Wow, I just took at look at (the excellent) informationclearinghouse.info when I came across this:
Alex Jones vs Piers Morgan On Gun Control
Now, I have to admit that I have always intensely disliked Alex Jones, not so much for anything he said, but more for his delivery: he speaks like some typical inbred redneck half wit, an almost a perfect caricature of the arrogant, ignorant, loud and obnoxious American, the kind that is hated and despised worldwide and who, therefore, stays at home and avoids learning a foreign language at all cost. Of course, that is hardly much of an argument. According to the Bible, the prophet Moses was “weak in speech, and slow-tongued” (possibly a stuttering problem) and had to speak through Aaron to get his message across. Being aware of the very real contribution of Alex Jones to the 9/11 issue, I did not want to criticize him too much. But having now seen this video, I can only come to the conclusion that Alex Jones is far worse than the hysterical imbecile he tries so hard to impersonate during this interview, he actually is an agent provocateur.
Think of it, two of the most visible “truthers” which do get (some) airing time on mainstream media outlets are Alex Jones and Jesse Ventura – the same type of testosterone-poisoned loudmouths who will immediately turn off anybody with a minimum of education. This is hardly a coincidence, I think. Folks like Jones and Ventura serve the same function in the USA as Vladimir Zhirinovsky in Russia: they say a great deal of very important and true things, but they mix in a lot of utter nonsense and a delivery style which makes them look like lunatics.
It is also rather obvious that Jones only clearly caters to the least educated part of the US population. When he shrieks that Mao, Chavez and Castro took guns away from their population or when he says that civilians armed with semi-automatic guns could prevent a despot from coming to power, he is clearing aiming his message at those whose only form of “education” is sitting in front of a TV (anybody else would only listen to such crap with a mix of amazement and disgust).
It is no wonder at all that CNN’s Piers Morgan let Jones spew all this nonsense like some court jester or buffoon without interrupting him, only to then ask his opinion about 9/11. Having made a complete fool of himself, anything Jones would say at this point would sound as complete hogwash, which it does this time too, of course. Did you notice the banner “Jones conspiracy theories” which appeared at the end of the interview to reinforce the message?
It’s not only 9/11, by the way. There are a lot of articulate and very well-spoken opponent of gun control in the USA who could make a very good case for their point of view, but just like the articulate and well-spoken truthers, these guys get much less air time than the “obviously crazy” ones. I would say that Uncle Sam kills two birds with one stone here: he makes both truthers and supporters of the 2nd Amendment look like retards who need to be send to grade school to get a minimal education and some lessons in basic civility and table manners.
Both Jones and his Russian alter-ego Zhirinovsky still have a substantial following and that is very discouraging, at least to me. The big difference is that at least in Russia we now have democratically elected President and government of real patriots, whereas the USA is firmly in the hands of the two factions of the 1% Party: the Republicrats and the Demolicans. This is why the situation in the USA is so much more immensely tragic.
The Saker
Didn’t you say that Fabled Enemies promoted by Alex Jones was one of your favourite 9/11 documentaries?
Alex heavily promotes the thermite theory while Jesse thinks Judy Woods theory of a ray gun.
Anyway he started relatively well for maybe a minute with facts in hand but went on a mad rant 1776, Prozac, and top it off with 9/11.
Also a couple of things:
a)I don’t think Chavez instituted a gun control or ban policy in fact one of the main criticisms against Chavez in the last election was the high crime rate in Venezuela and is pretty notorious for having lots of guns.
You would probably know about that better than me.
b)Nazis did not start the Reichstag fire as a false flag or confiscate guns.
Historian David Irving retrieved Goebbels dairy from the Moscow archives where he remarked that he and Hitler were surprised by the fire but used it as a pretext to draft in security laws like every other western country after 9/11.
“David Irving comments:
I ONCE wrote, “To historians and lawyers is allowed what even the Gods are denied – to change what has already happened.”
There is in fact zero debate now among real historians about the Reichstag Fire — ever since June 1992, when I brought back from the KGB archives in Moscow the entry in the Joseph Goebbels diary relating to that 1933 night, which confirmed other people’s accounts that both he and Adolf Hitler (who was with him) were taken by surprise by the conflagration and rushed downtown to see it: see the excerpt from my book “Goebbels. Mastermind of the Third Reich” below.”

Gun control laws were implemented under the Weimar regime 1928 when in the chaos of after WW1 and foreign reparation payments they tried to retain some sort of order and stop a possible armed coup like in Russia although I think they did extend it in 38.
Agreed on Jones. I simply can’t listen to either him or Ventura for more than a minute or two at a time.
I neither trust nor rate him on 911 because he studiously minimises – even ridicules – any suggestion of Zionist involvement. It’s simply and obviously taboo territory for him which should tell you all you need to know about him.
And his rant on the 2nd ammendment plays right into the hands of the abolition lobby – I doubt he sees it that way himself though.
“When he shrieks that Mao, Chavez and Castro took guns away from their population or when he says that civilians armed with semi-automatic guns could prevent a despot from coming to power, he is clearing aiming his message at those whose only form of “education” is sitting in front of a TV (anybody else would only listen to such crap with a mix of amazement and disgust).”
Let me start off by saying that I like guns. I was raised around them. Apart from hamburger, I probably ate more venison than beef before I was a teen.
That said, from what I have seen of the buyers of semiautomatic rifles with large-capacity magazines, I can only conclude that a large majority of them would make enthusiastic Brownshirts. The idea that this sort would form an opposition to tyranny in this country is laughable on its face.
I have regarded Alex Jones as unreliable for at least a decade, for a number of reasons.
First, (like Noam Chomsky, Ellen Goodman, and many others) he won’t talk honestly about Israel.
Second, he clearly has a big money-making operation going. If he were really telling truths that the PTB don’t want told, how long do you think his operation would be on the air?
Finally, he is clearly a demagogue. that has been obvious for a long time. He is a lot like Rush Limbaugh in that respect. He deliberately pushes emotional buttons.
Now, none of this is “proof” that he is a paid Federal agent, a la Hal Turner. He may simply be a mentally unbalanced agitator, who is simply being given all the rope he needs to hang himself publicly. The effect is the same.
We need to remember, that when political movements to fight rampant injustice get organized, they tend to attract a lot of disturbed and marginal people who look to these movements to fill an empty hole in their souls. The PTB (or “dominant minority” as Toynbee would call them) do not need a great many explicit counterintelligence “assets” to derail a political movement. All they need do, is identify and encourage the nut cases, and let events take their course from there.
” We need to remember, that when political movements to fight rampant injustice get organized, they tend to attract a lot of disturbed and marginal people who look to these movements to fill an empty hole in their souls”
Very true. I’m bipolar and potentially one such.
Unlikely that Jones is deliberately working for Uncle Sam but the net effect of his rants benefits the establishment.
Alex again on a mad rant to the Huffington Post.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynQD4wNuq1U
Problem is he takes legitimate things like banks and off shore banking and mixes it up with Eugenics, Agenda 21, vaccines, etc.
You are not going to like what I am going to say next but like all the over the top conspiracy theories they base their central idea on the establishment and British government agent during WW2 at least and Fabien society member George Orwell’s 1984 propaganda BS.
@jack: oh boy, he is really into that kind of angry hysteria isn’t he? Notice how the anchorwoman says that this sounds like a WWF promo? LOL! She is right. Jesse Ventura anybody?
Cheers!
Wow. Every time I go looking for some incriminating evidence on Alex, I find myself looking at articles saying how uneducated the Alex’s fans are and how if he were speaking the truth that he would be squelched. How in denial are you people? If we aren’t allowed to speak the truth about what our leaders our doing, is that not tyranny? Meanwhile there are grammatical errors all over the article and comments which makes it clear (at least to me) who the uneducated ones are. Also, it doesn’t help your argument when you admit that the government lies to you, and then use “historical” examples which come from the books they wrote for you. Hello! You’re going to have to read some real history not told by the victor too, if you want a semi-accurate grasp on what actually happened. I would also like to point out that it is natural to have emotion and passion about things you care about. If you care about your family, than I would assume that you take precautions as to make sure they remain safe. One example of keeping your family safe is making sure they don’t eat genetically modified foods (as well as artificial ingredients, pesticides, herbicides etc…). When you wake up and put two and two together (bug+GMO=sick/dead bug human+GMO=sick/dead human), you will come to the realization that this stuff is being forced into everything by giant corporations that would stop at nothing to ensure their monopoly on a resource that humans need! But that’s just another one of Alex’s conspiracy theories! I guess we should just keep drinking our sodium-fluoride(which is why you call Poison Control Center if you swallow toothpaste) and keep on screaming “THE GOVERNMENT LOVES ME!!”, without question. And if my comment doesn’t fit the blog authors standards for post-able material, than I will know what planet this website exists on. Planet Bias!!!!
I totally agree with you anonymous !^^ if only these blind fools would wake up and realize we are slowly being enslaved !
Strange that you think that Putin and his minions were “democratically” elected, when even the Russian people demonstrated for days about the results of the election. They even think he is a dictator.
Good to know which side you stand on. Why not just get on the next plane to Moscow and go live where there is “real freedom” that you think exists.
Stupid human….
@Stupid human…:even the Russian people demonstrated for days about the results of the election
Some did. Have you ever tried to find out how many?
They even think he is a dictator.
Some do indeed. Those whose Western-paid candidates could not even make it into the Duma. Something in the range of 1%-1,5% But “the Russian people” “they” do not, as a block, or even as a majority, or plurality, think any of the nonsense you parrot from the Western corporate media.
Good to know which side you stand on
And which side would that be?
Why not just get on the next plane to Moscow and go live where there is “real freedom” that you think exists.
Is that your rendition of “The USA – love it or leave it”?
Pretty sure the author is saying that while he agrees with much of the things Jones talks about, the way in which he delivers the information is reckless and detrimental to the cause.
You guys are getting WAY too defensive over this… Alex Jones is like the textbook definition of cointelpro.
I find this all extremely confusing which I think is the desired affect by somebody, I wish I knew who that is, though I guess that doesn’t really matter, divide and conquer seems appropriate here. I have learned a lot from the A Jones website, without that initial source I would still be very naive about how the world works, and until just recently I had no cause to doubt A Jones’ message. That’s the part I don’t get; if he is part of some controlling cointel thing, why bother? If there was no A Jones millions of people would still be asleep/ignorant, or is the role he plays to locate those with the ability to figure out what is going on for something that is coming? Is that one conspiracy too far?
Ah…. this is an oldie-but-goodie post. Very, very interesting to read your take on AJ, Saker. I sometimes find it hard to separate the spooks from the (multitudes of what we call in the USA) “useful idiots.” Whatever the case, the aesthetics of being shouted on a shortwave radio at for three hours at a time wore thin for me a long time ago. Thanks for this observation, it’s as relevant as ever (and AJ is still doing the same old schtick! Like any “comedian”, he really needs some new material!). Did you ever hear the episode when he had Gore Vidal as a guest, and Vidal (not in his best mood, but still funny as hell) made AJ look like a complete dope? I have it on tape somewhere. I’ve heard AJ since the old shortwave days, blossoming (?) into the multi media whatever-he-is now that, what can we say… he excels at spewing octopus ink, making clear waters murkier. He doesn’t appeal to the listener’s reason — no one can reason, being shouted at like that. He also is quite aware who his audience is, and knows which issues to cover and which ones not… a tricky public persona, to be sure. This is one of the reasons that I urge you to keep up the podcasts — we need better voices on the radio; hell, we need gentlemen and thinkers on the radio — people who make us think and reason, not rage and hate. ‘Nuff said! Skol.
Finally I encounter someone who understands the double reverse psy ops disnformation tactic of hiding the truth in plain sight and denigrating it by association and delivery. You can’t disprove the truth with science, because what is true is supported by science. So in order to make the truth repugnant and unacceptable, you either have it delivered like a carnival barking clown, couple it with other obvious and ridiculous falsehoods which undermine it by way of association, or fog it over with emotion such as “how dare you talk about those twers/that school….my uncle/little children died there!!!”
Now to additionally emphasis the outrageous nature of truth in plain sight, you cause a stir with very public debates of the messenger being censured or sued, making the intentionally simulated lunacy all the more prominent.
Another tactic is to tell certain truths in entertainment, like TV’s “X-Files” or the movies’ “Caprorn One” ( about a faked moon landing ), and then when a viewer references a certain bit of what was depicted within, and, in fact, what actually happened in real life, they are rebutted and scorned with “You know, that’s just a TV show/movie; you don’t think that’s real do you?”
Intelligence operations have myriad “assets” in media and entertainment, and aside from promoting glorified or false versions of history or contemporary reality, will use their connections to discredit the truth in order to make those who see through the lies seem like tin foil hat wearing crazies. Once a person begins to see through this method of disinformation, it all becomes very simple.
