Peski has been in Ukr hands for a good while. Problems is they are using it to attack Donetsk. There is fairly heavy fighting, a few casualties. Only dribs and drabs on VK, which it’s probably best not to pay attention to for now, let’s wait for more official news.
NAF doesn’t “do” big casualties, the way their formations are set up it’s hard to get many of them at once. They’re only up against mortar and tank fire.
A piece of good news is that RT reports the two journalists thought killed, are alive, though are wounded. I’m not sure what “alive” means. And how badly they are wounded.
That good news doesn’t take away from the crime of the attack by the junta. And the killing of NAF troops in that attack (nor the lack of counter-attack in response).I can’t even imagine the response from Stalin in say 1943 to Soviet politicians telling him not to counter-attack against nazi attacks for “fear” of upsetting the Western “allies”.Most likely if they were just stripped of their positions they would be considered lucky. It might be well to remember also that he won the war against nazism. And liberated every inch of Ukraine from the nazi armies.Anything less than that today is a defeat.
Shut up about Stalin. The Georgian.
He is dead killed by his own people who couldn’t stand the fact he was wiping out Russians.
Whatever is happening on the ground will become apparent soon enough.
This is how Reuters spins it — no surprises from that parallel ‘reality’:
“KIEV – Ukraine’s military accused pro-Russian rebels of using heavy weapons that were meant to have been withdrawn under a ceasefire deal, after one Ukrainian serviceman was killed and six wounded in rebel-held territories.”
Big casualties for NAF I have Heard when Ukronazis attackid in Peski and sparta and Peski in Ukronazi hands now.
Or am I misinformed?
