A number of articles in the alternative media have put forth generalized arguments that the unipolar moment of the American Empire is unraveling, to be supplanted by a multipolar world. Here are two current articles, and a third that’s a few months old—all from mainstream media—that provide some of the details supporting that thesis. It doesn’t matter if you approve or disapprove—this is what’s happening.
The first article is Der Spiegel’s interview with former German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer, regarding President Trump’s pulling the U.S. out of the Iran agreement. This is one top diplomat who is plain-spoken and blunt:
“The aim of the agreement was to prevent a second disaster after the Iraq War, namely a large-scale land war in Iran. After the Iraq War, the Iranians tried in vain to divide Europe and the United States. Donald Trump has now managed to do just that.”
On Trump’s Walrus:
“DER SPIEGEL: His national security adviser John Bolton wrote …
Fischer: Enough with Bolton!
DER SPIEGEL: You remember Bolton from your time as foreign minister.
Fischer: I know him very well. He is one of the people responsible for the Iraq disaster.
DER SPIEGEL: Bolton once wrote: “To stop Iran’s bomb, bomb Iran.”
Fischer: Bolton has only one answer to everything: bombing.”
Also:
“DER SPIEGEL: So, is Trump right when he asks the Germans to spend more on the military?
Fischer: It isn’t about Trump. Hillary Clinton would have been just as critical of this as president. We have to do it for ourselves. We have been investing too little in our security for years. What are the things I’ve read within the past week? German armed forces pilots are losing their licenses because they cannot fly enough hours due to helicopter deficiencies. Submarines cannot sail because spare parts are missing. We only have four combat-ready Eurofighters. What a shame! If you ask me whether we can defend ourselves, the clear answer is no.”
And the need for closer relations with Russia is “palpable.” Fischer adds that he doesn’t believe in “submission” to Russia (he is, after all, a German) but rather that “we should strive for a good relationship with Russia.”
For more on one of the major geopolitical factors affecting German-Russian relations, see the Bloomberg article from last summer: “Germany Is Addicted to Russian Gas.”
Germany is the powerhouse of Europe, of course, and already gets 40% of its natural gas from Russia. This will soon increase to more than 50%. And the pipeline goes under the Baltic Sea, thus not subject to international political pressures as with the land-based Ukrainian pipeline.
My take-home impression: If this Der Spiegel interview is any indication, expect a much more independent [from the U.S.] Europe, and closer relations between Europe and Russia. Then there is the relationship between Europe and China (see the third article).
It seems Germany is not only more and more dependent on Russia for natural gas, its economy “has grown dependent on China.” At first glance that may seem a bit alarmist, but the details are fascinating. You will learn about the exact German terminus of the New Silk Road and its significance, as well as the 10 major fields China intends to dominate.
The power of China is most notable in Germany’s premiere industry: automobiles. Not only is China manufacturing its own models, with an emphasis on dominating the electric-car market; it offers “huge profit margins for automobile manufacturers that are up to twice as high as elsewhere in the world. And it has led to an increasing dependency on the Chinese market: Daimler now earns 20 percent of its profits in the country, BMW 28 percent and VW fully 43 percent. Company bean counters refer to such a situation as a ‘concentration risk.’”
Bottom line: The days of the American Empire’s unipolar control of the world is over. The D.C. Swamp will fight that, but the development has already gone too far to be reversed. The new world order consists of four power blocs: America, China, Russia, and Europe. The only question is whether this transition can continue without a World War III.
David Franke was one of the original founders of the conservative movement in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Germany will pay.*
Some politician b!tching about it in an interview won’t change a thing.
*pay in money or blood.
If the Empire can bomb Syria, why not Western EU countries as well?
Who’s gonna stop them? Drunken Junkers? LOL…
Correction: Not 4 power blocs, only three power blocs. America, Russia+China, Europe.
Europe is NOT a power block !
Europe is not a power bloc but rather an economic bloc that will fragment in case of a major catastrophe, say another world war. They are tied in the apron to America, I have no doubt that we are in a multi polar era but Washington won’t let go of Euro-Atlantic integration without a bloody orgy.
No, Europe is a ragbag collection of cringing, grovelling, obsequious, contemptible, bought and paid for, Washington satraps.
Russisk and China is not a block. They have some shared interest, but they also have diverging interests. They will not operate as closely united as NATO, but will tend to support each other when there are no conflicts of interests.
They will re start the war in in the Donbass(mid june, their last opportunity before the WCup) to have a new pretext to calm down their EU vassals and they will surrender once again. Then new sanctions will follow as usual(is there anything left to be sanctionned?).Today it was MH 17 all over again to perturbate the Putin-Macron summit.
The EU(a US creation)is a firewall to be used to avoid or delay the US/USD collapse. The US is now officialy the 4th Reich.
Washington wants to make its EU counterparts impose more sanctions on Russia, but EU leaders appear reluctant, the Financial Times reports.

Joschka Fischer, by the way, is the war criminal scum who was too eager to tell the lie about Serbian concentration camps back in 98/99, he lied Germany into the first war/war of aggression since 45.
He “served” under chancellor Gerhard Schröder, who was put in power by Washington for the purpose of assisting in the illegal war on Serbia,
because Helmut Kohl would not have done this. That’s what real “meddling” looks like. Clinton sent his PR advisors along with millions of dollars to get this done, and did.
Joschka Fischer: A peacenik goes to war (article in NY Times, 1999)
During the course of the 1990s, Fischer was instrumental to swaying his pacifist party to
support Germany’s participation in the NATO-led war against Slobodan Milosevic’s
Yugoslavia. It is an irony of history that Germany’s first-ever Green foreign minister took the
nation to war for the first time since World War II,
…and it was for the third time in the XX century that Germans came to Serbia to kill and maim innocent civilian population
Joschka Fisher has no credibility whatsoever. If he claims that Bolton is ‘one of the people responsible for Iraq disaster’, he obviously has very short or very selective memory when it comes to responsibility for bombing Serbia ‘in stone age’
There are legions of these old leftists turned born again Neocons.
People like Aaronovitch in the media.
The Labour Party is stuffed full of them.
Just itching to start wars against Johnny Russian and Johnny Syrian and stab Corbyn in the back.
The US Neocons are all Trotskyists turned rabid warmongers.
Mark, the neo-cons are mostly former Trots, and overwhelmingly current, former and, no doubt future, Jewish Zionists. And many were acolytes of the sinister eminence grease, Leo Strauss.
Der Spiegel = CIA
Joschka Fischer = CIA
John Bolten = CIA
Donald Trump = CIA
CIA = just one out of a million Jewish Mafia assets.
Fischer was German Foreign Minister in 2006, as Israel bombed Lebanon to rubble. Fischer was not too worried about those darling Zionazis having some traditional fun, but when Hezbollah rockets hit Haifa, he got really agitated. ‘A ‘Red line has been crossed’, he barked, to his Zionazi Bosses’ delight. The ‘two-legged animals’ have dared to fight back! Such ‘antisemitism’!!!
in my experience Germans are strange, fearful, slavish, repressed unfriendly people. I am from Serbia and I spent a few months there a couple of years ago. They are not that bright, obsessed with work and saving (but they then invest those savings with criminal Wall St toxic derivatives) . Food is crap there. And their products are very overrated (I had a Mercedes SLK and was quite disappointed with it. The same with everything else German I bought in last decade or so. And let’s not forget how much they lied about their exhaust data – not a little bit but they exaggerated by 1000% or so. Very revealing of their national character I think
this is what an old friend who works for EU gvt in Berlin told me about their companies recently:
Take a big company, say mercedes. The staff on old contracts get paid many many times more than staff who are hired via an agency. The agency staff are not hired by mercedes so work in a fenced off part. Not allowed to eat in the canteen, not allowed to use the facilities, not allowed to go close to the mercedes staff, fired and hired daily (zero protection) as they are not mercedes staff. People don’t know this. Germany has many very low paid workers. One of the reasons they are so competitive.
This article is short and very precise. In a few paragraphs everything has been said. Yes, Wall Street will fight to maintain its global empire and will lose. It can only “win” if crazies on wall Street have their way and instigate World War Three. Apparently there are some “experts” in New York who think that the US can win a nuclear war with “minimal” loses to the country. These “experts” obviously got their training watching Hollywood propaganda movies.
Yes, the world does consist of four blocks, Russia, China, the US and Europe. However, time will tell if Europe will consist of the EU or if sovereign European states will be reinstated.
Finally, it’s only a matter of time before Europe turns towards the East. It’s inevitable, and Washington knows it. It will try and prevent it. We shall see how.
The new political situation in Italy may lead to widen the cracks of the European Union. The minions (aka politicians) of the money changers are already in uproar.
Well, the Washington Examiner is pretty convinced that the US “can” win a nuclear war against Russia!
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/dont-worry-the-us-would-win-a-nuclear-war-with-russia.
Authored by Tom Rogan (the same Tom Rogan who suggested that Ukraine bomb the new Crimean link bridge, to deter “Russian Aggression” or something).
Presumably the US Neocons are keen to return to the “Glory Days” post WW2, when all the US’s major competitors were in rubble. No competition meant unlimited profits to be made (at everyone else’s expense), and that mindset is till in place. One of the main reasons for Trump’s current attempt at Global economic warfare – along the clear lines of “we want to trade with you, but only on OUR terms”. Expecting others to buy “your” products on the open market (not Military tech – just consumer-level tech), then getting all upset when your customers decide to sell their end-product to a Country “the US doesn’t like” is beyond childish, but is the main reason for Trump’s attempt to bankrupt ZTE.
Clearly Rogan is a typical Thanatopian psychopath, if an extreme specimen. He says nothing regarding Russian defences, nor of the weapons outlined by Putin recently. Perhaps they frighten him in his ‘Exceptionalist’ fantasies. As well, he seems to ignore, or is ignorant of, or is denying, as numerous US psychopaths seem to be doing lately, the nuclear winter, that even a small thermo-nuclear exchange would cause. A full war between Russia and the USA (bound to be the aggressor) would cause a winter lasting decades, and the end of humanity, the not so secret goal of psychopaths like Rogan.
… former German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer, … This is one top diplomat who is plain-spoken and blunt:
Joschka Fischer been in office when Germany participated in the bombing campaign of Serbia. He’s far from being a “top diplomat” (at least if you equate the word top with excellent). Maybe it would be better to skip such attributes or to use more specific ones like high ranking in order to avoid any misunderstanding.
After the Iraq War, the Iranians tried in vain to divide Europe and the United States.
Instead of simply speaking out against the actual foreign policy of the US Joschka Fischer simultaneously tries to bash Iran as well. I don’t remember to have heard any such news in the past.
German armed forces pilots are losing their licenses … If you ask me whether we can defend ourselves, the clear answer is no.
That’s pure propaganda in order to push for a militarily strong Europe / Germany. Some of European / German elites dream of taking over the task of being and Empire.
Then there is the relationship between Europe and China (see the third article).
German politicians aren’t fond of China. You’ll encounter lots of articles dealing with topics of Chinese steel companies undermining German prices or criticizing Chinese investor HNA (while simultaneously being silent when it comes to BlackRock).
He says that Germany needs to spend more on defense. To defend against what? Not a word about telling the Yanks to close their bases since WWII was over long ago and Germany and Russia are achieving symbiosis, Germany get good gas, Russia gets good money, and let the past be past.
The only thing Germany needs to defend is its sovereignty, and Russia is not a threat that way.
Finally, Fischer started out with the Greens, who have apparently sold out. For them to have supported the destruction of Syria is inexcusable. War isn’t good for the environment, nicht wahr?
Exactly.
The Russian Federation has zero interest in invading Poiand, or the Latvian states. But they do care about defending their state, Hence Crimea, hence ‘Novo-Russia’, against a blatantly bigoted Ukraine under a deeply unpopular Poroschenko.
Also Syria, since they could see Islamic fuck-heads thundering up through the Caucasus all over again.
No. Not going to happen. No more colour revolutions.
Here’s some more articles about Germany and its resurgent militarism:
The Germans are inexorably moving to resurrect a 21st-century Wehrmacht in all but name.

A more accurate headline would be:
‘Team Soros’ Globalist Empire is Unravelling.
Both Russia and the U.S. are winning.
RT (linked to the Russian government) is headlining stories about the EU’s inability to bypass sanctions (1). Also, France and Russia just agreed to a major energy project that replaces the one France’s Total has ended in Iran (2).
Russia is distancing itself from Iran. This goes in the win column for the current U.S. Administration regardless of Putin’s underlying reasons for downgrading cooperation with Tehran.
Russia is gaining investors and support for several major hydrocarbon projects. Most critical is the the Nord Stream effort that bypasses the ‘pro-Soros’ keystone nations of Turkey and Ukraine.
Hopefully, the U.S. and Russia will continue to move closer to each other over time.

The problem for Germany is the journalists are in the pay of the CIA and if other countries experience holds true for Germany, the top ranks of the BND are on CIA payroll. probably have blackmail info on them. That is the way the P2 Masonic Lodge of Operation Gladio rolled so I imagine it is the same now. This will make it very hard for them to break free of US control if their media and top Intel people are lackeys of Washington.
It’s been like this for decades. Baader Meinhof and Red Brigades were just Gladio fronts.
A few of them probably were genuine, but this still begs the question who had been pulling the strings behind the scenes. A few years ago I had seen an interview with someone (sadly i’ve forgotten the name) who had witnessed these times close to the terrorists. In this interview he stated that the guy who got them weapons and ammunition had worked with German authorities (secret service / BND). Those authorities had been the ones who provided weapons and ammunition. To sum it up: In some cases organizations like Gladio are behind terrorist activities, in other cases secret services (and / or Gladio) are able to find useful idiots to do their dirty work.
The problem for Germany is the journalists are in the pay of the CIA …
The whole situation seems to be way more complex. It’s not just journalists on the payroll of the CIA (many probably are). You’ve got editors as well. If the editor doesn’t want an article to be published it’s scrapped. It’s quite questionable if editors are permitted to decide freely which articles are to be published. There’s still the owner of the newspaper (radio station or tv station). Since at least newspapers heavily depend on revenues from ads, they can be pressured by large companies. You’ve got lots of areas to put pressure onto media and I’m sure all of them are used. Media business changed over the course of years. In the past a multitude of publishers existed. Thanks to mergers the number of companies decreased. The problem gets even bigger if you consider that German publishing houses own lots of national / international magazines. (If I remember correctly, then 40% of Spanish magazines are owned by German publishing companies like Bertelsmann or Springer).
Here’s the problem with ‘democracy’, at least in my country (Australia)
It’s a duopoly One side or the other is always going to win. Neither of which dares to disagree with their Lord and Master, the glorious US of A.
In Australia, you are required by law to vote. I will not, because there is no democracy in Australia. since neither of the owners of ‘democracy’ represent my opinions.
I also note that in the US of A. generally only half the citizens can be bothered to vote, as they have no legal requirement to vote. Does that mean only half the people care about some system called democracy?’
My point is, although the US of A declares itself to be the beacon of ‘freedom and democracy’, generally, their president only represents a quarter of their citizens.
Because only half of them bother to vote, and barely half of those declare for one person.
Is that democracy?
(Which I think is a joke. it’s owned by stupid partisan politics
Democracy my ass – this is from Paul Craig Roberts:
• The government in Washington can, on suspicion alone without presentation to a court of evidence and conviction, confine US citizens indefinitely, torturing them the entire time, and can assassinate them at will without due process of law. This is the definition of a total police state tyranny. Yet Washington represents America as a “great democracy,” whose endless wars against humanity are “bringing democracy to the world.”
the US of AIPAC has been a totalitarian shithole for ages
Austfailure is a perfect example of ‘Democracy without choices’. Years ago I began searching in vain for any decent, rational, intelligent or human individual in Austfailian politics, with the last seemingly the great BO Jones, the polymath and humanist. However, today, particularly in the further Right parties, the ‘Liberals’ and ‘Nationals’ and the various splinter groups, I find it hard to identify any who are not psychopaths, many quite maniacally so. The Federal Turnbull regime, in particular, is populated by little pustules of hatred, class, race, gender, generational etc, in semi-human form. One really wonders if it can become any more deranged and Evil, but they over-achieve, generation after generation.
Actually to vote is a legally contract.
When you vote, you first document who you are to the election officials who line out you name and address on the voting lists.
Hereafter you get a voting paper and go in the box and make a X.
If you remember in the old days when a man took work on a ship but couldnt write or read, he signed the contract with the ship with a X. Its the same you do when you vote.
After you leave the voting box, the election committee sends all voting lists into the Interior and the Justice Department.
Here they register who signed off the contract of giving all their personal, economic, family power to an idiot in the government.
The good part of it is that you hereafter dont have to decide on anything yourself but as an under aged child with new parents, you can now leave it to cry for more pocket money from the Government………………………………LMAOL.
This guy Fisher does not deserve the credit given in this article. He shows this old “trauma” against Russia. From the interview:” “Fischer adds that he doesn’t believe in “submission” to Russia (he is, after all, a German)” When was Russia trying to submit Germany was not the other way around?. Who keeps Germany submitted right now? Why he does not mention the US? Why does Germany need a strong millitary? Who is threatening Germany? He appears to me at least unreliable.
Don’t agree with the Bottomline.
“Bottom line: The days of the American Empire’s unipolar control of the world is over. The D.C. Swamp will fight that, but the development has already gone too far to be reversed. The new world order consists of four power blocs: America, China, Russia, and Europe. The only question is whether this transition can continue without a World War III.”
It will be most likely a bi-polar world order: Western block, US, Anglos-Europe + Russia and the opposing Eastern block, China, Japan, South-eastern countries like United Korea,Indonesia, Malesia, Iran, India and Pakistan etc. Middle east will be partitioned, so will Africa and South America among east and west.
The western block will be further divided among powerful oligarchic clans like Rockefeller and Rothschild. The eastern block will be shared between eastern oligarchic clans.
Russia is firmly on the western side proved by latest developments. Russia will continue doing trade with the eastern block but under the auspices of the western elite. Russia will not be allowed to become a superpower again.
I agree with that. Russia is in the same situation as Erdogan/Turkey.
They both tried everything to get into the Western Elite, licking boots on EU Leaders since the beginning of 1990, trying with appeasement of all US Presidents since Bush.
They both finally gave up and turned to the alternative East, but as we see, they are shining all over their faces at the first opening and cracks in the Western alliances, hoping and hoping and hoping “to be friends with the Americans and getting Europe”.
