To me it looks like a bomb has been put underneath the weight/service ramp, which has tipped the hanger, blown off all the branches on a near by tree as well as demonlished/burnt down a building next to the three.
You can still see the firetruck of the first responder in the drone picture, so it seems to have been the primary problem. Also saw a narrow tall fire on one picture when police had blocked of the site, maybe the tree burning ?
I admire Douglas MacGregor for his knowledge, his candor and his courage in spreading the truth.
I have a problem with one of his statements, though (at about 13:35), when he said that the communists, acting as defenders, had the NKVD executed one million soviet soldiers who refuse to fight during heavy battles.
My understanding is that this happened only with regular prisoners taken from jails to enroll in the army, not regular soldiers, and the number of killed was far less than one million.
This kind of statement, although well intentioned, does not provide a faithful picture of the incredible courage of the soldiers during WWII.
Maybe not a million, but as a policy this is absolutely true and not just for private soldiers. Stalin executed 300 generals for cowardice and incompetence just in the last three months of 1941. You can extrapolate the numbers down through the ranks. When your unit’s commissar tells you you may live if you fight but you will surely die if you do not that has a tremendous impact on bravery.
But McGregor went the “communist” route which can easily be answered and contrasted with the millions- upon- millions that capitalists have killed and still do.
Two wrongs don’t make a right.
I get really tired of the knee-jerk reaction many of my pro-Russian allies seem to have toward criticism of the crimes against humanity committed under Stalin.
It’s as if nobody’s read “The Black Book of Communism,” which, like it or not, is as factual as it is horrifying.
Let’s leave the lying and denying to the corporate cabal. Our service should be to TRUTH, including when it’s painful. Otherwise we’re just fanboys, like the shallow people who buy the “mainstream” narratives.
No groundswell of outrage in the USA that the neoNazi coke snorter almost dragged America into WWIII with a false flag that puts the Tonkin Incident to shame. Both chambers of congress will throw billions into Ukraine during the lame duck session.
“No groundswell of outrage in the USA that the neoNazi coke snorter almost dragged America into WWIII with a false flag that puts the Tonkin Incident to shame”.
So true….and why reality always confirms what American journalist H.L. Mencken (1880 to 1956) said, “Democracy is the pathetic belief in the collective wisdom of individual ignorance”.
Is it just me but this Colonel seemingly references American POV that obvious and almost like it’s ‘black propaganda’ where the his ‘radical’ perspective is simply OUR habit of allowing Americans confirm what is public record or that surprise surprise an American mildly ‘acknowledges’ his country’s weaknesses.
2 cases from the above:
In the exchange about whether anybody has been prosecuted for a war crime targeting military infrastructure, energy or command and control. The Colonel blithely (like Chomsky’s schtick) says that if those were apply to US then the US would have faced Nuremberg Trials a hundred times over? HUH? Enlightened Colonel went back to 1946 with some phony US process instead enlightening us as to ‘what is wrong with 170 yrs of built up legal traditions defining the rules for war and why is the US the only country in the world that doesn’t recognize international law?’
I would much rather HEAR this American military man’s confessions to his own criminal complicity in war crimes or as to WHY he (or this questionable American journalist whose as bad anyone on CNN, CNBC) is promoting! NOT explaining! why the US does not FOLLOW recognized international law let alone be subjected to INTERNATIONAL LAW, THE HAGUE or any other justice system. The US invented the Nuremberg process to avoid any appearance of endorsing international law by staging controlled ‘show trials’.
Seriously has anyone outside of America (that’s you non-American) that read opinions on sites like this, ever heard a actual critical discussion (even in their own country’s media) as why US sanctions are illegal, for instances.
(HINT: logic…and the preamble mission statements from First Geneva down US’s own UN charter, etc etc that states BLUNTLY that nations can not exert DOMESTIC LAW as IF it was international law and NO country is obliged to follow such ‘edicts’. There is NO international law just like there NO system of law period if you allowed ‘lawlessness’ and two-tiered sets of laws which is BY DEFINITION a police state or EMPIRE and most certainly places countries outside of the US as being ‘subject’ to foreign gov’t thus rendering your own political, economic and legal system rather moot, no?)
2) why under the guise suggesting this man’s opinion would be of value when the usual (believe me I am right here facing Beast, it’s Litter and it’s never changing propaganda for nearly 60 yrs ) would then subject us to Gen. Milley in his own words? (According to the Colonel he is ‘mostly right’…well that military courtesy/oath among ranked officers to never be seen publicly breaking ranks)
It wasn’t necessary to even include the General’s Will to Power garbage let alone run footage…either men here could have ‘pracie’ the General with short bullets even if they thought it was worthy of even including. Again the so called critical journalists (come on down Hedges, Greenwald, or even Fisk-ing..LOL rem that one) never explain why their reputation for critical focus is never brought to bear on the very ‘friendlies’ they interview.
…like the running gag of university student newspapers that NEVER (believe they NEVER do) challenge any statement made by Chomsky knowing full well that Chomsky does have pre-interview agreements (like the rest of them), it’s never disclosed (like rest of them) and Chomsky retains final say and will and does withdraw permission to publish if they deviate from what essentially is a commercial for Chomsky’s American propaganda where, like this Colonel, you are believe because he quite rightly agrees (for interview) to state what is hardly controversial
…that American president and it’s military and wars are consistently seen as war crimes under international law and then for some reason suggest subjecting the US to prosecution is viable when we all know these ‘radical’ American never ever suggests that US lawlessness prevents any practical discussion of what criminal thinks…guess what they tend to think their innocent/not guilty or YOUR legal system is not recognized by US and therefore Americans are not subject to it. Huh? No the US is subject to recognized international law because everybody follows it.
Can we please dispense listening to Americans talking to Americans for an opinion when YOU KNOW already it’s mostly damage control to fool Americans and these Americans are JUST as ignorant of your country, your culture, your traditions or even a opened mindedness that accommodates or acknowledges there might be a different perspectives or even heaven forbid that even basic logic would suggest an American is bias, indoctrinated, the US state dept (esp it’s Pentagon) is hardly a ‘reliable source’ for anything geopolitical and Empires are not emulated/admired by the people they violently oppress them…the appearance of global ‘adoption’ is simply the ‘success’ of US imposing by threat, force and occupation it’s colonial standards for IT’S BENEFIT as a imperial system is designed to furnish all benefits to the Empire.
Doesn’t anybody reading this site is really in listening some American man-boy wanting to tell ya about a book he read that deeply influential to him and his political…
STOP RIGHT THERE YANK…can we talk…if it’s Orwell’s 1984 ..then take a deep breathe and think just how pathetic you are even mentioning a book you were forced to read in high school like the rest of us? Your are part of our cohort in same English system..who now in their 50s, 60s and 70s and NOTHING else influenced YOU???
Yank…STFU.
Can we starting listening to other voices…not grown men talking about books involving conspiracies with a spider and a pig out defraud the good people of the Ohio state fair out of award money, seagulls who find Jesus or somebody who thought a novel about a clown in a sewer system murdering children was ‘literature’?
Like most you I got way more years behind me than ahead of me and really hate it being wasted these manboys that didn’t think much Plato’s maxim and only acquired one perspective and thinks any other POV is sacrilege and dangerous to the American ability to believe his imperial nonsense.
Conversations with an American is always a running list of “oh that’s another thing YOU didn’t know about it?”
As you know, keep them slaves dumb and uneducated, fill them with useless knowledge and bad food….makes them easier to control. Modus operandi of the rulers since the beginning of time.
Although I don’t agree the UKR missile landing on POL was “an accident” – the timing with the handing down of the MH17 ‘verdict’ falsely attributed to a Russian BUK missile was just far too coincidental, I’m really enjoying this straight talking by the Colonel.
Loved this line: “because I don’t think they understand it and then secondly since when was anybody in the mainstream media really interested in informing American citizens about anything? I mean everything’s a narrative.”
The only interesting thing about this Russian missile fired into Poland business was how quick the Polish and Americans were to blame the issue on Ukraine. One would have thought that both Poland and America would say its Russian aggression on Poland and so NATO article whatever must be invoked to defend Poland. But instead it was Poland which was the first to say that it was a Ukrainian missile and then America followed suit.
So they “unfortunatley” fired it to the West, because they were “misorientated”, instead of firing to the East, and it “unfortunatley” landed in Poland. Does anyone with a few functioning brain cells believe this crap?
Just like these maniac Poles/Ukies nearly “unfortunately” invoked Article 5 of NATO in order to completely destroy their own countries, as well as the rest of europe.
What is it with these Poles? They seem to like genociding themselves.
As for the grossly overweight, cartoon characters Austin and Milley, does anyone really take these dimwits seriously?
I think the missile was deliberate. That does not mean that it was ordered from above. With such a crooked regime in Ukraine there will be elements of those that do there own thing.
Interesting that the UK Ministry Of Defence is,very begrudgingly, giving feint praise to the appointment of General Surovikin.
What are the odds a surface to air missile flying 100km hits a ground target almost exactly at the border in Poland by accident?
The same as anybody being able to locate the scene of the crime on a google map, at least I can’t find it.

Thanks. Managed to find it. Looks nothing like expected, found a drone photo with a larger view.

Great interview. It is a comfort to hear Col. MacGregor talking sense.
good interview with Aaron Mate via grayzone too.

No doubt in my mind that Col. Douglas MacGregor Is 100% correct. Very good to hear an honest opinion.
