Looks like Ukraine and the west has lost control of everything, including their minds.
They have escalated events at every turn.
We all lost our minds 2 yrs ago on 03/11/2020.
Someone on Telegram just posted Russia just announced a moratorium on all commodities export until December 31. Sorry, I can no longer find the link. I am not sure is such a thing was announced truly though.
God help us. Industry will crash.
French revolution will be a joke comparing to the negative energy brewing in EU. This is going to be of galactic proportions. Many scores will be settled. People have started talking over it publicly, but still somewhat quietly. Tools are being sharpened, scary times, truly scary ones…
Domestic energy costs in many of the Eurozone Countries were already high before the current fiasco, for example Germany’s rather strange policies have meant their industry pays the highest costs for electricity in the EU.
The impact on the cost of living will be significant, both directly (higher fuel costs at the pump) and indirectly (higher transport costs for produce / finished goods, higher manufacturing costs).
Those at the bottom of the earning pile (who, co-incidentally are the ones who provide the bulk of the “less glamorous” services that our society is absolutely reliant on) will be hit the hardest. If a significant chunk decide that enough’s enough, then it’s not going to be at all pretty.
“In Germany, for some, one month’s energy costs the same as they used to pay for a whole year; in the UK the government has raised the price cap for energy bills by a whopping 54%, and in Italy a recent 40% domestic energy cost hike could now nearly double.”
Keep cheer leading for Ukraine to fight an unwinnable war and it’s going to seriously hurt you.

In our society, there seems a general rule that, the more obviously one’s work benefits other people, the less one is likely to be paid for it.

For those lacking access, this is the top RT article now. Europe appears to have coordinated this as well. $300 oil//bbl?!

A senator earlier explained that it’s the ‘cost of standing up for freedom’ as oil and gas prices threaten to hike further
US President Joe Biden has announced a ban on Russian oil and gas imports in response to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine on Tuesday, a move that threatens to send global gas and oil prices even higher than the record-setting costs the commodities are already fetching.
The president called on the nation to use the events as an opportunity to transition to renewable energy, insisting that if “no one has to worry about the price at the gas pump in the future, tyrants like Putin won’t be able to use fossil fuels as weapons against other nations.”
Biden warned oil and gas companies against jacking up prices unnecessarily, declaring that while “Putin’s war against Ukraine is causing gas prices to rise…it’s no excuse to exercise excessive price increases or padding profits or any kind of effort to exploit the situation or American consumers.”
“Russia’s aggression is costing us all, and it’s no time for profiteering or price-gouging,” Biden said, hailing the blanket ban on all imports of Russian oil and gas as “another powerful blow to Putin’s war machine.”
“This is a step we are taking to further inflict pain on Putin,” the president boasted, even while acknowledging “there will be costs as well in the US.”
Americans will have to pay for what Senator Chris Coons (D-Delaware) called “the cost of standing up for freedom” in the coming weeks as the sanctions are expected to send energy prices soaring worldwide.
Ahead of Biden’s announcement, the Democratic senator told CNN that the price of oil could very well double to $300 per barrel, with gas prices more than tripling to $10-$14 per gallon.
The repercussions from the price shock will be felt worldwide, he continued, as costs continue to surge. Acknowledging that “the strength of our sanctions, of the costs we’re imposing on Putin…are more successful and more sustainable when they’re coordinated,” he praised the administration for working together with Europe on the looming import ban instead of pushing ahead unilaterally.
“We have to realize that it’s a global integrated market, it is tough to just turn on the taps and increase production quickly – it’s not like phoning up Amazon,” he explained, cautioning “we are going to see increased gas prices here in the US, in Europe they will see dramatic increases in prices, that’s the cost of standing up for freedom and of standing alongside the Ukrainian people. We need to see the cost and benefit here.”
The senator also admitted the White House has been in negotiations with its once-sworn enemies in Venezuela and Iran, two major oil producers Washington is suddenly seeing in a new light for their potential to bail out countries soon to be running on empty in the absence of Russian energy supplies, but argued the focus should be on Canada first. However, he acknowledged Putin “had Western Europe over a barrel” – literally and figuratively – regarding the highly sought-after commodities.
Russia is the second-largest oil exporter in the world, while the US is the largest oil consumer. While Moscow supplies only about 7% of US oil, Europe is much more heavily reliant on the nation for its energy supplies.
Fresh polls claim that Americans are willing to pay more at the pump in order to stick it to Putin. A Quinnipiac survey conducted over the weekend, which found 71% of Americans supported a ban on Russian oil even if it led to higher gas prices. More than half of respondents (56%) even suggested the US hadn’t gone far enough with its sanctions and called for tougher moves.
russia will in 2 days ban import and export of certain goods and certain coutries they are preparing the list and it would surprise me if it didnt fit with the list of unfriendly nations. it is on interfax.
The Democrats are hoping and counting on the war effect to retain their seats in November. It seems more likely that we will see $15 dollar gasoline at the pump. In that case there will be war in the streets.
Quite possibly. For a sizeable chunk of those in America who actually do a useful job, transport costs are a significant fraction of their cost of living. An increase in petrol costs to that level would not be affordable for many, and since heavier fuel oil (diesel, bunker fuel, aviation kerosene) will also increase in price by a comparable amount – what’s going to happen to the transport / distribution industry?
ALL US distribution over medium – longer distances is entirely reliant on hydrocarbon-fuelled transport, since there’s no long-distance electric freight rail. It is not just the fuel costs, but costs in lubrication too.
So, potentially a two-pronged “financial assault” on the consumer: Increased costs of transport, and increased costs on (transported) goods in the shops.
Don’t believe those bullshit polls. Just like every single US “news” agency is nothing but a state operated propaganda machine, the polls are fake too. Also, many of us stand with Russia. We aren’t all brainwashed. Anyone with a brain can see Ukraine is nothing but a money laundering ATM machine for Soros, Schwab, Biden, our dirty corrupt DC swamp state department, and a host of other lazy and corrupt grifters.
Russia is a proud country with a rich and honorable heritage. First the new world order took out Trump, and now because Putin won’t hand over his country, the new world order is trying to cancel him and the Russian people. Fight the good fight Russian people.
Richard
I, too, don’t believe those polls. As one American reader stated, people in the US are more concerned with domestic problems than with the situation in Ukraine. Who in the US wants to pay more for gas at the pumps ?
The price of American failure! another failure! Those yanks sure can talk it up a storm and convince themselves its all about freedom and democracy but its just major butt hurt. won’t fight, rely on proxies and sanctions, what a failed state the US is turning into.
Don’t you just wonder how many in US government diversified their portfolios to include a whole lot more oil stocks?
Very direct, to the point, covered all of the bases. This gentleman was not stuttering or mincing words. I sense he is also telling everybody that time is not at a luxury stage either.
However I think that they, the occidentals, are going to go right ahead and try to trash Russian energy supply. Good luck with that one. I am beyond the point of hoping they do not, because you can see the usual writing on the wall. One doesn´t need to be an international specialist to read what is coming. My take.
Psychopaths (Owners of the western world) want everything for themselves, by any means, up to sacrificing humanity.
Russia should publish locations of all luxury bunkers prepared by the Owners for the approaching apocalypse. Let people visit and trash the bunkers and then destroy the lairs with precision missiles.
problem is that the western world is less than 12% of the global population. 88% – 6.5 billion people did not agree to sanction Russia, neither did they approve. The world is watching and they are not on the Wests side, more big bad shocks for the US/UK, I think Europe is getting the message a bit, less hubris more realpolitik, even that **** Stoltenberg has been mumbling about keeping the conflict inside of Ukraine. Reality may be dawning.
Thanks for this careful factual report. If only the valiant free democratic truthful and helpful peacemakers in the West would allow their people (or any people in their region of media control to ensure only the fake facts get heard) to hear about the Russian gas and oil normal reliable supply to Europe.
I presume that the Russians will warn us subtly (as he did here), later they will warn us and finally they will
obey “our” orders and cut it all.
I just saw from different countries different (mostly not directly voted) leaders proclaiming we will all suffer
” a while” before being liberated from Russian energy oppression. I do not think the “normal” people will take it,
but most will blame it on Putin anyway.
I talked with friends last weekend, they urged me “to explain”, as I am now considered being “an expert”, but they barely listen. Explaining 8 years of Donbass suffering is of no use, trying to show the images of the Russian human rights complaint: they do not want to see it. As I had too much irrefutable comments they finished by telling my wife to beware for my “Bolshevik stands”, whatever that means.
Thats how far gone the herd have become,we don’t have the time to educate everyone we meet about the situation thats brought us to this, their knowledge only goes back ten days to the last BBC report.
Am equally as puzzled as Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak. Russia is fulfilling all its contractual obligations but USA seeks to sanction Russia’s oil. Europe too. They are experiencing higher prices than ever before and the situation will keep on getting worse. So why the hell are they doing it? Is there a plan we mere mortals cannot fathom? Some argue that Biden and his gang have decided to accelerate the Great Reset whereby they transition to ‘Green energy’ as soon as possible and blame Russia for accompanying chaos and hardship. I cannot think of any sensible, reasonable logic behind it!
Three of the four US oligarchies (military, energy, finance, and “health”) directly benefit from this insanity. That is the “logic” you are looking for.
Both the US and the EU have a major goal to transition to ‘renewable energy’. Biden’s first act on taking office was to shut down the Keystone XL pipeline. He has also shut down oil and gas sales from the US vast public reserves, in addition to other gas pipelines. Russia is actually doing the US a double favor; i) helping to rapidly get rid of ‘dirty energy’, and ii) blaming the consequences on Russia.
Hahahah
So they didn’t make a deal with Venezuela, or Iran – yet they’re banning Russian Oil.
Wow. That stupid.
Good, actually. Let the decoupling be complete, it will be funny when in a year or so “gas tourism” happens with Kaliningrad and Belarus.
Can someone please summarise what he is saying as cc doesn’t work for me
He is saying: alright then, we’ll just take our toys and play with the other polite kids and make even more money in the process.
he didn’t even pout…😊
Here you go: https://russiaeu.ru/en/news/statement-deputy-prime-minister-russian-federation-alexander-novak-energy-issues
Now that the US has cut itself off from Russian oil instead of waiting for the Russians to turn off the juice, that makes it all the more impossible for the US government to shift the blame to the Russians once the political blowback commence in earnest. US institutions will face the full fury of the soon-to-come paroxysm of feral rage from the masses as gas blows past $10 a gallon.
I anticipated this back in 2020 – the US and its WEF/Davos allies drove the masses clinically insane with their terrorist “Covid” propaganda and largely were able to channel the insane mob’s energy. But now that all this latent energy is kinetic, the elites won’t be able to maintain control forever, and when the lunatic mass runs wild it’ll be something history never has seen before.
It’s beginning now.
His last statements – regarding a provocation against the Ukrainian gas pumping facilities – came across to me as a thinly veiled threat.
i.e. Don’t f*** with us or the Ukrainians will destroy the gas supply.
Get it?
I’m sure the western Powers will understand this …
They are lucky as well – as this spring seems to be relatively mild, at least in western Europe.
FredFromDredd,
I didn’t get that vibe. And the Russians don’t need to threaten.
They know the crazies are so firmly in charge, they will themselves blow up the Ukrainian gas infrastructure. Note the Russians always carefully respond – they never initiate any of these crazy moves.
Even during a war, they maintained gas through Ukraine to the enemy!
Unprecedented and mind-boggling.
It means, where events are headed is clear to both sides. Russians are denying them any alibis for posterity, given the catastrophes in motion.
Also mild weather is not the issue. We need to survive to next winter in order to worry about the cold.
– There is no fertilizer for planting season. What will folks feed on?
– Even Chinese grain carriers are afraid to move Russian/Ukrainian wheat from the Black sea ports given the risk. Does EU have back-up food supply?
– Nevermind the death of industry and most jobs, and cars can be parked, but will most be able to afford fuel for cooking or lights by the summer?
The Bastards of Deagle are impatient to hit their targets!
No need for Ukraine to blow up a section of pipeline to shut off the gas, just turn some valves.
Vladimir Vladimirovich is a man of Jesus Christ, acting on His behalf. 95% of us in the west are too dumbed down to realize it though.
Not so. Our Lord Jesus Christ commanded us to not resist evil, to love our enemies. And if we suffer in His name’s sake, great will our reward be in heaven.
With all of the austerity that the average people of “the west” are suffering and will continue to suffer, people must be wondering: just exactly what is the leverage that “the US” must have over “Canada”, “UK”, “Australia”, “Germany”, “Finland”, “Italy”, “Denmark”, etc. etc.? (And why do I put quotes around those words?)
First about the quotes. What does the word “nation” mean? It means, for one important example, the truly microscopic percentage of the human population that has recently come to control the area of the earth that is labeled/demarcated as Ukraine and, therefore, has full control over all of the resources, including human and military resources, on that particular area of the planet. That is what that word will mean in what follows. To clarify, the difference between “Ukraine” and Ukraine is that the former can be re-located anywhere in the world, whereas the latter can not.
We must understand that it is microscopic percentages of the human populations that live on meticulously delineated parts of the earth that go to war and commit genocide, not the 99.9% of the people that live within a nation’s borders. To drive this point home a bit further, when we say that “Russia”, “the UK”, “Canada”, “Australia”, “China”, “Japan”, “North Korea” or “the US” have done, or are doing, this or that, what we are in fact saying is that the separate microscopic percentages that control those places are doing, or have ordered to be done, this or that — to attack another nation, for example, or to ban “Russian” energy, for another.
There was a so-called “Great Financial Crisis” in 2008 and Dumbya eloquently said “this sucker is coming down”. By “this sucker” he meant the, for lack of a better expression, Old World Order economic/financial system. The Emergency Economic Stabilization Act was passed into law, not by R Dumbya, but by the highly-polished, virtuoso teleprompter reader D O’bomb’em. In short, this act allowed the Federal Reserve to “bail out” a bunch of US and, most importantly, foreign banks and, therefore, their Oligarch owners. That act made legal a new “coordination” between world central banks and other “financial authorities”. This coordination, for example, can result in a foreign central bank buying shares of US corporations — something that, so far, anyway, the Federal Reserve cannot do itself. So you have this sort of circle-jerk of central banks propping up the international stock markets. (This is similar to the “UK” spying on US citizens and giving that information to the “US” intelligence agencies when the “US” intelligence agencies doing the spying on US citizens would be illegal. This is why the 5 Eyes is so important. Without it, governments wouldn’t be able to, essentially, spy on their own citizens.) Much of this financial coordination is done by the very famous human beings that do their thing within the amazingly not famous “Group of 30”. Take a gander at the membership.
https://group30.org/members
A pretty diverse, pretty rich, pretty international bunch, don’t you think? I couldn’t think of a better bunch to guarantee the continuing existence of the western oligarchic transnational elite collective (WOTEC) and their TBTF banks – more correctly, “global systemically important banks” (G-SIBs).
https://www.fsb.org/wp-content/uploads/P111120.pdf
In short, the REAL purpose of the EESA, TARP and the Group of 30 is, above literally all else, to maintain the WOTEC as the WOTEC. Nothing else matters. Any amount of human suffering or death to achieve that goal is “worth it”.
Now back to “leverage”. The method of leverage is simple and has been employed for probably hundreds of thousands of years. VIP John Mearsheimer demonstrates this leverage when he tells “Australia” just exactly what it would mean if “Australia” improved relations with China instead of continuing to bow to US diktat.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IER2SGbjCWo
Transcript:
“Now, the question is: what does this all mean for Australia? Ahh, you’re in a quandary for sure. Everybody knows…..everybody knows what the quandary is. Security-wise, you really want to go with us. It makes just a lot more sense ….. right, uh,… you understand that security is more important that prosperity? ……. because if you don’t survive, you’re not going to prosper. Survival is of the utmost importance ‘cuz you can’t pursue any other goals if you don’t survive. Right. So security’s gotta be number 1,….. so you’ll sacrifice prosperity for security. Right. That’s what will happen. That’s why you’ll be with us. Now, some people say that there’s an alternative. You can go with China. You have a choice here. You can go with China rather than the United States. There’s two things I’ll say about that. Number 1, if you go with China, you wanna understand that you are our enemy. You are then deciding to become an enemy of the United States………..cuz, again, we’re talking about an intense security competition. You’re either with us or against us. And if you’re trading extensively with China….. and you’re friendly with China,……..you’re undermining the United States in the security competition. You’re feeding the beast, from our perspective, …. and that is not going to make us happy and when we are not happy, you do not want to underestimate how nasty we can be. Just ask Fidel Castro.”
Almost unbelievable, isn’t it? And this is a speech delivered to one of the US’s ass-licking vassal states! I believe that it is an absolute certainty that somebody equivalent to Mearsheimer has very recently delivered the exact same ultimatum to the microscopic percentages that ARE absolutely all of the US’s vassal states, wherever they may be in the world, and this includes the US’s relatively new mercenary-state “Ukraine”. “Canada”, “Ukraine” etc. either follow US diktat or they – the microscopic percentages — lose their WOTEC status and they and their 99.99 percents are going to suffer for the next 63 years as Cubans have for the last 63 years.
The 99.99 percents in these supposedly separate, sovereign “nations” have absolutely no say in whether they are going to suffer ever-increasing austerity in their lives. They’ll be told, as they are this very day, that “security” comes only with the loss of prosperity. The 0.01% WOTEC – the “nations” of “the west”– will do all the deciding for their 99.99 percents. The WOTEC must remain the WOTEC, at literally all cost and the cost is going to be astronomically, in fact, unpayably, high. (And this situation will be extremely difficult to resist because of that 24/7 5-Eyes spying.)
Where I’m currently at in Sarajevo, the price surge has been a dollar-a-gallon ($6.05 a gallon today) or ($1.60 usd per liter) over the past 7 days, which has also seen a massive run on flour, cooking oil, salt and sugar…and a blistering pro-Ukie media blitz running tandum with “time to join the EU before Moscow recognizes Republika Serpska/Ukraine is being invaded for no reason” propaganda. Panic ensues? – I read the RT editor resigned in Moscow, fearing a nuke first-strike by the West. She cited the source of her fear on the speculated western reactions to one man, VVP. Seems to be a bit too western-scripted for her position and as a long-time RT viewer, and retired writer editor who covered the reconstruction here 20 years ago, I’m taken aback. The u.s. congress also went lock-step (only two against) in voting (again) to provide lethal weapons to Ukraine. The leaders in d.c. and here in this nice mountain country, IMO, would be wise to take Moscow at their word when they say “no more NATO expansion in Europe.” Thanks for your work, Team Saker.
Please put a link to back up your comment about RT. Mod.
Guys, is it just me, or can I call the topic “yes, but who could be worthy enough after Putin leaves power? ” officially closed?
It seems to me like you have some more Statesmen, than all the west combined!
And don’t defenestrate me if there are more candidates, I’m just flabbergasted about the style and manner of this based announcement from the calm and clever deputy.
Wonder how long it will be before Russia pulls the trigger and just turns the gas off? i really wouldn’t blame them with all they have had thrown at them.
unmentioned is the “energy supply ” the uranium Russia sells to USA .. could be included for reciprocity???????
Even Lenin never expected that, having sold the rope, the capitalists would be so kind as actually to hang themselves.
Why the hell would Europe voluntarily hold a loaded gun to their heads and threaten to shoot? It just goes to show that all of their political systems are infiltrated with the enemy. I can’t imagine any other reason. I suppose Nudelman was right about one thing, Fuck the EU.
While people rush to kiss the feet of Zelensky, even some Ukrainians are now concerned that he is a puppet dragging their country to destruction all over Donbas. I have warned that this is going to turn into WWIII. China has now come out and warned the USA against trying to build what it called a Pacific version of NATO while declaring that security disputes over Taiwan and Ukraine were “not comparable at all.” They too are logging the same complaints against the US as Putin for creating biological weapons labs on their borders as well.
There are serious allegations that this is all being carried out to try to force Russia and China into the Great Reset and to comply with the United Nations’ mandates for climate change. It is hard to say whether these allegations are true or false. As always, time reveals the truth. supporting Zelensky also pushing for a continued war that Ukraine cannot win unless it gets so bad that they use this to justify NATO entering Ukraine.
My concern is that their mistake is they think they can take down Russia and then turn to China. Our model warns that that will be a fatal mistake, and China will join Russia.
https://www.armstrongeconomics.com/world-news/war/the-coming-wwiii/
Reliable sources have confirmed that Putin offered to stop the war instantly if Kyiv give up its army, change its constitution to become a permanently neutral country in accordance with the Budapest Agreement, and acknowledge Crimea as part of Russia along with Luhansk and Donetsk are to be free separate republics. Zelensky has refused. Luhansk and Donetsk have been fighting for their freedom ever since the 2014 Ukrainian Revolution. This is what was to be settled in the Minsk Agreement which has been dragging out for 8 years.
The real question many Ukrainians now have is Zelensky was elected promising to ease tensions with Russia but he has done the opposite even cutting off the water supply to Crimea. Should the Ukrainian people vote on this offer? Why put the country at risk for those provinces that are 98% Russian, to begin with? The fear has been that Zelensky is really a poppet for the West that wants a confrontation with Putin. They have created an Iron Curtain in the financial world and that is now simply becoming permanent. Russians are being discriminated against in Western Europe and America to the point that such bad blood has now taken place that the world is dividing and there is no return to normal. This is not just a new Financial Iron Curtain with Russia, we are looking at the same reaction with China that will support Russia at the end of the day.
China’s top diplomat just accused Washington of trying to create an Asian version of the U.S.-European NATO military alliance joining Japan, India, and Australia to create a similar NATO-like Asian block. He further warned that it is up to the Biden administration to improve relations with North Korea.
We are NOT on a path toward world peace. There is nobody interested in trying to reduce tension. Everything now is name-calling and hostility on every front.

While Cogent Communications, a major internet backbone provider that routes data across intercontinental connections, cut ties with Russian customers. It cited sanctions over the invasion of Ukraine. However, Putin is very strategic and despite the allegations that Russia intervened in US elections which turnout out to be false before the 2020 election Putin took steps in 2019 to protect Russia from American cyberattacks. He conducted tests in June and July to disconnect Russia from the global internet.
Putin chaperoned legislation, known as the “sovereign internet” law, back in late 2019 with the intent to disconnect the internet to protect the country because of what they saw as the “aggressive nature” of the United States’ national cyber security strategy.
All the sanctions that the Biden Administration has taken against Russia are in truth acts of war. Putin is clearly at this point preparing for an all-out war with the United States. The Biden Administration wants war. They have not made any attempt to reduce tensions since taking office.
China holds about $1 trillion in US debt. During the Quantitative Easing, China was reducing the average maturity moving more short-term. China has been taking steps to make its currency transition to a global currency. In order to do that, China had to loosen its peg to the dollar allowing the currency to float to appease forex traders in global markets. China’s economic growth has slowed over the years. However, what is significant in this dispute over Ukraine, as the economy contracts globally, China’s exports have declined thanks to COVID, and as this has taken place, China is also less able to invest in U.S. Treasurys going forward. Thus, the Biden Sanctions are so dangerous to the world economy, that we are looking at STAGFLATION and a decline in trade and debt accumulation by China, and even Japan which remains the largest foreign holder of US debt.
The Biden Administration’s vendetta against Russia for Climate Change and to accomplish the Great Reset, will fail. They have bitten off more than they can chew.

I regret to say that today in statements from European politicians regarding the energy situation we hear calls to stop receiving the Russian oil and gas.
The European officials yet again are trying to blame Russian for the mistakes and failures of their own energy policy of the last years.
As a result, we see a sharp increase in the energy prices.I can state with confidence that Russia has nothing to do with the current price rise and market volatility.
Concerning the supply of gas to Europe: Europe today uses approximately 500 billion cubic meters of gas per years, and Russia supplies 40% of that volume.
Russia has been a reliable partner for many decades regardless of any circumstances. Today, Gasprom is in full compliance with its contract obligation to deliver its gas to Europe.
Furthermore, deliveries via the Ukrainian transit system have lately increased, up to 109 million cubic meters per day. This amounts to approximately to 40 billion cubic meters delivered to the Europeans consumers per year.
The Ukrainian transit is also 100% compliant with the contract. There are also deliveries via the North Stream I, Yamal-Europe, Turkish Stream, Blue Stream.
We believe that because of the unfounded accusations of Russia as the cause of the energy crisis in Europe as well as sanctions against the North Stream II, we have every right to adopt mirror measures and put in place an embargo on the gas delivery to Europe via the North Stream I. By the way, this pipeline today is used at maximum capacity, i.e., 100%.
But for now, we have not made such decision. No one will benefit from such a measure. The European politicians, however, are pushing us towards this decision by their statements and accusations.
As far as the supply of the Russia oil and oil products on the European market is concerned, we should remember that Russia is the largest supplier of oil for Europe.
Europe consumes about 500 million tons of oil. Approximately 150 millions, or 30%, come from Russia, plus around 80 million tons of oil products.
Russia has always fulfilled its obligations and is doing so today. All orders are filled; the delivery of oils and oil products is done on schedule.
We are concerned when we hear statements about the possibility of an embargo on the Russian oil and oil products.
We see an enormous pressure being put on out partners, traders, transport companies, banks, and other financial companies. I would like to emphasize that such statements and action could only disrupt the market.
Today, we see the oil price exceed $130 per barrel. We all know well enough that the oil and oil products from Russia are today the most competitive in the European market.
Considering the well-developed infrastructure for the Russian oil deliveries versus the logistics of the deliveries by sea, it is obvious that an embargo of the Russia oil would lead to catastrophic consequences for the world market.
The price hike would be unpredictable – might reach $300/barrel, if not more. Besides, it is impossible to replace the Russian oil on the European market quickly.
It would take many years and come at a much higher price for the European consumers. In this scenario, they would be the main victims.
The European politician should then honestly warn their citizens what is in store for them: sky-high prices for electricity, at gas stations, for heating. This would impact other markets, including that of the United States.
If you want to refuse the energy resources from Russia, fine, we are ready for that. We know where we can redirect these volumes.
A question comes to mind: Who benefits from this? What is the purpose of such actions?
Attempts to start a discussion about the import ban undermine the very foundation of the market, create uncertainties, harm the consumers.
I would also like to comment on the situation regarding the Zaporozhye nuclear power station. Many fakes are circulating that the Russian military is attacking ZNPS.
I repeat: Russia has nothing to do with it. This is simply not true. The Russian military is working in cooperation with the Ukrainian specialists at the station.
We are in constant contact with IAEA; we inform IAEA leadership and always ready to offer technical help to the Ukrainian specialists in servicing the power station.
Furthermore, according to the information we have, a provocation is being prepared aimed at the Ukrainian gas transit system, specifically, against the gas pumping stations.
I want to warn you about this; this is extremely dangerous. Russia has no interest in such a thing. We are doing everything in our power to prevent this from happening.

Here is a pretty common sentiment on Russian social media right now:
I think this.
A Russian soldier goes to his death for the sake of victory for the fatherland.
The people of Russia, not in unison, but once again support the president, trusting him with the fate of their children and the future.
And every Russian, with his work and contribution to the country’s budget, participates in this conflict.
I think that the country’s leadership is simply obliged to get out of its skin, but do everything to ensure the material well-being of citizens.
Do not allow them to turn out to be extreme in the face of such a wild growth of the currency on which, through no fault of the people, the personal future of every resident of Russia depends.
Let anyone pay the price – Western companies, Russian officials with their relatives abroad, those corrupt officials who have not been able to cope with the task of import substitution for 10 years, let them pay raw Russian companies that have a great opportunity to sell gas for $ 3,000 and oil for 180. Yes, by any means!
Only the life of the people should not get worse! Fuck them with these European clothes, cars, grub their gmoshny poison, with all this useless fucking rubbish iPhone, iPad, aihuy. Give people confidence in the future! Give faith in justice! Give cheap gas, cheap gasoline, cheap loans, a job, a good salary, domestic natural grub, give subsidies, free medicine, high-quality and free education, let you feel like people so that you can live calmly and happily, so that you are no worse than an ordinary Arab in his emirates! After all, our country is much richer than the UAE, why the fuck are we so pathetic? Give fair trials, give tough anti-corruption, like in China. Help small and medium businesses!
Then you won’t have to fight anyone. All neighboring countries will be so fucked up that millions of emigrants from them will be brought down, as in the USA. And all sorts of Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia and others will themselves ask to be part of the country! And the people of Russia will carry their president in their arms and tear any alien ass for him. Then there will be no dissenters, there will be no rallies, there will be no flight of citizens abroad in search of a better life.
The people of Russia need respect, understanding and care from their leadership!
Do I understand correctly or not?
So what is to be done about that:
1. Around 1940 in the US several very big US companies tried to defy the governments defense orders. What did the US government do,they took over the running of the companies until they decided to cooperate. The answer is clear for Russia as well. The Duma has already said Russia should nationalize foreign companies as they said,”stabbing Russia in the back”. So don’t talk do it. Put the Russian managers,or deputy managers in charge of those companies for at least the duration of sanctions, and operate the businesses. Don’t allow the closing of anything down. Though maybe a change of name might be called for in a few cases, maybe Z-cola instead of Pepsi, and Z and V burgers shops instead of McDonalds, etc, etc. And with the new releasing of patents laws, lets see Russian factories start to build products based on those patents.
2. With the liberation of the area now know as Ukraine, the economy there is going to be in bad shape. Russia can not afford to let it sink anymore, that would risk giving more impetus to insurgency. The answer is to quickly integrate that economy as much as possible into Russia’s.And since the West will almost certainly be sanctioning there as well.Let factories spring up there making products from Western patents.
3.There should be a ready market throughout the region for those new goods produced in Russia and the former Ukrainian territories. As well as a ready market for those goods throughout the developing world.
4, Russia could/should also let it be known that there will start being one higher price for resources sold to hostile sanctioning nations. And a lower price for resources sold to friendly non-sanctioning nations. And that should include all resources, from energy products,to food and fertilizer.Lastly only allow nations on the friendly list to invest and own property inside Russia. All of those measures are long called for,and now is the best time to put them emplace.
The Russian government for now has a level of support for this operation of between 70-75 %. Don’t let that support fall because of inaction. Start being seen to be doing things to build the Russian economy ,and supporting the Russian people.Winning the war itself will be done. Now is the time to be sure to win the aftermath of the war. That is more critical than this war on the battlefield.
You are too soft and too kind, Russia. Cut off all energy to Europe now!!! Agree to lift ONLY when all sanctions are lifted.
People keep mentioning that Europe (or more precisely, the EU) is holding a gun to it’s own head and threatening to pull the trigger unless Russia obeys the US. Yes, from a logical standpoint it is idiotic, irrational and self-destructive, but people need to remember that in many ways the EU is like a unstable lover who threatens to kill themselves unless their former flame returns to them. The EU bureaucracy honestly believes that they are the perfect post-nation state that all countries secretly long to be and if a state rejects them and their ideology, clearly, it cant be because their interests are different, it’s because that country is too ignorant to know what’s good for them and the EU will throw a temper tantrum to have them come back
But it was Russia (or more accurately, Putin) who kept begging the EU to respect and accept and love them, but the hyper-submissive EU kept choosing to stick with its psychopathic domineering lover the US, including joining in kicking Russia when it was down then continuing to treat them with total disdain and contempt and threats.
Now the US is driving its psychopathy to the point of wanting to force the EU to commit murder-suicide vs. Russia and itself, and the EU is so desperate to prove its love and obedience that it’s complying.
Well world war 3 will not occur simply because Russia Invaded Ukraine.
But surely it could happen once the Oil Prices shoot up over the roof and Russia is painted as the culprit. As this will in turn affect everyone. As per the norm the western media will brainwash its people with their customary deceptive lies that Russia is the cause of the oil price hike and beat the war drums, and the sheep will dance to the tune. They will conveniently not mention it was they who instigated Russia to close the tap.
But the question is who will benefit from such a war? is it the europeans, the americans or the russians?
Re brainwashing vs inflation, it will be interesting to see which body part will dictate how people react, the mind or the stomach. In times of want it’s usually the stomach that takes over.
Germany cannot stop oil imports from Russia. Germany will not kill itself for USA.
But there is more. Donetsk region produces almost 50% of Sunflower oil. It will be in Russian hands henceforth.
Russia will overtake Ukraine as the largest producer of Sunflower oil.
The war is probably about that too.
US & EU probably told Ukraine to keep the oil producing region at all costs.
would you make an enemy of the only dentist in town?
Many credible economists & financial experts in the West have been warning that a catastrophic economic reset is unavoidable. It doesn’t seem illogical to speculate that managing that collapse in a manner that allows Western Governments to blame another party might be an attractive proposition. Although I have almost unbounded confidence in the monumental incompetence of Western leadership, politically & economically, the apparant deliberateness with which every aspect of the present crises is being exacerbated leads me to believe that near total economic collapse affecting global systems is intentional, and therefore unavoidable.
All that Russia needs to do is sit back and look at the Russian export resources that the West does not sanction … then announce that Russia will sanction that resource.
Boom! Cop that you Western leaches.
I admire Alexander Novak’s communications style. Plain, unthreatening, without hyperbole.
Nothing but the facts, with fundamental reason.

Unfortunately, regimes in the EU are more prone to mass suicide than US defiance.
