This got posted on Col cassads non translated blog. It is a interesting collection of WW2 photographs/war art that have been Photoshopped over the locations they depict in the present.

Very astute article on China’s moves, Xi Jinping’s political philosophy and the anti-corruption reforms, how the changes inside China are affecting Wall Street and why this brings the threat of containment and war to China.

    Lots of good material.

Now you’ll have an understanding of why the naval frigates are in Black Sea, will go to the Mediterranean and have also visited Iran.

From here on, everything is connected, related, strategic.

Thanks for the link. Within the item is info about China’s trade policy to favor poorer, weaker nations; whereas Obama today said global trade rules must be written by the Outlaw Empire, not China, since we all know such rules are as unequal as the Imperialist Powers Unequal Treaties imposed on China at the 19th century’s end. Enforcing the law is something new for many US & EU-based multinational corps, and long overdue. I recall both Xi and Putin saying they seek honest partners to do business with, which eliminates most of the “West.”

The morass the “West” finds itself in is epitomized by the vast degree of lawlessness it embraces in all aspects of relations. Greed sponsored that choice–a Sin, no doubt–and now they are followers of de Sade–Libertines–no longer constrained by morals/ethics. If Russia and China can get Asia under one umbrella, then Europe will have no choice other than making Eurasia one bloc. And the Outlaw Empire will finally be remanded to its own corner of the planet.

Outlaw’s thanks for the link are seconded.
One can see signs from across Chinese daily life that XJP is having an effect. The BoXiLai affair, although technically falling under the previous leadership, was a warning shot across the bow to the Chinese 5th column. Everything that’s happened since then were amply signaled by it. The Hu-Wen hear-no-evil, see-no-evil regime was a placeholder while a power-ideology struggle raged off-stage. It’s apparent the 5th column lost and are now adjusting their views, or leaving, or in some cases, being stripped of their ill-gotten gains and incarcerated (or worse).
The one quibble I have with the article is where the author says that XJP “… is not like Mao Zedong, Fidel Castro, or Che Guevara” and that XJP “…does not see himself as part of a world revolutionary movement…”. Fidel himself had a different opinion, calling XJP “…the hardest-core revolutionary I have ever met”. I’d take Fidel’s assessment as authoritative. He knows a thing or two about revolutions and revolutionaries.
I don’t think Fidel’s words denote an “overthrow” of the current regime so much as reflecting XJP’s determination and discipline to pursue a new world order where no single party can define the relations between all the others. I recall an anecdote where Putin or XJP called the other “My mirror image”, or words to that effect. I don’t recall which of them said it, but they are said to have a close personal relationship and great mutual respect. They obviously share the vision of their new world order. I find it uncanny that, whatever providence drives history, at this historical tipping point the dying paradigm is led by empty suits, while “hard-core revolutionaries” usher in its replacement(s).

The true colours of the fascists come out in Kiev:

Kiev prosecutors have reported the arrest of 19-year-old Aidar Battalion volunteer Vita Zaverukha, who is suspected of serving as an accomplice in the killing of two Ukrainian police officers and the injury of three more following a botched gas station robbery in Kiev which occurred on May 4, Ukrainian media have reported…

…Zaverukha, a volunteer in the radical nationalist Aidar Battalion with openly neo-Nazi views, was briefly lionized as a media darling last year as a “heroine fighting against separatists.”

        http://crooksandliars.com/john-amato/neal-horsley-mule-loving-republican-can

I forgot to post about this last week. You may remember Neal Horsley when he famously admitted his love of farm animals with Alan Colmes a few years ago.

        “Is it true?” Colmes asked.

“Hey, Alan, if you want to accuse me of having sex when I was a fool, I did everything that crossed my mind that looked like I…”

AC: “You had sex with animals?”

NH: “Absolutely. I was a fool. When you grow up on a farm in Georgia, your first girlfriend is a mule.”

AC: “I’m not so sure that that is so.”

He is now running for governor in Georgia as a Republican and says that he’d kill his own son for liberty. I’m not kidding you.

WASHINGTON — A bill that would give Congress a voice in any nuclear agreement between world powers and Iran passed the Senate overwhelmingly on Thursday, a rare bipartisan accord to curb executive authority in an era of expanding presidential power.

The measure, which was approved 98 to 1, withstood months of tense negotiations, White House resistance, the f

Under the Constitution, the Senate must approve a treaty with two-thirds of those present. Were a vote under the Constitution taken on a proposed treaty and if 66 Senators voted for it and 34 voted against it, the treaty would not be approved. It would be disapproved. This bill reverses that process. The Senate would need a two-thirds majority to override President Obama. The new bill is a win for him and not for the Senate.

These supporters of the surveillance state are desperate to extend the provisions of the PATRIOT Act that are set to expire at the end of the month. They are particularly eager to preserve Section 215, which authorizes many of the most egregious violations of our liberties, including the NSA’s “metadata” program.

However, a look at the USA FREEDOM Act’s details, as opposed to the press releases of its supporters, shows that the act leaves the government’s mass surveillance powers virtually untouched.

Both the ToO in Afghanistan and Iraq have shown us, that military might only reaches that far [or lasts that long]. As China’s military/Navy/Air Force is no match for the US’ forces [just yet], it should focus on asymmetrical warfare [as it most likely does, behind the scenes] that projects a firm AA/AD onto the Pentagon’s screen of reality and thus explains why China can built on disputed islands, without FUKUS doing JS about it.

TEHRAN (FNA)- The United Nations is troubled because widespread sexual abuse of children by French peacekeeping forces has seriously undermined the credibility of its peacekeeping missions in Africa.

A UN investigation into these serious allegations suggests last year French military personnel in Central African Republic sexually abused and exploited “hungry” children they were sent to protect. A UN worker leaked that information to the French authorities and that worker, Anders Kompass, has since been suspended!

the war flag is the one with the single white cross at the middle …. the other is the naval flag ….. it is a technical matter ….. at the sea you need a lot of stripes at a flag, to be recognized at distance …. thus the flag with the horizontal white stripes is the naval flag of the first Greek naval forces, during the Hellenic revolution against the Ottoman empire ….. NATO had a problem with the war flag and pressed as to adopt a single flag …… we never abandon the war flag ……

Beautifully done, every bit as good as Moscow’s, except for a bit of light rain falling.

They paraded ALL their heroes — thousands of civilians carrying large photos of their hero loved ones, first from this war, then from previous wars. And by parading civilians, they are showing the full extent of their power to win.
