Oh boy, I re-ran it 7 times feeling amazing joy while looking at this clip, absurd and yet so full of love for common people. A lot of things are only visible to Russians – a migrant taxi driver from Tajikistan who mispronounces the street name (Rubel-shtein for Rubinstein), gets pissed off and swears in his mother tongue; migrant workers called here Gastarbeiter who attack a police officer; a museum guide who gets frustrated with children playing Angry Birds instead of listening to her; using a half of a banana peel as a vodka glass due to the lack thereof, and lots more.
It’s obscene, the song is an imitation of a typical sort of crime-lore, kind of convict songs but the video is a masterpiece. What a bewildering mix of the lowest depths and the specks of highest spirit.
Laughed until my sides hurt.

The clip was excellent, congratulation for those who create it.
I’d have fit right in with that group this morning,!! (Had a *moment* at work – in solitude, no vodka, sigh). That was priceless.
what can I say, I enjoyed it, even though I don’t understand a word of Russian!
