Ever since Russia touched down in Latakia, Peter Lavelle has an easy game. Even hardcore Neocons and rabid Zionists start stuttering when trying to defend Washington’s untenable double-bind position. Everyone else has a laugh.
Of course, in their “free speech zones” – that’s all mainstream TV shows, newspapers and magazines of the whole Western world – where the Politburo talking heads are securely sealed off from the real world, they still can brag and threaten, lie and black-mail to their heart’s content.
And they will be forced to do so in more and more aggressive and bellicose fashion in the coming months and years. The law of karma calls for it.
Very good video (as always from SF). I read the other day that the Kurds weren’t too happy about the US wanting them to advance further. They only want to fight and protect the Kurdish inhabited areas in Syria. So if Russia (and the Syrian government) offer them a deal (maybe Kurdish autonomy) they might side with the Syrian side,we know how much they dislike the Turks and ISIS.Then there is Israel. They have an almost intifada situation on their hands right now (which with normal zionist brutality, they are making worse). And Netanyahu is even getting Jews against him.In trying to stoke anti-Muslim sentiment in the World,he went “a bridge to far”.And tried the Ukrainian trick of rewriting history. But even the Jewish Israelis didn’t go for that.He is trying to say the Mufti of Jerusalem was responsible for the Holocaust. That he talked Hitler into it.Historians and Jewish leaders jumped all over him on that.Even his defense minister said it wasn’t true.So with all the trouble they are in internally.I don’t see how they can manage any big military adventures right now. Then there is Saudi Arabia. If the Yemeni fighters get more weapons they just might “take a bit” out of Saudi Arabia itself. The area in the South West of Saudi Arabia (Asir province) is ethnically close to the Yemeni sub-group of Arabs. And part are Shia, very close to the Houthi beliefs. The Saudis only chance is the AQAP and ISIS groups in Yemen. And if the Saudis are now working against them, they may turn on them too.The Saudis may very well see the war coming to them pretty soon if they aren’t careful. Then there is Turkey. What is going to happen with the November election, only a couple of weeks away. And is ISIS and others going to now turn on Turkey too.And what about the Kurds? Are they going to “kiss and make up” with Erdagon, after the killing of their people by the Turks.I wouldn’t bet on that.Though stranger things have happened there. In case anyone has any doubts on who (and why) Russia is fighting terrorism in Syria, check this video: http://fortruss.blogspot.com/2015/10/film-expulsion-syrian-christians-under.html
Bob, Satan-yahoo’s deranged attribution of responsibility for the Nazi Judeocide to the Palestinians, for that is what his speech says, is deeply sinister. If you can frame the Palestinians as the true architects of the Judeocide, then any treatment is justified to the Zionazis, including a vengeful genocide. Many ‘religious’ and political figures in Israel have called for genocide, increasingly so in recent years, even Cabinet members like Ayelet Shaked. Even more likely, however, is a mass forced expulsion, but Israel would need cover, like a war with Hezbollah and Iran, and Satan and his minions are certainly evil enough for that, and probably reckless enough, too.
I don’t doubt that extremist zionists would love to expel the Palestinians in mass from all Palestine. The problems in Palestine are very hard for me to comment on. I’ve spent so much time over the years worrying about the oppressed people of that land, that it enrages me to even think of the zionist crimes against those people. So calmly, writing comments about it is very difficult. Not all Israelis are the enemy of Palestinians. But those that are, are the ones with power in Israel. They are some of the worse people its been my misfortune to ever study.Netanyahu isn’t even the worst of them.He is just one of the most “honest” in speaking his feelings.I put a lot of that down to his brother being killed in the struggles. He hates Arabs with a passion. And someone like that should never have power in a country. The zionist elites have in the past known their limits. They go right to the edge with their crimes. But haven’t gone over “yet”.The newer bunch of zionist zealots I don’t know about.I suspect they don’t believe they have any limits. So we will have to wait and see what they try.But the World is changing quickly. The Holocaust isn’t the excuse it once was for them. And anti-Israeli sentiment is spreading below the surface in many countries in the World. So I don’t think mass expulsions would be permitted in today’s World.
I hope the analysis is wrong regarding Turkey. A lot of antipathy towards greater regional involvement and towards Arabs in general exists within Turkish society. The Turkish opposition blames Erdogan for massively miscalculating and for creating a mess.
The East has drawn a line in Syria, a line that says the dominion of the West is ending.
What will the West do, will it try to force the East to bend its knee?
The East will not bend its knee, those days are over.
The West cannot defeat the East. If the West does not relent then its WW3.
Even if the West relent they would be back.
The global dispute can be only solved by WAR.
The primitive instinct call.
It is said however the sooner we have a war the less misery awaits us all.
I am realist.
The diplomacy around the UN speech of mr Putin, and the subsequent visit of Netanyahu to Moskow has resulted in a Israel no fly zone: just stay away from Syria!
But nothing is for nothing! So I think the Palestinian cause has (again) become pocket change. Very cruel and unjust, but priorities first. I hate it, but cannot object.
A few days later: messing with al Aqsa. The one thing which drives Palestinians absolutely crazy, and subsequent killing of mostly innocent Israeli civilians. ( which is idiotic and undisciplined, and I cannot believe Nasrallah gloryfing it, given the devastating blowback which will follow!)
Given the cheap narrative about this mufti (demonizing the Palestinian religious leader at the time, and generalizing this to ´the Palestinians´, even now), I can only expect a genocide, more hidious and massive than all the ones before.
But I still agree: priorities first, and idiots will die. Even if it tears my heart out!
Huh ? I thought Anon’s post was ok…but I don’t blame the Palestinians for these stabbings…I mean not all human beings are part of a great strategy….humans just behave themselves the way that passion dictates when the pressure is on.
I guess the Israelis’ have these stabbings coming … they’ve asked for it basically, but I agree with anon that the revenge is going to be awful…but it won’t change the Palestinians ways….human really.
@Ann Attacking military is guerilla warfare. Attacking police and political figures could also be considered guerilla warfare.
Attacking random civilians, which some of these incidents have been is terrorism pure and simple.
At the UNSC, both China and Russia pretty much left Yemen to the US and Saudi’s.
Either one could have vetoed the resolution on blocking arms to Yemen, but I think one or the other China or Russia voted for the arms blockade and one abstained.
This has led to a total blockade of even food and fuel to Yemen by the Saudi’s.
I’m guessing neither will interfere in whatever happens in Israel.
To an extend your right. But there are “red lines” Israel can’t cross. As long as their actions are “drip,by drip” stealing land ,killing people. But if they cross that line to mass genocide,or mass expulsions. Then no one will be able to pretend not to see it.Then you have Russia’s and China’s allies to contend with. Its very unlikely that Iran or Syria will stay silent on that. And Russia and China will then have a decision to make.Do they do nothing and lose their allies.Or do they join their allies in demanding action be taken.I don’t know what their reaction will be.But it seems to me that Iran (the key to all Central Asia.),and Syria,(the key to the Levant and Western Asia.) are important for their futures. So I suspect they will join their allies.
It just riles my goat when these guys think we are just ignoramous and stupid sheep and they can do any kind of evil in the world and get away with it. Osama is really great at that barrel bomb thing and keep repeating it like its really far different than throwing white burning phosphorus that can not be put out onto living human beings.
Here is someone who is on pretty much the same level as Osama.. Notice how he talks about his terrorists as disgruntled rebels and then talk about foreign terrorists in the same breath. This guy needs to be strung up in his own dungeon. And these are the kinds of creeps Europe wants to let in to live amongst them??????
The leader of the Turkish secret service and confidant of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Hakan Fidan, took the defense of the Islamic Emirate in an interview with the official news agency Anadoly (October 18, 2015).
Hakan Fidan added that it is essential that Daesh (the Islamic Emirate, ISIS-ISIL) can open a consulate, or at least a political office in Istanbul, in order to meet the many jihadists who come to Turkey to join the “Islamic revolution” in Syria.
Mr. Fidan said: “The Islamic Emirate is a reality and we must accept that we can not eradicate a well organized and popular institution as the Islamic State is. Therefore, I urge my colleagues in the West to revise their mindset on Islamic political currents, to put aside their cynical mentality and thwart Putin plans to crush the Islamist Syrian revolutionaries”.
Mr. Fidan accused Russia of “violating international law in Syria”
At least the Erdogan regime is coming out as Daash’s greatest supporter. The Western MSM sewer will NEVER report this revelation either, still carrying on with the ‘Turkey opposes IS’ garbage.
