Since I am sitting at home stuck in my chair I might as well take the time to thank one supporter from Switzerland whose initials are ML who has been sending me a donation each month. He never wrote to me and I only know his name because it is one the wire transfer. ML – if you are reading this, thanks a lot for your kind support!
The Saker
Good news out of Russia, Hurrey!!! Lavrov said that Russia will respond in kind way to seizere of Russian assts by western partners. Fantastic. They take your kindness for weakness stupid.
Let’s sing to “Glory, Glory Allelhuya” tune: Oh, Mr Lavrov smoke Gringo cigarettes, bisx3
And they nothing but a s**t.
You understood lhim wrong.
He did not say he will respond with kindness (friendly, loving, gentle). NO.
He said “respond in kind” which means “with the same kind of actions” — same kind, same type, same sort, same way. In other words Russia will take THEIRS if they take any of Russia’s.
True Mr Lavrov smokes, but they look like Russian cigarettes to me.
Right Kat Kan!
“in kind” = reciprocal
So what have you been smoking, Rick?
que se mejore su tobillo , ilustre bloguero .
What are you having a shot of?
ML thanks for your support to Saker too…!!
And Rick….welcome to Saker’s where we read things twice before commenting !!!

“A shot message of gratitude to..” — “short”, I think it is.
This blog (as many others) uses a language called International Typo. That is the dialect used by people whose first language is not English. In fact some use Augmented International Typo, which involves the addition of auto-correct. The secret to reading this language is to read what the author intended, not what actually came out of his keyboard.
In the case of an ESL (English as Second Language) person like Rick, it is kindness (not weakness) to explain obvious misunderstandings, without blaming them for misunderstanding. It is not their fault, it is the fault of the language, which has 5 words for just about anything but then uses the same word for 3 different things.
Yes, people need to appreciate that English is the hardest language in the world to learn because of the infernal amount of idiomatic expressions.
It is therefore I do not comment any longer…
