“After receiving first aid the Ukrainian border guards were taken to the nearest medical establishment in Donetsk, the Rostov Region. Unidentified gunmen have attacked another checkpoint on the border with Ukraine and a group of Ukrainian border guards asked Russia for shelter, the spokesman for the Rostov Region’s border guard service, Vasily Malayev, told ITAR-TASS.
“Unidentified gunmen have attacked the Donetsk (Russia)-Izvarino (Ukraine) checkpoint. At about 22:30 (MSK) Ukrainian border guards from Izvarino came to the Donetsk border checkpoint to seek protection from gunmen who had been chasing them. Some of the Ukrainian border guards were injured,” he said.
After receiving first aid the Ukrainian border guards were taken to the nearest medical establishment in Donetsk, the Rostov Region.
Earlier on Friday there was an armed incident at another checkpoint. Malayev told Itar-Tass there was a clash between people’s militia and Ukrainian troops and National Guard in the area of the Dolzhansky checkpoint on Ukraine’s border with the Rostov Region. The incident occurred at 18.40 (MSK). Mortar fire from Ukraine damaged buildings, engineering facilities and supply links of the Russian border checkpoint Novoshakhtinsk. A Russian customs officer was injured, a spokesman for Russia’s Southern Customs Department said. He is in grave condition. The checkpoint’s operation was paused.”
“Thirteen people were killed in an attack on a police station in China’s restive region of Xinjiang, the official Xinhua news agency reported on Saturday.
The 13 killed were described as “mobsters”, while three police were wounded in the attack on Saturday morning, the news agency said citing local government.
China has been cracking down after a spate of recent attacks centered around the far-western Xinjiang province, reports Reuters.”
It doesn’t sound like the Israeli-American mercs were very successful, though.
Saker, I pray for the goodness, although it seems so far away. The madness is seriously overwhelming, wtf is wrong with this world. One grows up, believing America helped stop these Nazis and what do you know, we America, have become the Nazis. How does one go about convincing others, that this is the fact? Even though the facts are apparent on every level, if one only opens his/her eyes? Why can’t people hear, or see? Why doesn’t anyone seem to care?
According to Twitter, Kolomoisky has rejected the “peace deal” advanced by Porochocco almost before he finished announcing it, and announced in his turn that “his army” will go on cleansing Ukraine of “terrorists” until they are all gone.
You know, that’s interesting, because according to the Ukrainian Constitution of 2004 – re-adopted in 2014 so they could take out some provisions Yanukovych had put in – the creation and operation of private armies is expressly forbidden. See for yourself:
To protect the sovereignty and territorial indivisibility of Ukraine, and to ensure its economic and informational security are the most important functions of the State and a matter of concern for all the Ukrainian people.
The defense of Ukraine and the protection of its sovereignty, territorial indivisibility and inviolability, are entrusted to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ensuring state security and protecting the state border of Ukraine are entrusted to the respective military formations and law enforcement bodies of the State, whose organization and operational procedure are determined by law.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations shall not be used by anyone to restrict the rights and freedoms of citizens or with the intent to overthrow the constitutional order, subvert the bodies of power, or obstruct their activity.
The State ensures the social protection of citizens of Ukraine who serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and in other military formations as well as of members of their families.
The creation and operation of any armed formations not envisaged by law are prohibited on the territory of Ukraine.
The location of foreign military bases shall not be permitted on the territory of Ukraine.
Mind you, there’s also a lot of twaddle in the Constitution about “no ideology shall be recognized by the state as mandatory” and “To affirm and ensure human rights and freedoms is the main duty of the State”, and even “The human being, his or her life and health, honor and dignity, inviolability and security are recognized in Ukraine as the highest social value.” Clever constitutional scholar that Yatsenyuk is, that’s probably why he refers to the easterners as “subhumans”. Because humans are actually protected by the Constitution.
Considering Kiev’s observance of it, it appears to have been written more for amusement than anything else, which is perhaps why Kolomoisky is allowed to fund and equip a private army answerable directly to himself and feels confident that he can ignore both the Constitution and the president.
This is what I said about the ceasefire talk on Wednesday. At that time there was some preliminary news about a 3 day ceasefire to exchange bodies.
Any real ceasefire would be almost a total capitulation. The junta controls the level of violence. The rebels use violence only for self defense. Any pause in fighting will make independent Donbass / Novorossiya more of a reality.
There seems to be a grand strategy on the rebel side, even if totally unintended. This is turning into fight not only for Donbass but for all of Ukraine. The Ukrainian forces are bleeding dry, not necessarily the more neutral regular army but the Nazi hotheads in the National Guard and in the mercenary Battalions. With the losses mounting, this could soon lead to a total collapse of the Ukrainian military or at least its revolutionary Maidanite forces.
The military strategy is to bring the fight to the loyalist area where the population is almost 100% for the resistance. The densely populated urban Donbass is easily defended. The Nazis are hitting their head against the wall. This is not Hamburger Hill nor MiG Alley. One could call it “Igor’s Anvil.”
Soon the regular military will have to think about switching sides. When that happens the tanks will start rolling on Kiev. If Kiev is ever liberated, it will be under the Soviet flag!
I say an unilateral declaration of ceasefire today by the junta almost amounts to capitulation. It does not really matter what the paper says. The fact is that they have been – if not defeated – then at least too far outstretched!
Turchinov admits that his operation has failed:”I would like to say frankly that at the moment the security structures are unable to swiftly take the situation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions back under control. Security personnel tasked with the protection of citizens are helpless. More than that, some of these units either aid or co-operate with terrorist groups. Our task is to stop the spread of the terrorist threat first of all in the Kharkiv and Odessa regions.”
Секретный список с именами руководителей «спецоперации» попал к ополченцам ЛНР (Secret list with the names of the leaders of “special operations” came to the militia LNR)
“In the hands of the fighters of the self-defense of the Lugansk national Republic (LNR) got a list with the names and surnames of those in charge of the punitive operation in the South-East of Ukraine…”
I have been reading on the Slovenian Independence War or “Ten-Day War”. In essence the war was about control of border crossings. Initially Slovenia took control of the posts. The Yugoslav Army responded by moving in heavy armor and retaking most of the posts. In the end 4,600 Yugoslav troops were taken prisoner along with much of the heavy armor.
Turchinov’s task now is to avoid this scenario. He will have to withdraw all Ukrainian troops, police and border guards from Donbass and set up new border posts and defensive lines in Izyum and in the west. If he succeeds, Donbass will become Russia overnight.
For all of Novorossiya to be liberated the resistance must not play by this book. It is vital that the troops and border controls – with Ukrainian flags and under Kyiv control – be kept in place as long as possible.
In Slovenia the Brioni Accords delayed independence by three months. In retrospect, it may be exactly this delay that led to the total breakup of Yugoslavia.
So far both sides have been following this advice. Donbass concentrated on strengthening its political structures (as Novorossiya) and delayed movement on the border. Kyiv manged to pull out most of its troops without any major defections to the “rebel” (I call them loyalists) side. The only exception was the Artemivsk tank base with hundreds of tanks and armor in different stages of non-use. As far as I know it is still nominally controlled by the Ukrainian army – though I do not really know how loyal they are to the Kyiv junta.
On must note, that taking control of the border undermines the legitimacy of any popular uprising, as it will automatically leads to claims about foreign arms flows, foreign interference and outright foreign invasion and occupation.
Kyiv is now doing something extremely risky. In the last few days two armored wedges have been advancing along the borders, in the uninhabited open fields to the south and west of the urban Donbass industrial area. (I guess this is where Poroshenko thinks his 10 km buffer zone would be.) The tank units are almost driving into a trap. They can easily be pocketed and boxed, at least if the Donbass forces gain any offensive capability. From the Russian side they almost look like a honeytrap; if Russian troops or even “peacekeepers” were to move in now, they could be encircled and trapped without firing a shot.
Yesterday morning we saw a Novorossiyan NAF tank column cover a distance of 100 kilometers in on hour – maybe even 200 kilometers in two hours. This would be quite an achievement for any unit in combat in hostile territory. This time it was done in broad daylight, without air cover, under real time surveillance of street webcams, augmented by almost instant YouTube uploads by spectators. Pro-ukie propagandist even claim these were Russian tanks invading into sovereign Ukraine. This must be what it feels like for a country and president to be raped!
I counted four T-64 tanks, five BTR-80 APCs, seven Ural trucks, one at least pulling an anti-aircraft gun and five Kamaz trucks. It is possible that some of the Ural trucks are in fact GRAD launchers. Here is an approximate timeline with videos:
Ukraine@war claims that the tanks came in from Crimea, but it is my understanding that the armor was part of the western offensive wedge closing in on Krasnodon from the north.
I didn’t watch the Crosstalk program all the way through, but the guests and host seem clear on the point Poroshenko’s “peace plan” is buggery by stealth, and not very clever stealth at that. Loved the line that Poroshenko’s job was essntially that of a translator of English into “Ukrainian”.
I’ve noticed the zionazi colonies of the west are eating up the propaganda and it is obvious this zionazi “peace plan” is PR for the zionazi quislings and media machine to exploit.
One can fully understand the sentiments expressed here from the victims of Jewish zionazi propaganda:
RT has forum which is full of trolling and trolls. Either those RT people have no interest to clean and to impose some rules or they are very reckless in their work.
RIA Novosti is even worse, they don’t allow any critic of pro-American regime in Kiev or any writing against the Great Hegemon in Washington.
Oligarch Kolomoisky not going to obey Poroshenko’s plan and will “finish off militiamen in any case”:
During the working visit of President of Ukraine Petr Poroshenko to Donbass, oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky has openly declared, that he would not obey the President’s decree on peaceful settlement, and that his army would “finish off” the militiamen in the South-East of the country in any case. This was confided by a source in the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on condition of anonymity, RIA Novosti reports.
“Putin confirmed Russia’s “full support for the Iraqi government’s action to quickly free the territory of the republic from terrorists,” the Kremlin said, adding that Putin and al-Maliki also discussed bilateral cooperation.”
Both Russia and China have been very active developing oil fields in Iraq and Putin was merely waiting for Obama to choose sides. So our typical policy of, “Let’s blow the whole thing up” is not only pro-Israel but anti-Russia. Russia is currently running a surplus while we’re sinking ever deeper into public debt and private poverty, so the economic fall-out will be felt where? We The People, while the banksters and MIC just rake in ever more.
Lucky McGriff,
I agree — it is exceedingly frustrating bc people don’t care and don’t want to learn the truth. They don’t have the eyes to see or ears to hear. All we can do, though, is just keep on trying. What else is there?

” 1,000 east Ukraine residents file applications to Russian investigators for ICC, ECHR
Russia June 21, 15:48 UTC+4 MOSCOW, June 21. /ITAR-TASS/. More than 1,000 residents of Ukraine’s embattled eastern regions have filed applications to Russian investigators for the International Criminal Court and the European Court of Human Rights, Russian Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin said Saturday. Markin told Itar-Tass that in the framework of a criminal case on the use of banned means and methods of warfare, murders, hindrance to the professional activity of journalists and abductions of people in eastern Ukraine, “over 40 investigators keep working with arrivers from Ukraine.” He said the talk was about those people who “suffered from crimes and have currently arrived in the southern Russian Rostov Region, the Republic of Crimea, as well as the Belgorod, Voronezh, Bryansk, Kursk and some other regions.” “As of now, a total of 2,400 eyewitnesses have been questioned, 1,470 people have been recognized injured persons, including 208 underage people. More than 1,000 people have submitted to Russian investigators applications for the International Criminal Court and the European Court of Human Rights,” Markin said. “
Just sent it to Francis Boyle too, though it doesn’t sound like he’ll be needed. ;~)
This is truly terrific news — and with all the refugees flooding in (10,000/day is the official estimate), those courts Will. Be. Flooded.
And I don’t think we totally own them either, since we’re not a signatory. But mainly, the numbers here will command respect and a fair hearing, if anything at all works the way it is supposed to.
We know that the Olympic Games in Russia cost 50 Billion Dollars, and that is now besides the point, because Russia was looking for a good image to the World.
We All know that you Cannot and Must Not trust America and their Puppets, and this is why Many People think that these French Mistral warship have concealed nuclear bombs on them, because America and NATO wants Crimea.
The World would appreciate it if Russia would Secretly and Discreetly sink the French Mistral warships valued at 3 Billion Dollars.
This would be Much Better for Russia’s image than what the Olympic Games were.
This has nothing to do with a good image, but it has Everything to do with saving the Planet from Destruction.
Russia can keep those French Mistral warships in Insignificant ports, or ask France to keep them until Russia builds an Insignificant port for those NATO Trojan Horses.
I think that Russia Must Only build its own Major Military Equipment for the benefit of the Entire Planet.
Russia puts Avakov and Kolomoyskyi on International Wanted List:
“Under the criminal case, launched on the grounds of a crime of using forbidden warfare, a first degree murder, interfering with the professional activity of journalists and kidnapping of people, a notice has been given of charges against Igor Kolomoyskyi and Arsen Avakov”.

Holy Quran:
002.008 Of the people there are some who say: “We believe in God and the Last Day;” but they do not (really) believe.
002.009 Fain would they deceive God and those who believe, but they only deceive themselves, and realize (it) not!
002.010 In their hearts is a disease; and God has increased their disease: And grievous is the penalty they (incur), because they are false (to themselves).
002.011 When it is said to them: “Make not mischief on the earth,” they say: “Why, we only want to make peace!”
002.012 Of a surety, they are the ones who make mischief, but they realize (it) not.
002.013 When it is said to them: “Believe as the others believe:” They say: “Shall we believe as the fools believe?” Nay, of a surety they are the fools, but they do not know.
002.014 When they meet those who believe, they say: “We believe;” but when they are alone with their evil ones, they say: “We are really with you: We (were) only jesting.”
002.015 God will throw back their mockery on them, and give them rope in their trespasses; so they will wander like blind ones (to and fro).
002.016 These are they who have bartered guidance for error: But their traffic is profitless, and they have lost true direction,
002.017 Their similitude is that of a man who kindled a fire; when it lighted all around him, God took away their light and left them in utter darkness. So they could not see.
002.018 Deaf, dumb, and blind, they will not return (to the path).
002.019 Or (another similitude) is that of a rain-laden cloud from the sky: In it are zones of darkness, and thunder and lightning: They press their fingers in their ears to keep out the stunning thunder-clap, the while they are in terror of death. But God is ever round the rejecters of Faith!
002.020 The lightning all but snatches away their sight; every time the light (helps) them, they walk therein, and when the darkness grows on them, they stand still. And if God willed, He could take away their faculty of hearing and seeing; for God has power over all things.
002.021 O’ you people! Adore your Guardian-Lord, who created you and those who came before you, that you may have the chance to learn righteousness;
002.022 Who has made the earth your couch, and the heavens your canopy; and sent down rain from the heavens; and brought forth therewith fruits for your sustenance; then set not up rivals unto God when ye know (the truth).
The day before, Gazeta.ru published an anonymous interview with a Russian “political technologist” who worked on the referendums in the Crimea and Donbass.
According to the technologist, “the Crimean referendum did not need political technologies,” so Russian consultants primarily helped solve technical issues. “There were specialized experts there that brought the language in line with the latest precedents in international law and helped conduct the voting,” the technologist said.
“The demand for a referendum [in the Donbass] was a lot lower,” the technologist told Gazeta.ru. “In that case, political technologists really had a lot of work to do. Their task was to formulate the ideas of the protest movement. It’s a mining region, where the idea itself of joining Russia wasn’t particularly tempting.”
I follow this blog with assiduity and love its format. Thank you and your readers for turning the Internet into a powerful tool of dialogue and exchange.
In your SITREP of June 20 you stated that Poroshenko’s puppeteers are absolutely determined to achieve one of two goals:
1) To extend Banderastan all the way to the Russian border 2) To force Russia to openly intervene militarily in the Donbass
You added that Putin does not have a third option.
I believe that the situation has changed dramatically and Putin has but one option left: to intervene militarily in all of Ukraine and reverse the current illegal regime. It would then be logical to bring back Yanukovych, and implement a plan to redraft the constitution and conduct real democratic elections. It would be difficult for the USA to reverse the situation, and Europe and Russia would end up being the real winners.
This might be a difficult choice but what is the alternative? The USA is making a desperate attempt to eliminate the last obstacle to implementing its hegemony, and Russia has to fight back of be ruined.
During my years in Vietnam, living in a refugee village, and later travelling in liberated zones, I had occasion to watch some KBG action at a distance. They seemed very clever. Either the clever crew has retired, or they are more clever than ever and remain out of sight. Hopefully the secret services are doing their part, but more cleverness and less direct confrontation seems in order right now.
I agree with others that, from a great distance and very little information, the path to liberation for Ukraine from the grip of Neocon psychopaths is to provoke mutany in the regular Ukrainian Army.
In our village we were to be leafleted to surrender regularly (not that our village was liberated, it was Northern Catholic and hard core anti-Communist) but at least we didn’t shoot at the planes dropping the leaflets which made us a popular target. On the back of these surrender leaflets there were the outlines of verious weapons and the ammounts of money you could get for turning them in (actally it was a big scam and did’t really work that way). The front of the leaflets were about how safe you would be in the surrender camps (not!) but that could be true for Ukrainian Army folks resettled in Russia. It seems to me, and maybe this is already going on, that offering attractive prices for Ukie weapons and offers to resettle some where secretly (like a witness protection plan) in Russia with your family would work. A big chunk for pilots who defect with planes, and bigger chunks for whole units that defect would lower the violence considerably, not to mention provoking the regular Army to go to Kiev and deal with the psychpathic oligarchs as a definitive solution.
Of course you woud want to have a good advertising campaign, interviews with defectors and their families on their new homestead in Siberia somewhere, and some zany stuff like pallets of cash waiting at the border waiting for new defectors to get their share. The campaign itself, as opposed to the number of defectors attracted to the program, would potentially weaken Ukrainian morale.
Another good idea might be to publicize a plan for economic assistance to the East (and the West when possible) to rebuild after liberation complete with architectural contests and glossy photos. Moskow has made such offers to the psychopaths in charge and were apparently outbid. Take these offers to the people of Ukraine. The message: get rid of the psychopathic leadership and find prosperity and peace.
Incidently, if you use leafletting, print them on tissue paper. People living under harsh conditions always lack for toilet paper (Recycle, Reuse). The Americans would leaflet us with thick glossy paper which was useless for anything. Couln’t even use it to start fires. No one appreciated that.
The Russian news agency Interfax has reported that Russia’s Investigative Committee has put Ukrainian acting Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and Dnepropetrovsk Oblast Governor Ihor Kolomoiskiy on an Interpol international wanted list.
Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin told Interfax the warrants were issued “in the framework of a criminal case on the use of banned means and methods of warfare, aggravated murder, hindrance of the professional activity of journalists, and abductions of people in eastern Ukraine.” ————–
Acting Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov responded to Russia’s request that Interpol issue an arrest warrant for him on Twitter: “Looking for me? Come to the Interior Ministry in Kyiv, Bogomolets Street.” Followed by a nice smiley face.
Goal of EuroMaidan is regime change in Russia. Read the whole thing! “Notwithstanding the growing number of people in Ukraine that see the disintegration of the Russian Federation as a desired outcome of the current conflict in the Donbas”
Worst claim in it is this:
To which I responded: “True, but look where it got us in the case of Slobodan Milosevic?” Serbs (and Kosovars, Bosnians, and Montenegrans) are certainly better off today without the Balkan dictator – an authoritarian who justified expansionism based on ethno-nationalist fervor
So Serbs are somehow better off being ethnically cleansed from Croatia, half of Bosnia, and Kosovo, and divided between five countries when before they had one federal state to live in peacefully?
At the Oakland Hilton, your site is blocked or denied by something called Uniguest, a censorware. You can get around it by visiting your UK or Canadian mirror but blogspot is definitely blocked. It is possible that blogspot itself is blocked, but I don’t believe in pure happenstance.
“The Russian leader reiterated Russia’s all-round support to efforts of the Iraqi government to clear the republic of terrorists. The sides also discussed issues of bilateral cooperation of mutual interest.”
I noticed something interesting on Vice news network. They are typically extremely pro-Western. They offer a “believable” and “objective” pro-Western narrative with most current events and the majority of the Ukraine crisis by doing investigative journalism on the front lines. However, the latest video update was significantly more Russo-friendly (or more correctly, East-Ukie-friendly) than usual. Also there is this latest written article on the Vice news website.
Look out for more wailing and gnashing of teeth from the Anglo-Zionists – the UN places the blame squarely on the Ukraine governemt for the war crimes against the separatists.
Text elsewhere says: “In short: All in all, the first two guys saying they haven’t expected to see war at all. The first one gave up and said he never shot a man and didn’t want to fight at all. He has a brother and father, his mother died a year ago. His sallary was 2700 hrivna. The second one’s sallry was 3200 hrivna – he is 1st sergeant. The last one is interesting, she is woman – on the question “How many are there against us?” she says “The whole Ukraine.”, then the guy questioning her says “You are wrong, not the whole Ukraine.” At that point she switched to ukrainian and i couldn’t understand much.” http://www.militaryphotos.net/forums/showthread.php?236005-Situation-in-the-Ukraine-Crimea-*Photos-Videos*-ONLY&p=7235668&viewfull=1#post7235668
The Russian Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case against acting Dnepropetrovsk region governor and oligarch Igor Kolomoyskiy and Ukrainian acting interior minister Arsen Avakov on the counts of organizing murder and using outlawed methods of war.
“Russian President and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Vladimir Putin has ordered a comprehensive surprise combat readiness test of the entire personnel of the Central Military District, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu announced at a conference at the Defense Ministry on Saturday. “In line with [Putin’s] orders, the Central Military District’s troops and also units and garrisons deployed on its territory have been put on full combat alert since 11:00 am today,” he said…”

The latest aggression by Kiev against Russia is an attack by the Ukrainian army on a customs checkpoint at Novoshakhtinsk, Russia in the southern Rostov region on the Russian-Ukrainian border. US entering ‘Age of Entropy’ as global hegemony ends – expert
Amazing what BS these shills promote. The reality is that neutering Israeli-American hegemony will bring order out of the current disorder and non-stop wars and conflicts, not the other way around.
This is an example of the American “order” expressed by “prof.” Schweller:

“The World would appreciate it if Russia would Secretly and Discreetly sink the French Mistral warships valued at 3 Billion Dollars.”
I think the world would appreciate it much more if the Palestinians were to take you, and the rest of the zionazi web troll network, and sink the lot of you into the Dead Sea.
Today in the central square of city #Donetsk, capital of Donetsk republic were declared that position in mountain #Karachun came under control of defence forces of #Slavyansk. If it is truth, then troops of Kiev junta don’t be shell cities #Slavyansk and #Kramatorsk, as well as villages in this area from this position. We waiting photo or videos evidences or statement of somebody from commanders of Donetsk republic.
Thank you!!! Wow — that took some kind of patience and dedication. But how on earth did it get in there? And I say that having owned many cats…
The difference between here and there, btw, is about as great as can be. In our area, for example, lots of people run them over for sport — they just speed up when they see one, and some monsters even shoot them. We’ve had three wonderful, wonderful beings hit by cars and Mr. Nora is pretty sure two were deliberate. So yes, the difference between Russian and American culture is substantial. We have a lot to learn — I just wish we’d start already.
Soooo — let me put in another plug for Auslander’s fine work! Since I can’t get anybody interested in kiddie toys, if you haven’t yet, how ’bout just pitching in now to help women and children escape at least with their lives and before PTSD really takes hold of those children. Imagine your kids living under those conditions, you know?
And finally, O/T kinda but kinda-not too: an interactive time-lapse map showing how the US took more than 1.5 BILLION ACRES from Native Americans. It doesn’t start at the first colonists but goes from 1776 to 1887 so it’s not totally complete and they somehow got my tribe totally wrong, too, but the general idea is pretty good. And showing it this way, even if you don’t play around with it, just kind of emphasizes what Israel has been doing to Palestine, and what Novorossiya has in store if we aren’t somehow stopped:
Poor Candians. Nutjob and NWO cocksucker Harper is barking at Russian Bear. At least we Poles are not alone with our (?) servile corrupted politicians… Andrew,
If Putin takes the bait and moves against Kiev, says Glazyev, the US plan is not to honour Russia’s portfolio of US treasuries. Another benefit for US would be a (further) weakened EU (allowing the US to hammer through the Atlantic trade deal exclusively on its own terms and opening up EU LNG market to US etc.), plus (immediately) a 1 trillion setback for EU as a whole. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-06-18/putin-advisor-proposes-anti-dollar-alliance-halt-us-foreign-aggression Perhaps off-topic, but maybe useful for the bigger picture. The Financial Times reprots on central banks secretly buying 29 trillion of world equity. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-06-15/cluster-central-banks-have-secretly-invested-29-trillion-market These astronomical figures are a bit confusing but 29 trillion is apparently about half of the total equity worldwide (*). The “breaking-news” mode report by FT is not really “breaking-news” at all because news of the 29 trillion figure is about become public anyway, as Zerohedge reports, in the upcoming official OMFIF report. Symptomatically, ECB head, Draghi, has also just announced that ECB will buy, or is prepared to buy, private equity. Presumably ECB already has, so he’s lying as usual (on top of other acrobatics and juggling, plus the very recent anti-parking negative interest rate move, apparently it’s been a very busy time for Draghi). (*) A Zerohedge commenter says “the total value of the world’s stock markets is under 60 trillion, http://www.aei-ideas.org/2013/01/world-stock-market-capitalization-at-54… the central banks own more than half, in a sense (we are not sure, at least i’m not, who their intermediaries are).” Another commenter says this happened in USSR with KGB and that these central banks will “control everything so that when it crashes and reemerges they own everything worth owning. That is the plan.” Whatever KGB’s role, it makes sense. NB whether de facto or de juris, only a few central banks worldwide are publicly owned.
My cats actually get in less trouble than one of my dogs…
But that dedication and love sure did lighten my day — and Mr. Nora’s too. Thank you — in addition to it being so painstakingly rescued, I just get a kick out of seeing big, burly guys loving cats. ;~)
If Putin takes the bait and moves against Kiev, says Glazyev, the US plan is not to honour Russia’s portfolio of US treasuries. ================================
There is a very precise term for that; it’s called default! No matter what justification you may concoct, it has always very precise effects. What effects? Just look the day after at the exchange rate of the dollar and the yield of US debt.
If you want a sudden demise of the US dollar instead of a gradual one, give it a try….
“Ukraine is the doormat into Russia.”
That line fully nailed what’s going on in this bloody blanket party.
Second border incident today:
Another checkpoint on Russia-Ukraine border attacted by unknown gunmen
http://voiceofrussia.com/news/2014_06_21/Another-checkpoint-on-Russia-Ukraine-border-attacted-by-unknown-gunmen-2530/

Saker,
I pray for the goodness, although it seems so far away.
See for yourself:
http://en.wikisource.org/wiki/Constitution_of_Ukraine,_2004
Article 17
Suddenly all comments were wiped out, while I was checking links; I think, all 20 of them disappeared.
Hold on Dear Saker, you’re doing something really good!
It seems this was recorded before Poroshenko’s announcement of a 7 day ceasefire last night. We shall see if it leads to anything. Based on the latest news, not much.
On April 30, 2014, in Ukraine SITREP-update April 30, 16:12 UTC/Zulu: “US/EU Hedgehog scaring techniques” you wrote:
Turchinov admits that his operation has failed:”I would like to say frankly that at the moment the security structures are unable to swiftly take the situation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions back under control. Security personnel tasked with the protection of citizens are helpless. More than that, some of these units either aid or co-operate with terrorist groups. Our task is to stop the spread of the terrorist threat first of all in the Kharkiv and Odessa regions.”

I responded with this comment:

5 am: Krasnodon https://youtu.be/6Lg_9EvDKM8
5:44 am: Luhansk https://youtu.be/vBT8eUM2LyA

6:35 am: Perevalsk https://youtu.be/17wdjm8wKww
7 am: Gorlovka https://youtu.be/DABKxbLBPmI

VERY interesting development:

Russia June 21, 15:48 UTC+4
MOSCOW, June 21. /ITAR-TASS/. More than 1,000 residents of Ukraine’s embattled eastern regions have filed applications to Russian investigators for the International Criminal Court and the European Court of Human Rights, Russian Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin said Saturday.
Markin told Itar-Tass that in the framework of a criminal case on the use of banned means and methods of warfare, murders, hindrance to the professional activity of journalists and abductions of people in eastern Ukraine, “over 40 investigators keep working with arrivers from Ukraine.”
He said the talk was about those people who “suffered from crimes and have currently arrived in the southern Russian Rostov Region, the Republic of Crimea, as well as the Belgorod, Voronezh, Bryansk, Kursk and some other regions.”
“As of now, a total of 2,400 eyewitnesses have been questioned, 1,470 people have been recognized injured persons, including 208 underage people. More than 1,000 people have submitted to Russian investigators applications for the International Criminal Court and the European Court of Human Rights,” Markin said. “

002.021 O’ you people! Adore your Guardian-Lord, who created you and those who came before you, that you may have the chance to learn righteousness;

It’s a mining region, where the idea itself of joining Russia wasn’t particularly tempting.”
http://rbth.com/international/2014/06/19/press_digest_is_poroshenkos_peace_plan_a_surrender_proposal_in_37569.html
I follow this blog with assiduity and love its format. Thank you and your readers for turning the Internet into a powerful tool of dialogue and exchange.
In your SITREP of June 20 you stated that Poroshenko’s puppeteers are absolutely determined to achieve one of two goals:
1) To extend Banderastan all the way to the Russian border
2) To force Russia to openly intervene militarily in the Donbass
Liberate the World from intelligent psychopaths,

Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has been put on the Interpol wanted list. Once he learned that, he tweeted: “Come and get me”
http://www.rferl.org/contentlive/liveblog/25416257.html#liveblog
The Russian news agency Interfax has reported that Russia’s Investigative Committee has put Ukrainian acting Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and Dnepropetrovsk Oblast Governor Ihor Kolomoiskiy on an Interpol international wanted list.
Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin told Interfax the warrants were issued “in the framework of a criminal case on the use of banned means and methods of warfare, aggravated murder, hindrance of the professional activity of journalists, and abductions of people in eastern Ukraine.”

Hi Saker
you are like ruffling feathers.
At the Oakland Hilton, your site is blocked or denied by something called Uniguest, a censorware. You can get around it by visiting your UK or Canadian mirror but blogspot is definitely blocked. It is possible that blogspot itself is blocked, but I don’t believe in pure happenstance.

The sides also discussed issues of bilateral cooperation of mutual interest.”
Dear Saker,
I noticed something interesting on Vice news network.

Vice seems to have changed its stance on the conflict. I feel this speaks volumes about western public opinion.

The Russian Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case against acting Dnepropetrovsk region governor and oligarch Igor Kolomoyskiy and Ukrainian acting interior minister Arsen Avakov on the counts of organizing murder and using outlawed methods of war.

Several signs are pointing to the Russian armed intervention relatively soon:
1. Federalists have destroyed Ukrainian radar. Irrelevant for them, but obvious benefit to the Russian air force.
2. Russian prosecutors are starting to indict senior Ukrainian henchmen, thus presenting Ukie military as a criminal enterprise.
3. Russia is conducting massive readiness check of its forces adjacent to Ukraine.
4. West is preparing for more at best useless “sanctions”. Looks like western intelligence reports are making Empire and its stooges uneasy.

Kiev continues to guarantee its own demise

“Ukraine continues to aggressively provoke Russia with acts that could be interpreted as being tantamount to declarations of war. The latest aggression by Kiev against Russia is an attack by the Ukrainian army on a customs checkpoint at Novoshakhtinsk, Russia in the southern Rostov region on the Russian-Ukrainian border. The unprovoked shelling by the Ukrainian military has caused the partial destruction of the customs checkpoint and the serious injury of at least one Russian customs officer…”
Another American parasite shows that to become a professor in the USA, one just needs to prove they are a loyal clueless propagandist with an always available tush for the higher ups.

This from the TruthfromUkraine facebook:

Yonatan,
Thank you!!!

At least we Poles are not alone with our (?) servile corrupted politicians…
Andrew,
If Putin takes the bait and moves against Kiev, says Glazyev, the US plan is not to honour Russia’s portfolio of US treasuries. Another benefit for US would be a (further) weakened EU (allowing the US to hammer through the Atlantic trade deal exclusively on its own terms and opening up EU LNG market to US etc.), plus (immediately) a 1 trillion setback for EU as a whole.

Perhaps off-topic, but maybe useful for the bigger picture. The Financial Times reprots on central banks secretly buying 29 trillion of world equity.
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-06-15/cluster-central-banks-have-secretly-invested-29-trillion-market
These astronomical figures are a bit confusing but 29 trillion is apparently about half of the total equity worldwide (*).
Nora wrote “But how on earth did it get in there?”
It’s a cat!
The amazing thing was that the cat was head down in the suspension spring.
Anyway, I’m glad it lightened your day. The affection showed by the cat’s owner at the end was really moving.
Yonatan,
My cats actually get in less trouble than one of my dogs…
But that dedication and love sure did lighten my day — and Mr. Nora’s too. Thank you — in addition to it being so painstakingly rescued, I just get a kick out of seeing big, burly guys loving cats. ;~)
If Putin takes the bait and moves against Kiev, says Glazyev, the US plan is not to honour Russia’s portfolio of US treasuries.
================================
