Wow,that is quite a journalistic coup for Graham. I’ve been following him since the early stages of the war in Donbass, and he has never faltered in his support for Donbass and Russia.I’m glad to see him get the opportunity for the interview. That should also get that seen throughout much of the West. He has both Youtube and Facebook sites.
I’m a fan of Graham as well. He is crazy but in a good way… Watched him since ’14.
However I am not watching this. Don’t care what a psycho has to say.
One prediction: this is one Phillips video that the BBC will not shamelessly rip off and relabel “Russian aggression”.
OK, I told a lie. I am curious to see what these two British guys have to say to each other.
Still, I won’t shed too many tears if I hear that Aiden is spending the next 50 years working in a palladium mine in the Urals. Or worse.
He was walking around Kiev doing covert filming. He went into the shops and bought food and then showed the date on the receipt as proof. The city had been set up like a film prop. The BBC was reporting bombing in Kiev although there was none. No damage to buildings, no Russian military present. The city was under curfew so hardly any people around. The odd Ukrainian armoured vehicle would appear on the “film set”. At the same time the BBC was reporting Russian bombing of the city. Graham showed the screen the date of his receipt that day then juxtaposed it with the BBC propaganda for that day showing non existent bombing.
Btw, Graham also went to Salisbury to report on the Skripal propaganda. It was an MI5 assassination attempt on Skripal and his daughter (she was just collateral damage). The assasination attempt went wrong when they survived due to the prompt action by Alison McCourt and the people of Salisbury.
Alison McCourt ………ah yes….her
The former chief nursing officer of the British Army, who helped the NHS set up the Nightingale Hospitals in response to Covid-19, is taking on a new role in the independent health sector.
Alison McCourt has been appointed as Nuffield Health’s clinical services director to provide leadership to its clinical teams across its network of hospitals, clinics and wellbeing centres across the UK.
She will be joining the organisation in August following a long career as a British Army nurse which has seen her deployed to Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq, and Sierra Leone.
In 2014, Ms McCourt was awarded an OBE for her role in helping to tackle the Ebola crisis in Sierra Leone, and then she received a CBE last year for services to military nursing.

Fox News had a livecam in Kiev during what was supposedly bombardment. Far as I saw it never showed any smoke, fires, dust clouds, or other evidence of any destruction. Just peaceful beautiful city.
Not sure GP can be called as “supporting” the Russian side. Please do not insult him by insinuating he stepped as low.
While – in today’s age when “an opinion is truth” and “facts are disinfo”, the EFFECT may be such.
But so far his whole stint around seem to be strictly about REPORTING*) what he was able to come around. I.e. sticking to either hard facts – or – factual interviews where he gives the platform to various people to speak.
Do not remember him ever “supporting” or “taking side” the way it is (now) normal in the media for the “journalists” to do.
*) The “old times” meaning of the word “reporter” was someone not expected/allowed to inclue any of own bias/opinion into what he/she was reporting about.
I feel no sympathy whatsoever with any foreign mercenary in the Ukraine.
Before getting on the ground, many were boasting how they would destroy and humiliate the Russian Army, now they’re all “oh please, have mercy”, “my son didn’ do nuffin”, oh don’t you have mercy Russia?
As we say in Brazil “God forgives, I don’t”.
The RuSMO and the Merc
– a fable adapted from Aesop
A merc of a very simple and trusting nature had been asked by a gay party of Azovultures to visit a city that had been newly infested. But the party ended dismally with all the birds entangled in the meshes of the RuSMO’s net.
The merc begged the RuSMO to spare him.
“Please let me go,” he pleaded. “I belong to the Albion family who you know are honest and birds of good character. Besides, I did not know the Azovultures were going to commit atrocities.”
“You may be a very good bird,” answered the RuSMO, “but I caught you with the rapacious Azovultures and you will have to share the same punishment with them.”
You are judged by the company you keep.
alt – Birds of a feather flock together.
To say it in a language these people are nostalgic of: Mitgefangen, mitgehangen (caught together, hang together).
After reading Dostojevsky I am against death penalty. No exception.
Not sure if yours was a PSYOP attack on Russians or if you are just confused.
But, this is not “the Russian way”. Never was. They lived through this for 70 years and decided that “no more or ever”.
Your fable is antithetical to the realites on the ground. The Ukies behave like you project on the Russians. That is why so many innocent people suffer so much in Ukraine and why this whole conflict keeps escalating to begin. Due to the utter lack of undestanding that people are fallible. All of them.
If you have a consciense, think about it please. If not, ignore please and carry on spewing the hate crap. No one will listen anyway.
Not sure if yours was a PSYOP attack on Russians or if you are just confused.
But, this is not “the Russian way”. Never was. They lived through this for 70 years and decided that “no more or ever”.
…
The new news is with Shaun Pinner and Aiden Aslin asking Boris Johnson to go to bat for them and work to exchange them for Ukrianian opposition party member Viktor Medvedchuk.
Now there is one heck of a deal. “Come to Ukraine and kill Russians. If you’re captured, we’ll arrest a few Ukrainian MPs or opposition party members that will be traded for you and maybe a few other ‘pro-Russian civilians too. Once you get back home, we’ll give you a bonus and fly you back to Ukraine to do it again!!! We have unlimited numbers of pro-Russian civilians, MPs, and opposition members to use as prisoner exchange pawns.”
Nah. The Mercs made their own beds, let them sleep in them. Prisoner exchanges soldier for soldier for Ukie and Russian military members? Ok. Mercenaries should be at the end of the line. And exchanges of military for civilians should be off the table. That would just lead to an endless cycle of Ukrainian civilian kidnappings.
He has been fighting in Ukraine, Syria and Afghanistan since 2018. He lives in Ukraine with his GF/ wife. He now claims he had no clue of the CIA’S swastika wearing Ukrainian military and was ” shocked ” at the horrors they were committing.
He like all mercenaries is no more then a terrorist who enjoys slaughtering innocent people for the right amount of money.
I doubt the CIA’S COMEDIAN would trade his prize prisoner for 2 Brits that neither Ukraine or the UK governments give a damn about.
Every Mercenary should be hung or imprisoned for life.
Me neither also because this one and the other one 48 yo are both British spies. Both double citisenship, married ukrainians, previous shady places for missions, both in Ukrainian marines, aislin was arrested in UK some years ago for terrorism but realeased (they realised they arrested their own spy :).
The other ones wife ngo worker, NGO’s being as we all know agents factories. Both in Azovstal where there is such a huge interests I wonder if we will ever have confirmation on what is really there below.
Anyway they are both spies, this is why they beg Boris, spies, UK spies

How do you work out they are dual nationals ? Unless you think they are Israelis which I doubt, I cannot believe they are other than British Citizens.
It was a neat ploy of Russia and Ukraine to humour them with prisoner exchange for a Ukrainian politician. That was a trap Johnson was not going to fall into. Easy to see through.
Acknowledge them as your own and show how accommodating Zelenski is selling the imprisoned Opposition politician for two British mercenaries who should face prosecution under 1870 Foreign Enlistment Act……….and Trussed Lizzie did encourage people to go to Ukraine after all?
That was too near Co-Belligerancy Status to go out on a limb for a couple of deadbeats
It was reported in UK press that they are married with Ukrainians and that they have double citisenship.
Under these circumstances, why they ask Boris help? As they were actually working for uk, as spies. Bith arrived in Ukraine at the same time, about 4 years ago, in Azovstal, enrolled in maries it is something very shady in these two situation, but both claim they have Ukrainian and British citizenship!
A casualty of the mad frenzy of propaganda, maybe. The money didn’t hurt though, did it, Aiden. You were, after all, going there to kill people and get paid for it.
I’ve often wondered how much this sack-of-s+#t would get paid as a mercenary. Anybody know?
It was never the money.
It was the thrill kill.
This is the actual face of evil….and it’s so…banal.
How and why would anyone swap one rotten apple for an old tree, still having much fruit to bear? But anyway you look at it, its “perfect swap” knowing that Medvedchuk is in minds of Ukrainians worth millions unlike some retard mercenary, but at the same time Boris Johnson is pinned to the public wall with will he support bringing home one poor British kid or not. I wonder what excuse (or better say a blatant lie) will Boris come up with this time.
At the start of the war they were saying 2000€/day. Yes, 60.000€/month.
that shows you who it was that thought it was going to be a short war…
That should be in American dollars since the CIA were paying them
Britain has its own intelligence agency and acts hand in glove with the CIA, and often on its own initiative…there are no innnocent victims in Europ, especially not in Britain. In fact the British are culturally Russophobic. In the US Russophobia comes from ignorance , and a constant pressure from ruling class media and govt. agencies that since ww2 have been riddled wiith Polish, Czeck Ukrainian, Latvian and Estonian Russia- hating emigres – to wit, Breszinsky , Applebaum, Kagan, Soros, etc.,ect., etc.,
“to kill people and get paid for it.”
The purpose of some is to transcend coercive social relations by mutual cooperative social relations.
Coercive social relations create opportunities, necessities, and motivations for the “mercenary professions”.
Hence a component of strategic conversations and implementations will be the question – How to transcend mercenary practice and professions with the minimum of blowback ?
As Mr. Mao observed the longest journey starts with the first step.
For about a week, my thoughts were “let this guy hang.” But after the interview, the part of me that is human genuinely wishes that he is being truthful about his regret. Clearly, he is trying to save his ass and I don’t know that I believe everything he says but the humanity in me really wants to believe he is sorry.
What sets the Russians apart from these animals (as appropriately used by Phillips) is the morality of the fact that they are not repaying the Ukie scum “tit for tat.” As a Christian, the hardest thing to do is forgive and I think I understand, at least partially, why our Lord commanded that. Hatred breeds more hatred. Of course, I haven’t been shelled for eight years, but I still hope that the good people of Donetsk elect to show mercy.
He doesn’t need an all expense paid trip back to one of the Empire’s vassels (the UK). He should spend the rest of his life helping to rebuild what was destroyed.
Sure. Send him back home…as soon as he help rebuild what he and his Nazi friend managed to destroy.
Well some German POWs didn’t get back to Germany for at least ten years, that sounds about right ten years on a chain gang in Donbass, looking at the interview i didn’t believe most of what he said, this guy didn’t go out there seven weeks ago,it was years ago same with Pinner i believe,if he is lucky enough to get back home will be interesting to see if he changes his tune again, good point Phillips made was about the treatment of Russian POWs,the media here are total scum accusing Russians of all sorts of horror and covering up real horror carried out by the Ukrainians.
German POWs were only released in 1955 because Khrushchev wanted a gesture to please Adenauer.
Lots of US GIs taken prisoner in Korea died in Soviet camps like Norilsk and Magadan – just as British RAF crews were gassed in Auschwitz.
100,000 Germans became POWs at Stalingrad. 5000 came out
“German POWs were only released in 1955 because Khrushchev wanted a gesture to please Adenauer.”
No not primarily.
The prisoners helped in rebuilding the infrastructure of the Soviet economy which was at a reasonable level by 1955, and rebuilding the centres of Minsk and housing blocks including in Kemerovo, Novosibirsk and Omsk.
The were in part rewarded for their good work which still is apparent today, particularly in Minsk, whilst some former prisoners of war decided to stay in the “Soviet Union” and received propiskas for Kemerovo, Omsk (a city closed to foreigners from the 1930’s until 1988) and other locations.
“Lots of US GIs taken prisoner in Korea died in Soviet camps like Norilsk and Magadan”
Norilsk was initially a camp network to build Norilsk from scratch, but not with benefit of lots of us GI’s taken prisoner in Korea.
” just as British RAF crews were gassed in Auschwitz.”
Auschwitz was a Greater Reich production, before it became the Polish production of today with benefit of cafe and gift shop, not a “Sovet” one, although it was liberated by troops of “The Soviet Union”; Sobibor in a sense also being liberated by a Rostov on Don former Red Army captured “Soviet Jew” – Alexander Petschersky – and his co-conspirators of former Red Army soldiers and other Jews deported from various European countries, including Regina Zielinsky from Poland.
Whilst Magadan remains a big place with reduced population from its heydays.
Let me suggest an observation on catalysing connotations which may improve your facility in this area.
https://www.rt.com/shows/worlds-apart-oksana-boyko/553987-liu-xin-gap-perception-reality/
100,000 Germans became POWs at Stalingrad. 5000 came out
That was fair retribution for the extremely serious crimes of the Wehrmacht, by individual soldiers as well as by commanders. That 5% return rate should serve as a 21st Century marker for how these war criminals should be treated today.
To be more accurate, a significant portion of the captured Germans were already seriously wounded, out of food for weeks, suffering from frostbite, etc. so many of them would have died under the best of circumstances, and Stalingrad in January 1943 did not exactly have the best of circumstances. Face it: Nazism is a death trip and any sympathy would be a mistake.
I have no idea what Graham thought he could accomplish by this interview. I have no interest in “jailhouse conversions” because I’m not stupid enough to believe them, especially with a hardened criminal like this mercenary. Early in watching the interview, I realized the hard question of how Aidan was recruited to the Ukraine was not going to be asked, and I didn’t want to see them playing “catch: with any more soft balls. I “gave it a pass” as the Brits say. I watched Graham Phillips since 2014, always liked his stuff and respected his “reportage”. He is one of just a few Brits I can stand, really. I hope to watch Graham Phillips videos in the future that live up to his usual standard.
He was in Ukraine for years and obviously never felt regret during all that. Just because a person sings a different tune when they are caught doesn’t mean they are sincere. He stayed with the Ukrainian forces while they were committing atrocity after atrocity. People like him would go back to being a mercenary (it’s their career and lifestyle) once released. At minimum he should be kept in prison until he is too old to do much/any damage to others.
Place him in hand made brick factory & “until he is too old to do much/any damage to others”.
Absolutely not! Why? Because show him mercy and he will be back to do the same thing again. Perhaps not in Ukraine (he will be having nightmares about the Russians for the rest his short life), but he will go somewhere else, where he would be the top dog, and kill and torture the native population. In addition, showing him mercy wil encourage thousands like him to do what those scumbags do for living. Let me finish by saying:
“God forgives! I am not God!”
A slight twist on a well known saying “Do onto him as he has done unto others”!
Showing mercy is absolutely desirable. That is what makes us humans.
And he was already shown aplenty of it. He is alive to begin.
And there is a reason Geneva conventions were drafted. Assuming he is not found guilty of any “extra-curricular” activities, there is no reason for him to not be released after the conflict is over. But not before.
That should do it.
One Geneva convention applies to non-combatants and the other Convention applies to soldiers who are captured. Mercenaries and real terrorists are not protected.
Well, hot damn! Let’s just gas every last one of them and become just like the enemy. When did I say ‘send him home?’ You assume “mercy” means letting him run around. No, it doesn’t. Mercy in this context means letting him live, quite frankly. I never suggested letting him go free nor did I say I believed him. By all humanity, I desparately want to believe him but yeah that apparently holds no currency here.
But fine, whatever. Screw that crap. Obviously, he felt no regret. We all can “sense” it, with our morally superior senses right? Kill the bastard. Kill every last one of them. Spit on his grave and let’s show those bastards what we’re really made of. Yeah that’s right. Hatred breeds more hatred.
“God forgives. I am not God.” Maybe that is all for the best. Maybe sometimes I get forgiveness when I don’t deserve it, eh?
If he were a real Nazi, he wouldn’t be talking to Graham and there would be no real possibility of him being “traded.” This guy is just a pitiable douche who happened to believe the bullshit spewed by the Empire. And sadly, there is a lot of that where I live.
Is he genuinely sorry? I don’t know but I hope so. Sad thing is, you want me to say “I hope he isn’t and I hope he dies.” Ok fine.
I agree with you.
“This guy is just a pitiable douche who happened to believe the bullshit spewed by the Empire.”
No. I believe he is an operative of the UK government. These types are in all the places the UK is attacking by proxy. They go from Chechnya to Bosnia to Iraq to Syria to Ukraine. Some of them have written books such as John MacPhee. They have authentic military background and they aren’t kept by their government from going to serve in these wars or arrested and kept in jail for any length of time in their home countries. They often liaison with the UN and their own forces, if they are there, such as what these mercs did in Bosnia. I’ve read their books, or at least parts of them.
Exactly.
Did anyone else think this was strange or am I making too much of it?
The weird/odd thing here is that he asked to be swapped for Viktor Medvedchuk by name. Imagine some enlistee-level, sad sack that made the wrong decision in the Second World War, got captured and then asked to be exchanged for Field Marshal Friedrich Paulus (the most high ranking German POW of the war). One would be insane to think that, never mind say it numerous times.
In another world, I would like to believe this doofus, but thanks to the CIA and their Color Revolutions, I don’t think we can trust anything. Hopefully Putin, Lavrov and the DPR can figure out what really happened with this guy and do the humanitarian thing if it is required, as they have been more than forgiving, patient and incredibly reasonable these last eight years.
As soon as he discovered the CIA providing Hummers to the Azov Battalion that was his cue to get out and he missed it. IMHO
He faces a war crimes trial. He could not be ignorant of the fact of shelling civilians in the Donbass ever since 2014. He cannot have missed the Gorlovka Madonna and the 6,500 dead from indiscriminate shelling of large cities, 15,500 wounded. His outfit was proud of killing those Russian speaking civilians, he cannot have been ignorant.
The hangman’s rope is the only just solution for this flabby murderer with the eyes of a snake. If it were possible to use him to help repair the ruined cities, that would be a good thing, but the fact is he would be counterproductive – he would have to be guarded, fed, clothed, etc. Far more efficient to hire actual construction workers and hang this unreliable murderer who is more likely to take any opportunity to kill his guards and escape.
Also, I get very tired of the Nazis being called “far right”. They were national socialists, just like communist socialists, “far left”.
A wife? He didn’t care much about her it seems. What about the wives and children he participated in killing? The husbands and sons? All for the offense of speaking Russian and refusing to submit to the genocide of the CIA installed puppet government?
If he had fallen into the hands of Givi or Motorola i doubt he would have been alive to reach Mariupol.
now THOSE two doodes were quality.
I tear up.
Prolly the WORST thing a war does. Kills the best of the best.
😌
RIP
ps. I have a shitload of vids of them and the resistance back from 14 and on. If interested, gimme a shout.
Nope. Real Nazis and ISIS did and will cry like babies and sing like canaries when caught. That is what they do and have been proven to have done many times. Evil can and is banal ,just as many Nazis in WWII looked and acted like nerds and incels. Shoot him now.
This guy is a British intelligence hired killer. Previously he spend years in Syria helping the Daesh fight against Syria. Once it was over in Syria, he was ordered to move to Ukraine because he’s good at fighting the Russian – Chinese Axis. He deserves the harshest possible treatment. One just doesn’t go to other countries killing people there. Basically he’s a top murderer.
If this guy is ‘British intelligence’, then RF never needed to cross the border, as Ukraine would have imploded in on itself within a month.
He was never even a Squaddie. He was a Carer in Newark. He got bored and went off for adventure. I doubt he even has basic tradecraft as a soldier.
“hired killer” ??? You are a joker. He is hardly Royal Marines or Para or SAS or SRS or SBS or even a Guards soldier……..he is a runt who went wherever a rifle and a paycheck was offered
he is a runt who went wherever a rifle and a paycheck was offered
How can you possibly know that ? Cause he talks softly and seems nice and cuddly ?
What do you think he was doing in Syria ? He admits to helping the US-run YPG, and they steal the lifeblood of Syria, its oil and wheat.
Can anyone be so stupid as to spout such nonsense ? No ? Can anyone be so stupid as to think anyone reading these comments would accept such swill ? Likely a paid troll.
If one paid attention, what Russia tried to do before the SMO was to carry out a Biblical Matthew18 diplomatic appeal process with the West and the US regarding all their issues involving security and protection of life. The world will see the truth soon. Some will repent. Some will gnash their teeth. Russia is not perfect but she has been way more loving and patient than the liars who run the West.
Of course the powers that be in Washington DC hate Christ and His Word. Ok. Put me on the no fly list now.
No mercy here Matt. This is all happening because SSSR showed mercy to many Bandera followers after WW2, same as Serbs in Yugoslavia showed mercy to Croats and Muslims in comunist Yugoslavia. Denazification has to be done 150% now. All extreme nationalists and nazi scum together with dogs of war have to be on trial and hanged. Crime which is not punished will repeat. Like Croats, muslims, Albanians made mass murders and exodus on Serbs during 90ts and they all were Hitler allays during WW2. They see mercy as your weeknes not your Christian forgivnes. Simple as that. Evil has to be punished hard extreamly hard so they will be sceard of doing harm to Russians ever again.
As a half-Croat I wish I could call you a liar, but you´re quite correct I´m afraid.
None is past redemption – that’s what the gospel is all about. If we are too root out evil we can only answer with good.
Actually, he is as far from being a merc as any merc would tell you there is.
OTOH, he prolly killed people indirectly by being a mortar crew.
5 years hard labor does it for me.
I am culturally christian, a softie. sue me.
He isin´t so tough now, eh? Scumbag.
This thing is still alive?!
The only thing that should save him for hell is give him a pound of Rope and he will finish the job before wasting a bullet. He is a paid Russian KILLER. We had already seen them in India in 1857 and they never stop killing for profit as just seen in Iraq, Libya and on and on.
He says he didn’t want this war, but he sure relished the idea of shelling Russian speaking citizens of Donetsk and Luhansk. Let him rot in jail, he does not deserve to be free. When your life is on the line, we all become good actors. I don’t find him genuine, not even one iota. Just wants to save himself….try to imagine for a second how much hate-filled Russian bashing nonsense his wife has fed him over the years. This does not et undone, maybe ever. So, put him to work, rebuild/clean up the areas he shelled with vim and vigor previously. Let the locals interact with him, see how long he lasts.
Come on folks, you’d all be singing for your supper in his predicament.
I want you all to sing along with me to
one of my all time favourites – don’t be shy, if you have hair, let it down.
‘Sing, sing a song
Make it simple, to last the whole day long
Don’t worry if it’s not good enough
For anyone else to hear
Just sing, sing a song’
La la lala la la lala lala la la
OR
Alternatively
Open all your windows in the house and on full volume play ‘Whiskey In the Jar’ (Thin Lizzy ), preferably after 02.00 am.
Aiden Aslin looks well fed. There are lots of hungry stray dogs in Ukraine. Just an idea…..
Russians should use him as a human shield haha
I’m from Uk…this guy is a WANKER!!
Interesting idea. However, have you thought how much harm it will do the dogs to feed on such low quality meat? As a dog lover, I protest such cruelty to dogs.
Ramsay Bolton from game of thrones as a punishment idea – Nah, I prefer classical , Christopher Marlowe’s Edward II
I have more concern for the stray dogs and cats than this POS..
I don’t know what the going rate was for a mercenary at the time when he first signed up or when he last re-upped his contract (6 months ago), but for sure it’s more than a regular Ukie soldier. And he expects to be believed when he says he was only at hq and the most he did militarily was load mortars?? Nah …. he’s lying to save his own skin, knowing he could get a death penalty.
There must be “colleagues” of his who can give more perspective on what he actually did in the Ukraine.
If he goes on trial, this evidence surely will be dug out and brought into the light.
Then commenter on blogs like this and social media, etc., will have a lot more to go on than is currently the case and will be able to form “informed opinions.”
Forgiving terrorists is God’s business, sending them with him is the task of the Russians
This man has done what he has done. No one can bring back those he has killed in the Ukraine or Syria. Ultimately God will judge him. But while he is in the hands of Russia he could be used in a PR spectacular. Russia could suggest that the Brits swap the world’s best journalist, Julian Assange, for this lowlife mercenary. This would certainly embarrass Boris Johnson and it could save Julian’s life.
Hell YES!!!!!!!
Best idea ever. Focus on the British Archillies Heel, their refuge in claims of rule of law and all that hypocritical bullshit. You can save this scumbags miserable butt from a Russian War Crimes Tribunal, if, and only if, you swap him for Julian Assange and his family.
Sorry about the caps, it is a point that needs making more than ever
Actually since they have two British mercenaries on hand make it a two for one swap for Assange.
Michael Thomas: This is the best idea ever!
Swap for Julian Assange: I like that idea.
Although it is the Yanks who ultimately want Assange.
So, the Russians need to snag an American merc and offer a combined package in trade for Julian Assange.
As other have state here a brilliant idea! Russia has no need for Aslin and probably would agree to it. Britain probably not though.
The Brits can’t take a shit without US permission, in triplicate. At ease boy!
The rotten US Establishment would sanction Boris Johnson’s oversized underwear and some if they let Julian depart for Russia. Anywhere else they’d kill him.
Good idea. Definitely worth a try.
Unfortunately such an offer would suggest that Assange was working for the Russians, and all that implies.
Excellent idea. Why not swap this him with J. Assange.
+1
if only someone from the ministry of defense showed the slightest interest of being into the info war…Is there a building housing it? a budget? Employees?
Anyone told them the vacation is cancelled?
Jezas…hire Jones for effs sake…
Does anyone know what his fiancee/wife/handler looks like? That might tell you what you need to know…
Well it would put that Bunteresque clown Johnson in a tough position.
This guy did the media circuit several years ago, too: https://www.express.co.uk/showbiz/tv-radio/723664/Good-Morning-Britain-Aiden-Aslin-ISIS-carer-police-Kate-Garraway
This is not good. You have Zelensky arresting his main opponent then Medvedchuk’s wife asking Putin that he be involved in a prisoner of war exchange followed by Medvedchuk asking the for same. Now we have two British mercs, who are now guests of the Russian army, giving videos on the same day asking the British PM Johnson to help facilitate a prisoner exchange between Medvedchuk and themselves.
As much as this disappoints me this tells me that an exchanges is a real possibility. The two Brits are in custody and the Russian authorities would of had to allow them to make such a video and then release it. By allowing this to happen it seems as if Putin will trade these two criminals for Medvedchuk. I hope I am wrong, because these two criminals need to be tried by a Russian war crimes trial and hopefully convicted.
Putin is going to need pro-Russian Ukr politicians for the aftermath. Who better then someone traded for 2 Brit mercs?
He is a mercenary and should be tried as such, killing people for money rather than country. Will say whatever he needs to to stay alive.
Tried and, depending on the evidence, executed.
Such an outcome might discourage others from taking the “merc” path in life.
That would a be positive outcome.
It is not my place to make any suggestion about this guy: The people of Donbass, who fought and died and had this war thrust upon them, and whose defenseless families were cut down, and who are now winning, don’t need my suggestions.
I will say this: I shuddered when he seemed to know exactly the name of the person whose life his was worth exchanging for. It brought into sharp focus, for me, why people spent decades in Siberian labor camps in the USSR: This kind of feeling of one’s own self-worth without really facing what one has been a party to, as one equal human being to another, can be very deep-seated.
No need for Siberia. Wont survive there. Plenty of “malenkij robot” in place and needed.
History has taught us that You should never join those who planned against The Great Russian Army, many tried and failed miserably… Even when they thought they could win, they did not.
Wow.
So, I had a job once, where I was employed by a Swiss employment company that assigned me to an American fortune 500 company where I actually worked for another American fortune 500 company telling their customers how to reset their over-priced phones.
So, now war is like that too.
Sounds like a good time to remember Yossarian’s Law …
“The enemy is anyone who is trying to get you killed. No matter what uniform they wear.”
— character Yossarian, “Catch-22”, Joseph Heller.
Now that everyone is a temp on employment contract, that rule sounds more important than ever, here in the capitalist west.
I am not sure what to think about Aslin. If he was not attached to the Azov battalion then he might not have know about what they were doing. While the Russians are forced to fight the standard Ukraine forces they don’t seem to harbor the same anger towards them as they do the Nazi forces (very understandable).
The problem I see for him is that any prisoner exchange will have to be negotiated with the Kiev government. It is unlikely that they would want him back. He might get released as part of a multiple prisoner exchange but they are not going to release him for a major political prisoner. Since he no longer supports the war would Britain want him released?
Amazing Interview
but a message to Americans, Canadians, Europeans, Aussies, Kiwis, all Westerners
be angry with Aden
but save your wrath for the NeoCons, the Warmongers, media prostitutes, in sum all those forces that created this war. Find them. Prosecute them. Hang them.
Remember VIctoria Nuland passing out cookies in Maidan Nezalezhnosti.
Remember she worked for Obama. Remember just a few weeks later Israeli IDF snipers sitting on roof tops, killing people indiscriminately. They wanted the conflict. They wanted to draw Russia into another Afghanistan meat-grinder with Ukrainian victims.
These monsters destroyed Serbia, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Afghanistan (40+ countries participated in murder) These monsters still hold people in dungeons and torture chambers around the world, not just Guantanamo and they do it all for power, money and control.
Don’t take your anger out on Aden.
Find your neighborhood politicians, media, Confront them. Make them pay for the millions that have died or suffered during these last thirty years.
As long as the NeoCons are in power there will be no peace.
Aden is a tool of the evil ones. & foot soldiers like Aden carry out their evil work and help destroy a country. If there weren’t so many like Aden, then these wars would be shorter and with less atrocities.
I can’t believe any woman could marry this kind of killer and expect their children to be good, balanced people!
What a weasel, such a dissembler.
Nothing he says adds up; the whole story is carved to adjust to current circumstance.
Don’t believe anything he says about motives, regret, nothing.
He wants to leave Donetsk and forget about it … not atone by helping to rebuild.
He’s a little suck, an opportunist without any morality.
Worth less than a chanced upon mongrel dog.
O, by the way, Dutch television is pretending everything he says is coerced (naturally, wasn’t he in custody of Russians?).
Official journalism here now (and always has) views all Russians as kept in the dark by autocratic propaganda ordered by Darth Putin Vader. We know how they think & why, and how Putin thinks, they just don’t understand any of it themselves, poor deceived savages.
Every piece of news is filled with lies, at least one per sentence.
I have yet to hear them distinguish the Russian army and LDNR troops or the Chechyns. Why Mariopul, I’ve heard 50× because it’s so strategic, never one word about the Azov battalion. Never a breath about the people who voted 98% to join the LDNR but were crushed by Nazi’s. Strike on Lviv, no mention of destruction of imported NATO sent weaponry. Every attack is just indiscriminately targeting of civilians, b/c you see, that’s how Russians are. They can’t help it. They’ve always been beasts. And so on and so on.
Ah. Confirmed by Azov. Confirmed by Zelenskiy. Still going on about the heroes of Snake Island…
So what can you expect from people who can’t figure out there’s something fishy going on when they read about the Salisbury Tales of Scripal. [Whose handler was the ex-MI6 mission chief in Moscow, Pablo Miller, who worked at Orbis alongside Christopher Steele, was protected against mention in the media by D-Notices by the UK government, and probably used Scripal to lend some authenticity in terms of form & tone to the Steele dossier, reason he has now been disappeared — after all, who can trust a double spy who takes the highest bid?]
I see no sense in killing this guy and I’m not saying that because he’s a fellow Brit. If he was Italian or Spanish or German, same goes; maybe not the Poles though, they’re particularly nasty.
Even if he was 10 times more zealous than he’s making out he’s no Nazi (unless proven otherwise ) ; his wife being Ukrainian I reckon gets him more brownie points.
If you can exchange him (and the other 007/MI6 shaken not stirred ) for lets say 50 Russian/DPR/LNR POW’s then great.
If you think about it he could have been killed anytime over the last 4 years with next to no publicity, but no stray bullet had his name on it.
Call me a bleeding heart . . . . .
Here’s a reason for ya: it will send a message loud and clear (especially since this scumbag is very public): if you come to Ukraine to kill Russians as a mercenary your will treated by protocol, i.e. trialed, sentenced, executed and eventually sent home in a body bag.
There is value in not compromising on this for other reasons as well. Think about what how the people of Donbas would feel about seeing this guy get off the hook.
Apart from this I’d personally like the entitlement and perceived impunity for this category of scumbags to be put to an end.
Yes, I’m not the one to make these decisions.
Still, exchanging this relatively low level operator for the captured sons and daughters of Donbas/RF is for me a no-brainer.
What’s lurking in the back of my mind is this – Who were the Americans/NATO painstakingly trying to free from Mariupol?
They went to significant lengths/risks for someone or more in those tunnels.
Been wondering about this as well, but we might never find out now when the RF seems to be determined to end the Azovstal saga and less concerned abt preserving the infrastructure.
Still there’s the possibility that some of the people who left from there and are now in captivity know something. Staying tuned for this.
Exchange him for Zelinsky.
I Had mixed emotions from CossackGundi…part was feeling bad for an Autistic Kid, part thinking how fucking stupid could you be? Part thinking he’s delusional, thinking he should get traded for a Billionaire…I think he was genuine about wanting to help rebuild Mariupol. He should have been talking about staying no matter what to help rebuild, involving his own funds…penance has to be paid. No one’s really trying to kill Lenny, either…
“I think he was genuine about wanting to help rebuild Mariupol.”
I agree with you. He’s also worth more alive than dead.
What a saint ! …
Of course he will not be killed. It may well be that Donbass forces occasionaly execute a mercenary, but not ones shown on camera. He may be tried for specific crimes if it could be proven, or just for belonging to extremist organization, if there is legal framework in place. I would make him physically work hard on rebuilding Mariupol for say five years, then release him.
It is possible that it will be like you tell…
Sincerely, It would be quite problematic to expose such guys to the public they harassed for years or put them in contact with resources that could be used to promote sabotage. Would you trust to cross a bridge with a truck, take a train, or even live in a home built by such [placeholder for really heavy bad words] ? Let’s create jobs for the honest people there in Donbass working to rebuild their cities.
As usual, alone, without loaded guns, facing the consequences of their acts and law enforcement, all they convert into soft speaking, “mislead” and “oppressed” people…
Same pattern of very coward and monstrous criminals, real serial rapers/murderers acting in other places.
He’s lying, deflecting, and dissembling.
My favourite line “I’m not an idiot…” LOL
He’ll have many lonely days to reflect.
I would wait about a week for the video to get shared, then dump him off in Kiev, very publicly with a heads up to Azov and the media. Then the BBC can try to explain away how their guy was killed by Nazi’s in Kiev after being released unharmed by Russia.
This is by far the best comment here. If this “caregiver” from the British working class is a victim of his own stupidity he has nothing to fear. A very public, here he is, left on the side of the road of down town Kiev. Best of all that same street the UK Clown PM and the Jewish Puppet walk down on their photo shoot.
But, NO, Russian forces must not surrender this person or any other that are mercenaries until all trials are held in fair and open courts.
Always follow the money to the truth. The money runs out the the truth comes out.
this guy’s a loser. stop giving him airtime
The Russians will find out just how enthusiastic a ukie he was, they’ll ask his compadres and then cross reference what they get.
I can’t believe he sees himself as of equal value to the russian bloke, I wouldn’t trust him not to defect before doing much of any promised rebuilding work, and I doubt Boris is going to be swayed by his “help me out mate” attitude, especially as he was already in the process of quitting being British…
I don’t want him back, I wonder how many other Brits feel the same?
he did the same thing five years ago. https://www.express.co.uk/showbiz/tv-radio/723664/Good-Morning-Britain-Aiden-Aslin-ISIS-carer-police-Kate-Garraway
“The Russians will find out just how enthusiastic a ukie he was, they’ll ask his compadres and then cross reference what they get.”
Not only.
He was talking with a quite skilled journalist, not being interrogated by an experienced designated interrogator who does not resort to torture under any circumstances, since torture is primarily used to “corroborate” a pre-existing, pre-masticated narrative, and hence popular in “The United States of America”.
What a friggin’ moron.
I think the point of mercenary force is that if they’re captured, they’re of no value to anybody. Nobody comes to their rescue. They’re expendable. They were purchased. Once captured, they are valuable only as slave labor.
He really only has two options: the Russians decide to treat him a legitimate prisioner of war or the DPR execute him. His story is shaky at best, though the Russian stuff about him being an intelligence asset is nonsense.
This guy is clearly very well informed about what is going on around him (even after 1 week in captivity) and tries to sell the BS story of not being aware of what was happening in Donbass (for 8 years!) while he was having the time of his life cruising through various units of the Ukraine armed forces committing God knows what atrocities.
I would just like to point out how he shows no remorse/grief what so ever over what has been happening to the children (and adult civilians) of Donbas. All he can think of is how he best can lie himself out of his predicament and be exchanged against some high value asset. THIS is what occupies his thoughts and the reason he wanted so see the brit jurno in the first place.
This ladies and gents is pure scum at display, and I intensely hope he will face a tribunal and be sentenced as deserved.
Do NOT, I repeat do not, let this guy off the hook, it will send the wrong message back to the ‘west’, i.e. that there’s always a way out for the ‘superior westerners’ no matter what.
I agree completely
“it will send the wrong message back to the ‘west’”
The decisions, like all decisions made here-to-fore in geo-political matters, will be strategically based, and hence the message will not be for the “West”, although since the “West” assigns a significance to itself/themselves that others do not assign to it/them, whilst the “West”, including yourself and many others on “Western languages blogs”, will continue to harbour illusions that “self-evidently” the message is for them.
As W.C.Fields correctly observed – There comes a time in the affairs of men when we must grab the bull by the tail and face the situation (not holograms of our hopes/wishes) – the demystification of the “rule of law” as cloak for the rule of man as a vector of transcendence.
A “contribution” to the demystification of the rule of law being the cloak of the rule of man, including, but not limited to, who is party to the discussions and the date of broadcast.
https://www.rt.com/shows/worlds-apart-oksana-boyko/553987-liu-xin-gap-perception-reality/
Absolutely, I noticed that too right away. When confronted with ‘How do you feel about your mortar rounds slaughtering the men, women, children of Donbass?’, he shrugged his shoulders (so to speak) and said (so to speak). ‘well, um…..regret, I guess.’
Could be he’s a card-carrying psychopath besides being as dull as a chalk knife.
For me he is scum of the earth and not only for the ‘original sin’ of voluntarily going to another country as a mercenary. He was happy to participate in killing civilians in Donbas until he understood the Russians were winning and then he had his great “awakening”? I also think he is lying bout not having contact with Azov and about “refusing to fight” and being indulged and left alone by his murderous “colleagues.”
He should NOT be exchanged, he is not a POW. He is a murderous mercenary. Furthermore he is a slippery manipulator: he keeps his bridges intact with the penis piano player by plugging the exchange of Medvechuk. He not only wants to be set free but he wants to tell Pres Putin what to do!
“but he wants to tell Pres Putin what to do!”
Quite a popular practice including on this blog, some forgetting to assign Mr. Putin a title.
This is quite illuminating and illustrates their immersion in illusions of the primacy/significance of “the individual”, the “cultures” of “The United States of America”, and The Russian Federation simultaneously facilitating wonderlands.
Collection of fresh videos: nato weapons stocks destroyed, cleaning of azov by Chechens(graphic), and artillery.
https://sonar21.com/ukraine-claims-russian-phase-2-has-begun/
I listened, and thought this miserable reprobate deserves everything coming to him. He murdered innocent civilians for three years. Prior to this, he was a well paid mercenary in Syria and Iraq. Again, murdering civilians.
His training brought him to his predicament. The thought he spent his life in death, for profit, greed and power, god help his soul. And the cheapness of other people’s lives.
He like good tories have no shame.
At least they at a the end of his journey of a horrific and tormented life can spread his ashes, returning to his beloved Snowdonia where he obviously spent his formative years.
I don’t buy this SOB’s story.
Put him on trial and pack him into a cell for a decade or two. He’s clearly downplaying his role/rank.
You can hear the voice inflection indicating he’s COMPLETELY LYING.
Likely gathering intel also and seems like the type to report on his fellow comrades also.
Offering information to distract from the real issue: he’s a paid killer and he likes it.
That was a brilliant interview. The guy tried to minimize his role in everything I don’t believe a word he said. And Graham sounded like a detective the way he set them questions up it was just excellent watching it.
Graham missed one opportunity. He should ask the guy, what was the caliber of that mortar. 120mm?
He’ll sing like a songbird at the war crimes trials. Plus a few hundred captured NATO officers will also have illuminating war crimes testimonies.
Russia should use him as they are now as a propaganda tool then lifelong prison sentence or execute him, Guys an arsehole.
Sounds like someone wants to be swapped out and is willing to shop his comrades to achieve that.

British Mercenary fighting for a Salary. This gun for hire.
“In the war between Bulgaria and Serbia, Bulgaria was first on the road from Switzerland so I fought for Bulgaria” — Swiss mercenary in Bernard Shaw’s comedy, Arms and the Man.
Nice one.
Give him a bible a one way train ride to a work camp and a cot in a cell.
A few weeks ago I read that they were offered $2,000 per day. That’s quite a chunk of money.
Let me guess, after his participation in the war for human rights in Syria he decided to settle down with his Ukrainian wife in the Donbass when suddenly Russia invaded and he was forced to fight once again.
They all have bullshit stories like these…
Why is he still alive? I don’t agree with the Russians thinking he is of value to show the world how mean the NATO is. He should have simply been shot out of hand.
So tell me? How did this guy treat the Serbs in the Yugoslav Wars?
All of a sudden he is a peace activist. Piss off!
During the interview, Aiden Aslin says that, at a certain point, he “refused to fight”. Surely, if you are ANY kind of soldier, you cannot “refuse to fight”. I would have thought that you would be summarily shot, for insubordination, for example.
Exactly! He is lying through his teeth.
Some people seem to think he might be swapped for Medvedchuk. In my view, the regime would want a lot more in exchange for Medvedchuk than a couple of mercs. What does ‘elensky get out of such a deal?
There is an article on southfront that tells that asov have women und children
in the asovstal komplex. I fear the west is trying to get a srebrenica moment
to sway the public support of the planet and make it impossible to not
kondemn russia and impossible to prevent the west to put boots on the
ground in odessa and lwow. A freedom fleet of western ships protected
bye nato and bringing food for the cameras and could make odessa a
misurata like situation where al quaida was landed unter the protection of
the british navy to fight ghadaffi.
Excruciating to listen to.
Infuriating subhuman can’t complete a sentence without mumbling the word “like” 15 times.
Intel asset my a$$.
The local TV news referred to this guy being interviewed but announced they were not showing any clips as they were unable to verify he was not being coerced as to what to say. Well at least they were being honest about censoring information (when it suits them).
Coerced to admit to not doing anything wrong? Ok.
After all they are offspring of Thatcherian “I want my money back” post modern non-industrial Britain. Sad story of nation what nowadays produce not much other than nonsense and so called entertainment for delusional citizens of all color.
Well it would put that Bunteresque clown Johnson in a tough position.
Actually, Aiden was no more “evil” than the hundreds of millions of Westerners (especially Americans) who have swallowed the anti-Russian propaganda coming out of the U.S. Factory of Lies in Washington. The main difference is that he decided to act on his convictions, whereas the typical TV-hypnotizee just acts and speaks like some high prelate of morality, but is personally an ignorant fool. In any case, Aiden discovered the reality of the American proxy war against Russia, and decided to stop supporting it. The usual American lemming has no hint of what the reality in this vicious attack on Russia truly is. Aiden has seen it up close and personal.
It seems unlikely that Zelenskyy will trade an English mercenary for his political enemy, Medvedchuk. He is simply following the American playbook which uses politics as a weapon to destroy and, if possible, imprison a political adversary. Zelenskyy is himself little more than a servile American tool.
“Zelenskyy is himself little more than a servile American tool.”
You likely under-represent Mr. Zelenski’s utilities.
He is an actor playing roles and delivering speeches for the self-perceived “directors” but not only, thereby undermining his facility as “American tool” as a constant function of “American” interview criteria, methods, and perceived purposes.
There are other potential vectors of opportunity better left unsaid, since implementation is a form of “communication” which mostly mutates into “interpretation”.
“he decided to act on his convictions, whereas the typical TV-hypnotizee just acts and speaks like some high prelate of morality, but is personally an ignorant fool. In any case, Aiden discovered the reality of the American proxy war against Russia, and decided to stop supporting it”
WRONG.
He has no “convictions.” he is a mercenary. He killed for pay in Syria and then in Ukraine. He did not “discover” anything other than it was time to save his hide because the side that paid him is losing.
“It seems unlikely that Zelenskyy will trade an English mercenary for his political enemy, Medvedchuk”
WRONG. He is in Russian custody, not up to Zelensky to trade.
Try to watch the video and, listen and understand.
“He was talking with a quite skilled journalist, not being interrogated by an experienced designated interrogator who does not resort to torture under any circumstances, since torture is primarily used to “corroborate” a pre-existing, pre-masticated narrative, and hence popular in “The United States of America”.”
and interpreted by “an expert because his resume says so.” and/or he believes so, since we the people hold these truths to be self-evident..
Why get emotional to the capital letter level?
The beliefs and interpretations of others are useful, even the interpretations of a if-only-the-Papa-Czar-knew disposition, whilst emotionalism is a vector of transcendence of the emotional by the non-emotional.
Enjoy your journey.
Capital letters are not always an indication ]of “emotion.” They are used for emphasis.
“Capital letters are not always an indication of “emotion.” They are used for emphasis.”
Not by interrogators who are trained to have no emotions or emphases.
Perhaps you don’t “understand” the comment including register and connotation catalysation, but perhaps the second time around will aid?
Over-extension is also something to avoid, so silence is often a more productive response to avoid hernias.
As you and some others understand if only “intuitively/emotionally”, Mr. Aslin has enjoyed the benefit of some training, but not of a sufficient standard, although he likely believes it to be of a sufficient standard, given the significance that he seeks to assign to himself and believes that others share, as is often the case in opening forays on the dance floor.
You may have perceived a different mode and standard of perception enhancement, which is qualitatively different from “training” which is a method of perception conformance/perception management ?
Perhaps that is why I’m a Bumbler?
Enjoy your journey.
If I heard correctly, Aslin had also fought on the side of the Kurds in Syria. He is incapable of identifying the right side. The Kurds — like the Ukrainians — are tools of the Empire. The Kurds are cooperating with the US in the Deir Ezzor area, where the main oil deposits lie. But they are out of their territory because Syrian Kurdistan is 100 km NORTH of there. They and the Washington Crime Syndicate are there to steal Syrian resources. If Aslin was unaware of this or didn’t care, then I have my doubts about his redeemability.
Let me correct you…Aslin and others who comin to 404 fight on 404 are stupid as box of rocks !!!!!
Wow that man is brain-damaged. I suppose his Ukrainian wife will be happy to get a UK visa and leave him to rot – but I doubt she will be granted a visa. He is deceased in UK terms.
How Graham Phillips kept it together interviewing such a failed specimen of human I do not know. No ability to articulate shame, remorse, or contrition.
He thinks you desert at the front and get a nice posting at battalion HQ ??????? Please Sir I am unhappy, may I desert ? Of course….we only wanted motivated staff here at the customer interface.
This was mind-boggling. Quite why he thinks he did the Russians a favour by surrendering beats me. As for having Medvedchuk go home to his family – he does not need Russian assistance to go to his third wife, the TV presenter in Kiev.
Sean Pinner and Aiden Aislan are tragic examples of democracies in decay as they each have a vote
“How Graham Phillips kept it together interviewing such a failed specimen of human I do not know.”
And then you speculate once more with benefit of flourish on matters apparently that you do know :
” Sean Pinner and Aiden Aislan are tragic examples of democracies in decay as they each have a vote” perhaps in emulation of Mr. Adams answer to everything.
This POS should be made to pay restitution to family members of those he mortared to death. He should never be allowed to live a “normal” life anywhere on earth and 90% of ANY income for the rest of his life donated to his victims, known or unknown. And no “go fund me” accounts! Don’t let him return to Britain–make him serve time in Ukraine/Donbass.
So now we have finally much more realistic figures of Ukrainian forces been trapped to Mariupol some 5 weeks ago.
“Russian intelligence estimated there were 8100 Ukrainian army and marines, Azov, border guard, and state security men in Mariupol as of when the city was definitively sealed off around March 9th or so. (This is much lower than the Ukraine’s public estimate.) Besides those at the steel plant, the balance is now either dead, in captivity, or has successfully fled the city in small groups in a disorganized fashion. ”
https://thedreizinreport.com/2022/04/17/new-thrills-await/
And if some 1/4 still there their losses has not been 12,000 men but at maximum just half of that. Besides hundreds might have been escaped. The lower than estimated number is revealing how hard it is for RF and DPR to eliminate these pockets. Likely there are much less in Kharkov too than estimated (15,000-20,000?) and it will take another 6-8 weeks for RF to take Kharkov. It might be that taking whole eastern Ukraine will take whole 2022 for RF, DPR and Chechens.
And of course all RF MoD claims of Ukie personal military losses should be rethought. Just as I have speculated. This war will be very long and very painful for Russia even if winning it, someday.
A British mercenary or two might be exchanged for a UKRAINIAN politician ( the leader of the most prominent opposition party, ) held under arrest for criticising Zelensky. The mercenaries fight on the same side as the ultra-nationalists that that have themselves threatened to KILL the Ukrainian President if he makes peace with Russia as he PROMISED & was ELECTED to do.
‘ Democracy ‘ works in strange ways in Ukraine !
So his Nazi Twitter account was given to his friend to run.. ah thats okay then?
Why he is given an oportunity to be on Air.
Lock him up, and show me his war crime trial instead. In a meantime let’s carry on a fight.
I dont like it, and I am not going to watch it.
The question is did he torture and kill prisoners, we know he killed civilians directly or indirectly through his actions that he was payed to do, should he have been shot on the spot when it was shown he was a payed killer, yes probably, now that he is public property should he be publicly executed, and that is the question, whether you kill the man or not makes no real difference, the world is full of people like him, it could be your son, brother, father, cousin, your next door neighbour, even your closet friend, he could be branded on his forehead for life, or he could be put in chains and spend the next 25 years rebuilding the Ukraine, with an explosive collar around his neck, every year he gets to be intoviewed for half an hour, just to let the world know what good work he has been doing, been public property he owes many families and the world a debt, can he pay it, or is it easier just to kill him, the problem is people like him just don’t go away, indirectly they are US.
He will be tried according to Ukrainian law as it existed prior to 2014, which is what governs the DPR. At minimum, he will be tried for being a mercenary, which carries a penalty of 5-10 years under DPR law. If he can be tied to specific acts of illegality under Ukrainian law pre-2014, he can be tried for that as well. That includes murder if any of his actions can be shown to have resulted in the deaths of civilians. He claim of “loading mortars” may well have been a confession under evidentiary law. I do not think he will ever leave the DPR unless it is to serve sentence in another jurisdiction. Frankly I believe it he will be put to death under DPR law.
Russia should notify the Usukies that a trade is on, ten Ukie POWs for Elinsky….not a fair trade, Elinsky isn’t worth…..use your imagination
Cheers M
Talking of trade, this is a comment made by that mad woman Yulia Tymoshenko (note, she actually thinks Ukraine is going to win):
https://translate.yandex.ru/translate?url=https%3A%2F%2Fukraina.ru%2Fexclusive%2F20220418%2F1033796349.html&lang=ru-en
I don’t really like the fact that they are beginning to ****pass laws on accelerated privatization of “sweet” objects under martial law****. I believe that this is not possible during a war. There are no market conditions, there is no competition, there is nothing to ensure that fair privatization can be carried out. Besides, is it really time to think about it now? When we don’t know which enterprises will remain ****after the victory**** and which ones won’t,” Tymoshenko said.
Scurry out, rats, it’s over!

This is beyond bizarre. This turkey willingly traveled to Ukraine years ago for the express purpose of holding a gun and pulling a trigger…. Not peeling potatoes or driving a truck mind you!
Every westerner who has watched this video and still believes that Russia is the oppressor the aggressor, should just go hang themselves.
I watched it as open-minded as I could, and let him have his say. I want to believe him, that he is merely an idiot who made one bad mistake after another leading to his current circumstances. But I don’t.
There’s something very off with this guy. He talks a lot, but he doesn’t really say much. He mostly rephrases the same things again and again. What struck me most though, is how little he emotes. There seems be little if any emotions behind what he says, save to some degree in those instances where he clearly feels sorry for himself. Look again when he has the opportunity to address his family, or when he mentions his wife, and listen closely. It’s hard to discern any real feelings behind his words.
In his position, there’s a lot to sorry about. But is he? I’m sure he’s sorry for the situation he finds himself in. i’m sure he’s sorry for the decisions he’s made that led him there. But those are all ‘selfish’ sorry’s. At one point he is given the opportunity to apologize to the people of Donbass. This was a smart move by Graham, as this makes it far more personal. Our merc then talks a lot. Again. But he never actually apologizes, or asks for forgiveness, or shows genuine repentance. He always uses indirect language like “I hope they’ll forgive me”, instead of saying “I ask you to forgive me”. This strongly indicates he doesn’t believe what he’s saying. He’s sorry for himself, but i doubt he feels sorry on anyone else’s behalf.
The way he speaks and uses language signals a denial of personal responsibility rather that accepting it. He basically keeps saying it wasn’t really his fault. Yes, he made poor choices, but he was misled into making them. Or so he claims. I guarantee you, if this guy gets exchanged and makes it back to the UK, he’ll change his tune again. He will do and say whatever will benefit him the most in any given situation. He will try to ‘weasel’ his way out of any predicament he finds himself in. He’s not the brightest bulb in the room, but he does have some fairly cunning wits about himself.
As to the content of his story, it’s rather shaky and at points even contradictory. He claims he wanted to ‘desert’ on day one of the intervention already, but couldn’t. He said he refused to fight, but also says he served as part of a mortar crew and later as a guard at battalion HQ. None of that really adds up, does it?
And let’s take a closer look at his claims of his early attempts at ‘desertion’. The term refers, by definition, to the unauthorized abandonment of the armed forces of which you are part. You, quite literally, cannot ask for permission to desert, as he claims he did several times. Assuming there is some truth to this, what likely happened was that at some point (and not on day one as he claims) he asked in some carefully phrased way to be dismissed from duty (and he certainly didn’t use the word ‘desert’). This likely happened when he realized the Ukrainians were unlikely to be victorious, which meant his main options were to either get killed in combat or to be captured as a foreign mercenary.
Neither of those looked appealing to this very self-serving and egocentric individual, so he started looking for a way out. Once his superiors realized he wanted to leave, they transferred him away from the front, to a post at the HQ, where they could keep an eye on him. To be honest, i doubt that someone this egotistical would really desert and run the risk of getting caught and executed by his own side. And he knew for sure that that was what was likely to happen if he did get caught.
No, he tried to game his way out the Ukrainian army when it became clear they were going to lose, just as he is trying to game his way out now.
If he can be linked to any specific war crimes directly or indirectly, he should be tried and sentenced accordingly. If not, I would leave it up to the Donetsk and Russian authorities to see how they can get the best out of him.
Let’s just say he was sent there by the british goverment…he doesn’t say much of course.
My observation is this coward individual, has taken the time to prepare not only physically but mentally to decide he is going to war in Ukraine to kill Russians, his decision and his perspective was already made.
But suddenly he is very carefully trying to convince the public that he is a good guy and that he went to war no knowing nor to listen to his command superiors ?
In my book he is guilty as charge and he should be in prison for life or dead by hanging until last breath.
He was prepared to go to war not as a soldier but as a mercenary he should be as macho as he made his stupid decision to go to war, now to have a rope in his neck and die as a mercenary!
He should behave with honour instead of behaving like a coward victim!
