Russia –-(Ammoland.com)- These days, there are few few things to admire about the socialist, bankrupt and culturally degenerating USA, but at least so far, one thing remains: the right to bare arms and use deadly force to defend one’s self and possessions.
This will probably come as a total shock to most of my Western readers, but at one point, Russia was one of the most heavily armed societies on earth. This was, of course, when we were free under the Tsar. Weapons, from swords and spears to pistols, rifles and shotguns were everywhere, common items. People carried them concealed, they carried them holstered. Fighting knives were a prominent part of many traditional attires and those little tubes criss crossing on the costumes of Cossacks and various Caucasian peoples? Well those are bullet holders for rifles.
Various armies, such as the Poles, during the Смута (Times of Troubles), or Napoleon, or the Germans even as the Tsarist state collapsed under the weight of WW1 and Wall Street monies, found that holding Russian lands was much much harder than taking them and taking was no easy walk in the park but a blood bath all its own. In holding, one faced an extremely well armed and aggressive population Hell bent on exterminating or driving out the aggressor.
This well armed population was what allowed the various White factions to rise up, no matter how disorganized politically and militarily they were in 1918 and wage a savage civil war against the Reds. It should be noted that many of these armies were armed peasants, villagers, farmers and merchants, protecting their own. If it had not been for Washington’s clandestine support of and for the Reds, history would have gone quite differently.
Moscow fell, for example, not from a lack of weapons to defend it, but from the lieing guile of the Reds. Ten thousand Reds took Moscow and were opposed only by some few hundreds of officer cadets and their instructors. Even then the battle was fierce and losses high. However, in the city alone, at that time, lived over 30,000 military officers (both active and retired), all with their own issued weapons and ammunition, plus tens of thousands of other citizens who were armed. The Soviets promised to leave them all alone if they did not intervene.
They did not and for that were asked afterwards to come register themselves and their weapons: where they were promptly shot.
Of course being savages, murderers and liars does not mean being stupid and the Reds learned from their Civil War experience. One of the first things they did was to disarm the population. From that point, mass repression, mass arrests, mass deportations, mass murder, mass starvation were all a safe game for the powers that were. The worst they had to fear was a pitchfork in the guts or a knife in the back or the occasional hunting rifle. Not much for soldiers.
To this day, with the Soviet Union now dead 21 years, with a whole generation born and raised to adulthood without the SU, we are still denied our basic and traditional rights to self defense. Why? We are told that everyone would just start shooting each other and crime would be everywhere….but criminals are still armed and still murdering and to often, especially in the far regions, those criminals wear the uniforms of the police. The fact that everyone would start shooting is also laughable when statistics are examined.
While President Putin pushes through reforms, the local authorities, especially in our vast hinterland, do not feel they need to act like they work for the people. They do as they please, a tyrannical class who knows they have absolutely nothing to fear from a relatively unarmed population. This in turn breeds not respect but absolute contempt and often enough, criminal abuse.
For those of us fighting for our traditional rights, the USA’s “2nd Amendment” is a rare light in an ever darkening room. Governments will use the excuse of trying to protect the people from maniacs and crime, but are in reality, it is the bureaucrats protecting their power and position. In all cases where guns are banned, gun crime continues and often increases. As for maniacs, be it nuts with cars (NYC, Chapel Hill NC), swords (Japan), knives (China) or home made bombs (everywhere), insane people strike. They throw acid (Pakistan, UK), they throw fire bombs (France), they attack. What is worse, is, that the best way to stop a maniac is not psychology or jail or “talking to them”, it is a bullet in the head, that is why they are a maniac, because they are incapable of living in reality or stopping themselves.
The excuse that people will start shooting each other is also plain and silly. So it is our politicians saying that our society is full of incapable adolescents who can never be trusted? Then, please explain how we can trust them or the police, who themselves grew up and came from the same culture?
No it is about power and a total power over the people. There is a lot of desire to bad mouth the Tsar, particularly by the Communists, who claim he was a tyrant, and yet under him we were armed and under the progressives disarmed.
Do not be fooled by a belief that progressives, leftists hate guns. Oh, no, they do not. What they hate is guns in the hands of those who are not marching in lock step of their ideology. They hate guns in the hands of those who think for themselves and do not obey without question. They hate guns in those whom they have slated for a barrel to the back of the ear.
So, Americans listen up, do not fall for the false promises and do not extinguish the light that is left to allow humanity a measure of self respect.

This article needs to been read by every Palestinian to understand why they have been suffering under brutal occupation for nearly 70 years by the Zionist government of Israel.
Oh suffering Palestine, find a way to freedom. Seek the courage to plan and coordinate between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank to overthrow the oppressors. Do it quietly, but do it for your dignity as an indigenous people who have the unalienable right to enjoy the fruits of your own land. Do it for your progeny, do it because God will help you if you pray to him for guidance. The holy spirit will bring into your mind a spark of intellect, hope and a leader who will emerge from the common people; you must have faith.

vt – the oligarch/bankers – who you can the zionists were backing Bolshevites in Russia and Nazis in Germany – Rothschilds were active – but I’m not sure it was the zionists at that point –
Do you believe in private property? Try not paying your taxes and you will find out who actually owns your property in the USA – not you.
Who is the largest employer, not even counting the military, in the USA? Government.
One sixth of Americans are sustained by government funds by some form of welfare or other.
USA government gives funding, tax breaks, and other incentives to companies the government has chosen to promote over others.
((Criminals)) in the banking syndicates are given trillions of taxpayer funds when they make bad bets while the plebs must suffer.
The largest non-governmental employer in USA would go bankrupt in a month if not for welfare recipient spending at its stores (Walmart).
How is this like the free country USA used to be? How is this not a socialist country compared to the principles of rule of law and a free market economy free of coercion by individuals and government?
You have a very good case to sue your educators for malfeasance if you are at this point in your life and not understanding that USA is socialist.
Seriously? I will never understand the american fascination with firearms. Eah, it makes you feel powerful, in control. But the idea that the general population can be trusted with devices, the sole purpose of which is the extermination of your fellow man seems ludicrous to me. Its part of the reason for police violence in america, because the cops fear that every idiot in the neighborhood has at least a pistol. I personally am very grateful that in russia very few people have guns, if I get mugged on the street at least I can run away. And the “bad guys” will alway be better equipped than the average citizen, will be better with the weapon, because for them it’s their job. Better armed criminals will lead to better armed and more aggressive police, etc. Nothing good will come out of it. And you cant fight the government with pistols and shotguns.
Yes, it makes it more difficult to conquer an armed population. But it also makes keeping the peace much more difficult. I mean look at US armed criminal stats, and then look at dozens of dash cam videos from russia depicting road rage fights. And then imagine that instead of axes and baseball bats those idiots would use semi- or even fully automatic weapons.
By the way, you can get a permit for shotguns or even this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saiga-12
The historic reference is also not very informative. That was a time when automatic or even semi-automatic weapons didnt exist, and it wasnt that much of a problem.
I mean look at europe. Before their leaders allowed hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants they were perfectly fine without weapons.
Again speaking as a russian: No we dont need guns, we have enough problems as it is, thank you very much.
Ok, I read the full article. You cant fight the organized government. You have a pistol, they have assault rifles. You get an AR, they get mashineguns, etc. If you try to make the local bureaucracy fulfill its duties at gunpiont, they will get a very good reason to call the cops and have you killed while resisting arrest. If you stage unarmed protests, they send riot police, people get beaten. If you stage armed insurrection, they send in the army, you’ll get a bloodbath. It’s much more difficult to convince your troops to shoot at unarmed protestors, than it is to convince them to put down mobs of angry armed “thugs”(whether they are thugs or not), who threaten the peace.
In eastern ukraine people were able to resist the maidan forces, because the first thing they did was to raid local army and civil defense storage facilities. That can be done without guns, if there are enough people, and especially if the local police is on the side of the population.
Protecting the life and property is the job of the police, that is the very reason they exist in the first place. If they dont do their job properly, try to fix that, dont try to be the police yourself.
I served in russian army in 2011, I was 22, most of my unit was 18 or so. They were by no means mature adults. If they were trusted with guns in civilian life, people would get hurt real fast.
And with the very outdated laws on “non-lethal” firearms (травматическое оружие) we hear every day that some idiot decided he was cool and tough now and pulled a “traumatic pistol” and shot a driver he was supposedly offended by on the road in the head a couple of times with predictable results. I fully support the efforts to enforce gun laws in my country. What americans do with their guns is up to them off course.
And there is the argument “if we take the guns the criminals would use knives, bombs, acid, etc…”
Yes, some would. But much less of them would use all those devices, and much less effectively. Because there is a reason why primary infantry weapon has been rifles for at least a 100 years. Guns are the most efficient tool for killing. This is the purpose of guns.
Americans have guns because the Founding Fathers recognized the right of every man to determine his own fate. You do not. You choose to let others determine your fate based on their good graces, or not.
If a murderer broke into your home and took a knife to your children would you wait for the police or would you use anything at hand to defend your blood? Of course you would. You would probably die doing it too.
Of course that scenario may never happen. But if it does, I will shoot the intruder. Your children will die. It is that simple.
Trying to say the government has better guns is a false argument. No soldier is truly bullet proof and machine guns are far less accurate than semi-automatic rifles employed with aimed fire. No soldier’s family is immune to retaliation for crimes of the soldier against his fellow citizens. The US has a million and a half soldiers. The Remington 700 has been sold over 5 million times and is able to kill at 1,000 meters.
The world’s largest army is not in uniform. It is in blue jeans and tshirts and it walks the streets of thousands of cities everyday. On that note, the cities in America with the strictest gun laws are also the ones most vulnerable to armed criminals.
Mixing gun control with the second amendment is like mixing socialism with capitalism – the results will be deficient and leave both sides wanting for lack of positive results.
Finally, when life and death are seconds apart, the police are just minutes away.
First off, I’d like to say I am in basic agreement with you, The right to defend life follows from the right to life itself. So everyone has an inherent right to personal self defense and the weapons necessary for such.
The Second Amendment, has only a peripheral relation to this. It is about the people’s right to keep and bear Arms. Arms are the weapons needed to wage war, (of course this includes personal weapons, but it is not the focus). When the second amendment was written the colonials had just defeated an overlord nation with (among other things) personally owned field artillery and warships. The Second Amendment was written in an attempt to preserve this condition and to prevent the establishment of a Federal standing army. Unfortunately, for USA and the world, it has failed
well, I’m taking my first gun safety course later this month. I got a feelin’ a feelin’ I can’t hide – oh no – I want to know how to protect myself and my loved ones. Even if it means dying for them.
“Free under the czar . . ?”
Throws all the rest of the article into very serious doubt.
Throws your post into serious doubt. You think Russia was free under Bolsheviks or that the USA is free under your two-party, Three-Dynasty rotating dictatorship. You are free only as long as you remain unnoticed. Something the US people have learned so well that they have become a nation of cowardly, angry clowns.
I HAD a friend once who was Jewish and Western and she said: “How could Russians not have fought back against Lenin and the Bolsheviks?” God may forgive such ignorance. I have been unable to.
Obviously. The bandera freak show comes from the same pov.
I don’t think Russians felt oppressed under the Czar buddy – you may be confused by Russian history but Russia was very much a part of Europe until the Czar fell – he was held hostage for a while before the revolution – years I think – but he was a great leader I think – his nobility betrayed him – Saker’s written a bit about it.
by his nobility I mean the oligarchs around him – they were scheming to undo him for years…perhaps nowadays they are called the Atlantacists – or something like that
Guns can be fun, like slings, knives, bows and arrows, trebuchets, spear throwers, boomerangs, and other things used for weapons. Also fast cars, hang gliders, and other dangerous things. Some people like guns for the technology and the skills involved.
Some of these things are tools: guns are important for farmers/homesteaders and woodsmen because one may encounter wild animals, or a horse with a broken leg, or a pig you need to slaughter. You don’t need a machine gun for that.
Cars are tools, and quite dangerous, despite people needing a license, and hopefully some training.
So there are are different classes of things which are dangerous which have no connection to either self-defense against other people, or revolution against an oppressive government, and we need to talk about such things differently,
With proper training a revolution can be accomplished without weapons at first, either peacefully, or using various objects as weapons, and taking the better weapons from those who have them — and with enough training even unarmed self defense against robbers can be done, but a well functioning society and police force is more efficient for that. The number one weapon for political revolution is consciousness and knowledge of the masses. “The most potent weapon of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed” _Steve Biko.
The tyrants in the US are not afraid of people with guns nearly as much as people on the internet who know to use it to wake themselves up.
“The tyrants in the US are not afraid of people with guns nearly as much as people on the internet who know to use it to wake themselves up.”
They’ve always feared rational independent thought. The people of the usa are some of the most indoctrinated on the planet. American society has been consciously engineered to be that way.
Amen.
Not much in history is as simple and as inarguable as that is.
I agree with the “Right to Bear Arms” und even more with the “Right to Arm Bears”
they need a chance too … LOL
We won’t. I believe most former confederacy states would rather secede than impose a gun ban on their citizens. To even consider the idea would likely lead to politicians swiftly being removed from office. There isn’t much that will upset the population of the former confederacy, but if you mess with God, Guns, or Football (the American variety), you’re asking for it. Attempting to tighten gun laws, I think, would expose Trump to even the most indoctrinated among us. Secession would become a very real possibility. If Texas were to secede, many states in this region would have to follow, or they would see a decline in their population from immigration to Texas.
People forget there’s a country in the middle of Europe that has a huge gun culture. The country that does guns right is Switzerland.
In fact, Switzerland has the third highest gun ownership rate in the world (behind Yemen and the United States)
The other side of the coin, though, is Swiss culture. The per capita rate for gun-related homicides in Switzerland is 3 per million. In the United States the number is 42 per million.
The Swiss system of requiring military-age men to be available for militia service and keep their rifle with them at home seems to work. It was major deterrent to the Germans invading in both WW1 and WW2. It also kept the French out in WW1 when they started talking about mounting a flanking operation against the Germans through Swiss territory.
It does not suffice if ordinary people just have guns. They had them in Tsarist Russia and the globalists (a.k.a. Bolsheviks supported by Wall Street bankers) took over nevertheless. They have them in the US of today and it’s still globalist Wall Street bankers who are in power. As it stands, guns, even assault guns, in the hands of the ordinary population have limited effect if you look at it politically. There is a more noticeable positive effect on the crime rate in areas where guns can be carried. But that’s secondary. If an armed population is to serve as a bulwark against socialist take-overs, then the playing field has to be more even between the people and the state. People must be organized in militias, these militias must be heavily armed, not just with assault-rifles but with armored personnel carriers, machine guns, anti-tank weapons, anti-air weapons and some sort of air support. These militias must fulfill every-day security duties so as to form a counterweight against the professional police. And that’s still not enough because the state and the banking system need be prevented from growing and growing within spheres that are not influenced by the population being armed. What have assault rifles done to prevent the federal Department of Education, staffed by communists, from gaining ever more influence over school curricula everywhere throughout the country? It ought to be a local matter to decide how pupils should be taught to. That’s just one example of very many. Don’t let the right to possess arms deceive you. It’s important but it also serves as a distraction from what’s really going on.
First people need to be armed with knowledge, including what socialism and communism really is about, and not the nonsense you are saying, which is fascism and authoritarianism.
Oh for f**** sake. And how have all those guns made any difference at all except to the murder rate? Politically? Nope. Except for pointless debates as the Empire fiddles, a perfect excuse for militarising the police, and big dollars for the corporations involved.
edited for language – mod.eo
Guns or no, if the government wants to militarize the police they will do just that. No guns means they will succeed. Guns means there is a chance they will not.
If you want to talk about the murder rate you should do so by looking at the circumstances.
1. Most murders happen in areas (cities) where the government has enacted draconian gun control so that the average lawabiding citizen is defenseless against both the government and the criminal elements who do not care about gun laws.
2. These areas tend to be populated by non-eurocentric populations and thusly both the victims and the murderers tend to be of the same.
3. These peoples tend to favor socialism and just about every other form of centralized control – they pass off responsibility for their own well being and safety to some higher earthly authority to take care of them and tell them what to do and how to do it.
Areas where this mindset is not predominant have far lower rates of murders. Try a couple of experiments.
1. Take total murders in USA and remove those committed in largest 50 cities. What is the rate now?
2. Take total murders in USA and remove those committed in cities that have had Democrats for mayor and no other for the past 30 years. What is the rate now?
3. Compare the nationwide rate with that of states like Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine where you do not need a permit nor permission to own and carry a firearm. How does that look?
The fact is, murder is simply much more culturally acceptable with some groups of people and not others. People like you need to stop trying to disarm people like me because you think we are all equal. We are not. My culture is better and the statistics (you know, like, science bro) prove this.
The American people first need to understand who their real enemy is . At this point the majority are cheerleaders for the very people destroying not only the Christian Church, but the country itself. The “Neocons” in DC are the children, grandchildren and students of the Bolsheviks of 1917.
