Dear friends
Today I am sharing with you the video of the public appeal made by Faina Savenkova, from Lugansk, to the United Nations and the rest of the world reminding them that the children of the Donbass deserve to live in peace and security. This video is posted at the same time it will go on display at the UN HQ in New York, courtesy of the Russian Mission to the UN. For those who have missed it, here is an article written by Faina for the Saker blog in which I mention the possibility to ask Faina any question you want, please do check it out. I now leave you with Fania’s appeal, please circulate it as much as possible!
Thank you
The Saker
Russia should recognise people’s republics. Many children have woken up who do not know peace.
Impressive in its directness and style.
Next to Faina, I would like to hear the voices of the children in Syria, Yemen, Lybia and every area or country that might not spring directly to my mind.
Let’s hear their voices and keep that in mind when our own lives look like so self-evident, so what it seems as long as it lasts.
Will they hear? They will hear, and think first about their own interests, I’m afraid. Things go like that in these regions. But Donbass has a voice.
Stay safe and healthy, cheers, Rob
My dear young lady Faina,
You are no alone, you are far from alone. You can never trust in ‘UN’, you can never trust in ‘EU’, the only trust you can ever give is to us, your fellow Russians who use our shields to protect you as best we can.
Your words have an eloquence that belie your age, very much so. You, like me, will forever be burdened with the knowledge you have of war, for the rest of you life you, like me, will on the gentle summer evenings as the distant thunder alerts your senses your instant, and sadly automatic, reaction is to decide if it is thunder or is it war and you will instantly know the difference. More is the pity for that, and even more is the pity that you have not known the peaceful youth and blossoming in to young womanhood you so richly deserve and which is your God given right without the clouds of war forever close, too close, to you.
But, just as surely as the sun rises, my young lady, the day will come when the shackles that hold us back will be torn asunder and our shields will protect you as our swords liberate you and bring you and yours the peace and calm life that is your right to have. When that day comes it is possible we will meet because I will be there, I may be getting old but I have not forgotten how to fight and how to protect the innocent.
Amarynth, contact me and we together will give this child a small gift of Blue Cloud. Perhaps it will give her a smile and nothing is more radiant, and precious, than the smile of a child. I will also change the dedication of Blue Cloud to her if you think that is appropriate.

This young woman, if there were a few more such young women, could serve as the centerpiece of a powerful media campaign to put a human face the the destruction the US/UK/NATO are willingly inflicting on Donbass and all of Ukraine with their psychopathic war.
Europeans and North Americans must confront corrupt and cripple the power of the corrupt American along with NATO leadership. This is the only way to end the war. Mass acts of civil disobedience, crippling the power of ruling elites.
Dearest Faina
May your eloquent words find the right ears and your graceful spirit find the right hearts – those that not only hear and feel, but those who can stop the madness of war against children.
We all remember that image of a young Donbass mother lying dead in a park, holding dead child to her breast. We remember all the other images of lives lost too – no doubt scrubbed from the internet now. Whilst, you dear child have lived this horror for most of your childhood. Stay strong and know that you are not alone.
This young lady clearly has a mind of her own, which she is giving voice to with her beautifully simple, direct and compelling words. Compare her to Greta Thunberg, the sad sock puppet, who has no words unless Al Gore or Klaus Schwab have placed them in her mouth.
Many thanks for posting this powerful appeal by Faina –I listen to her, and think of children all over this troubled earth who are suffering from wars (of all different types) and this must be a deliberate effort to make the human race extinct. Wars are designed to make us completely loose our faith in our righteous Lord, and to strike us blind to the beautiful things of this earth, to destroy our love and our dreams. And a many of us will raise our voices to heaven and cry out in absolute despair every time another child has their life and their future ripped away from them, and wonder why the sky did not darken–or maybe, it will darken — and maybe somehow, humanity will experience a resurrection?
I know that anything is possible, for evil, or for good.
Truly Heartwarming, sad and innocent,we pray for these children, always in our prayers and in our minds, the sorrow of lost childhood in a war torn land of peace in normality,God bless Mother Russia and God bless her children and the men and fathers who give their lives to save the children,God bless President Putin our Hero and the hero of his people who know he loves them dearly and the land of his birth, from Ireland with Love.
