Interview of Dr. Alan Sabrosky, former director of studies at the US Army War College, who claims that it is 100% certain that 9/11 was a Mossad operation. Listen to the audio of this interview:
Commentary: I think that there is a lot of indirect evidence pointing at the fact that Israel had a key role in the 9/11 events. I have, however, no idea how Dr. Sabrosky came to the conclusion that it was 100% certain that 9/11 was a Mossad operation. There is an expression which KGB officers like to use. They say that “it is important that the ears not stick out” (in a covert operation) referring to the image of a dog, or wolf, hiding behind an object with his ears visibly sticking out. I would say that I clearly see the “ears” of the Israelis “sticking out behind the burning WTC buildings”. Alas, “seeing ears” is far from being a proof of anything.
I am sure that we will hear more from Dr. Sabrosky in the coming weeks and I will try to contact him personally to try to have him clarify that part of his statements.
The Saker
I’ll withhold judgment on 9/11, but I think there is a great deal of evidence that the Iraq War was fought – not for the oil companies, not for Blackwater or Halliburton – but for Israel. For those wanting to brush up on this thesis I recommend reading James Bamford’s “A Pretext for War” or “The Transparent Cabal”. James Petras has also written about this topic at great length. Even Pat Buchanan’s fiery polemic titled “Whose War?” which was written shortly before the war started made this same case. Walt and Mearsheimer hinted at this but the case they explicitly made hints that the Lobby’s support was a necessary, but not sufficient, precondition for gaining Congressional support for the war.
If nothing else, it certainly is clear (to me at least) that Doug Feith and the Office of Special Plans played a key role in fomenting the deception needed to gain support for the war. There have been a few articles about the OSP, but to me it seems like one of the most untold “open conspiracies” around. Most (or enough)of the facts are in the open, but few journalist will discuss this at length. The censure of Douglas Feith by Senator Levin’s subcommitte seems like a very light slap on the wrist.
Anyway, to me it stands to reason that if 9/11 was an inside job, then it seems likely that Israel was involved. But there may have been people in the American government who were complicit as well. For instance Sibel Edmonds has claimed that American officials were discussing the forthcoming war on Iraq with Turkish officials before 9/11. Whether they were complicit in 9/11 is still unclear though.
By any chance do you recall a story leaked by Sy Hersh in an interview With Amy Goodman (I think it was Amy Goodman). He talked about a scuttled plan to have American commandos attack our fleet in the Persian Gulf, possibly sinking a ship, in order to provide America with a causus belli to start a war with Iran. By my reckoning it would be much safer to use Israeli proxies rather than American Special forces for such a false flag attack.
@AA:first, can you please send me your email? Please send it to vineyardsaker@gmail.com. Thanks.
Second, some of your points:
there is a great deal of evidence that the Iraq War was fought – not for the oil companies, not for Blackwater or Halliburton – but for Israel.
Agreed. I think that this is absolutely obvious to any person with a minimal knowledge of the events which lead up to the war.

Of course. The Israelis would NEVER been able to do that unless they had accomplices at the top of the US polity. 9/11 was a joint Mossad-Neocons operation. I don’t believe that anybody suggest that the Israelis did it alone.

I remember it very well.

Not necessarily. If you use Israelis, the Americans in the region might well fight them. American special forces would have an easier time to sneak by US forces.
Cheers!
AA…are you “Arab Advocate”?
@CH: No, I am not Arab Advocate.
