I still think it is a bad idea since it would have to go through moderation again. And some people will correct the same message 10 times and it would have to go through 10 times. Other wise the first message would be innocent enough and then corrected to publish some vile trite to get past moderation.
Can it be worth it? Not sure, depends on how much extra moderation work the volunteers are willing to shoulder.. You can of course ask saker to take on the extra work requiring these kinds of corrective moderation for us :)
Q: And some people will correct the same message 10 times and it would have to go through 10 times.
R: Nope. One has 5 [4,3,2,1」 minutes after posting something to change typos and links and that’s it. It takes a bit for messages to get to moderators. I don’t ask because it doesn’t exist, I’ve seen it on at least 1 other web site and it works wonders.
I understood exactly what you meant. I have a question for you.. How do you know when your 5 minutes started? :)
I can imagine but I think the site already has a loading problem :)
I have used similar features on some sites without moderation. Maybe once they allow registration they can allow it since then moderation is not required like this.
Germany must awaken! Europe is over if Germany continues to attack Russia with sanctions. They must be stopped and all rescinded! America has absolutely no love of Europe except how she can and will use her.
beautiful Europe is in the hands of the antiChrist. Her own over soul is not be reached. The dark side of Europe arises again. Its so sad. Europe has completely failed her own time in the sun.
Europe should be the leader of all nations now. But the US has usurped her throne.
People of Europe awake !!!
But honestly, the people of the US and Australia and Canada are as much to blame as Europeans…perhaps none of us are to blame for this criminal takeover.
What must we do ? We need a great leader.
Perhaps it starts with Greece. But we certainly need more than just Greece.
Perhaps the voters will do better in the coming year. I sure hope so, because Hillary Clinton is going to be the next president. What a nightmare. She needs to be overcome politically
Ron Paul is working hard.
I’m not too sure about Rand Paul, but he would be better than Hilary or Jeb. Are he and his father close ? Does anyone know ?
I think he shares his father’s views, but will make compromises – more than his father would. He is certainly superior to all the others and will receive my vote. He is our best hope, though I have concerns for his safety.
The Pauls, as with Kucinich, Ralph Nader, Ventura, and a few other politicians who remember the Constitution, are trapped by the System. Both Pauls find it hard to get decent coverage from the owned media.
If Rand Paul ever got up a head of steam, he might have to make sure his family will be well cared for after his ‘accident.’
The American people have failed humanity. They are docile supporters of American Exceptionalism (imperialism). Is it the Flouride in the water?
We cannot fix what was completely broken on November 22, 1963. It was totalled. The Chevy was Taken to the Levee.
We must do it all over again. After 250 years, it is time to –
RENEW THE VOWS.
1. We must restore the Republic!
2. New revolutionary government.
3. New elections.

the NWO scheme was originally hatched in Europe and in England, then supported also by US elite. This is my understanding. I wonder how it came to be that the US is leading the show with Europe its victim? Considering what the EU has done to Greece and other countries with the imposition of austerity measures, massive immigration, the gradual termination of basic rights, is it possible Europe is not really the victim to the US, but a co-conspirator? Just wondering how Europe came to be so widely perceived as innocent in all this. Can someone enlighten me?
Thousands of Nato troops have been sent to the Baltic states – the Atlantic alliance’s new frontline – untroubled by their indulgence of neo-Nazi parades and denial of minority ethnic rights. A string of American political leaders and generals are calling for the US to arm Kiev, from the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, General Martin Dempsey, to the new defence secretary, Ashton Carter. For the western military complex, the Ukraine conflict has the added attraction of creating new reasons to increase arms spending, as the US army’s General Raymond Odierno made clear when he complained this week about British defence cuts in the face of the “Russian threat”.
The arming of Ukraine by the US “is a policy that is very dangerous because the United States is using Ukrainian lives as cannon gunpowder for the conflict against Russia.
Putin is biding his time. When the time comes the yankz will find out what shock and awe means. No rush to go to war .My heart hurts for everyone of my people that gets killed but the time is not right. US must make the move first so Russia can legally kick it’s ass
February 27, 2015 “ICH” – The recent 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz was a reminder of the great crime of fascism, whose Nazi iconography is embedded in our consciousness. Fascism is preserved as history, as flickering footage of goose-stepping blackshirts, their criminality terrible and clear. Yet in the same liberal societies, whose war-making elites urge us never to forget, the accelerating danger of a modern kind of fascism is suppressed; for it is their fascism. http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article41117.htm
I think that the Marines could be there to protect American people assets (you know who..) and hardware (Fracking machines, advanced military equipment..etc) Especially with the Ukrainian economy collapsing and with lots of lunatics (right sector) armed to the teeth running about… Or even regular UAF rebelling and doing a military coup? Things are getting unstable. Thus they could be needed for emergency extraction of these assets..
They are definitely playing a very dangerous desperate game in respect of potentially provoking Russia. Thank goodness that Russia has a level stable head. Maybe they know and are abusing that! :(
Russia is part of the solution not the problem! :)
Dear The Saker,
Yes I agree about the counting – first 300 peaceful troops, now 600 troops – when will it end? The US public fast asleep as their Govt. brings in troops on the ground to a non-NATO country. Just to make sure their Junta isn’t overthrown.
Meanwhile in the Black Sea it brings naval ships and NATO drills……..
Rgds,
Veritas
I bet Russia has more submarines than all these ships the others are bringing. They’ll be taking part in the exercises too, just the others don’t know it yet.
Muwahaha…..
like your previous comment re belonging to an independant tribe…………..and possible scythian origins..movements of all these peoples, sSavs, Aluns, Bulgars, etc so intresting.
great laugh Kat Kan
I don’t see how the arrival of foreign troops jibes with point 10 of Minsk calling for the withdrawal of all foreign troops. It goes against the spirit and specifics of the agreement, which I conclude breaks it.
Very true. But just more proof that you can’t really make agreements with the West and expect them to be honored.Hopefully one day our side will understand that fact before its too late for them.
This is what I have thought any word from Merkel / Hollande on this; I have not heard any news
Is the film in the video film of the actual ships in the black sea or is this old film?
Veritas
first 300 peaceful troops, now 600 troops – when will it end?
No family/fellow countrymen connections in that case. Novorussians wont need to be nice to them and can just cut them down. Simplifies things greatly.
The US public fast asleep…
Always – “dumb pindo jokes” didn’t just spring out of nowhere. I’ve heard it’s the water:
Just when you thought Smart Water had the market cornered…
Meanwhile in the Black Sea it brings naval ships and NATO drills
Free practice targets ;D
Russian Jets Penetrate NATO Ships’ Air Defenses in Black Sea
And if the those quaint little gunboats start something serious, their life expectancy will be measured in minutes.
Club Med – Russian style
So far all the forces the pindos have mobilised in Eastern Europe are pin prick forces, for provocative intent, with no serious fighting capability. Their role is to provoke Russia, not fight her. The Israeli-American hot focus appears to be on Syria right now, their current Ukrainian moves are probably the usual prestidigitation, since there is little the orc quislings could do right now besides lose more equipment and territory and alienate the growing block of the home population who are discovering they are still human despite the zionazi mind meld they’ve been subjected to.
They ought to drop the sarcasm because this “voice” doesn’t have the talent to do it.
And using a voice that isn’t “regional” is bad casting.
Has to be some Russian-speaker who is bilingual available who can do the voice over narrative.
Anyone with any experience in Hollywood knows that a Russian news video should have a narrator with a Russian accent even if the narrator isn’t Russian. Imagine how much of a flop it would have been if Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale had been voiced-over by people with vaguely Australian accents.
south front misses him too….he had to go back to work…I asked them about what happened to our favorite voice on their FB page…they replied right away…
We shouldn’t hold it against them…they’re still providing good news. I think it must be almost volunteer.

Like your new format … looks more like a standard news media source,
When will someone give that hideous nudelman witch a zelenka ?…lol
600 Para to Ukraine !!!!!!!!!!! Unprecedented!!!!!!!

Look forward to reading your comment.

@ Charette,
The main problem is that the west has been running this planet for the last 400 years.
I wonder what would happen if Russia sent 600 Pskov 76ers to New Russia to help train ????
Food for thought !
It would appear that they already have, at least in Crimea. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-02-28/officers-76th-russian-shock-troops-division-operating-ukraine
Aircraft carriers are effectively prohibited from the Black Sea by the Treaty of Montreux which controls the Dardenelles and Bosporus Straight.
part two:The problem with a grey war is that each side is left with the ability to interpret it as it will.
All of which creates a less stable world for the rest of us – including Russia.
you sure can type fast !
More sh** just go away. Look at the facts not the show
If you can’t argue the facts you have no response worth seeing.
posted the other day, russ is entitled to have a strategy that is undoubtedly aware ofother peoples follies/designs , but then sucker in the suckers, then eventually they can be confronted or put in a position of humiliating no escape. But yes, yearnings for peace and balance are desparately required.
Also , maybe it is just the west does not want to listen to quiet messages coming from russ, only like a spoilt child it continually bawls, screams, throws stones, but could get a bucket of water over its head.

Drunken Google Sailor Translation as follows

The narrator is better understandable, but has no voice for irony. So either change the style of the news or bring the old speaker back.
the original voice guy had to go back to his usual job. The news channel misses him too.
Yes Uncle Bob, I heard 2016, but even 2017 or 18 is more likely. And I saw a video where Putin said “War is coming”.
Hopefully Saker’s right. He says that the US can’t whip Russia, and hopefully more sane minds in the US will be getting stronger.
I don’t think there’s going to be war.
I think humanity will pass through this bottleneck without destroying itself.
There will be a Nuclear War.
Wow. I didnt expect to read a commentary like this in any western MSM. Especially not from a staff journalist.
“The demonisation of Russia risks paving the way for war
Seumas Milne”
http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/mar/04/demonisation-russia-risks-paving-way-for-war
And have allowed what once was a great source of comment information to become just another neo-con Russia-hate space.Almost on a par with the comment pages of the US MSM sites.Full of the same type of Russophobe posters as you see on the worst of those.
yes, and the Guardian’s main “taboo” is Israel…

“a failed attempt to impress the women of the US State Department.”
Russian General Mocks US Commander’s Size Claim, Suggests Hidden Motives
I think Konashenkov is actually being rather kind to Hodges, saying he was trying to impress [cough] women. ;D
The General could have “gone for broke” and said 120,000, like Yats did once. But then I guess he didn’t want to be considered as that crazy.
Bot Tak, in other words the general prefers men ???
Ann
Shhhh! Don’t ask – don’t tell.

Iraqi Parliamentarian Claims to Have Evidence of US Support to ISIL
‘Military Pressure’ May Be Used Against Assad Regime – Kerry

@ Vineyard Techies,
Can we have a ~ 5 minute time window [after posting something] to make changes to posts/replies and correct possible typos and or missing links?
Thank you in advance.
@ mmiriww,
Q: And some people will correct the same message 10 times and it would have to go through 10 times.
Ann,
The Pauls, as with Kucinich, Ralph Nader, Ventura, and a few other politicians who remember the Constitution, are trapped by the System.
4. Dual power.
5. Victory!
6. The Bright Shiny New Democratic People’s Republic of America.
If you have a better idea, let me know.
This is a lovely website.
the NWO scheme was originally hatched in Europe and in England, then supported also by US elite.

Why the Rise of Fascism is Again the Issue
By John Pilger
February 27, 2015 “ICH” – The recent 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz was a reminder of the great crime of fascism, whose Nazi iconography is embedded in our consciousness. Fascism is preserved as history, as flickering footage of goose-stepping blackshirts, their criminality terrible and clear. Yet in the same liberal societies, whose war-making elites urge us never to forget, the accelerating danger of a modern kind of fascism is suppressed; for it is their fascism.

Speculative thoughts..
Russia is not a country that can be conquered.
…that is to occupy…such a country can be conquered
only by its own weakness or internal strife action.
