The only superpowers that recognize the Palestinian state and always insist on the international law are Russia and China (neither the USA nor a single country in the EU does). There are some small countries and regional powers in the world, like Venezuela, Cuba or North Korea (all very good friends with Russia & China btw), who literally boycott Israel and openly condemn it, which is heroic from them, but bigger powers like R&C can’t afford to do the same because it would only mean for them to get ignored by Israel (and probably by some other ME countries like SA and UAE) and that wouldn’t be of any help for the Palestinians. Now they can at least try to help them by negotiating with the other side and also, they are in a better position to negotiate cease fires in Syria, participate to talks on Iran… etc.

Anyone who dares to criticize Israel will lose the privilege of doing international trade and making international banking and wire transfers. Iran is the example that has been set.
