One week after the latest US aggression against Syria, the Syrian Army and its allies have spared no efforts in continuing their raging fight against terrorism. Douma was liberated last week, right after Washington and its vassals bombed Syria to “save lives”, and on Tuesday reports emerged that jihadist militants of the besieged city of Al-Dumayr, further east of Damascus, have agreed to evacuate to northern Syria. With this last pocket cleared, all of the Rif Dimashq (Damascus Governorate) will be cleared of terrorists.
Meanwhile jihadists in the Rastan pocket further north have reportedly called for the Russian center for Reconciliation to start negotiations for an evacuation as well. The pockets are falling one by one in Syria, these are areas that were previously considered untouchable but are now falling within days of fighting. I previously mentioned that Washington and its allies’ resolve in Syria had been shattered, this is how it’s manifested.
What Washington is currently doing on the ground in Syria is a mystery since their attempts to partition the country will be met with full force from the Resistance Front (Syria-Iran-Russia-Hezbollah) and even their own Turkish NATO allies who will never allow the formation of a YPG-led Kurdistan south of their borders. If anything, the failed attempt in Iraq, where all countries in the surrounding area united to oppose illegal Kurdish independence, should have taught Washington’s Kurdish proxies a lesson.
With these facts at hand, it could explain why US president Trump is considering a withdrawal of American troops. Although encouraging news indeed, I remain very sceptic to the likelihood of that happening, despite the recent Saudi offer to replace US troops with their own forces in the US occupied territories of eastern Syria. Even with France also offering to replace US troops, the chances of a US withdrawal out of Syria seems rather slim, because since when has the US truly withdrawn from a country it has invaded? Take Iraq for example, Washington supposedly withdrew in 2011, seven years later they still find ways to weasel themselves into Baghdad.
This doesn’t mean that Washington won’t attack Syria again, in fact, much like a wounded animal, Washington is even more dangerous now and will probably lash out at Syria soon again.
Once the last of the pockets are cleared, Syria will turn its eyes on the terrorist stronghold of Idlib in northern Syria. Rest assured that new false flag chemical weapons attacks will be carried out every time the Syrian Army is about to crush the terrorists, and Washington will once more find a new excuse to delay the certain defeat of these terrorists. We all saw what last weeks strikes were all about, a show of force where Trumps “smart missiles” were largely beaten by Syria’s even smarter air defence.
After Douma was liberated the day after the strikes, recent images taken by the Syrian Army showed a grotesque reality of what these throatcutters of Jaysh Al-Islam were doing in Douma. Footage of entire underground cities and massive prison complexes dug by the civilians of Douma through means of slavery and threats proves how “moderate” the Zionist backed “rebels” truly are.
As Hezbollah Secretary General, Hassan Nasrallah said earlier this week “anyone still thinking about Syria’s collapse is delusional”. So what does Washington hope to achieve in eastern Syria? The truth is that Washington has no strategy in Syria, even Washington itself has admitted to this several times.
According to analyst Elijah Magnier, Washington had planned a major offensive on the Syrian capital before the Syrian Army’s East Ghouta offensive. According to Magnier, citing sources in Damascus, just as the Syrian Army’s southern Idlib offensive was reaching its peak, the offensive was ordered to halt and the spearhead forces to be redeployed to Ghouta.
Magnier explains that “Russia had informed the Syrian leadership of a large gathering of forces at Al-Tanf US-occupied military base on the Syrian-Iraqi borders, where tens of thousands of US proxies have received continuous military training. The Russians identified unusual military movements and understood that the US was preparing to push Syrian proxy forces to reach eastern Ghouta, linking itself with around 30,000 jihadists in Ghouta itself. This attack was planned to take place simultaneously with a diversion from Daraa, southern Syria, attacking south of Damascus so as to deceive the Syrian army and its allies into leaving smaller forces around the capital.”
This plan which would have severely undermined the Russian-Iranian-Syrian efforts since 2015 and given Washington the upper-hand was foiled because of Russian vigilance. With Ghouta now liberated, Washington’s hopes for a game changing move grows slim.
Washington still holds sway among its Kurdish proxy forces in the SDF, but are they ready and willing to fight Washington’s fight against Syria and its powerful allies, while trying to fend off constant Turkish attacks? I highly doubt that. The only thing Washington can do now is to delay and foolishly undermine the inevitable collapse of the West’s jihadist proxies, with the Syrian Army and its allies closing in on them at every front.
This is the end of the line for Washington, it’s time to step off because Syria will win.
Vietnam.
I think he meant voluntarily.
Vietnam? it’s still occupied to this day.
I agree. Actually, this talk that the US has lost all wars is not right either – they have destroyed completely the countries they have attacked (Iraq, Lybia, Syria, Ukraine…). This is their objective – to put these countries out of business, in total chaos, as they cannot make them their vassals. So, they have succeeded in their intent.
“This is their [Zion-dctated] objective – to put these countries out of business.” — Meaning to create and proceed with the mass slaughter of human beings of all ages in the name of Eretz Israel, banksters, and MIC.
Why have the Vietnamese forgiven the USA for the Vietnam war, but Germany must continue to pay for WW 2?
The US elites do not care about a trade war with China, as they will simply relocate American factories from China to southeast Asia…….
Has anyone else noticed that a lot of products imported into the USA are proudly made in Vietnam?
I see, since America can’t convince the world they’re the ‘good guys’, the next logical step is to convince the world they’re ‘invincible’ – so as to ensure no resistance/hostility towards American actions build up – right?
The USA certainly caused a lot of destruction and chaos in the world, but I wouldn’t say they completely destroyed the countries they attacked, they probably wanted to, but fortunately they failed.
Iraq – there’s an article on RT right now of the Iraqi air-force attacking ISIS(mercenaries working for America) positions, doesn’t look completely destroyed to me and don’t think this one counts as an American success story.
Libya – apparently the country is split in two with a Western-backed leadership on one side and Russian backed one on the other, so not completely destroyed and with luck may recover.
Syria – as the article points out, aren’t they currently winning the war brought upon them by USA/NATO and their allies?Again not completely destroyed.
Ukraine – when did the USA attack Ukraine?Recently? Are you perhaps implying that the USA-backed coup in Ukraine was an attempt to destroy the country?Oh boy, I hope somebody tells the Ukrainians that, they seem to have their guns pointed towards the wrong direction.
Though it is true that the USA is trying to destroy countries through military means and regime change to put them out of business, to remove competitors and plunder them, because the USA has lost it’s edge and can no longer compete purely on economic terms.Typical of latter day empires. It is also true they have succeeded to a certain extent, but at what cost? The world sees the USA as a threat, nations/peoples no longer wish to associate with them, much less do business with or host it’s military bases. So as far as grand/wider objectives of American foreign policy goes, I’d say it is a case of winning some battles but losing the war.Btw Vietnam is not occupied today.
“This is their objective – to put these countries out of business, in total chaos”
fully agree – I don’t think either they’re losing wars, their objective is different, or it shifts. A) try conquer peacefully, b) arms twisting, c) color revolutions, d) direct intervention to scare, force them into complying, e) devastate and annihilate with minimal human casualties (on the empire’s side), objective is at this point one that changes depending on the conditions. Get resources out, permanent instability, cause harm to Russia (most of the countries attacked were neighbors or RF allies, in some sense of strategic interest) and so on. It’s perpetual moving goal, they’re laughing at them ‘losing wars’. Look ‘at the other guy’, all those countries they visited will never be the same, they completely destroyed Russians interests in most of them and so on (we could go one by one but it’s pretty much like that all around). And Vietnam, they lost but kicked into a plan f) back to economical divide and conquer.
If we think they’re losing, then they’re even more winning.
The only bright spot (and the opposite for the empire) is Syria so and so, grayish more, could still go either way – I personally wouldn’t call it a win still, we thought that months, year ago, but it’s still ‘complicated’. Axis can still do lot of damage, even more so wounded as they are.
But the USA will never be the same either. Nowadays it’s become a squallid, delapidated Zio-gay cesspool where one can only still live in relative peace in select areas of the country or in gated communities. It is no longer the place I knew from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s or even 90’s…
How true! And I hate all those “analysts”, who keep trumpeting, how USA didn’t succed in “bringing democracy”, and keep repeating it every time, tha USA attack some country! How stupid you must be, to think that they would keep doing the same thing over and over again, and then come to conclusinn, that “they didn’t learn from previous mistakes”!
The US government didn’t withdraw from Vietnam, it was kicked out.
Sober and to the point. Well done, Aram.
Meanwhile, in real-life Syria:
” As mentioned for a few days, 3 pockets in inner Syria are having constant attention in the past few days:
1) Eastern Qalamoun
5 cities/villages and few hamlets, is under some sort of an agreement for a long time (few years) with scattered skirmishes. For few months both Russia and Syria are devoting a strong approach to get this pocket pacified and the end of terrorists in East Ghouta basically sealed their fate. There is a catch that this pocket has a large nbr of terrorists, left overs from the East Ghouta and it was sealed back in 2015-2016, left overs from ISIS when this group was pushed backed from central Syria last year and finally NATO terrorists that were infiltrated in the past 12 months from al Tanf in order to build forces for an attack to east Ghouta that was about to happen in January-February 2018, which was foiled by shifting the TFs and other elite groups from Idlib to storm East Ghouta.
All in one, thousands of terrorists are located inside this large pocket, some already closed the deal with the Gov’t and are being transported form today to the 23rd, this is mainly from the key town of Dumayr. One more town is under severe process to reconcile, Ruhaybah, these two are the largest towns, as per map below and while Dumayr is completely surrounded, while Rubaybah saw action for the past two days and ws just encircled by the TFs, so no chance, it will reconcile as soon as possible.
http://wikimapia.org/#lang=en&lat=33.694923&lon=36.681633&z=12&m=b&gz=0;366526222;336213379;1144981;1175633;745010;1493906;305557;1359761;501251;1025733;690078;942920;1143264;1139945;302124;517305;0;245830;240325;2858;593948;0;745010;114348;525283;423013
There is no doubt the terrorists will leave these two towns and the locals will re integrate to the central Government in seconds.
The remaining 3 cities are smaller, Jairoud, al Atanah and Nasiryah, but only Jairoud is dominated by hardcore terrorists and has local support, but these villages can not defend themselves against any serious attack by the SAA, they are exposed and in flat lands.
http://wikimapia.org/#lang=en&lat=33.843616&lon=36.764545&z=13&m=b&gz=0;367210292;338003330;863456;779925;995635;765673;1038551;640247;223159;0;0;96994;559616;620291
The remaining pocket is highlands and where many hardcore terrorists left to hide themselves, this are will see fight and a branch of TFs are already attacking them at the moment.
2) Rastan pocket
between Hama and Homs Province. This is complicated pocket, two large cities surrounded by another hundreds villages and hamlets. It has a strong Sunni population that embraced the terrorists early one and it has a large nbr of al Qaeda terrorists in it. Most of the locals have decided to reconcile with the Gov’t but al Qaeda did not and continue to influence the facts on the ground.
The last week saw a unprepared offensive on the NE side of the pocket, without any elite Syrian forces involved, early gains were reversed and only some gains NE of the pocket in the highlands were kept and held by the SAA/NDF. This unplanned offensive could have been initiated to push the terrorists toward the negotiating table, which is happening right now, though this is a pocket with large influence of Muslin Bortherhood teaching and support, it may take extra time here.
3) Southern Damascus
large and dense urban areas with 3-4 neighbourhoods, where both ISIS and al Qaeda have presence, lower thousands terrorists, several deals were made and broken, recently the Syrian High Command placed many thousands of soldiers around the area to start an offensive, ISIS and al Qaeda know they will not hold, so the chances for a deal is high but the big question is to where ISIS will be green bused ? News are indicating a deal is near but doubts remain.
Syrian-Iraqi Joint Operations
Last but not least, the Syrian and Iraqi Governments have reached an agreement about a month ago about joint operations in Eastern Deir ez Zour, since the SAA can not, at the moment, cross the Euphrates to fight ISIS, the Iraq airforce will hit ISIS, that is currently under US/SDF protection, reducing its gathering points and pushing them to isolated place and further north, away from the Euphrates. This operation will be followed by future offensive by the SAA and allies on Homs and maybe across the Euphrates.” (Canthama)
The General Staff are convinced the US is at war with Russia on all fronts, and readying to attack with military force. Consequently, Russia must prepare to defend to the point where the US will lose the advantage of both surprise and swarm – and lose its own forces as well. Such a defence requires the Russian doctrine of red-line surprise so that, once crossed, the US cannot be confident it can defeat Russian defences, nor confident the US can defend itself against the launch of the newest Russian weapons. War by miscalculation between US and Russian forces is therefore much closer now.
“I hope,” says Korotchenko, “that all sides will come to a common decision on this conflict, because ‘hot war’ will mean the end for all mankind. And we don’t want it.”

Thanks for the link, and thanks, everyone (as always) for your insights. All of this material is in a form that is plain enough for a non-specialist like me to “get” what happened, and what will likely unfold in the near future. I pray that as time goes on, Americans will focus more of our mental energies on truly constructive things like nation-building, Starting with our own. Borrowing from Lincoln, “we must think anew, and act anew”….. in the days to come, when the human race finally stands united on the smoking graveyard of the “new world order” it will be (partly) because we chose not to participate in that awful system, and partly because we saw that we can build a more equitable society, and partly because we saw that the destruction of the earth will cause our own destruction. Our next mission, Truth-Warriors, is to carefully study ways to overthrow the “deep state”, and once we get a grip on that we will feel like we have re-floated the Titanic (or something else that was “impossible”).
The empire’s devoted vassals strike back!

Statements of doctors and medical personnel and video showing no chenical wafare precautions being taken by them are to be ignored as this is ‘disinformation’:

American forces used 4 million tons bombs in Vietnam War, average over 1 500 tons per day. Explosives (of tons) equal with 3 000 cruiser missiles daily. And you know what? They lost the war. They had not even slightest chance to win it anyway.
What even we think about technology and other “nice things” the fact remains : you just can’t beat determined enemy fighting against you, enemy having large support from civilians.
What do you mean by lost? Vietnam is a mess. People are still being born with defects. It is still occupied by the US, doing what the US wants…
Sure?
Vietnam is socialist-one party country. It’s 90s reforms projected VN in the market economy, they adhered to WTO and greatly diminished poverty (they far better than e.g. India, China, Philippines). But they still hold a firm grip on most economy sectors, politics, communications/press; have good schooling, decent healthcare, 6% yearly growth (EU and USA would KILL for that).
Occupied by USA?
The 500,000 members of VN People’s Army (mostly Russian armed) and the 500 members of the Communist Party elected in the National Assembly would strongly object to that.
They have a bilateral pact with USA, as well as AFTA. But they also have strong relations with Russia and adhered to China’s OBOR (China makes 50%+ of their imports BTW). They’re an important player in ASEAN because of their natural alliance and coordination with Laos – partly with Cambodia, too – hence a very valuable partner in the diminishing US influence Asian scenario.
Does this look like they LOST the war with USA? Or that they’re politically US lapdogs like – say – Germany or Japan?
Have you been to Vietnam? I found it very different than you describe.
You Americans have trouble admitting when you guys get your clocks cleaned. Well, no worries, you’ll have opportunities to practice at it.
I have been to Vietnam twice in the past two years and heading back next week. Vietnam is a proud country and America is in the country? Where? I did visit the military museum in Hanoi where I observed school children in grade school and in secondary school being given tours of the shot down B 52 parts that are a mainstay of the objects on display. They are learning who has oppressed them and killed millions of their people and what it took to attain freedom. They welcomed this American and I took pictures with them and am glad that they are teaching their children about what America did to their country along with the French.
Vietnam also has a young, hard-working, educated workforce and they have grown economically 110% since 2008, the highest in the region. They are steadily moving forward and I wish them well. I am also looking to retire there one day. Better than being in this war monger country.
Colonel Patrick Lang:
“I am told that the old neocon crew argued as hard as possible for a disabling massive air and missile campaign intended to destroy the Syrian government’s ability to fight the mostly jihadi rebels. John Bolton, General (ret.) Jack Keane and many other neocons argued strongly for this campaign as a way to reverse the outcome of the civil war. James Mattis managed to obtain President Trump’s approval for a much more limited and largely symbolic strike but Trump was clearly inclined to the neocon side of the argument. What will happen next time? ….”

Those thinking that worse animals are generals and soldiers don’t know that even worse are humanitarian imperialist and strategist think tank “genius”, especially if having no idea of what military can do and what it can’t.
I think Rupert Murdoch’s media was saying that Bolton opposed Trump (and certainly other neocons) wanting to have wider strikes at Russian and Hezbollah targets. No, its not that Bolton actually discovered his soul. But he did apparently think it was bad form to start world war 3 in his first week on the job. I guess he fought so long and so hard for that white house pass that he wanted to enjoy it at least a little longer. :)
Daraa, the Southwest and the complicity of Jordan to enable a force buildup of proxies the US and Israel are training and will use to strike the underbelly from this DEZ (de-escalation zone).
Because of the ease of supply to the fanatical anti-Assad locals, these proxies will be a festering issue.
Israel will never cease in this region because it ties up Hezbollah and Syria from working to regain the Golan.
Expect False Flag incidents in this sector for the foreseeable future. These locals are the holdouts in all negotiations. The DEZ was a Russia-US surprise from the Putin-Trump brief talk last year. Tenuous at best.
Actually, SAA had been amassing its élite forces around Daraa, upon finishing East-Ghouta. They were going to assault it.
A done deal. But Jordan asked for a delay of the attack in order to ignite negotiations with militants and avoid a brutal showdown. Syrians and Russians obliged. Then the false-flag and the Strike occurred.
Deconfliction Zone it’s long gone and Daraa – with its border-crossing to Jordan – it’s fair game for SAA. It’s just that they’re frying easier fishes, ATM, like Qalamoun (also Israel/Golan border), Rastan and Yarmuk.
every conscious human in this world, who knows actually what is happening in syria ,should pray for it’s survival cause this conflict may decide the future of humanity.A secular country with a steadfast leader, is being assaulted by the most powerful and rich nations in the world. This is not a civil war [CIVILIANS do not harvest organs of children},but a brutal no hold barred attack on a humane nation by the most powerful political entities in the world.
dont cry for syria ,but pray it survives.
“Containers with chlorine from Germany and smoke grenades produced in the UK town of Salisbury have been found in the Damascus subrub of East Ghouta, a spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, told media during a press conference on April 19.
“In the liberated areas of Eastern Ghouta, Syrian government troops have found containers with chlorine – the most horrible kind of chemical weapons – from Germany, and also smoke grenades produced – please pay attention [to this] – in the city of Salisbury, the UK,” Zakharova said.
“It is difficult to even comment on this fact in any way, as it is so frightening and undermining the belief in the humanity of certain countries.””

“…when has the US truly withdrawn from a country it has invaded? Take Iraq for example…”
Never mind Iraq… take Germany and Japan.
Or, for that matter, Mexico. Invaded in 1848, after which the USA simply tore off more than half of the country and kept it. Worth remembering next time an American tells you that the USA doesn’t invade countries to steal territory!
“…Trumps [sic] “smart missiles” were largely beaten by Syria’s even smarter air defence”.
Although, on the principle that everything Washington says is untrue, we might assume that the American missiles were not new and smart but old and dumb. Might as well shoot them off as part of a mission that was never intended to accomplish anything – and just possibly fool the Russians by leading them to underestimate the latest and best US missiles.
“just possibly fool the Russians by leading them to underestimate the latest and best US missiles.”
Lets not forget that huge majority of weapons of big military powers are not at all modern. More likely just few percentage are top modern. I can still remember the media hype of “smart bombs” and “smart weapons” of Gulf War (1991). However in reality some 98.5-99% of bombs dropped were old, many from 1960’s or even earlier.
One point needs to be added. According to Chinese military reports, quoted by some websites, both the US and UK had troops in Eastern Ghouta, directing the “moderate rebels”. According to Chinese assessments, the Russian Air Force killed some 200 US military advisers, while the Russian military police captured 200 British SAS troops. Of course one can question if these Chinese assessments are correct, but the US-UK-French missile attack against Syria could – perhaps – be placed in the context of Chinese claims, with Trump and Theresa May trying to bully Assad to release the prisoners. According to one website, the moment those British troops were captured, Theresa May opened diplomatic channels with Moscow, asking for their release. The Russians, apparently, stated that the British Government would have to negotiate directly with President Assad. After that we get that chemical false flag in Syria and Trumps, May’s and Macrons missile attack.
As for the US, I do believe that it really has no precise strategy when it comes to Syria. Israel would, of course, like to see a US military presence in northern Syria, both to overthrow President Assad and to attack Iran. However, Trump would be very foolish to go that far. I think that even he knows this.
What are the sources of the Chinese reports? Links please.

Bet that was an interesting phone call. After a month of telling lies and insulting Russia, suddely Miss MayDay has to call to beg to get her people back. If I had any money, I’d have paid to be sitting in Putin’s office watching his face when that call came through. :)
Aram, the plan is to cause as much destruction as the “attack dog” can get away with. “Attack dog’s” lords always used that method.
They will fold here and do something somewhere else soon, 2 months from now is better probe anyways for a war with Russia.
Syria hands over two unexploded cruise missiles to Russia found after US strike — source
http://tass.com/world/1000645
“Two cruise missiles found unexploded by the Syrian military after the US missile strike on April 14 have been handed over to Russia, a source in the Syrian defense ministry told TASS on Thursday.
“Two cruise missiles that did not detonate during the US missile strike on Syria overnight to April 14 were found by the Syrian military. Both are in rather good condition. These missiles were handed over to Russian officer the day before yesterday (April 17),” the source said, adding that both “were sent to Russia by plane yesterday (April 18).”
TASS has no official confirmation of this information from the Russian defense ministry.”
Once US Takes Over Syria, Turkey and Iran’s Turn Would Come – Politician
https://sputniknews.com/analysis/201804191063725783-us-syria-turkey-iran/
“Instead of collaborating with the US that supports terrorist organizations which threaten Turkish national security, Turkey should focus on building cooperation with regional players, giving priority to its own well-being and stability of the region,” Hasan Bitmez, the deputy head of the opposition Turkish Saadet Party (Felicity Party), told Sputnik Turkey.
“The imperialist forces’ attack — contradicting the norms of international law — on one of our neighbors and a Muslim country is unacceptable under any pretext,” the politician emphasized.
On the other hand, French President Emmanuel Macron’s remark that the strike has “divided” the Russians and the Turks also indicates that Turkey was one of the targets of the attack, according to Bitmez.
“This process is connected not only with Syria; it also embraces Turkey, Iran and Iraq. Once the United States, France, Britain and Israel achieve their goals in Syria, Iran and Turkey’s turn would come. The Turkish government should not ignore this fact,” he highlighted.
The politician pointed out that instead of implementing the policy of the US, which supplies the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), outlawed in Turkey, and the Democratic Union Party (PYD) with weapons, Ankara should put the region’s interests first. “One must understand that the support of the US’ Syria strike means facilitating the strengthening of positions of Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) and the PKK in northern Syria,” he highlighted.
For his part, Utku Reyhan, the general-secretary of Turkey’s left-wing Vatan Party (the Patriotic Party), opined that Damascus should be included into the Russia-Iran-Turkey format of the Astana talks.
He believes that Ankara should take initiative in ensuring Syria’s unity. Cooperation between Moscow, Tehran, Ankara and Damascus is of vital importance for the future of both Syria and Turkey, Reyhan stressed.
“For this reason, the Turkish government should avoid statements that may create an atmosphere of mistrust in relations with Russia and Iran. Such statements will not benefit Turkey’s national security,” the politician emphasized.
“All reasonable countries should understand that the future of Syria cannot be separated from Assad, since there is no other force similar in strength to ensure the territorial integrity of Syria,” the Turkish politician pointed out.
Commenting on Macron’s statement on the alleged “division” between Russia and Turkey, which was later refuted by both Moscow and Ankara, Reyhan suggested that the French president’s move was prompted by a lack of political and diplomatic experience. “It seems that he doesn’t realize that such verbal attacks only facilitate a Russian-Turkish rapprochement.”
“No matter how many representatives of the [Turkish] government express satisfaction with the missile strike on Syria, a number of publications close to the [Turkish] authorities and even some politicians note that this attack was a provocation aiming, in particular, to spoil Turkish-Russian relations,” the politician emphasized.”
Macron’s fizzle: 12 French missiles launched at Syria, but several more fail to fire
https://www.rt.com/news/424628-french-missiles-fizzle-syria/
“The French Navy had to use a backup warship to fire three cruise missiles at Syria after a planned barrage failed to launch. The airborne missiles had issues, too, with at least one of the ten failing to fire properly.”
The article provides a lot of useful details on the french side of the war crime.
Hi VT and Larchmonter-
I am always appreciative of your postings and look for them in all the threads. Thank-you for your consistent Truth speak.
My question for both of you is whether the FU*KUS bombing in Syria was a decoy to gather intel on RF electronic signals to be more prepared for the next provocations. It seems like such a childish retort on the part of FU*KUS. I keep thinking there was an ulterior motive.
Thanks for any clarity.

“My question for both of you is whether the FU*KUS bombing in Syria was a decoy to gather intel on RF electronic signals to be more prepared for the next provocations.”
In part, yes, I agree. Other goals, I believe, we’re to delay the defeat of their terrorists in East Ghouta, which would delay the roll up of other pockets of terrorists, that we are now starting to see. This would buy more time to restart the terrorist war there, that seems to be in the works.
Another was to seriously damage the Syrian Air Force. The reason so many air bases we’re attacked.
Still another reason was a propaganda “show of force” designed to humiliate Russia and make them look weak and cowardly.
It is also possible they wanted to provoke Russia into making a response that could be used as a pretext for wider u.s./nato involvement against Syria. This would also tie in with their strategy of creating an “Arab coalition” to attack Syria.
Then there is bolstering the failing popularity of trump, may and macron in their respective countries.
Boost MIC profiteering.
Agreed and it should also be noted that the Soviet Union’s military misadventures in Afghanistan and economic issues that supposedly collapsed the Soviet Union is considered a great success story of American/Western foreign policy in the USA.So I believe the Americans are trying to recreate the same conditions and circumstances again for the Russian Federation hoping it will collapse the same way.Combined with all the economic sanctions and now this ‘Arab coalition’, not to mention the situation in Ukraine, it makes sense to look at this with this angle.I don’t think it will work though.
This idea that Trump and MBS appear to have cooked up of using Saudi troops in carving off a portion of Syria has some interesting problems.
The Kurds have been fighting the ISIS and Al-Qaeda head-choppers. Since they are religious fanatics who seem to hate anyone who isn’t of their exact brand of extremism, including other terrorists, the Kurds rightly have fought them off. This has happened in both Syria and Iraq. Now, Trump and MBS dream that the Saudi mercenary army from a Saudi government that everyone knows has been backing the jihadis is going to be welcomed by the Kurds?
For awhile there, the Kurds seemed to have a working arrangement with the Syrian government. The Syrians were busy elsewhere, and were happy to leave the Kurds to fight ISIS in their part of the country. Seems like a real possibility that if the US tries to tell the Kurds that now they have to welcome in the Saudis, that the Kurds might just decide that they like the Syrian government better.
Kurdish areas in Iraq and Syria don’t seem to be very happy about accepting Sunni Arab rule.
