So there I was again on the “Job Creator’s Red-Eye” (NYC to Silicon Valley) – the typical route for us bigwig CEOs – and I got to wondering: WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?
I’m not prepared for something like this. But after the stock market crashed – the fastest 30% sell-off ever – and I survived my suicide attempt, I decided to bravely take on the challenge.
My psychiatrist said that my suicidal thoughts may diminish if I kept a diary. I decided to publish one day from my diary below, because when the smoke clears and the Mainstream Media decides, correctly, that our nation’s CEOs were the real heroes of this crisis, then such historical documents will prove indispensable for inspiring future little CEOs.
A crisis day among America’s bankocracy – excuse me – vanguard party:
08:00: I always get excited in a crisis – every day
A day’s diary from a US CEO during the Corona crisis
is full of fun! I call in my servants and tell them that to me they are family, but half of them are fired until further notice. That got the blood moving!
08:14 – After my crocodile tears stop (I know: it’s bad form to show emotions in front of the help), I tell my remaining staff to immediately go to the grocery store and buy as much food as possible for me to hoard. I insist they go with the reusable bags, because I’m a responsible citizen.
08:33 – A concerned neighbour has kindly left a care package in my driveway. It’s not a lasagna – it’s profits from stocks unloaded after a heads-up call from Dianne Feinstein, the Democratic senator from California.
08:43 – Check in on three of my kids to make are they are e-learning at home. They insist that e-commerce is the same thing. I agree – they need to learn how to navigate the modern economy in order to spend our money correctly. I don’t know why their mothers – my second and fourth wives – keep telling them I’m a bad father?
09:17 – I make a blog post, because everyone is now, but also because everyone wants to know a CEO’s inner thoughts. I inform the workers in my restaurant corporations that to me they are family, but half of them are fired until further notice. And, no, they cannot take the perishable food as severance pay – that would set a precedent, and it’s all about precedent in English Common Law. We simply must preserve order and law, except in countries with Islamic finance regulations.
10:24 – I contact my mistress and say I’d like to see her and watch a movie together to relax. She says no time for Netflix – she has to quarantine and chill. Ok, but why did she choose my Malibu property to chill at? I don’t want to be stuck in New York City now! Honestly, for the past year she hasn’t required a global pandemic just to find an excuse to avoid seeing me. :(
11:03 – How many phone calls are we all making, now that we’re stuck inside? My calls are pretty typical: Fire, sell, fire, sell, sell, fire, wire transfer offshore, etc.
11:37 – My housekeeper shows up for work. What the hell is she doing here, with all the nasty surfaces she touches? As I am pelting her with rocks (imported from Mt. Fuji) while chasing her away she is hollering about her back pay. Her back pay? She’ll be lucky if she gets any front pay, endangering me like that!
12:02 – I feel guilty about all the hoarding.
12:02:04 – Feeling has passed.
12:15 – Feinstein calls me, worried about the loss of tax revenue due to the shutdowns. I tell her: “Don’t worry, I’ll be fine.” She hangs up, satisfied.
13:59 – CNN ends their news program with a brief clip about the huge spike in unemployment claims. More fake news. Why don’t they give us some news we care about, just for a change?
14:00 – Met with lawyer. He says my idea about suing Trump for negligence over not stopping the spread of a biological disease won’t stand up in court. I ask him: then why did CNN spend the previous 58 minutes talking about it, huh?
16:11 – Thinking about the historical gravity of the situation. The Bubonic Plague – how did European society protect the Medicis and their banker friends? Why haven’t I read about this in The New York Times yet? Surely that report is just getting an extra-good edit….
17:07 – Get a prison call from my good friend Harvey Weinstein – he has corona. That guy just can’t catch a break! This is why I’m not religious: bad things always happening to good people.
17:20 – What a great day! I got on the Job Creators’ Red Eye: in first-class we’re having baked Alaska and winged pheasant under glass (Do some pheasants not have wings? Sounds like poor people’s food.). Pretty appalling cutbacks, sure, but it’s a crisis.
Now normally I go back into coach and chit-chat with one of my workers, Fazlollah. Nobody can pronounce that, much less spell it, so we all just call him “Lefty”.
So imagine my surprise when Lefty had the gall to visit first-class uninvited.
Lefty said: “The pilot has quarantined himself in the cockpit and the stewardesses said they got a text saying they are all laid off. There’s no food back in coach.”
You can imagine my response: “Lefty, you self-centered, obstinate, foolish, degenerate!” I screamed. “In any crisis you do NOT bother first-class with your problems! Get the hell out of here and go fear God!”
These Middle Eastern types (though he could be Pakistani)… they can be so, so overdramatic, eh? Fazlollah immediately executed a standing broad jump of eight feet to within an inch of my chin, in total violation of current social distancing rules (see – he really is self-centered!). He told me that if I ever talked to him like that again I’d have to explain to my fifth wife how his shoe got wedged between my ears.
Fazlollah has big feet. I’d fire him for insubordination, but who’d do the engineering?
He took my winged pheasant – he didn’t even leave me the wings! He said there were kids were hungry back in coach.
What a fool – you’ll never be a good CEO without knowing when to hoard, which is: always. Fearing rioting I had slipped a mickey into the champagne of my other mistress, who was next to me – she was out like a light. The winged pheasant was really tasty.
18:53 – While being chauffeured home from the airport I look out the window and realize: I have never seen so many fat Americans taking a walk. This crisis may reduce health care costs, not raise them!
19:25 – Home for second dinner. What do you think hoarding is?
20:15 – My third kid from my first wife is there. She is having issues with the crisis and wants to talk. My God, this quarantine is a French hell. Sartre said hell is other people, and he wasn’t stuck with a spoiled American teenager for eternity!
21:00 – I call it day on work after my last decision: firing some more of my corporation’s divisions to keep stock prices up. Hey, I’m an economic patriot. It was via the usual method: darts at a dartboard.
22:05 – Leave the house to see mistress #3. Hey, don’t judge me if I break quarantine sometimes – if it’s a good reason it’s ok. Let’s not criminalise normal CEO/French presidential behavior.
23:30 – Reflect on the day. “Basically – it was weird.” Funny, my third kid said the same thing after dinner – she’s more well-spoken than I thought.
23:45 – It occurs to me that tremendous economic damage is being done by the stay-at-home orders. This damage won’t really be done to me – of course, I’ll be made whole by Western central bankers. But it does give a thinking and feeling man pause for concern.
23:46 – Sleeping pill kicked in. Out like a light.
I dreamt that I was Shiva, destroyer of worlds. Abraham was there, puny and pathetic. Austrian economist Joseph Schumpeter towers over him holding a banner reading “Creative Destruction”. He smiles to me and I am illuminated by his genius. I go flying over America – I can’t tell if the lines are for bread, unemployment or coronavirus tests. After a while I am brought to earth by Oliver Twist, who appears out of nowhere to ask me for more gruel. I tell him to get the hell back to England, as this is the US. I see Bernie Sanders starting a new, third party – the “US Menshevik Party”. Dreams are so hard to understand! My dream, which had now lasted 7 minutes, is interrupted by TV commercials – conditioning/habit, I guess? Alan Dershowitz then tells me whatever a CEO does cannot be illegal because it is in the best interests of the US. More illumination and flying.
Great dream! Who says people are over-stressed now?
But I woke up weeping, worried about this month’s heart surgery of long-time JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon. Sure he may have helped provoke the Great Recession but he also shepherded the 1% out of it too – we simply must have his leadership should Congress actually pass this socialist, commie, anarchist “people’s QE”. Think of the precedent it could set!

SOE Spain now extended to April 11.
Summer Olympics for sure now looks like “0lympics” (spelled with a zero)—Canada just pulled out.
Pretty good man, very funny. Also, probably not all that far from true. Cheers.
” I go flying over America – I can’t tell if the lines are for bread, unemployment or coronavirus tests.”
President Trump is considering sending Americans back to work by easing the stay at home restrictions. The government is buying everything, but the stock market keeps collapsing. The serfs have to go back to work and get back to shopping to save the “economy”. President Trump is damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t.
If he rescinds the stay at home restrictions and more Americans fall ill/ die, he will be blamed for it. To top it off the state governors will defy him to “protect” their constituents and enact more stringent restrictions. If he doesn’t rescind the restrictions the corporate and 1% troughs for his reelection will dry up.
When this is all said and done the Chinese will look like geniuses. One day historians will write that this virus is what put the end of the American empire into overdrive. Thank you for making me laugh!
“Americans fall ill/ die” everyday. It’s called life cycle. You live, then you die.
I spent last year learning and researching to prepare for the crash and try and help my loved ones. I’ve been feeling serene ever since the markets went pear shaped.
The more I analyse the fascinating situation we all find ourselves in, the more I think the Chinese are just running away with the game. Geniuses indeed.
Pooty must have savoured his schadenfreude steak covered in a rich irony sauce that is the free market discovery of oil prices. The US shale industry has been taken out due to capitalism functioning as intended. Ho ho ho!
I wonder how much squabbling there is amongst the various cabals right now. Plenty of lower ranking types just want to keep making money rather than get involved in James Bond villain type behaviour.
An interesting time to be alive.
Very sharp and funny content, Ramin! I bet the daily life of the CEOs is not much different than what you’ve pictured…
Bone,
Using my own limited vocabulary, I wrote about those recent events you referred to, here and there, piece by piece, as they were materialising. You put them all together!
There were many challenging moments in the last 10 years. However, they were promising for those of us who understand a bit about history and how it progresses (historic materialism in mind). Now, a very exciting new decade has just started and really monumental changes can be seen in the horizon.
It is indeed an interesting time to be around.
Suicides from depression will be ‘FAR GREATER’ than coronavirus deaths unless America reopens for business ‘soon’ – Trump
This is not Saturday Night Live, but the United States government. The laughs just keep coming and it’s not even a comedy show. The countries that have slowed the virus down will not allow Americans to enter their country in the future. They will effectively quarantine themselves from us because our greed is more important than the health and safety of our own people.
The 50 states will begin to close their borders to curtail the spread of the virus from the neighboring states. If the federal government doesn’t lead then the states will go at it alone. Where California goes the rest of the country always follows. New York is currently at the epicenter of the fight against the virus. Healthcare professionals are already complaining of a lack of PPE’s and ventilators. Thus far it is only two States, what will happen when all 50 states start looking like New York and California?
Thank you for the chuckles and smiles Ramin, tho as I read, couldn’t help being reminded of The Secret Diary Of Adrian Mole.
Anyway, a humurous take on the mentality of the uber wealthy.
And yeah, we are living in very weird times. I would almost say… Kafkaesque.
Economically, the chickens have come home to roost, and sadly, many millions will lose everything because of parasites like your CEO.
So many right across the West are fully embracing the presstitute media narrative on the Coronavirus. Some are literally begging to be locked up. Many others are just passively nodding in agreement with the extreme measures being put in place – states of emergency, lockdowns, martial law, censorship of YouTube and Facebook and Twitter.
Does no one remember the German Reichstag Fire?
“Some are literally begging to be locked up.”
I recall the line:
‘If you trade your freedom for security, you won’t get security nor freedom’
Exactly… And many can’t see this. At all.
Thailand just got their first sample of the “Italian Strain” a few days ago, doctors are reporting that this is not the “Wuhan Strain”
It took two weeks for Thailand to find the ‘super spreader’ that has been making many people very sick, turns out that its a no-symptom kid who had just returned from Italy, but managed to lie to the authority’s, after tracking the infection, back to patient zero, they finally got the person to admit he had been to Italy, and partying with infected people.
The thing about this strain unlike the Wuhan is that it can be carried 15-30 days and show no symptoms, but for the elderly it can send them to ICU over 20% of the time, unlike the Wuhan strain which is about 2% goes to the ICU.
Thailand had been RNA-DNA sequencing this virus for weeks, but it couldn’t determine its origin, as they knew it wasn’t the Wuhan-Strain as they had been analyzing that since January.
https://thethaiger.com/coronavirus/italian-coronavirus-strain-may-be-more-dangerous-than-wuhan-version
Six weeks ago Thailand discovered that the “Wuhan Strain” had HIV sequences in the strain, they found that if they gave critical ICU patients HIV retro-viral therapy drugs that 1-3 days the patient symptoms were such that they could be removed form ICU, but this new strain had confounded to doctors until now, once the “Italian Strain” is completely sequenced Thailand will develop therapy.
For now they’re calling for total lock down as this new virus can be spread by the young who show no symptoms.
People in Thailand are still going about normal daily life in spite of the call for self-quarantine, which hasn’t been working, as people in Bangkok without employment simply return to the family village, and then go out and hang with friends. Gov is trying to get all village elders to force family’s to self-quarantine themselves if they have a family member return from Bangkok, or Chiang-Mai, or any tourist area which have been completely closed 6+ weeks. Many police are infected, I doubt that this will be taken seriously until the military are called in to enforce the self-quarantine protocol.
A gaunt looking ghoulish figure seemed to materialize from thin air rather like a hologram from a badly connected electrical device. He spoke with gravitas seemingly not moving his lips. ‘Ahhh, my dear Dr. Comley. Allow me, my card’.
We exchanged cards which seemed to get us nowhere fast.
Looking about and spying my lunch in the waste basket he said, ‘Now, to business. My name is Mullet. Have you ever heard of Chinese Virus?’
‘There’s no one of that name here’, I replied quickly glancing under my desk just in case. Nothing is certain on the seventh floor of the FBI building.
‘OK,’ Mullet said, ‘but just listen to me while I tell you a tale. In 1296 on the Isle of Ewe the dreaded Chinese Virus struck. In six weeks, in just six weeks mark, Chinese Virus had destroyed the entire population!’
‘What a splendid story’.
‘Yes’, he paused. Considered the PhD certificate behind my desk and with extra gravitas then added, ‘as I was saying, Chinese Virus could easily destroy the entire human race!’
‘Mr.Mullet, why are you telling me all this? ‘
Mullet: Why? Yesterday, Chinese Virus claimed its first victim in Washington. He said this as if it should have been common knowledge among all PhD’s
‘Ha-Ha. I said, You jest.’
‘I jest what?’
‘Well, you just said that Chinese Virus just claimed its first victim in Washington.’
Mullet waved a serious index finger under my nose. ‘Yikes! How can you joke when Chinese Virus threatens? Sit down while I tell you a tale. Last night, last night, my dear Comley, I was a passenger on a local bus in Washington.’
‘I sat up, ‘you reckless fool, you!’
‘Touche’, he replied, ‘the bus was passing the Congressional Fire Station, all as normal …..’
Why did I keep thinking “Mike Bloomberg” as I read this? Maybe it was Fauxcahontas’ claim that the Tiny Tyrant called women “fat broads” and “horse-faced lesbians”?
Then, after I finished reading, the name “Martin Shkreli” popped into my head. A real CEO and model citizen is he:
https://www.cnbc.com/2019/09/06/martin-shkreli-sues-man-over-420000-debt-he-owes-mans-dad.html
The Tangerine Jackass has had his own way for so much of his life that he is incapable of admitting error, and he’s made a great many lately, right in front of TV cameras. He gives himself a 10 out of 10 on his handling of the virus epidemic in the US. He claims that people have told him that he knows a great deal about the virus (and of course he agrees with them). His grandstanding and self-admiration are so revolting that it’s hard to believe that he can be re-elected, but Christ, just look at the vegetable that the DNC is going to run against him — a vegetable that practically all of the D candidates have endorsed, which means that all of them are despicable, too. The bewildered herd is so well brainwashed that they actually believe that those two morons are the only candidates that they are allowed to vote for. I wish it were all just a bad dream, but it definitely isn’t. I wonder what Mr. Putin and Mr. Xi are going to do with the US after the election? Are they just going to keep “taking it”, lower and harder, from the US of A(Removed language,MOD)?
HaHaHa! In France only since 2009? Boy the man learns relativity fast!
I was watching some news this morning about kids being homeschooled and it got me thinking.
I would like for people to get engaged in more serious topics, like:
– the effects on the young generations, what insane/fearful type of world they are growing up in, how they are experiencing all of this corona-hysteria and how it will mold & shape them, what type of persons they will become
– home schooling – are we gonna see the bygone family structure again where the mother usually is a ‘hausfrau’ cooking cleaning taking care of kids, homeschooling them, while the father goes to work? Is this new-old division of responsibilities reintroduced because there aren’t enough jobs to go around?
– home schooling – education standards were low even before, but now they are reaching new lows or soon to become non-existant? Like in the feudal ages : education for the selected, mass illiteracy for the rest?
What say you, folks
There is little doubt that todays and tomorrows kids will develop early heart disease, one can see it in the frame of the body if one looks close enough.
I think there is evidence out there that home-schooled children perform better, academically, than their pals who go to school. I guess it all depends on the teacher . . .
https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2011/09/study-of-the-day-home-schooled-children-score-higher-on-tests/245036/

I’d love to homeschool my partner’s kids. The curriculum here in Australia is woefully inadequate for what kids actually need to be ok in the world. My last teaching practical was at a school run like a prison. My supervising teacher was terrified because I was treating the students like humans; something akin to the anarchy that breaks out with the use of coloured chalk.
You can learn whatever you want on your own thanks to the internet. You get free access to the finest minds in the world. If only people would take advantage of this wonderful resource. An old friend who I rarely see these days told me he was bored after two days of quarantine. How is it ever possible to be bored?! At worst you can always spend your time thinking…
Both parents working is horrible for all concerned. The kids get conditioned to doing as they’re told, undertaking meaningless work that they don’t enjoy for 7 hours a day. Schools need a massive shake up. We need to do more than condition students to compete with each other and obediently become a cog in the machine.
Brilliant! Psychologically true, and funny as well. This is the off-duty side of the serious Ramin whom we know so well, the Ramin of economics and socialism. Shows the positive side of a bit of creative leisure due to an enforced break from manning the barricades with les Gilets Jaunes.
And from the peasants point of view…

Most american (and all big companies CEO’s) resigned last year/this year, and fled to their bunkers, revealing foreknowledge of what was to come.
Just do a quick search “ceo resigns” and you will get dozens of results from the news, many articles pointing big shots and other saying more than 1300.
Very good point! But it does not take a big company CEO to know that the economy, the stock market in particular, has been on life support at least since 2008. If it was not for the Feds pumping money into the markets, and for internal company stock buybacks, the markets would have crashed long ago.
Economic prudence says the Fed should have been notching up interest rates while the economy was steaming so that a monetary cushion would be available in times of trouble. Instead the Fed was taking down interest rates while the economy was steaming for the purposes of making it steam. This amounts to economic cocaine. Along with other Lais sez faire “Chicago School” economic policies, global sourcing, and “Just in Time” manufacturing all aimed to maximize short term corporate profits, what equity reserves existed in the world were melted away. All it took was a little unforeseen mishap to make it crash. The CEOs knew this, and they bailed out while the bailing was good.
So, basically the globalized western economy did not have enough equity in it to afford to hunker down for a couple months. This little sneeze the world is presently contending with was all it took. Interestingly enough some world leaders did have enough sense. Mr. Putin says Russia can hold out for a few years.
This corona-virus is just a prelude for what is to come. There is a much larger economic tsunami on the horizon. That is climate change. Although there exists no casual proof that this corona-virus pandemic was caused by climate change, climatologists have long been predicting exactly such events. More, and more severe, earth shattering events that promise to upend our economies, are forthcoming. Bringing climate change under control will require massive changes with the way the world does business. Our entire economic structures, our manufacturing systems, lifestyles, and energy infrastructures must change. We all need to come to this realization. It is not just our economy that is at stake, but the very existence of mankind.
That was hilarious. Thanks.
Brilliant!
Thanks for starting my day with a whole bunch of laffs.
Katherine
CDC, (Centers of Disease Control and Prevention), released its US influenza report for the week ending March 14 with the total deaths at 23,000.
https://www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly/index.htm
Key Points:
“Laboratory confirmed influenza-associated hospitalization rates for the U.S. population overall remain moderate compared to recent seasons, but rates for children 0-4 years and adults 18-49 years are now the highest CDC has on record for these age groups, surpassing rates reported during the 2009 H1N1 pandemic. Hospitalization rates for school-aged children (5-17 years) are higher than any recent regular season but remain lower than rates experienced by this age group during the pandemic.”
“CDC estimates that so far this season there have been at least 38 million flu illnesses, 390,000 hospitalizations and 23,000 deaths from flu.”
Representatives of large pharmaceutical companies, government officials and health experts got together last year on October 18 in New York, where they simulated a pandemic of a fictitious Coronavirus. The event was called Event 201, it was a collaboration between the John Hopkins Centre of Heatlth and Security, the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Some of the topics that were discussed were:
The international centralization of the management of information which is “cascaded to informed advocates, the NGO communities, medical professionals etc.” Daily reinforcement of the message they wanted to convey.
How to incentivize the behaviour that they wished to see from the public; how to overcome the problem of national sovereignty, by using influential people and powerful constituencies within the nation to convince the heads of state to act in the manner they wanted, instead of resorting to punishing governments that didn’t comply. This approach of not dealing directly with foreign governments was described by one of the participants as “Stealth Mode.”
Using companies to promote the behaviour they wanted, i.e companies closing their operations, however it was agreed that pharmaceutical companies should stay in the background because it could arouse suspicion.
Controlling social media which could cause “huge damage” with disinformation. There was a representative of the military who said that the social media platforms presented an opportunity to “understand who it is that is susceptible in what form to disinformation.”
Training health care providers to not say the wrong things; recruiting faith based institutions ; working at the grassroots level.
They also talked a lot about a strategy which they called “Flood the Zone,” basically it is inundating the world with their information.
Yup, that is just another smoking gun. Put that together with the thousands of CEO’s leaving their posts and fleeing to the bunkers, the purposefull narrative control, the lack of appropiate measures to deal with this after months in the brewing, and we can be sure that this is no coincidence.
All on schedule, all the numerology and all the pointers. Believe what you want. I for one believe this is on purpose and was predicted far long ago to be a coincidence.
“There are no coincidences. If it looks like one, you can be sure there was a lot of work to make it look that way” some american president.
It doesn’t make sense. Tuberculosis, pneumonia, hepatitis, Influenza, and many other diseases kill far more people than this Coronavirus. This year, worldwide more than a 100,000 have already died from Influenza. The vast majority of people that died from Covid-19 are elderly and most of them had one or more preexisting diseases.
I’m worried about what is coming; there must be a goal that they want to achieve. I fear that vaccinations will become mandatory; if you refuse, you either will be imprisoned or you will not be able to be employed. It appears they intend to make sure people have had their vaccinations by fingerprinting them and using an invisible dye on their skin which can be detected by a smartphone app. There are also plans to adopt an international digital currency because handling money transfers disease, and to keep track of every individual’s movements at all times.
Here is an excerpt from the following article: https://www.technologyreview.com/s/615370/coronavirus-pandemic-social-distancing-18-months/
“To stop coronavirus we will need to radically change almost everything we do: how we work, exercise, socialize, shop, manage our health, educate our kids, take care of family members.
“We all want things to go back to normal quickly. But what most of us have probably not yet realized—yet will soon—is that things won’t go back to normal after a few weeks, or even a few months. Some things never will.”
You are correct but not b/c of forced vaccinations, the constitution defends this as an invasion of privacy plus you are always free to prove your health situation is above and beyond the masses who elect to subject themselves to the vaccinations.
The new normal will be ones ability to afford to live as they once did as prices of many things will take a long time to recede and be a hit or miss depending upon location.
Ramin:
There actually are some in government that are acutely aware that human labor is an absolutely necessary input to create physical wealth production from agriculture to industry to essential services and from transport, to health care to education. Capital …private or state helps…but without labor nothing happens
Huey Long realized that his voters would never be half as productive as the workers and farmers of Michigan, Illinois, Ohio were Louisianans to remain handicapped by a serious deficit of roads, bridges and electrification. Since the days of slavery and cotton, the mostly agricultural south had always been lagging way behind in economic development, compared to the north and northeast.
Others, like FDR and Henry Wallace (Roosevelt’s first VP) understood in the 1930’s that armed conflict was almost surely coming and the nation with malnourished and discouraged men and women would do very poorly in production and fighting if not adequately fed and equipped for the coming phase of “politics by other means.”
Therefore in the 1930’s the mass electrification of farms…The Tennesse Valley Authority was undertaken and completed. The Chinese studied that project before undertaking Three Gorges….a much, much larger internal improvement.
China can’t be faulted for taking the chance to rapidly industrialize….exploiting the greed of western shareholders desiring much lower labor costs…but neither can Trump and American workers be faulted for rejecting the globalists….and bringing industry and jobs and secure sovereign supply lines back home.
Both are quite possible simultaneously as OBOR is pushed forward and China continues developing its internal markets. Achieving its goal of nearly 100% poverty eradication is doable without shouldering ALL of the manufacturing that Americans should be doing largely…………..themselves and for themselves and trade balancing.
I think Trump realizes these things and despite the easy temptation to hate and envy the billionaire…..and wish that he were more generous and “socialistic” (sometimes that is required…like during a pandemic…but sometimes overdoing the public dole just kills initiative…….) as a simple wish………… I would suggest that a more real dichotomy exists in global politics today than the old Marxist vs Capitalist one:
Namely, Globalist Malthusians that intend to force population reduction on the planet…and the Anti-globalist that intend a return to national sovereignty and the further development of their national territories and populations.
As messy and vexing and frustrating as is the task of turning the Globalist Super Tanker around is and mothballing it in order to save the country from those who have made the US a dumb military giant on a British Imperial leash…….there is considerable evidence that that remains Trump’s primary overarching intention….besides defeating impeachment and winning a second term……which ARE prerequisites to doing anything of more lasting benefit, no??
Which is the reason behind the demonization of first Russia, and then now China, and the determination of the Empire Minions, at all costs, to maintain their Globalist, Malthusian, genocidal agenda and rope Trump up in all of that dangerous insanity.
And the Fake American Left…..are their biggest suckers and dupes.
By contrast, the Deplorables may have their ideological problems, but many of them are figuring things out at a much faster rate than the Sanders and AOC people…and the Never Trumpers, in general.
And there is where you can get something negotiated and done…as opposed to with the destroyed fools that don’t even know what gender they are…..but figure Biden or Clinton could take on Russia and China.in WAR..and “win” so they can live out their fantasy lives………..of non-productive consumerism.
Which is a non-starter for anyone with half a brain.
Always interesting to read your writing Bro – many thanks.
The Marxist-capitalist dichotomy is always going to exist, I think, especially because capitalists are always going to socialise the losses, eh?
Germany a $1.1 trillion national bailout? That’s 30% of their annual GDP. Decade of austerity-inflicting is how they got that money, of course. Just crazy, crazy economic things going on now.
And what happened to Germany’s moral righteousness about balanced budgets, huh Angela? Oh, it doesn’t matter in a crisis? Germany can do it but Greece can’t? Thanks Angela, don’t come back from quarantine.
Capitalist stuff like this just shouldn’t go on, but it will as long as the financial capitalist/socialist dichotomy has zero yin-yang balance.
I am following some industry sites, and i can sense that the US and the UK are retooling their industries at an unprecedented rate.
They have fooled everybody again.
While everybody is saving grandma, Oceania is reindustrializing. I surely detest the ignorant pindos, but i am amazed at their ability to change course and refocus.
Now the game is on…
