Anybody who knew anything about the entire Litvinenko saga knew that already, but now even the BBC is reporting it: Litvinenko was a paid MI6 agent.
Now let’s see how long it will take the BBC to find out what country’s intelligence service is known to have used Polonium to kill undesirable people?
The Saker
According to Alex Mercouris on a Kremlin Stooge thread the Counsel for the British inquest into Litvinenko has been told that whilst there is a prima facie case against Russia any possibility that Litvinenko might have been murdered by Berezovsky or the Chechens or anyone else “is ruled out”. In other words for all the brave words at the start of the inquest that the inquest would explore all possibilities the only possibility the inquest is actually going to look at is that the Russians killed him.
No big deal. The article ends with the typical “blame-Russia” rubbish we are already used to:
“Mr Davies said assessments of the confidential government material “established a prima facie case as to the culpability of the Russian state in the death of Alexander Litvinenko”.
But he added the documents showed no evidence to suggest Britain was involved in the poisoning of Mr Litvinenko, or that it failed to take necessary steps to protect him.
The evidence also ruled out the involvement of other parties, including the former spy’s friend Boris Berezovsky, Chechen-related groups and the Spanish mafia, Mr Davies said.”
What about Britain accussing the Kremlin and Putin to links with organised crime?
