I no longer listen to Michael Malouf. I think he is a planted agent pretending to be objective.
He lost me few weeks ago, when he commented on the news that Canada paid a compensation to some Afghani guy (I think) who was held at Guantanamo Bay for over 10 years, with no charge and no trial. I don’t know why Canada paid this compensation and not their masters US, but that’s what the news was.
Now, Mr. Malouf thought it was a disgrace that a “terrorist” is being paid compensation and all the rest. He conveniently forgot to explain how an Afghan national fighting an occupying force (USA) on Afghan soil qualifies as a terrorist. He forgot the “enhanced interrogation techniques” that this guy would have endured during his captivity on a piece of Cuba that US occupied decades ago and still refuses to return. Etc. etc.
Michael Malouf is an two-faced scarecrow, I don’t have time for his drivel.
All the nations that did not walk from Trump’s speech were complicit in his style of ‘diplomacy’ if you call it that.
