The EU Foreign Service decided to recruit experts to counter Russian propaganda, EUobserver reported.
Wait, what? Yes, the EU will pay €4,350 ($4,670) a month per person to people whose job requirement would be “correction and fact-checking of misinformation/myth” spread by the Kremlin.
The purpose of this expensive mission is to “challenge Russia’s ongoing disinformation campaign”. By this June, the EU plans to prepare an action plan to combat Russian propaganda, EUobserver said.
Obviously the EU being a thoroughly BK entity is just a vicious rumor, has no basis, since they are scheming up ever more money-wasting ideas every day.
They should have plenty available (a few tens of billions at least, short term) to bail out Greece these next few days.
So how much do they spend? Probably much less than your NATO side spends bribing the MSM,funding BBC,VOA,RFE,etc. And paying you and others to infest sites like this with hasbara.Which of course brings me to how much Israel spends on its disinformation.Probably a pretty penny there as well.
Empire is really pushing that tale lately, embellishing as it goes.
This seems to be a pattern with, like with the Saddam gassing 100,00 of his own people (up from the original blurb of about 4,500, never substantiated. I keep seeing more stories about bullshit, such as http://russia-insider.com/en/washington-masters-universe-or-masters-bs/5806

There is not just lies, bullshit, spin, and propaganda here, I think, but group think and magical thinking (in the psychiatric sense). For a ‘true believer’ in the capitalist, imperial and neocon/neolib nonsense the facts not only interfere with their programs, but their personal world views and they need some justification and reinforcement to maintain their delusions and cognitive dissonance. They have to not only try to convince others but keep telling themselves that they are not lunatics (often by projecting their delusions onto others). This is what a big part of being psychopathic is about.
Estern, compare the totality of the western MSM written or spoken in English with what originiates from Russia that is also written/spoken in English. The western MSM overwhelms by orders of magnitude the Russian equivalent. Which then reaches a far greater audience?
Next check the objectivity of western news, ask the question ‘does it present both sides or alternative views?’, or is it one-sided and do they all the media march pretty much in lockstep? You don’t have to have an opinion here of what might be right or wrong -simply a word analysis and graphics evaluation to see if it vilifies Russians and Putin or presents a balance.
I think you know the answer.
Western MSM fails this test miserably. And you are worried about ‘Russian propaganda’? Get a grip on reality.

big news on trade manoeuvering front.
U can also read into this “SCO, BRIICS, EEU, AIIB, NDB” as the targets.
The United States is looking to outstrip China in creating a free trade zone in the Asia-Pacific region by finalizing the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) treaty, Director of the Russian APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Study Center Natalia Stapran told Sputnik Friday.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Thursday, leaders of two key panels in the US Congress agreed on a deal that would “fast track” President Barack Obama’s authority to finish negotiating the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) treaty.
If the bill is passed, it will block Congress from amending the trade agreement while keeping its authority to vote it down.
RE: South Front 4/17/15: US army suicide rates show a darker side of the morale story….Also, 11 pieces of equipment are seized — so maybe Givi will get his armour plated Humvee soon. ?
Yet despite Russia’s very clear threat that its missiles are now armed at two more NATO countries, and numerous previous warnings that the official dispatch of US troops in Ukraine, besides the countless ones who are there on a mercenary basis, will lead to a flash point in the second Cold War, earlier today 300 hundred US paratroopers arrived in Ukraine – a non-NATO country – to “train its forces fighting pro-Russian rebels” according to the US army website.
As AFP notes, the move could “destabilize” the war-torn ex-Soviet country, which clearly is the intention. Because as we have warned on numerous occasions, the entire world is now headed into an event horizon in which the neo-cons have bet that only regional (or not so regional) war can be the economic stimulus that pushes the world out of its global depressed funk. Just like the first Great Depression.
re USA trainers are paratroopers/airborne division -could they be training AFU to be paratroopers too to go behind AFN lines, as the AFU can’t seem to break through to LNR/DPR “territories” ?
Lot of recent drone activity could identify AFN places where it is safe to land and overcome from the rear?
Or maybe paratroopers are necessary to get over the new Kharkiv etc fortifications being built………….or into Kalinagrad…..
How much Russia spend on propaganda? As Uncle Bob said, much less than the Us, or than the ignorants from that ME terrorist country-behind-the-wall, for sure. Nato citizens, take a look at the toilet paper you call “newspapers” and run a count: how many “Russias” and “Putins” you find? And the context? AND YET Russia is a way ahead of nato/us. You know why? There are BRAINS behind it. 99% of the RF diplomats have a really deep understanding of the regions they’re based at, and know every single detail, from culture to ethnic composition. With that you don’t need much propaganda. You need it when you sell diplomatic positions to filthy scum like shapiro in Czech.
MOSCOW, April 18. /TASS/. The Russian Defence Ministry has created a special force on duty to deal with the effects of man-made and natural calamities.
“From Kaliningrad to Vladivostok about 12,000 troops and 1,700 pieces of special equipment and 100 planes and helicopters will be permanently on duty,” the Defence Ministry’s press and information department has told TASS.
The force will incorporate engineering and logistics units, teams of railway specialists and military and military transport aircraft, the source said.”
Could be very interesting-doesn’t exclude military problems? Is this a reaction to NATO spearhead Force? Note ranges from Kalinagrad….polite green men standing by?

VIENNA, April 17 /TASS/. Muslims in Crimea do not face any problems in their religious life, Deputy Mufti of Crimea Ayder Ismailov told TASS on Friday.
According to Ismailov, who took part in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) conference on freedom of assemblies and associations in the member countries, all the religious educational establishments on the peninsula were expected to finish the registration formalities by the start of a new academic year.”
Note this directly contradicts recent international Tatar forum in Turkey I have previously posted, re Tatar persecution etc in Crimea.
“The United States is using the temporary closure of the Crimean-Tatar ATR channel in Crimea as a pretext for pitting Crimean Tatars against ethnic Russians residing on the peninsula, Russian lawmaker Konstantin Kosachev wrote in his blog on Monday April 6th.

, April 17. /TASS/. The European Union is due to endorse a legally binding document by late July on extending the sanctions against Russia until the full implementation of the Minsk agreements, a source in the EU external action service said on Friday.
The document has not been yet drafted and that’s why the EU foreign ministers will not discuss sanctions against Russia at the upcoming meeting in Luxembourg on April 20, he said.
“The legally binding document on sanctions should be unanimously adopted by the European Council [at the level of foreign ministers]. Before this happens, the Council should get the proposal from the head of the EU external action service, Federica Mogherini,” the source said.
“The Council has not yet received this proposal on extending the economic sanctions against Russia,” he explained, adding that the decision on sanctions is to be taken before they expire on July 31.
The European Union introduced the first package of economic sectoral sanctions against Moscow on July 31, 2014 for 12 months. Brussels has to decide on their extension until the expiry date, otherwise the sanctions will be no longer in force.
The leaders of the EU member-states agreed at the March 19 summit that the economic sanctions against Russia should stay in effect until the Minsk accords are implemented to the full extent.
The statement is not legally binding and should be confirmed by a respective act on extending sanctions. It should be first drafted by the EU external action service and then be unanimously approved by the European Council at the level of foreign ministers. The document comes into force after being published in the Official Journal of the EU.”
This could perhaps provide a focus point for Rus to determine EU is directly opposed to peaceful co-existence perhaps, especially if NATO ups the anti in Baltics, and Germany increasingly seems to working with Poland(eg tanks,”The Polish elite would very much like Germany to declare war on Russia once again. The Poles position themselves as experts on Russia, and the West believes them, although the Polish knowledge does not cost a thing” a Pravda article said earlier in 2014), trainers in Ukraine, USA and others supply arms, no Mistral, further EU funding to Ukraine, no denigration of Kiev’s neo-nazi policies by Merkel and Hollande..and there is increasing proof AFU are breaking Minsk with support from Kiev,
and
April 17. /TASS/. “Moscow plans to raise the issue of violations of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons by NATO non-nuclear states at the upcoming NPT Review Conference in New York, the head of Russian Foreign Ministry’s department for non-proliferation and arms control said on Friday.
“We will raise this issue at the conference, especially among the NATO non-nuclear member-states that violate Article 2 of the treaty under which they are obliged not to gain control over nuclear weapons,” Mikhail Ylyanov said.
“US violates NPT by training foreign pilots to use nuclear weapons — Russian diplomat
He explained that pilots of non-nuclear countries are being trained to deal with nuclear weapons. “The idea is not just about the violation of the spirit but the letter of the treaty,” Ylyanov said.”….?

issues over U.S. missile shield in europe might escalate……..?

“With Ukraine easily accessible to Russian forces by road and rail, sea and air, and Russia’s military just over the border while U.S. military might is a continent away, the hard-liners believe Russia would prevail in a war and America would face a choice — accept defeat in Ukraine or escalate to tactical atomic weapons.
The Russians are talking of resorting to such weapons first.
“The decisive date for Putin to determine which way Russia will go would appear to be this summer. The authors write:
“Putin will attempt to exploit the expiration of EU sanctions, which are scheduled to expire in July. If that fails, however, and the European Union joins the United States in imposing additional economic sanctions such as excluding Moscow from the SWIFT financial clearing system, Putin would be tempted to respond, not by retreating, but by ending all cooperation with the West, and mobilizing his people against a new and ‘apocalyptic’ threat to ‘Mother Russia.’
