Okay, this guy is not from the famous (and hyper secretive) Russian “Spetsnaz GRU”. But he is from the DPR’s equivalent and he most likely has had his training with the Russian GRU. Also, having met many Spetsnaz operators in the past, I can tell you that he is rather typical and representative of many of them. So when I saw this interview, I asked my friend and brother in arms Tatzhit Mihailovich to translate and subtitle it, which he has very kindly done (thanks brother!). So see for yourself what kind of men liberated the Donetsk airport and in Debaltsevo from the Ukronazi “cyborgs”: (press the ‘cc’ button to see the English subs!)
Thanks very much for posting this interview, Saker. This is the kind of reporting we cannot get anywhere else. I am glad for the soldier that he got to tell his story. It might help him in the years ahead to speak about it and not keep it inside. This man’s story tells me that you cannot win a war with conscripts and/or mercenaries…you need people who are fighting for their land.
I disagree about conscripts. The defense of the country should be every citizen’s ideal and conscripts have done extremely well in the past. In Afghanistan Soviet conscripts were a vastly superior force the the US contract soldiers for example. I think that a mix of conscripts and professional soldiers is the best mix, each has its own weaknesses and strengths, but conscripts, especially Russians ones, have a long record of “fighting for their land”.
Cheers!
about “fighting for their land,” I can’t get it out of my head and heart that the land of the Ukraine, a third of the arable land of (Europe?) I read, the bread basket, the black earth….(how long does nature take to develop soil like that?)….(see that video of the small farmers being thrown off their land by military because it now belongs to investors)…..this very land is a critical heritage for human life going forward and it is about to fall under the knife of Monsanto and be irreparably poisoned…..this is a battle for the life of the planet…..sorry, but i really see it that way.
anon don’t apologize…your comment is very concise and says it all.

Last year, British forces in “Helmand” province send a message to the Taliban that all major operations were carried out by the Americans, so if we did not target them, the British forces would not target the Taliban,” Nazir said.
What a cowards!!
We are living in a topsy – turvy world, where might is right, evil is good.
==============================
western reporter to Taliban -“and how do you find the british and Americans ?” =
Taliban -”Cowards”
The western reporter “why??”
Taliban man ”The Russians at least had the bravery to face us”
“The Americans and british hide behind American skirts and call in air-support so that they try to destroy us by air attack from a far to make it easy for their soldiers”
“and we used to have stringer missiles in 80s so you can see soviet bravery “
breath taking.
A heart pressing stinging thing strikes when I see these pics and words.
I think Bad Vlad must better let it absolutely clear to the likes of Hollande/cameron/Merkel what will
fall down over their heads if the Outlaw empire gets to put missile systems in western ukraine.
Just impressive! Saker recommend this brave young man not to smoke while recovering! Just kidding he deserves not one cigarette but the finest cigar!
Excellent video. Thank you The Saker for this video and all the excellent work you do.
What an unGodly act those Right Sectors committed- to douse a human being with gasoline and burn him alive. I was going to say the Right Sectors are beasts, but I don’t want to insult the beasts. God protect the NovoRussians.
Carmel by the Sea
Excellent video
^And this on a day when the western media are getting excited over reports that a few of the Nazi volunteers may have been executed as Pows.
Nobody talking cluster bombs or Pows burnt in petrol.
“We cleared out those bunkers with thermobarics.”
Do you know what thermobarics are?
Thermobarics, also known as “fuel air explosives”, “vacuum bomb” or “enhanced blast munitions”. An explosive that due to its composition (fuel without oxygen) produces longer lasting blast wave and higher temperatures, together with the effect of using oxygen from the surrounding air thereby enhancing its lethality against personnel, especially in bunkers and caves. Most widely used Russian infantry weapon of this type is RPO-A Shmel, most “impressive” land weapon of this type probably being the TOS-1 Buratino.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thermobaric_weapon
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RPO-A_Shmel
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TOS-1
Anti tank shells usually leave the inside of a tank completely torched with all life within extinguished.
What is the difference with dousing someone with gasoline? It is cheaper than the anti-tank shell, just takes maybe a few seconds longer to die. As for the pain and suffering of the opponent, looking at past military actions, just how important is it? It is often a tool to intimidate, to frighten, particularly civilians to make them flee.
War is about murdering the chosen opponent. It is premeditated. There is no “kind” and “considerate” way to murder anyone. Anyone who puts on a military uniform has to accept they are going to murder or assist murdering someone. There is no getting around it. Calling the armed forces “defense” forces is just mental masturbation. It is a nasty business in all its forms.
This… is a man, which is an endangered species these days. I would like to know what happened to the Poles, US, or other soldiers in the Cauldron. Did they escape? Obviously there is no publicity about it by the western media and I don’t think the Novorussians are tipping their hand as to what they know.
Surprisingly, either on Strelkov’s VK page, or The Resistance’ google+ page, they stated it would remain secret. Which of course, makes one wonder who ordered it so – why, or what they got in return for that.
I think this was one of the hidden deals of Minsk2
Check this out on foreigners killed fighting on the side of the Ukranian Nazis: About 400 U.S. mercenaries, almost 400 Poles, etc.
http://en.voicesevas.ru/news/3613-losses-of-foreign-legions-and-nato-mercenaries-in-donbass.html
I believe the information on Foreigners in Debaltsevo was used as leverage in brokering a ceasefire in Minks. If It was made public it would have given Russia the right to intervene. Ukies wanted it to be the other way around so America would be given the right to intervene.
95% sure he is volunteer from Russia. May God bless this brave man. We all should understand: these people are fighting for everyone of us too, they are fighting on the forefront of war for global domination started by Zionist Empire, under which rule no nation will have any sovereignty or freedom.
E.g. in todays France Jean-Marie Le Pen is labeled as “anti-Semite” and prosecuted for saying that gas chambers is just a historical detail. So you can be “Charlie” as much as you want, but you are not allowed to even slightly criticize Jewish yoke or Zionist regime ruling todays France.
95% sure he is volunteer from Russia.
Agreed 100%
May God bless this brave man.
Amen!
We all should understand: these people are fighting for everyone of us too,
Agreed 110%
Cheers,
The Saker
@1:20 “…my direct commander was Spetz…National Guard captured him, doused him in gasoline and burned him alive” – ‘OMG, nothing left to say’ –
I’m hoping that they hunted the ones guilty of that down and eliminated them.I know I would have tried if I could have.
It makes me feel like a coward when I see these brave (and even women) who are fighting against EVIL in the Donbass. They are risking life and limb, let alone go through genuine hardship, while we sit behind laptops commenting on different issues every day.
These men and women fighting in the Donbass, are very simply humanity’s best hope at this historical juncture.
Dear The Saker,
Thanks for posting this video. All these wonderful men who fought and died or got injured to save Donbass. What is interesting is hearing about the Americans and Poles straight from the horses mouth/witness.
The fact that Chocie boy and his crew can’t even fight on their own terms and use all these mercenaries – who fail too – just about sums up this whole disgusting “ATO”. Which is due to start again with Canadian satallites.
The Donbass has guys like these who fight for their country, freedom and the rest of us against this evil Hegemon and it minions.
I actually think Chocie boy has lost the plot somewhat – going a bit doolaly….
I think the next round will be worse with the Right Sector now legitamised and the Junta army having all this time to prepare and get their heavy weapons ready and in place. And more mercenaries and foreign instructors. Do they really think we don’t see through the Polish visit to Kiev? and the timing.
I feel they will ruin the 70th anniversary :( .
Rgds,

As to foreigners fighting on the side of the Nazis, Voice of Sevastopol has this, which claims about 400 Americans (mostly mercenaries) killed, along with 400 Poles:
http://en.voicesevas.ru/news/3613-losses-of-foreign-legions-and-nato-mercenaries-in-donbass.html
A very moving and informative account of a genuine hero’s harrowing experiences and indomitable courage in the Novorossiyan struggle. I am truly appreciative of the opportunity to listen to this brave man’s words! Thank you, Saker, and thank you, citizen soldier!
Awesome soldier. Thanks for the translation subs.
Tonight the offensive has begun by the Ukies. Rusvesna.su and Col. Cassad’s website http://colonelcassad.livejournal.com (you’ll need yandex for english trans.) report serious attacks across the front.
Holy Week hell from the junta. A satanic and macabre attempt by Porky, Biden, Nuland and the degenerates of the CIA-State Department war criminals.
“Only fools are not scared…”
Very true. What an incredibly, brave man. Because of his calmness, you’d almost forget he nearly died.
I wonder what I would’ve done, had I been in his boots, and the emerging image is a lot less brave [Depend]…
Saker what a fantastic video…I’ve sent it on. What a brave man. and he survived !!
The following video should give you some idea of what happens if you end up in a
hand-to-hand combat situation with [one of] these guys.
If the Poles and Mericans were fighting alongside the Ukies, that would in a way mean that US/Nato military got their asses kicked by Russia.
For Saker a message written in Croatian
If you think to build cooperation with, say, Latin America , Russia can not take anti-Catholic policy .
Why not write in English like everyone else here?
“Srbi su velikim dijelom uspjeli ruskim medijima i internet blogerima prodati svoju priču.” And what exactly is the Serbian “story” that was sold to Russians.
I can see that Croatians are already getting ready to jump ship again and just change uniforms. All of the sudden it turns out that anti-Russian sentiment in Croatia is something entirely tied to Croatian political elite??
When Austro-hungarians came – Croats served them fanatically.
When Nazis came – Croats served them fanatically
When NATO came Croats served them fanatically
There is more in between. Like when Hitler’s divisions entered, Croats sang “Danke Deutchland”. They were bigger Nazis than Germans. When they saw that Nazis were loosing they jumped ship again and join anti-fascist movements and acted like they were doing it all along.
Now when Anglo-american empire falls Croats will act like they were always against it.
And last but not least – Croats HAVE NO RIGHT TO TALK about the Orthodox – Catholic relations.
The worst crimes in HISTORY OF HUMANITY were committed by CROATS against Orthodox Catholic population consisting mostly of Serbs.
And let me guess, Alojzije Stepinac is a saint, right?
First of all, you need to separate European version of Catholicism and Latin America version of Catholicism.
The European version sold its soul decades ago. In fact it is very Protestant, a very water down version of faith.
Latin America Catholicism version has far more closer ties to Orthodox.
Strong faith in Jesus, strong belief in the Virgin Mary, use of icons and saints, we believe in sin, etc.
The problem in L.A., many are converting and becoming Protestants. We are losing our soul. The rise of Protestant NGO also isn’t helping.
People want to eat, and if an NGO clothes and feeds you, and tells you god thinks you are special, and since your sin was paid by god therefore you have no sins, you have no faults … basically american exceptionalism spread via the Protestant faith.
And let me guess, Alojzije Stepinac is a saint, right?
Correct and remember that all Latin America is the Roman Catholic.
But it might be that Latin America is connected with Christ, not just Roman Catholicism.
Latin America is not all Catholic and the Catholic church has been losing membership there at a phenomenal rate. In roughly the last generation or two, Catholic percentage has dropped from 90% to 69% of the population there.
Religion in Latin America
Historical data suggest that for most of the 20th century, from 1900 through the 1960s, at least 90% of Latin America’s population was Catholic (See History of Religious Change). Today, the Pew Research survey shows, 69% of adults across the region identify as Catholic. In nearly every country surveyed, the Catholic Church has experienced net losses from religious switching, as many Latin Americans have joined evangelical Protestant churches or rejected organized religion altogether. For example, roughly one-in-four Nicaraguans, one-in-five Brazilians and one-in-seven Venezuelans are former Catholics.
Overall, 84% of Latin American adults report that they were raised Catholic, 15 percentage points more than currently identify as Catholic. The pattern is reversed among Protestants and people who do not identify with any religion: While the Catholic Church has lost adherents through religious switching, both Protestant churches and the religiously unaffiliated population in the region have gained members. Just one-in-ten Latin Americans (9%) were raised in Protestant churches, but nearly one-in-five (19%) now describe themselves as Protestants. And while only 4% of Latin Americans were raised without a religious affiliation, twice as many (8%) are unaffiliated today.
I found it deeply troubling, divisive and unfounded, when I encounter manifestations of hostility between Catholics and the Orthodox. There is so much which unites our 2 Churches: Our respective institutions comprise the 2 lungs of one Universal Church! We share core Christian beliefs: Revelation in Scripture; we recognize the 7 Ecumenical Councils; venerate the teachings of the Early Church Fathers; venerate Saints; respect the spiritual value in Pilgrimages; share similar views towards christian patronage of the Arts and Sciences; venerate Mary as the Mothor of God and Theotokos; recognize the Real Presence and the efficacy of sacramental grace; and share similar ecclesiastical structures: deacons, priests, bishops.
Our differences largely, not exclusively, but largely, boil down to cultural differences based on geography. The Roman Catholic Church was raised in the Roman West, the Orthodox Church, in the Roman (Greek) East. Surely, we can overcome human tendency to look for differences, as superficial as they may be, and tackle the relatively limited differences we may have on points of doctrine. Let us resolve to do this!

Thanks to Saker, Tatzhit and Cassad.
Thank you very much to Kappa for being there. Fortunately, the most valid are never there for medals, but by heart and soul.
I wish this Hero of Novorossiya a speedy recovery with no complications.
I am sure that medical teams look after him as he deserves.
“The song of the chosen” by Silvio Rodriguez

“(…) hubo la historia de un golpe
sintio en su cabeza cristales molidos
y comprendio que la guerra
era la paz del futuro
lo mas terrible se aprende enseguida
y lo hermoso nos cuesta la vida
la ultima vez lo vi irse
entre humo y metralla
contento y desnudo.
iba matando canallas
con su cañon del futuro
iba matando canallas
con su cañon del futuro….”
“(…)There was the story of a coup
felt in his head crushed crystals
and realized that the war
was the peace of the future
the most terrible is learnt quickly
and how beautiful costs us life
the last time I saw him go
between smoke and shrapnel
happy and naked
He was killing scoundrels
with his cannon of the future
he was killing scoundrels
with his cannon of the future…”
@Ignatius
I don’t doubt there are foreigners(I’ve seen videos showing Georgians, Chechens, one Swede, etc), including poles and even zamericans but I higly doubt the figures of killed and wounded in the article u posted.
I don’t even believe there were that many poles and zamericans fighting there at all.
If that had been the case, more evidence, including footage from the separatists very active alternative media would have appeared by now.
Best regards
If 50,000 died, then those numbers aren’t that high. Also, mercenaries doesn’t mean of a certain origin. Also, the strategy of those who want more war may have been to put these troops in to force the political regimes in places like Germany or Poland to support an escalation. Russia perhaps cut a deal with Hollande and Merkel that the proof of Western soldiers would not be broadcast; otherwise, they would have had to support more war.
Media in wartime are always controlled. And a high percentage of the deaths have come from artillery, so it is not like lots of civilians have seen the bodies.
I’m glad he survived and hope he will recover fully. Thanks for posting this interview and making it accessible to English speakers – both Saker and Tatzhit Mihailovich.
Paul II on April 11, 2015 · at 8:01 am UTC:
“If 50,000 died, then those numbers aren’t that high.”
Well Paul, 50,000 did NOT die on the UAF side. This figure is much too high to be beliavable.
To put this in perspective this would mean the ukrainians would have suffered at least more than 200,000 casualties(KIA, WIA,MIA).
Or consider that the Germans suffered on the entire Western front, not just Normandy, a little more than 23,000 kia for the summer of 44(june, july, august).
The German FM said 50,000 dead.
Our futures depend on each one of us, as in this video the hero states. Amerika, Britain, Germany, Australia, Canada, all the neo-Nazis, want to eliminate all Europe and all Russia, later all China, remake a world that is imploding as it is being remade, billions are to be erased in order to make room for passive, management, obedient colonies. All nature tamed to nothing, all humanity tamed to nothing.
